Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Apersepsi Warmer terhadap hasil belajarmatematika siswa materi persamaan kuadrat. Penelitian ini merupakan Eksperimen yang dilakukandi SMA Negeri 1 Sindang Indramayu. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes evaluasi yangdilaksanakan setelah treatment. Sampel kelas diambil sebanyak dua kelas dengan menggunakanteknik cluster random sampling dengan cara diundi, setelah hasil pengundian didapat kelas X MIA3 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang pembelajaran menggunakan apersepsi warmer, dan kelas X MIA1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang pembelajarannya tidak menggunakan apersepsi warmer. Dari hasilpengolahan data diperoleh bahwa apersepsi warmer berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematikasiswa materi persamaan kuadrat.

Abstract

Literasi matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan penting pada abad 21. Pembelajaran matematika juga harus dapat mengembangkan kemampuan tersebut. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan Comic’s Mathematics Learning (CML). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancang pembelajaran matematika berbasis media komik yang dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan literasi matemati siswa pada materi eksponen. Desain penelitian yang dilakukan dalam menghasilkan rancangan Comic’s Mathematics Learning (CML) yakni menggunakan model pengembangan yang diadopsi dari Gall, Borg, & Gall. Fase untuk menghasilkan perancangan Comic’s Mathematics Learning (CML) terdiri dari : (1) Research and information collecting (pengumpulan data awal); (2) planning (perencanaan); (3) develop preliminary form of product (pengembangan awal); (4) preliminary field testing (uji validasi); (5) main product revision (revisi awal); (6) main field testing (uji coba skala terbatas). Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba skala terbatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa perancangan pembelajaran menggunakan komik matematika dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa pada materi eksponen. Sehingga memenuhi kriteria valid dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi persamaan trigonometri. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Sindang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lainteknik observasi dan tes. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI-2 MIPA yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Hasil pengolahan data hasil belajar yang diperoleh mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus dengan rata-rata pada siklus I 27,78%, siklus II 83,33%, siklus III 100%. Hasil uji efektivitas yang diperoleh pada siklus I to < t(0,05, 36) tidak efektif, tetapi pada siklus II dan siklus III to > t(0,05, 36) efektif. Sedangkan hasil pengolahan data keaktifan yang diperoleh mengalai peningkatan pada setiap siklus dengan rata-rata siklus I 69%, siklus II 86%, siklus III 92%. Kesimpulannya adalah model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) efektif untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar persamaan trigonometri.

artifacts, and so on. However, there still needs to be more emphasis on the connection between traditional boat building and mathematics. Therefore, this article aims to characterize the ethnomathematics connections built from the traditional Indramayu boat shape. Theoretically, this research is based on ethnomathematics, ethnomathematics connections, and Universal Activity. The research approach used is qualitative by using an ethnographic design. This article's research object is the form of traditional boats in Indramayu—the research data obtained from preliminary studies, observations, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with three people, namely two builders and crew members (Ship's Crew). Based on the results of the study, it was found that the ethnomathematics connection to traditional boats can be seen in the forms of boat buildings and the accessories that complement them, such as the lunas, haluan, lambung, kemudi, hatch, and storage area. Institutionalizing the parts of the boat can represent the concepts of plane and spatial geometry. Therefore, the implications of this article can enrich students' starting points for learning mathematics and facilitate students' understanding of abstract mathematics using the context of society's culture.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to develop a collaborative online learning design for integral calculus courses through lesson study activities. The study employed didactical design research as the research design. Participants in the research consisted of 19 students (aged 19–22 years, 18 women) from two private universities in Indonesia. The researcher served as the main instrument in the study, utilizing several additional instruments, such as collaborative online learning design, presentation slides, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The research revealed that collaborative online learning design through lesson study activities helped prospective mathematics teachers understand concepts related to integral calculus, especially definite integrals and the substitution method. This was because the collaborative online learning design used learning videos as a means for students to understand the concept of integral calculus. Apart from that, the collaborative online learning design also facilitated students’ understanding of this concept more deeply.

