Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar pada materi pecahan adalah kesulitan siswa memahami konsep yang abstrak. Siswa memerlukan bantuan media konkret sebagai perantara atau visualisasinya. Media PhET Simulations dapat membantu siswa dalam memvisualisasikan materi pecahan yang bersifat abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan implementasi, respon siswa, dan pengaruh penggunaan media PhET pada materi pecahan di kelas IV SD/MI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Belitung Selatan 7, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik oversampling, dengan masing-masing 20 sampel dari kelas IV A (kontrol) dan IV B (eksperimen). Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes (pre-test dan post-test) serta non-tes (angket). Analisis data menggunakan uji t dan uji N-Gain untuk data tes, dan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk data non-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Implementasi penggunaan media PhET melibatkan persiapan media dan tujuan pembelajaran, pengenalan media, orientasi masalah, organisasi belajar, pengerjaan LKPD secara berkelompok berpanduan simulasi PhET, diskusi dan presentasi, serta refleksi dan evaluasi. (2) respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media PhET termasuk dalam kategori “Baik”, (3) penggunaan media PhET Simulations memiliki pengaruh, yakni dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi pecahan di kelas IV SDN Belitung Selatan 7 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

The lack of utilization of resources is the main factor for the low level of student learning independence, yet in reality, teachers still struggle to connect chemical concepts with everyday life contexts. The SETS approach-based e-module is an innovation in enhancing students' learning independence and learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of the developed chemistry learning module. This research and development was carried out to produce an e-module product based on the SETS approach assisted by flip HTML5 on chemical equilibrium material that is valid, practical, and effective in increasing independent learning and student knowledge learning outcomes. The development model used is a 4D model which consists of 4 phases, 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Development, and 4) Disseminate. The purposive sampling technique was used as a sampling technique, namely students of class XI MIPA 1 at SMAN 10 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques included questionnaires (validation sheets, product practicality, product effectiveness) and learning achievement tests. The results showed that the e-module: (1) is very valid with an average percentage of 90.98%, (2) is very practical, based on readability tests, response questionnaires, and observation sheets with an average score of 4.34, and (3) is effective in increasing learning independence and knowledge learning outcomes in terms of the N-gain learning independence of 0.45 in the medium category and the N-gain of knowledge learning outcomes of 0.71 in the high category. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that e-modules based on the SETS approach assisted by HTML5 flip media are appropriate for use in chemistry learning, especially in chemical equilibrium material.

Abstract

Sejarah kota Balikpapan tidak bisa dipisahkan dengan pertambangan minyak, sehingga sampai saat ini Balikpapan disebut sebagai Oil City atau Kota Minyak.Masuknya perusahaan-perusahaan minyak di Balikpapan mendorong terjadinya migrasi tenaga-tenaga kerja dari luar Balikpapan untuk merantau dan datang bekerja di Balikpapan sehingga menyebabkan penduduk di kota Balikpapan memiliki keanekaragaman budaya dan menciptakan lingkungan yang multicultural. Lingkungan yang multikultural memiliki dampak positif dan negatif terhadap kebudayaan lokal dan penduduk asli di kota Balikpapan salah satu dampak positif yang dirasakan oleh anak usia dini yang tinggal dilingkungan Balikpapan adalah, terbiasa meneriman berbagai perbedaan, dan memiliki pengetahuan yang luas mengenai berbagai kebudayaan yang ada di Indonesia " Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas lagu dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan anak-anak tentang karakteristik kota Balikpapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sampel 20 anak. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner pre-intervensi dan post-intervensi, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan anak-anak setelah intervensi, dimana skor  rata-rata pengetahuan  awal 32.14% - 50.00%. setelah dilakukan intervensi menjadi 46.43% - 89.29%. Anak-anak menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang karakteristik kota, serta partisipasi aktif dan antusiasme dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah lagu "Balikpapan Kota Beriman" efektif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mengenalkan karakteristik kota Balikpapan kepada anak usia dini. Saran yang diberikan mencakup perlunya studi lebih lanjut dengan sampel yang lebih besar dan evaluasi jangka panjang, serta implementasi metode ini di sekolah-sekolah lain untuk mengeksplorasi potensi penggunaan lagu dalam konteks pembelajaran yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Kajian mengenai pemikiran Fathimah Al-Banjari sejauh ini hanya membahas mengenai corak pemikiran tauhid dan fiqih, belum terdapat kajian mengenai pemikiran Fathimah terhadap pendidikan Islam bagi perempuan. Pemikiran Fathimah dapat dianalisis untuk memecahkan permasalahan dilematik kaum perempuan dalam mengambil peran di tengah era disrupsi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis library research dengan menggunakan pendekatan sejarah. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi tokoh untuk memahami pemikiran yang kemudian dikaji untuk menemukan relevansi dengan konteks peran perempuan di era disrupsi digital. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tiga pemikiran Fathimah, yaitu pentingnya keseimbangan peran perempuan untuk aktualisasi diri, pentingnya ketersediaan wadah khusus bagi perempuan, serta perlunya pemantapan peran perempuan dalam beragama untuk menunjang kehidupan sehari-hari.  Peran perempuan di era disrupsi digital diantaranya membekali diri dengan pengetahuan STEM, mengaktualisasikan diri melalui wadah khusus perempuan, serta melanjutkan tradisi intelektual islam di bidang ilmiah riset.

