Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan berbagai upaya yang dapat ditempuh guna meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks editorial dan opini pada siswa di tingkat SMA/SMK. Penelitian ini dikaji menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara membaca artikel-artikel secara mendalam, mengidentifikasi setiap bagian yang mengandung kesulitan siswa ketika mereka membuat teks editorial ataupun opini, selanjutnya dari kesulitan yang telah ditemukan itu, peneliti kemudian menganalisisnya sehingga ditemukanlah upaya penyelesaian yang tepat, yang kemudian akan dideskripsikan menjadi sebuah kalimat atau paragraf.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of Canva For Education in enhancing the creativity and presentation skills of students at Universitas Negeri Malang. Faced with the challenges of the global job market, the university recognizes the potential of Canva For Education as an innovative solution with features such as visual design, team collaboration, and multimedia integration. Despite implementation challenges such as integrating technology into the curriculum and data security issues, Canva For Education can provide a positive contribution to the development of students' skills. Literature reviews indicate that this platform can boost creativity through appealing visual designs, team collaboration, and the utilization of learning resources. Furthermore, Canva For Education can advance presentation skills through attractive slide designs, effective use of visualization, and consistent content design. The article concludes by affirming that Canva For Education is a valuable tool in preparing students for the demands of the increasingly visually-oriented global job market

Abstract

Changing times require women to do outdoor activities, so women must look for alternatives to carry out their worship comfortably. However, what happens is that there are still many mosques as public spaces that are not friendly to the presence of women, both in terms of infrastructure and service facilities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, taking the research location in Ambon City. Ambon was chosen as the research location because it is the centre of the Maluku community's government, education, and economy, with a population of 1,031,587 Muslims. The research results found that many mosques in Ambon City were unfriendly and exclusive for women. This mosque's lack of friendliness is caused by several factors, namely the mosque planning process that does not involve women, men dominating the mosque too much, and there is still a negative stigma towards women who do activities outside the home. To be able to realize a mosque as a public space that is friendly and accessible to all groups requires efforts from all parties.

Abstract

The maternal and child health program aims to improve the health status of mothers and children and reduce the maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR) through maternal and child health services. Antenatal Care (ANC) services carried out by health workers during pregnancy as an early prevention of risk factors that occur during pregnancy. Pregnant women who perform ANC to health facilities (puskesmas or sub-health centers) will receive information about the implementation of the class for pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between husband's support and mother's interest in attending a Pregnant Women Class in Banjarsawah Village. This study uses a correlational analysis design with a cross sectional approach. The sample data were all pregnant women who were recorded in January 2022 in the village of Banjar Sawah with a total of 34 samples that met the inclusion criteria with the total sampling technique. Data collection includes, coding, editing, and tabulating which then the data is analyzed by computer with the Spearman test p value: 0.05. The results showed that respondents had husbands with a less supportive category of 22 respondents (64.7%), respondents used attending classes for pregnant women with low interest categories by 13 respondents (38.2%) and p value: 0.000. The conclusion of the study is that there is a relationship between husband's support and mother's interest in attending a Pregnant Women Class in Banjarsawah Village (p = 0.000 <0.05). The suggestion put forward is that regional midwives, private practice midwives can work together across programs or sectors by involving religious leaders, community leaders to provide counseling or provide periodic and continuous education to the community about the importance of classes for pregnant women.

