Abstract

Improvements in communication technology have a broad impact in various fields, including education. The pattern of learning communication has changed from face-to-face learning activities to virtual-based learning. This virtual-based communication pattern is getting stronger with the presence of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research aims to eksplore various articles related to virtual-based learning communication patterns. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with meta-synthesis analysis techniques. Data collection in this study was carried out by collecting articles from 2020-2023 that have a similar focus. The articles analyzed in this study were 9 accredited national journal articles obtained from the Google Scholar database using Harzing's Publish or Perish application with the keyword virtual-based learning communication patterns. This study found that the virtual learning process can run well, not only supported by mastery of the application used but also supported by the involvement of parents as a substitute for the teacher's role in the learning process as a facilitator, motivator, and director.

Abstract

The phenomenon of street children who often dress up as punks has begun to color the scenery in several district capitals in Bangka Belitung Province. Their activities have also begun to disturb the community and disturb public order. This study examines the government's response and its efforts to overcome the phenomenon of street children. The research method uses a qualitative approach, data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The results show that most of the street children who are active on the streets of the cities in Bangka Belitung Province come from outside the Bangka Belitung. The government has made various efforts to overcome this problem, but the results have not been maximized. This research concludes that the government's response to street children is still preventive.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the increase in knowledge and attitudes towards practicing the values of the Pancasila by Islamic spiritual community of State Vocational Schools in the City of Pangkalpinang through workshops. The approach in this study was quantitative with an experimental method. The design used pre-experimental design one group pre-test post-test. The mean score of knowledge of Pancasila values was 69.70 in the pre-test and 75.3 in the post-test, there was an increase in students’ knowledge after attending the workshop which descriptively increased by 8%. The average score of students’ attitudes toward practicing Pancasila values in the pre-test was 3.81 and the post-test was 4.00, there was a significant increase in the attitude scores of students towards the practice of Pancasila values after attending workshops which descriptively increased by 3%. The students’ knowledge and attitudes towards practicing the values of Pancasila increased through workshop.

Abstract

In a literature, the hegemony of power is frequently occurred in leadership activity. It was also occurred in a novel of Ahmad Tohari entitled Di Kaki Bukit Cibalak focused on ruler’s injustice as a social problem. The novel talked about a movement to demolish the hegemonic power. The aim of the study was to describe a form of resistance to hegemony and in what kind of society the hegemony power occurred written in Di Kaki Bukit Cibalak novel. The method of the study was semiotic by using several approaches: heuristic, hermeneutic, and sociology of literature. There were five forms of hegemony namely: hegemony to assets, hegemony to citizens, hegemony of intellectuals, hegemony of shamans to their patients, and hegemony to Chinese descendants. In terms of resistance to hegemony, it was happened the resistance through shaman and media. The resistance to hegemony of power occurred in a proletar – bourgeois society and capitalist – intellectual society.

Abstract

Education in the current era of globalization faces the challenge of technological disruption, necessitating serious efforts to filter communication bias, especially in the field of education. Another challenge is the abundance of negative content on social media, which poses a challenge for multicultural education among students. The low level of literacy and psychomotor competence, particularly among educators, is a hindrance to integrating multicultural education values. Additionally, the limited number of religious education teachers in schools further exacerbates this challenge, making the inculcation of multicultural education a serious issue. The technical ability of teachers, especially those who struggle to operate technology, is a practical problem that needs immediate resolution. The methodology used in this article is qualitative descriptive, drawing from various literature sources to support the study. Based on the discussion, it is concluded that persuasive communication in multicultural education can change the attitudes, behaviors, and beliefs of individuals or groups regarding certain issues, particularly in multicultural education. Persuasive communication in multicultural education has unique characteristics and provides positive effects on the audience because it has the ability to change their attitudes, opinions, and behaviors without coercion, allowing them to subconsciously follow the communicator's intentions. This communication technique, therefore, plays an essential role in multicultural education.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic educational institutions in Jambi Province in raising legal awareness about online gambling. The research aims to explore how Islamic education can enhance legal awareness regarding online gambling, considering its negative impacts such as financial losses, addiction, increased crime, and mental health issues. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with 6 Islamic education teachers, document analysis of curriculum materials, educational policies, lesson plans, and observations of 3 participants. The findings reveal that Islamic educational institutions in Jambi Province play a pivotal role in addressing online gambling among students through various effective methods. By integrating Islamic moral values into the curriculum, utilizing technology, and employing religious lectures and case-based learning, these institutions have successfully raised students' awareness about the effects of online gambling. Despite challenges such as initial student unawareness and curriculum constraints, collaboration among schools, pesantren, and religious communities presents opportunities to enhance these educational efforts. The use of social media and community outreach is also crucial in expanding awareness and mitigating the negative impacts of online gambling. In conclusion, this study highlights the significant role of Islamic education in safeguarding society from online gambling and advocates for the continued development of comprehensive educational programs to address this issue. Studi ini mengkaji peran lembaga pendidikan Islam di Provinsi Jambi dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum terhadap judi online. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi bagaimana pendidikan Islam dapat meningkatkan kesadaran hukum mengenai judi online, yang berdampak negatif seperti kerugian finansial, kecanduan, peningkatan kejahatan, dan gangguan kesehatan mental. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 6 pengajar agama Islam, analisis dokumen terhadap materi kurikulum, kebijakan pendidikan, rencana pelajaran, dan observasi terhadap 3 partisipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga pendidikan Islam di Provinsi Jambi memainkan peran kunci dalam menangani judi online melalui berbagai metode efektif. Integrasi nilai-nilai moral Islam ke dalam kurikulum, pemanfaatan teknologi, serta penggunaan ceramah agama dan pembelajaran berbasis kasus berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang dampak judi online. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti kurangnya kesadaran awal dan batasan kurikulum, kolaborasi antara sekolah, pesantren, dan komunitas religius menawarkan peluang untuk meningkatkan inisiatif ini. Penggunaan media sosial dan penyuluhan komunitas juga menjadi faktor penting dalam memperluas kesadaran dan mengatasi dampak negatif judi online. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pendidikan Islam dalam melindungi masyarakat dari judi online dan mendorong pengembangan program pendidikan yang lebih komprehensif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut.

