Abstract

Trigonometri menjadi pokok bahasan esensial dari matematika, namun kenyataannya masih banyak siswa yang kesulitan dalam mempelajari Trigonometri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar matematika siswa pada materi trigonometri berdasarkan self-esteem dan gaya belajar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penetapan subjek penelitian dilakukan dengan memberikan angket self-esteem dan gaya belajar kepada siswa Kelas X-6 Program IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindang yang selanjutnya dari hasil tersebut dipilih secara purposive sampel 6 subjek berdasarkan kategori self esteem (tinggi, sedang, rendah) dan berdasarkan gaya belajar (visual, auditorial, kinestetik). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket self-esteem dan angket gaya belajar, tes diagnostik yang digunakan untuk mengukur kesulitan belajar trigonometri, dan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan siswa dengan self-esteem tinggi cenderung tidak mengalami kesulitan belajar, dimana siswa tersebut mengalami kesulitan belajar lebih sedikit dikarenakan siswa tersebut menunjukkan kepercayaan diri akan kemampuannya dalam menyelesaikan masalah trigonometri dengan baik dan menunjukkan kesugguhan dalam belajar sehingga lebih sedikit mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar. Namun, siswa yang memiliki self-esteem rendah, siswa tersebut tidak menunjukkan kepercayaan diri akan kemampuannya dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan trigonometri dan menganggap trigonometri sulit sehingga menemui kesulitan belajar yang lebih. Siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual, dengan mudah dapat memvisualisasikan gambar-gambar segitiga dan menghubungkan kedalam konsep trigonometri sehingga jauh lebih sedikit menemui kesulitan belajar. Sedangkan siswa berkategori gaya belajar auditorial dan kinestetik menemui kesulitan dalam memvisualisasikan gambar segitiga dan menghubungkan kedalam konsep trigonometri sehingga terlalu banyak menemui kesulitan dalam belajar.

Abstract

Many studies related to the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in the learning process. However, not many researchers have studied the effect of using AR on affective and cognitive aspects in terms of education level. To uncover this problem, the researcher uses a systematic literature review (SLR) design. In this study, the SLR stage consisted of four stages (1) problem formulation; (2) literature search; (3) identification of the type of research; (4) information retrieval. The findings of this study reveal that the use of AR technology has an effect on cognitive and affective aspects at the elementary and high school education levels. Middle school is the level of education that mostly applies AR technology. This study provides a recommendation that AR technology can be a medium for learning mathematics that can be applied by teachers and students at the primary and secondary education levels.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether students' engagement with trigonometry material may be increased through inquiry learning by solving Polya problems. The classroom action research approach is used in this study. 36 pupils from class X, MIPA 7, SMA 1, Indramayu, served as the subjects for this study. In this study, only two cycles are allowed. The findings from cycle I revealed that not all group members could effectively communicate with one another when trying to solve a problem. Another issue with the teacher is that he has not been able to manage his time well, which results in his spending a lot of time explaining the content. s a result, learning's primary objective—which requires pupils to be more engaged and solve their own problems—is not adequately achieved. However, it appears that the specified performance indicators have been met based on the findings of teacher and student observations made during the second cycle of action.Keywords:

Abstract

This research aims to determine differences in social arithmetic learning outcomes based on yells variations in the CRH method. This research uses quantitative research methods. Based on the results of the study, a significant average difference was obtained in class VII social arithmetic learning outcomes, so that the researchers conducted further tests with Scheffe and the results: between variations in the Dermayu yells and English did not have significant differences, but between yell-yell variations speak English and Indonesian and between the Dermayu and Indonesian chants are experiencing significant differences.

