Abstract

ABSTRAK Hasil monitoring dan evaluasi proyek infrastruktur Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penatan Ruang Kabupaten Karangasem dengan dana pusat yang terikat aturan dan waktu tidak dapat mencapai progres sesuai ketentuan sehingga syarat untuk dapat dibayarkan tidak dapat dilaksanakan dan menjadi beban hutang pemerintah daerah. Perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap kinerja pengelolaan proyek untuk mengetahui penyebab permasalahan tersebut mulai dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pemeliharaan konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimalkan keterlambatan, menjaga mutu proyek konstruksi dan merumuskan strategi untuk meningkatkan kinerja pengelolaan proyek konstruksi pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kabupaten Karangasem. Metode pengumpulan data mencakup metode survey, wawancara dan FGD dengan pengumpulan data tahap pertama diperoleh melalui kuesioner indikator kinerja pengelolaan dengan sampel data diambil secara purposive sampling mencakup para PPK, PPTK, Pengawas lapangan, konsultan perencana dan pengawas. Perumusan strategi dilakukan melalui Focus Group Discussion dan in-depth interview untuk menunjang analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kendala yang mempengaruhi kinerja pengelolaan proyek meliputi perubahan aturan, terbatasnya kemampuan tim teknis dalam pengendalian proyek, kurangnya koordinasi dan pemahaman terhadap aturan pelaksanaan yang terikat aturan dan waktu serta terbatasnya jumlah SDM teknis dengan kualifikasi memadai untuk pengelolaan proyek. Hasil analisis SWOT diperoleh pencapaian peningkatan kinerja berada pada Kuadran I yang artinya organisasi memiliki situasi yang sangat menguntungkan dengan potensi kekuatan pengelolaan dan memanfaatkan peluang untuk mendukung pencapaian kinerja yang lebih baik. Berdasarkan matrik SWOT diperoleh strategi berdasarkan peta kekuatan yaitu organisasi memfasilitasi pengoperasian sistem informasi data monitoring ke-PU-an sebagai alat pengendali dan mengontrol kegiatan pengelolaan dari proses perencanaan, pengadaan dan pelaksanaan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of various concentrations of zeolite as a buider agent in liquid detergent. Zeolite was synthesized from rice husk ash using solution to gel (sol-gel) method, followed by hydrothermal and then characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). The synthesized zeolite was then formulated into liquid detergent with sodium lauryl sulfate, glycerin, citric acid, colouring agent, parfume, and three concentrations of zeolite, i.e.: 15% (F1), 20% (F2), and 25% (F3). Liquid detergent was prepared by mixing process using stirrer. The characterizations of liquid detergents were including pH, viscosity, specific gravity, foaming power, foam stability, and detergency power. The XRD showed that the zeolite was type-A zeolite. Moreover, the characterization showed that zeolite with varying concentrations tend to influence in pH, viscosity, and detergency power but relatively similar in specific gravity, foaming power, and foam stability. The result indicated that the detergents with zeolite have better cleaning ability than the control (without builder) and the comparator detergents (with STPP builder). The higher the concentration of zeolite, the higher the detergency power. Therefore, F3 was recommended as formula of detergent with the best detergency power.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang penyerapan logam Pb menggunakan biji asam sebagai adsorbat telah dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah aktivasi karbon dengan H3PO4 sebagai aktivator. Hal itu dilakukan dengan menerapkan 5 variasi berat ( 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5 g) dan konsentrasi (1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5 N ). Untuk melihat penyerapani Pb terhadap waktu kontak, maka 5 variasi waktu kontak telah diterapkan yaitu dari 10, 20, 30, 40, dan 50 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karbon aktif mempunyai kapasitas adsorpsi terbaik (89,59 ppm) pada berat 5 gram , sementara waktu kontak optimum dicapai pada 50 menit dengan 69,02 ppm dari Pb yang terserap. Aktivasi karbon aktif dengan H3PO4 pada konsentrasi optimum  2 N telah meningkatkan kapasitas adsorpsi sebesar 11,11%.                                            Katakunci : Absorben, Biji Asam Jawa, Karbon Aktif.

Abstract

ABSTRACTResearch utilization of mangrove snail chitosan conech shell (Telescopium sp) as a binding metal ions of lead (Pb) in solution. This study aims to determine the best time of the metal ion absorption of lead (Pb) by a conch shell chitosan mangrove (Telescopium sp) with the remains of 150 rpm shaking method. This research was conducted by completely randomized design (CRD) and 4 variations of shaking time is 50, 55, 60 and 65 minutes. Each treatment was repeated three times. The results obtained are binding Pb (II) by the highest chitosan during 65 minutes agitation is 98.27%. Key words: Chitosan, absorption, lead

Abstract

A research on the retention of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) on theprocessing and storage of functional tortillas.This study aims to determine the retention of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)flour tortillas catfish during processing and storage at room temperature.The research method includes the step of making flour catfish, processing tortillas and tortilla storage at room temperature.Analysis eicosapentaenoic acid in the tortilla is done every 7 days for 56 days using Gas Chromatography.The Results obtained indicated eikosa penta enoic acid were demaged during processing tortillas with the level of demage 9,17%. Tortillas storage at room temperature for 56 days lead to demage 31,97% EPA.Keywords: Eicosapentaenoic Acid, Retention, Tortilla