Abstract

Sufistic counseling is a process of assistance provided by the counselor to the counselee through the science of Sufism. Sufistic counseling is based on the basic values of Islamic teachings, namely the Koran and Hadith. The main goal that Sufism wants to realize is the presence of human beings. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of Sufistic counseling in minimizing the negative behavior of students at the Nurul Fata Bondowoso Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study type of research. The results of research regarding the implementation of Sufistic counseling at the Nurul Fata Islamic Boarding School through three stages. First, the counselor invites students who behave deviantly to the counseling room. Second, providing assistance through Sufistic counseling using the tazkiyah annafs technique. Third, the counselee is treated with tahajud prayers, dhikr, bathing at night, and continues with reading the history of salafunas sholihin. So in this way the Sufistic counseling process not only minimizes negative dhahiriyah behavior but also spiritually.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate various Arabic language teaching methods used in preparation for the Test of Arabic as a Foreign Language (TOAFL) exam. The various teaching methods evaluated in this study include communicative methods, audiolingual methods, use of technology, and task-based approaches. Each of these methods was analysed to see how well they assisted students in developing the skills necessary for success in the TOAFL exam. This research uses a literature study approach and critical analysis to assess the advantages and disadvantages of each method. The data used in this study were collected from various academic sources relevant to foreign language teaching, particularly Arabic. Using critical analysis, the researcher evaluated the effectiveness of each method in the context of learning Arabic for non-native speakers. The results of the analysis show that communicative methods provide effective results in improving speaking and listening skills. However, the success of this method is highly influenced by the active involvement of students and the ability of the teacher to create an interactive learning atmosphere. Meanwhile, the audiolingual method places a strong emphasis on mastering grammar and vocabulary, but has weaknesses in the context of its application to real communication. The use of technology in teaching allows for greater flexibility and accessibility, supports independent learning and provides access to a variety of learning materials. However, there are challenges related to limited access to technology and the need for personalisation of learning. Task-based approaches can increase motivation and language application skills in real-life situations, but require careful design and additional support from teachers. This research concludes that the integration of different teaching methods can create a more comprehensive learning experience. By utilising the advantages of each method, students can be optimally prepared for the TOAFL exam and develop Arabic language skills holistically.

Abstract

The Abbasid Caliphate was one of the largest dynasties in Islamic history, experiencing various political dynamics. The power centers of the Barmaki, Buwaihi, and Saljuqi families played a crucial role in maintaining the political stability of the Abbasid Caliphate. This study aims to analyze the influence and roles of these families on the political policies and governance of the Abbasids. The method used in this research is quantitative, analyzing secondary data from historical sources and related documents. The results indicate that the Barmaki family contributed to the Abbasid golden age through efficient administration, the Buwaihi family took control through military strength and significant political influence, while the Saljuqi family played a role in political stabilization and broader territorial control. These findings reveal that the roles of these three families were significant in shaping the political landscape of the Abbasid during various periods of its rule.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis minat belajar siswa SMA terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif yang berfokus pada populasi siswa SMA di Depok. Sampelnya berjumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrumen non-tes atau angket yang terdiri dari 18 item deskriptif yang berisi pernyataan baik pernyataan positif maupun pernyataan negatif. Instrumen ini disusun berlandaskan empat indikator yang mencerminkan minat siswa dalam belajar matematika. Teknik analisis data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan perhitungan presentase respon siswa yang selanjutnya dipaparkan berdasarkan kriteria interprestasi hasil respon siswa tersebut. Hasil analisis penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa minat belajar siswa dalam belajar  matematika didasari oleh rasa senang, minat, perhatian khusus, dan sikap keterlibatan dalam  setiap pembelajaran matematika, yaitu mereka lebih memberikan perhatian  khusus dalam pembelajaran matematika dilihat melalui beberapa indikator. Mayoritas siswa memiliki  minat  yang kuat terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Dan untuk indikator Memiliki keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran matematika hasil survei memperlihatkan bahwa 73% siswa memiliki keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Public economic policies play an important role in creating a conducive investment climate in developing countries. This study aims to analyze how fiscal, monetary, and public regulatory policies affect the attractiveness of investment, both domestic and foreign. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies and secondary data, this article examines various government policies, ranging from subsidies, fiscal incentives, infrastructure development, to regulatory reform. The results of the study indicate that macroeconomic stability, legal clarity, and bureaucratic efficiency are key factors in attracting investors. On the other hand, regulatory inconsistency and economic uncertainty have proven to be major obstacles. Therefore, the formulation of measurable and sustainable public economic policies is an absolute requirement in improving the investment climate in developing countries.
