Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam upaya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap materi Kaidah Pencacahan di SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Pada tahap Define, hasil wawancara dengan guru menunjukkan rendahnya pemahaman konsep dasar siswa dan minimalnya penerapan model PBL dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tahap Desain meliputi penyusunan perangkat ajar berupa skenario pembelajaran, LKPD, bahan ajar, dan evaluasi berbasis teknologi. Pada tahap Develop, dilakukan validasi ahli, uji praktis, dan uji efektivitas dengan hasil bahwa modul ajar tergolong layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Uji praktis menunjukkan respon positif dari siswa dan pengamat, sementara uji-t dan Chi-Square menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep siswa. Tahap Disseminate dilakukan melalui penyebarluasan produk digital untuk mendukung akses dan kolaborasi yang lebih luas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL secara sistematis dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, partisipasi aktif, dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran berbasis masalah relevan digunakan untuk menjawab tantangan pembelajaran abad 21 yang menekankan pada berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan kolaboratif.

Abstract

A student’s statistical reasoning ability is needed as a good and precise foundation, so that a teacher is demanded to use the proper methods to improve students’ statistical reasoning. This research aims to know the appropriate methods used to improve students’ statistical reasoning ability and the methods' steps. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is employed in three steps. The SLR stages are carried out in three stages, namely Planning the Review, Conducting the Review, Reporting and Disseminating. Article searching by using Harzing’s Publish or Perish Application and data analysis using atlas.ti with coding Histoorical Background, Context Solution, Research Questions or Objectives, Methodology, Conclusions, and Findings. The findings of statistical reasoning learning are Statistical Reasoning Learning Environment (SRLE), Experiential Learning, Blended Learning, 4MAT learning style system, and Brain-based Learning. Abstract

Integral calculus is an important course, but it often becomes a problematic phenomenon for students, even in collaborative learning settings. Various types of research have been conducted to examine this phenomenon, one of which is phenomenology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the experiences of students in collaborative integral calculus courses. The study involved two program chairs, two lecturers, and nineteen prospective mathematics teachers from programs in Indramayu and Mataram, Indonesia. The main instrument in this study was the researcher, supported by additional tools such as program observation sheets, lecturer interview guides, and student questionnaires. The research data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings revealed several challenges in the course, such as students' lack of readiness for online learning and visualization, the short duration of discussion videos that were not yet linked to real-world contexts, and unstable internet connections. Although the outcomes of collaborative learning have not surpassed those of conventional methods, there are several advantages, such as students being able to replay discussion videos and gain new peers. This study recommends that collaborative learning should utilize virtual reality based on ethnomathematics, increase the number of discussion videos, and strengthen students' prerequisite knowledge to better meet the needs in integral calculus courses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan desain pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peluang. Permasalahan utama adalah rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep dasar peluang akibat pendekatan pembelajaran yang masih konvensional, maka diperlukan desain pembelajaran yang layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan pada materi peluang. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar berbasis PBL perlu dibuat berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan dari hasil wawancara. Uji kelayakan menunjukkan nilai Chi-Square Test Asymp. Sig = 0,037 < 0,05, yang berarti modul layak digunakan. Uji kepraktisan menunjukkan respons positif dari siswa dan guru sebesar 87%, melebihi target KKTP 75%, sehingga modul dinyatakan praktis. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan nilai t-test Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti modul efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Modul disebarluaskan melalui media daring agar dapat digunakan oleh guru dan calon guru. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi solusi inovatif untuk pembelajaran matematika yang bermakna dan aplikatif.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' difficulties in understanding the concept of matrices, leading to the development of a learning design aimed at improving this understanding. The focus of this research was the development of a learning design for matrices using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The research method adopted was the 4D development model, which includes four important stages. The Define stage was conducted through interviews with mathematics teachers to analyze learning needs. The Design stage focused on designing PBL-based learning modules and supporting tools. The Develop stage involved a series of tests, including a feasibility test by experts, a practical test in the classroom, and an effectiveness test through a post-test to measure conceptual understanding. The final stage, Disseminate, was conducted by publishing the module online. The results of the study indicated that the developed learning module was deemed feasible for use (Sig. <0.05). Furthermore, the module proved practical, supported by 88% of students and 100% of observers, and significantly effective in improving students' conceptual understanding (Sig. <0.05). In conclusion, these findings confirm that implementing PBL in matrix learning can be a solution to address student learning difficulties, enabling deeper and more meaningful understanding. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep materi matriks, sehingga dikembangkan sebuah desain pembelajaran yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman tersebut. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pengembangan desain pembelajaran materi matriks dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Metode penelitian yang diadaptasi adalah model pengembangan 4D, yang mencakup empat tahapan penting. Tahap Define dilaksanakan melalui wawancara dengan guru matematika untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pembelajaran. Tahap Design berfokus pada perancangan modul ajar dan perangkat pendukung berbasis PBL. Tahap Develop melibatkan serangkaian pengujian, meliputi uji kelayakan oleh para pakar, uji kepraktisan di kelas, serta uji efektivitas melalui post-test untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep. Tahap akhir, Disseminate, dilakukan dengan mempublikasikan modul secara daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan utama bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan (Sig. < 0,05). Selain itu, modul terbukti praktis, didukung oleh 88% siswa dan 100% observer, serta efektif secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa (Sig. < 0,05). Kesimpulannya, temuan ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa penerapan PBL dalam pembelajaran matriks dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa, memungkinkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan bermakna.

