Abstract

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effects of Virtual Training, Job Autonomy, Employee Engagement, Innovation Culture, and Work Well-being on Employee Performance in hybrid work settings in Indonesia. Research Methodology: This research adopts a quantitative explanatory design using a cross-sectional survey of 150 hybrid employees across multiple industries. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 to test the structural relationships among variables. Results: The findings revealed that only Innovation Culture had a significant effect on Employee Performance, but in a negative direction (? = ?0.204; p = 0.009). Virtual Training, Job Autonomy, Employee Engagement, and Work Well-being do not show direct significant effects. The model explains 6.5% of the variance in Employee Performance, indicating weak direct explanatory power and suggesting the presence of indirect or contextual influences. Conclusions: Employee performance in hybrid work is influenced more by dynamic organizational contexts than by the direct effects of training, autonomy, engagement, or well-being. Innovation culture may temporarily reduce short-term performance owing to adjustment and experimentation demands. Limitations: This study had a cross-sectional design, relied on self-reported data, and focused on the Indonesian context, limiting causal interpretation and generalizability. Contributions: This study extends the Job Demands–resources framework by revealing the nonlinear role of innovation culture in hybrid work and provides empirical evidence from an emerging economy context.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid development of digital marketplaces has transformed consumer behavior in searching for information, evaluating brands, and purchasing halal products. In digital commerce, brand identity that reflects Islamic values is no longer the sole factor influencing purchase intention. Consumers’ experiences when interacting with digital platforms have become increasingly important in shaping trust and purchasing decisions. This study aimed to examine the effects of Islamic Branding and Digital Customer Experience on Purchase Intention in halal marketplaces, with Consumer Trust as a mediating variable. The study employed a quantitative survey approach involving Muslim consumers in Indonesia who had used digital marketplaces to search for or purchase halal products. The proposed data analysis method was Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Islamic Branding represented brand identity associated with Islamic values, halal compliance, ethical practices, and brand credibility. Digital Customer Experience represented consumers’ cognitive, emotional, social, and functional experiences during interactions with digital marketplaces. Consumer Trust reflected consumers’ confidence in brands, sellers, product information, and transaction security, while Purchase Intention represented consumers’ willingness to purchase halal products through digital marketplaces. This study contributed to the literature by integrating Islamic Branding and Digital Customer Experience to explain purchase intention in halal marketplaces, with Consumer Trust positioned as a mediating mechanism. The proposed model was expected to provide theoretical contributions to Islamic marketing and digital customer experience research, as well as practical implications for halal businesses and marketplace providers in developing trustworthy, user-oriented, and Islamic value-based digital commerce ecosystems.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a national policy aimed at improving the nutritional quality of the community, reducing stunting, and supporting human resource development towards Golden Indonesia 2045. However, the success of this program depends not only on the funding and distribution aspects, but also on the management of human resources (HR) involved in it. This study aims to develop a HR management model for the MBG Program based on the principles of Fiqh Muamalah. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data were collected through a review of regulations, scientific literature, and policy documents related to the MBG, then analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify, classify, and interpret patterns of meaning related to the principles of Fiqh Muamalah in HR management. The results of the study indicate that the principles of trustworthiness, justice (ʿadl), transparency (syafafiyah), professionalism (itqān), and benefit (maṣlaḥah) can be used as the basis for HR management in the MBG program. The resulting model encompasses five main components: competency- and integrity-based recruitment, sustainable human resource development, a fair compensation system, Sharia-compliant accountability oversight, and welfare-oriented performance evaluation. This model is expected to strengthen the effectiveness of MBG implementation while improving the quality of public governance based on Islamic values.