Abstract

The pandemic Covid-19 impacted the learning activity, especially Mathematics learning in trigonometry. Trigonometry is considered as challenging material. The teacher uses many ICT products to help the students understand the trigonometry material; Google Classroom, WhatsApp, and Youtube (GC+WAG+YT). However, the low student participation in those applications becomes a new challenge. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the learning outcome difference by combining Google Classroom, WhatsApp, and Youtube in learning trigonometry material. This study will focus on how the students participate actively in the learning process. This study employed an experimental design by taking the sample randomly. One class is given the treatment of combining the three applications; Google Classroom, WhatsApp, and Youtube. This study used a test as the instrument to collect the data. The data were then analyzed using U-Mann Whitney. This study reported that the students who participated actively showed better learning outcomes in trigonometry material than those who participated passively. Thus, the teacher is suggested to create a more effective and efficient learning outcome in any conditions, particularly during the Pandemic Covid-19.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hambatan didaktik yang dilalui guru saat beradaptasi dengan teknologi pembelajaran, pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran, dan proses adaptasi guru matematika terhadap teknologi pembelajaran pasca pandemi covid-19. Adapun pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode fenomenologi. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu hambatan yang dilalui guru saat beradaptasi dengan teknologi diantaranya kurangnya respon positif dari siswa, perangkat elektronik yang kurang memadai, pemahaman siswa menurun, semangat siswa dan guru tidak seimbang, motivasi siswa kurang, penyimpanan telepon cepat penuh, sulit mengkondisikan kebiasaan pribadi, sulit mengkondisikan kebiasaan siswa, interaksi antara guru dan siswa terbatas, jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, siswa sulit mengembangkan diri, dan kuota internet terbatas. Pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran oleh guru matematika tingkat SMA di Kabupaten Indramayu sangat beragam yaitu Power Point, Quizizz, YouTube, WhatsApp, E-Learning, Zoom Meeting, Google Classroom, Google Formulir, Google Meeting. Proses guru beradaptasi dengan teknologi pembelajaran sangat beragam seperti melihat tutorial dari YouTube, melihat google, mengikuti webinar, mengikuti bimbingan teknis, sharing dengan partner, belajar otodidak, mendapatkan sosialisasi dari sekolah, mudah dalam beradaptasi, sulit untuk beradaptasi, sedikit bingung, repot diawal, memotivasi diri untuk bisa, harus melek teknologi, sudah siap sebelumnya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' difficulties in solve trigonometry problem solving according Polya's steps. Determining research subjects by giving students difficulty test questions using Polya steps to 36 students of class X MIPA 8 SMAN 1 Indramayu. From these results, 6 subjects were selected purposively as a sample with subjects falling into the high, medium and low score categories. The instruments used were diagnostic tests of students' difficulties in solving trigonometric problems using Polya's problem solving and interviews. The data analyzing technic in the research started with collecting information in the fields, interviews, and documentations which are collected by coding. By considering into account the results obtained from this study, the difficulty of students in handling problem solving of trigonometry problems according to Polya's steps owned by students of class X MIPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Indramayu is able to solve a problem using Polya's steps. When students who have high test scores will have little difficulty learning because the subject can explain and solve problems well and there are no difficulties. While it is different when students who have low scores feel confused, difficult, wrong in solving a problem. In fact, in this study, the highest score and the lowest score both answered the questions correctly, the only difference was the student's accuracy and overestimation, causing the student to get a low score. The research results show that the students with high score category had less difficulty than students with low score categories. Therefore, teachers must be more careful in paying attention to students and teachers must also explain Polya's stages gradually without rushing. It is expected that students can understand Polya's stages as a whole so as to reduce student learning difficulties.

Abstract

Most of Students in High School are not mastering in Trigonometry subject. It is because the learning trigonometry arithmetic is new material on the curriculum in High school level and even just a little discussed in class IX of junior high school level. Then, in learning trigonometry the students are required to memorize a lot of formulas and should be able to use the formula quickly. The other subjects, such as mathematics, trigonometry material is structured and organized as well as, trigonometry subjects should also be understood from the basic framework. The basic of trigonometry is students must be able to determine the comparative value of trigonometry appropriately. One way to facilitate the students in order to determine easily the value of a special angle is using “the five finger technique” trigonometry. Through this technique, The writer is expected that students can easily remember and memorize the basic concept of determining the comparative value of trigonometry with special angle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran kartudomino untuk mencapai target hasil belajar materi trigonometri. Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar materi trigonometri siswaSMA Negeri 1 Sindang kelas X yang terbagi menjadi sepuluh kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil satukelas dengan cara simple random sampling yaitu kelas X-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yangpembelajarannya menggunakan media kartu domino. Dari hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan.Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji-t satu sampel dengan KKM 75% diperoleh thitung > ttabel,maka tolak H0 artinya terdapat penggunaan media pembelajaran kartu efektif untuk mencapai targethasil belajar materi trigonometri yang ditargetkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe ThinkTalk Write (TTW) untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi logaritma.Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1Sindang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain teknik observasi dan tes. Subjekdalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-8 MIPA yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini,untuk menganalisis data digunakan uji t satu sampel. Hasil pengolahan data hasil belajar diperolehrata-rata siklus I sebesar 78,73, siklus II 84,17 dan siklus III 86,80. Begitu juga dari peningkatanjumlah siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar yaitu dari siklus I sebanyak 18 dari 30 siswa atau60% dengan kriteria ketuntasan tinggi, siklus II 23 dari 30 siswa atau 76,67% kriteria ketuntasantinggi, dan siklus III 25 dari 30 siswa atau 83,33% termasuk kategori kriteria ketuntasan sangattinggi. Hasil uji efektivitas yang diperoleh pada siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III to > t(0,05, 30) efektif.Sedangkan hasil pengolahan data keaktifan yang diperoleh mengalami peningkatan pada setiapsiklus dengan rata-rata siklus I 46,67%, siklus II 73,33%, dan siklus III 90%.