Abstract

Background: Based on observations and interviews with teachers and grade XII students, it was found that students still have difficulty understanding mathematics. This is due to the lack of creativity of teachers in creating technology-based learning media. Method: This community service activity aims to provide solutions through simulations and focus group discussions (FGD) on the use of Android-based learning media. FGD participants consisted of 11 teachers and 3 prospective teachers from high schools and Islamic high schools in Indramayu. The activity was carried out through direct simulations and discussions, with data collection using questionnaires that were analyzed through the validity test of the Aiken and Atlas-ti indexes. Results: The results showed that Android media met the aspects of content quality, learning, and technical aspects with the category of "feasible" (average score of 3.454).  Conclusion: The application was declared feasible for use in learning, although it still needs further development according to participant input.

Abstract

Abstract High school students often experience low motivation and suboptimal achievement in mathematics learning, particularly in the topic of sequences and series. This condition underscores the need for instructional strategies that can enhance students’ engagement and conceptual understanding. This study aims to examine the effect of Gallery Walk–based cooperative learning on students’ learning motivation and achievement in mathematics among Grade X students at SMAN 1 Indramayu. The research employed Classroom Action Research, with students of class X–9 serving as the research subjects. Data were collected through motivation questionnaires, learning achievement tests, and classroom observations, and were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results indicate an improvement in students’ learning motivation, as reflected in increased participation, enthusiasm, and collaboration, as well as a significant improvement in learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II. These findings demonstrate that Gallery Walk–based cooperative learning is an effective pedagogical approach for fostering active learning environments and improving students’ understanding of mathematical concepts, thereby contributing to the enhancement of mathematics instruction at the secondary school level. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Gallery Walk, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes, Sequences and Series.   Abstrak Siswa sekolah menengah sering mengalami rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi barisan dan deret. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya strategi pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan siswa secara aktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Cooperative Learning berbasis Gallery Walk terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Indramayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek siswa kelas X-9. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan angket motivasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi yang ditandai dengan keterlibatan, antusiasme, dan kerja sama siswa, serta peningkatan hasil belajar secara signifikan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Metode ini membantu guru menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan membantu siswa memahami konsep matematika secara lebih mendalam. Kata Kunci: Cooperative Learning, Gallery Walk. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan android dengan aplikasi Google Classroom dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa pada materi trigonometri. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Sindang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI-5 MIPA yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes formatif yang diberikan setiap siklusnya yang bertujuan untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar materi persamaan trigonometri dan lembar observasi siswa yang bertujuan untuk mengukur keaktifan siswa. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya hasil belajar Trigonometri dan keaktifan siswa pada setiap siklusnya.