Abstract

The problems of students' low mathematical reasoning skills, gender differences, and the low motivation to learn mathematics  it is indeed a problem that occurred at the school after the observation was condusted , so a relevant learning approach is required. Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) is learning that connects mathematics with students realistic problems. This study aims to find out the differences and influence of the intersection of the use of RME on the mathematical reasoning ability of students based on gender differences and motivation. The research design used is experimental research. Data collection for the research was done using test instruments and lifts. The results showed that there were differences in mathematical reasoning skills between learning approaches and gender but not with student motivation, and there was an influence of interaction between study approaches, student motivations, and genders on students' ability to mathematically reason.The results showed that Fo (ABC) = 4,611 > Ftable = 4,040, or Ho is rejected, or there is an influence of the interaction factors learning approach, student learning motivation, and gender.

Abstract

The study aims to identify differences in problem-solving skills between students who have acquired the methodology of Problem Based Learning and Case Based Learning based on the level of initial mathematical skills. This research was carried out in MAN 1 Indramayu academic year 2023-2024. The research was conducted in two classes, X-4 and X-7. Instruments in this research there are two instruments namely instruments to measure the level of initial mathematical ability and instruments for measuring the ability to solve problems of students material opportunity. The analysis method in this study uses two-way/factor variance analysis (2x2) by level. Before doing the calculations using ANOVA two-way/factor, the author performed the normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and the homogeneity test with the bartlett test. Obtain the result that there is a difference in problem-solving skills based on the level of initial mathematical skills of students who acquire the Problem Based Learning method with Case Based Learning. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hambatan didaktik yang dilalui guru saat beradaptasi dengan teknologi pembelajaran, pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran, dan proses adaptasi guru matematika terhadap teknologi pembelajaran pasca pandemi covid-19. Adapun pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode fenomenologi. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu hambatan yang dilalui guru saat beradaptasi dengan teknologi diantaranya kurangnya respon positif dari siswa, perangkat elektronik yang kurang memadai, pemahaman siswa menurun, semangat siswa dan guru tidak seimbang, motivasi siswa kurang, penyimpanan telepon cepat penuh, sulit mengkondisikan kebiasaan pribadi, sulit mengkondisikan kebiasaan siswa, interaksi antara guru dan siswa terbatas, jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, siswa sulit mengembangkan diri, dan kuota internet terbatas. Pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran oleh guru matematika tingkat SMA di Kabupaten Indramayu sangat beragam yaitu Power Point, Quizizz, YouTube, WhatsApp, E-Learning, Zoom Meeting, Google Classroom, Google Formulir, Google Meeting. Proses guru beradaptasi dengan teknologi pembelajaran sangat beragam seperti melihat tutorial dari YouTube, melihat google, mengikuti webinar, mengikuti bimbingan teknis, sharing dengan partner, belajar otodidak, mendapatkan sosialisasi dari sekolah, mudah dalam beradaptasi, sulit untuk beradaptasi, sedikit bingung, repot diawal, memotivasi diri untuk bisa, harus melek teknologi, sudah siap sebelumnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan, kepraktisan, serta efektivitas modul ajar matematika berbasis Problem-Based Learning (PBL) pada materi peluang guna meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMK. Menggunakan pendekatan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), penelitian ini dimulai dengan analisis kebutuhan melalui wawancara dengan guru untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan dalam pembelajaran peluang. Tahap desain menghasilkan modul ajar yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan saintifik dan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Produk kemudian diuji melalui uji kelayakan (oleh pakar), uji kepraktisan (respon siswa dan observasi guru), dan uji efektivitas (melalui uji statistik). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar memenuhi kriteria layak, praktis, dan efektif dengan nilai signifikansi uji chi-square dan uji-t sebesar 0.000 ( 0.05). Modul ajar juga disebarluaskan melalui platform daring agar dapat diakses oleh pendidik lainnya. Dengan demikian, modul ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika berbasis kontekstual dan partisipatif.

Abstract

The low statistical reasoning ability of students and limited contextual learning media that are interesting and easy to understand are two of the weaknesses in learning statistics material. This study aims to examine students' statistical reasoning in the context of learning needs integrated with digital teaching materials, Statistics Comics. This study uses a case study approach involving high school students, teachers, and vice principals as subjects, as well as qualitative data analysis of the results of interviews with the three subjects. The results of the study, which were analyzed qualitatively with the help of Atlasti 8, showed that statistical reasoning learning requires a contextual and digital-based approach. This finding indicates that the development of digital teaching materials based on comics is needed as an innovative alternative in learning statistics that supports improving students' statistical literacy and reasoning in the digital era.