Abstract

UMKM Sambal Pecel menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan dalam pemahaman dan penerapan branding produk sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan daya saing di pasar. Sebagian besar pelaku UMKM masih berfokus pada produksi dan penjualan tradisional, tanpa memanfaatkan branding yang efektif untuk membangun loyalitas konsumen dan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan branding produk. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada pelaku UMKM mengenai pentingnya branding sebagai strategi bisnis, sekaligus meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam menciptakan desain branding yang menarik dan sesuai kebutuhan pasar. Pelatihan ini melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa, serta diikuti oleh 8 peserta dari UMKM Sambal Pecel. Materi pelatihan meliputi pentingnya branding dalam meningkatkan daya saing, serta pelatihan praktik langsung menggunakan aplikasi Canva untuk menciptakan branding produk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam membuat branding produk, serta kesadaran akan pentingnya strategi branding dalam meningkatkan daya saing usaha. Evaluasi menunjukkan respons positif dari peserta, yang mengakui bahwa pelatihan ini relevan dan bermanfaat dalam mendukung pengembangan usaha mereka.

Abstract

Tingkat stres kerja karyawan yang disebabkan oleh gaya kepemimpinan akan berbeda-beda tergantung dari seorang karyawan mempersepsikan gaya kepemimpinanya. Efek dari stres kerja seperti mudah lelah dan sulit berkonsentrasi, sehingga pelayanan kepada pasien menjadi terhambat dan resiko kesalahan pemberian obat dapat terjadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Gaya Kepemimpinan Perawat Penanggung Jawab Dengan Tingkat Stres Kerja Perawat di RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor. Metode yang digunakan adalah Desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasinya adalah perawat pelaksana di ruangan yang memiliki nilai BOR yang tinggi dan ruang perawatan Intensif, dengan teknik total sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 52 orang. Data diambil pada bulan November 2022 dengan menggunakan Instrumen lembar kuesioner gaya kepemimpinan model Hersey & Blanchard dan lembar kuesioner stres kerja perawat yang dimodifikasi dan adaptasi dari ENSS (Expanded Nursing Stress Scale). Analisis data univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan persentase dan analisis data bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Berdasarkan hasil uji menggunakan chi square diperoleh hasil  p value 0,000 < 0,05. Terdapat hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan Perawat Penanggung Jawab dengan Tingkat Stres Kerja Perawat di RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor, sehingga penggunaan gaya kepemimpinan Perawat Penanggung Jawab dengan gaya yang tinggi partisipasi dapat diterapkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam etika kerja di PT Hino Finance Indonesia, dengan menyoroti bahasa Indonesia sebagai medium komunikasi yang strategis. Pancasila sebagai dasar negara memberikan landasan moral dan etika yang dapat diterapkan dalam praktik kerja industri, sedangkan bahasa Indonesia berperan sebagai alat komunikasi yang memfasilitasi pemahaman, kolaborasi, dan internalisasi nilai-nilai tersebut di lingkungan kerja multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan karyawan, observasi aktivitas kerja, dan analisis dokumen perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Pancasila seperti musyawarah, keadilan sosial, dan kemanusiaan telah diintegrasikan dalam kebijakan perusahaan dan diterapkan melalui komunikasi efektif menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Pemanfaatan bahasa Indonesia tidak hanya memperkuat rasa kebersamaan dan gotong royong di antara karyawan, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesadaran etis dan profesionalisme kerja. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan pelatihan komunikasi berbasis Pancasila untuk mendorong keberlanjutan budaya kerja yang harmonis dan berdaya saing di era globalisasi

Abstract

Ciparasi village, Sobang district, Lebak Regency Banten Province still face challenges such as limited infrastructure and low digital literacy. Among them are the uneven Internet infrastructure and the lack of computer hardware in some regions obstructing the optimization of technology. Low digital literacy, especially among older citizens, requires more intensive educational programmes. Therefore, this community service program aims to digitize villages in order to support the quality of life of citizens through administrative efficiency, improved technological infrastructure, training and education programmes, and digital services applications implemented. Through this program, the efficiency of village administration is increased and public services are made faster and more transparent. The improvement in the quality of life of villagers is reflected in the ease of access to health services and education through digital applications. In conclusion, digitization of villages brings many tangible benefits but requires collaborative efforts between governments, technology service providers, and the public to address the challenges. Comprehensive training and education programmes must continue to be implemented to ensure that the whole layer of society can make optimal use of digital technology.