Abstract

Research using active charcoal leather peanut (Arachis hypogaea) as adsorbent in carotene production of crude palm oil olein fraction has conducted. This study aims to determine the ratio between active charcoal and olein that can produce the highest carotene shake time for 3 hours. Carotene analysis was conducted using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The study design is applied is completely randomized design (CRD), with 5 variations adsorbent ratio is 1: 5; 1,5: 5; 2: 5; 2,5: 5; 3: 5 w/v and each stage is repeated twice. Results of this research showed that the ratio of peanut skin adsorbent 2: 5 w/v have the best adsorption weighing carotene obtained at 0,72 mg and percent absorption by the adsorbent reaches 97,3%.Keywords: Peanut Leather, Adsorbents, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, Carotene.

Abstract

This study was done for the following purposes: to found solution pH as an extract to result from an extract color substance with high concentration to found time of extraction which result extract with high concentration. Determination of the best eluent which can be used in the separation of pigmented compound from the extract, by using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and determination of spectrum for each functional molecule. This study was done by a maceration-extraction method, determination of pH using phosphate buffer pH 5-6 and time of extraction during 1-4 hour, separation based on TLC and analysis FTIR spectrums. The result showed that ethanol extract of Eucheuma cottonii was contained the ficoeritrine compound. This extract has appeared brown yellow in acid solution and base solution with high absorbance at pH 9 and time extraction at 1 hour. Maximum absorbance from the extract was 330 nm and the best eluent in separation of this chemical by TLC preparation, it was mixture of Chloroform-Acetic Acid-Ethanol in composition of 30 : 15 : 2 (v/v/v), which indicating there were at least four compounds within the extract, two of these were coloring brown yellow and other two were colorless and it was free hydroxyl function and bind in hydrogen bound, also C=O function.Key words: Extraction, Eucheuma cottonii, buffer phospat, TLC.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kapasitas adsorpsi arang aktif kulit kopi yang digunakan sebagai adsorben ion Pb (II) pada waktu kontak dan pH maksimum. Metodologi penelitian meliputi proses penyiapan bahan arang aktif, penyerapan dan pengujian. Preparasi arang aktif kulit kopi dilakukan dengan cara karbonisasi pada suhu 400oC selama 2 jam. Aktivasi arang dilakukan dengan larutan ZnCl2 10% selama 24 jam. Proses penyerapan dilakukan dengan variasi waktu kontak dan variasi pH. Waktu kontak yang terapkan yaitu 30, 60, 90, 120, dan 150 menit dan pada pH yaitu 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya serap iod pada arang kulit kopi yang diaktivasi ZnCl2 10% sebesar 760,32 mg/g. Waktu maksimum penyerapan ion Pb (II) yang diperoleh pada waktu 90 menit yang dihasilkan sebesar 89,69%. Sedangkan pada pH maksimum penyerapan ion Pb (II) yaitu pada pH 4 dengan penyerapan sebesar 98,58%. Kapasitas adsorpsi yang diperoleh pada waktu dan pH maximum sebesar 4,48 mg/g dan 4,93 mg/g.Kata Kunci : Kapasitas adsorpsi, Kulit kopi, Pb2+.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penggunaan ekstrak enzim invertase amobil dari ragi roti dalam pembuatan sirup gula invert dari nira kelapa. Tujuannya adalah untuk menentukan waktu hidrolisis terbaik untuk menghasilkan gula invert menggunakan ekstrak enzim invertase amobil dan efektivitas penggunaan ulang enzim amobil. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan parameter uji variasi waktu hidrolisis yaitu 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 jam dan efektivitas penggunaan ulang enzim amobil. Gula invert yang diperoleh ditentukan dengan metode Dinitrosalisilat (DNS) pada panjang gelombang 540nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu hidrolisis terbaik menghasilkan gula invert adalah 12 jam dengan konsentrasi 116.808 mg/L dan efektivitas penggunaan ulang enzim amobil yang diperoleh sebanyak 3 kali pengulangan dengan penurunan aktivitas enzim sebesar 54,93% .Kata kunci: Nira Kelapa, Enzim Invertase, Amobilisasi Enzim, Gula Invert

Abstract

The investigation about the determination of the expired time of lycopene made from tomato (Lycopersicum pyriform) which was mixed with maltodextrin in capsule packaged has been done. The aim of the research is to determine the ratio of lycopene extract to maltodextrin for yielding lycopene with the highest purity degree and to determine the expired time. The applied ratio of lycopene to maltodextrin were 5:10, 7.5:10, 10:10, 10:7.5, 10:5 (w/w). Those samples were stored at room temperature for 10 weeks. Spektrofotometri UV-VIS was used to analyze the samples. The results showed that the highest purity degree was reached at the ratio of 10:10 (39.56%). The best expired time at the ratio of 5:10 was reached at 12.93 weeks.Keywords: Tomato, lycopene, lycopene mixed maltodextrin, purity degree, expired
