Abstract

This study aims to produce Boxs Paber media products for measuring units of length and weight that are appropriate for use by grade III (three) students in learning Mathematics in Elementary Schools. This study uses the ADDIE development model, through five stages, namely analysis (analyze), design (design), development (develop), implementation (implement), and evaluation (evaluate). The research was conducted at SDN Glagahan 1 with 30 students in class III as an experimental class and 30 students in class III at SDN Perak 2 as a control class. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires, tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques include qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of the research show that: (1) the development of Boxs Paber media consists of several aspects of development, namely media, material and language. In terms of media, it's simple, good, displaying varied colors, neat, and flexible. In terms of material, the material is in accordance with KI, KD, and learning objectives as well as attractive pictures. Furthermore, in terms of language, communicative, according to EYD and straightforward; (2) The feasibility level of Boxs Paber media is in the very feasible or very valid category. This can be seen from the results of the media expert's assessment being 94, the material expert's assessment being 77, and the language expert's assessment being 91 so that the average validity of the media is 87 (Very Valid). (3) In terms of interest and ability, it can improve higher order thinking skills after using Boxs Paber media. This is shown by students' interest which was initially 31.48 increasing to 52.32 and students' high level thinking abilities which were initially 47.4 to 87. From the increase in students' interest and high level thinking abilities, it shows that the use of the Boxs Paber media is long unit material and effective weight is used in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: 1) To foster a reading or literacy culture 2) To practice enjoyable reading activities 3) To implement reading or literacy activities for students with ADHD. 4) To assist in the registration of Literacy-Cloud platform accounts for teachers and students with ADHD. The research is conducted at SD Labschool UNESA with a population of 12 classes and a sample size of 6 students with ADHD who experience difficulties in focusing on objects or reading materials. The enhancement of digital literacy skills through the Literacy-Cloud Platform, as a movement to motivate, engage, and cultivate digital reading culture, using a participatory persuasive approach. The method used is qualitative descriptive with data sources consisting of interview results, literature review, field notes, and observation results. This activity consists of three treatments: training, assistance with digital information search strategies, and the implementation of enjoyable reading for the students. This program has successfully improved the digital literacy of teachers and students, especially students with ADHD. Evaluation results show that teachers and students are able to search for digital reading materials and apply enjoyable reading practices to the students.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the Visionary Leadership of Vocational School Principals in increasing industrial trust and alumni absorption. The research method used is a qualitative method with a multi-case study approach. The data collection is through in-depth interviews, direct observation and field documentation. While the data analysis model used in this study is the Miles and Hubberman model which consists of the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The key informants of this study were the principals of SMKN 1 Wonoasri and SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Dolopo, and a team of teachers. The results of this study indicate that the Visionary leadership style applied to both SMK PK, namely SMKN 1 Wonoasri and SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Dolopo, is able to increase industrial trust by creating a clear vision and mission by implementing a culture of transparency and focusing on social and economic values. Even the two SMKs in Madiun Regency gained the trust to establish cooperation by creating official DU/DI partner workshops at school locations or educational institutions. With these values, it has a positive impact on both schools, namely both vocational schools become Center of Excellence Vocational Schools and gain public trust, especially in PPDB and provide official workshop and dealer services centered in the vocational schools. In addition, the industrial trust provided by DU/DI partners is by providing opportunities for graduates of both vocational schools in Madiun Regency every year. Informan kunci dari penelitian ini adalah kepala SMKN 1 Wonoasri dan SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Dolopo , tim guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan Visioner yang diterapkan pada kedua SMK PK yakni SMKN 1 Wonoasri dan SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Dolopo mampu meningkatkan industrial trust dengan menciptakan visi dan misi yang jelas dengan menerapkan budaya transparansi dan berfokus pada nilai sosial dan nilai ekonomis. Bahkan kedua SMK di Kabupaten Madiun tersebut memperoleh kepercayaan untuk menjalin kerjasama dengan membuat bengkel resmi DU/DI mitra di lokasi sekolah atau instansi pendidikan. Dengan nilai-nilai tersebut memberikan dampak positif baik bagi sekolah yaitu kedua SMK menjadi SMK Pusat Keunggulan dan memperoleh kepercayaan masyarakat utamanya dalam PPDB dan memberikan pelayanan bengkel serta dealer resmi yang berpusat di SMK. Selain itu industrial trust yang diberikan oleh DU/DI mitra yakni dengan memberikan peluang bagi lulusan kedua SMK di Kabupaten Madiun pada tiap tahunnya. Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) To find out about how the implementation of the school literacy movement in increasing reading interest is implemented at SMP Negeri 14 Mataram; 2) To find out the literacy programs that have been developed to increase students' interest in reading; 3) To provide an overview of the inhibiting and supporting factors in implementing the school literacy movement in increasing students' interest in reading. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis is used for data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study showed that SMPN 14 Mataram had implemented the GLS program by instilling reading habits, and the principal made a School Literacy Team Decree, the GLS program used was Habituation, self-development, and insertion in learning. The implementation of GLS has a positive impact on the school community and the implementation of the literacy movement is still in the development stage. Developing Programs: 1) Reading and writing in the form of activities 15 minutes of reading; 2) Numeracy; 3) Science; 4) Digital; 5) Financial; 6) Culture and Citizenship; 7) Literacy festival. The supporting factors for the GLS program are the support of the principal and teachers the issuance of the School Literacy Team Decree, the availability of books, and GLS programs. Factors inhibiting GLS include students' lack of awareness and interest in reading, teachers are often late to class so that no one supervises students' literacy activities, limited books, and inadequate library buildings.

Abstract

This article examines the social interaction skills and learning process of children with special needs with multiple disabilities, including autism, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental disorders. Social interaction is identified as a crucial factor affecting children's academic and emotional development. This study explores the various challenges faced by children in building social relationships and communication with their environment. In addition, this article presents effective learning strategies, such as individual approaches and inclusive environments, to improve social skills. The findings suggest that with proper support, children with special needs can develop better interaction skills, which contribute to improving their quality of life. This article aims to provide insights for educators, parents, and practitioners in designing educational programs that are more responsive to children's needs.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital pocket book that can help improve social behavior in individuals with cerebral palsy (CP) through a peer-based approach. Cerebral palsy often affects motor and communication skills, limiting social interactions with peers. Therefore, technology can provide a solution to enhance their social skills. This digital pocket book is designed with features that facilitate communication and social interaction through various educational activities tailored to the needs of children with CP. By incorporating inclusive and user-friendly design principles, the application provides easy-to-understand and engaging materials, supporting the development of social behavior in a more interactive environment. The development of this product involves testing with the target group to evaluate its effectiveness and user response. The research findings are expected to contribute to creating more inclusive technology-based solutions that support improved quality of life for children with cerebral palsy, particularly in terms of communication and social interaction with peers.

Abstract

The emergence of private schools in urban areas is to fill the lack of availability of public schools because the population is not balanced with the number of schools. The mushrooming of private schools raises new problems in getting students in uncertain conditions. Many private schools do not get students or do not fit the class, which makes these private schools have to be closed. SMA Lab School UNESA 1 has a strategy used to increase the number of students in each new school year. The purpose of this research is to see how the school's efforts to increase the number of students in the new school year. In this study using a qualitative case study method, data collection techniques were used by interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The subjects in this study were the school principal, vice principal, teacher, and student guardians. Data analysis techniques with data condensation, data presentation, and data conclusions are displayed. The results of this research have three main themes, namely the school's internal strategy in improving the school's internal system, external strategies related to cooperative relations and communication carried out by school stakeholders, and the obstacles experienced can be used as a reference for future evaluations in improving school strategies. The conclusion of the strategy carried out by SMA Lab School is to improve the internal quality of the school, improve cooperative relations with externals, and pay attention to the obstacles that occur during the process of implementing the strategy in increasing the number of students in the new school year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan panduan pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa menggunakan metode maternal reflektif berbasis web bagi guru anak tunarungu, serta menganalisis kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluate) untuk menganalisa, merancang, mengembangkan, mengimplementasikan dan mengevaluasi panduan yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panduan berbasis web ini memiliki validitas yang layak dengan skor 84% dan 53% berdasarkan evaluasi ahli media dan materi, serta praktis digunakan oleh guru dengan tingkat kepraktisan 77%. Selain itu, uji efektivitas menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan nilai Z sebesar -2,214 dengan p-value 0,027, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru dalam materi keterampilan berbahasa anak tunarungu secara signifikan setelah menggunakan panduan ini. Implikasi dari panduan ini menjadi alternatif yang inovatif bagi guru dalam memahami materi mengajarkan keterampilan berbahasa kepada anak tunarungu dan meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran.

Abstract

AbstrakKetidakberhasilan sekolah dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikannya seringkali dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya kemampuan sekolah dalam menyusun rencana strategis. Selain itu, masih banyak sekolah yang belum memiliki rencana strategis atau hanya sekedar disusun sebagai formalitas saja tanpa dijadikan sebagai pedoman pengembangan sekolah. Artikel ini menganalisis perencanaan strategis di SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan-tahapan dalam perencanaan Strategis (Renstra) sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi dan wawancara langsung dengaan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam Renstra SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya disusun dalam Rencana Kerja Jangka Menengah (RKJM), dengan tahapan meliputi pembentukan tim, analisis internal dan eksternal dengan pendekatan SWOT, dan penyusunan strategi sekolah. Dalam penyusunannya pun sekolah melibatkan semua stakeholder baik akademik maupun no-akademik. Abstract The failure of schools to achieve their educational goals is often influenced by the school's lack of ability to develop strategic plans. In addition, many schools still do not have a strategic plan or are just prepared as a formality without being used as a guideline for school development. This article analyzes strategic planning at SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya, to know the stages in preparing the school's Strategic Plan (Renstra). This study used qualitative methods by collecting data through observation and direct interviews with school principals. The results showed that the SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya Strategic Plan was prepared in the Medium-Term Work Plan (RKJM), with stages including team building, internal and external analysis with a SWOT approach, and school strategy preparation. In its preparation, the school also involves all academic and non-academic stakeholders. Â