Abstract

This community service program carries the theme "Early Childhood Massage Training for Parents and Early Childhood Educators" with the aim of enhancing the understanding and skills of parents and teachers in providing positive touch through massage techniques for young children. The training is designed to provide practical guidance, addressing key aspects such as understanding the concept of early childhood massage, applying appropriate massage techniques, and the importance of positive touch interactions in the educational environment.Through implementation methods involving practical demonstrations and interactive discussions, participants are expected to integrate these massage skills into children's daily care routines. Monitoring and evaluation will be conducted to assess changes in participants' knowledge and practices, as well as the impact on early childhood development.The expected outcomes include improved massage skills among participants, strengthened emotional bonds between parents and children, enhanced development across six aspects of early childhood growth, and the creation of an educational environment that supports children's optimal development. Dissemination of the training results is expected to contribute positively to supporting early childhood well-being and raising public awareness of the importance of positive touch in shaping character and promoting the growth and development of young children.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the types of data used in quantitative research methods, including correlational, comparative, and experimental approaches, as well as their relevance in scientific analysis. The quantitative approach, which is based on numerical data, enables hypothesis testing and result generalization through statistical applications. This paper discusses the primary characteristics of nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio data, along with their application in each research method. Correlational research identifies relationships between variables, comparative research examines differences among groups, and experimental research tests causal relationships through the manipulation of independent variables. The findings highlight the importance of selecting appropriate data types and research methods to ensure the validity of results. Quantitative research proves to be an effective tool in supporting decision-making and advancing scientific knowledge across various fields.

Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 presents a change in learning approaches by integrating technology to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of learning. In the context of Islamic education, relevant and innovative learning resources can provide wider access to knowledge and facilitate a more interactive and engaging learning process. The use of information technology, especially through the internet, is becoming an important means of accessing information and learning resources related to Islam. In addition, a good Islamic educational environment also plays an important role in improving the learning process. A conducive, inclusive, and Islamic values-based educational environment can create a positive atmosphere and facilitate holistic student growth. This research uses the method of literature study to collect and analyze relevant information from various theoretical and practical sources related to the topic covered. The results show that the use of technology in Islamic education in the Era of Society 5.0 can provide significant benefits, but also raises challenges that need to be overcome. Keyword: Influence, Learning, Progress of Society 5.0. Era Society 5.0 menghadirkan perubahan dalam pendekatan pembelajaran dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas, efektivitas, dan efisiensi pembelajaran. Dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, sumber belajar yang relevan dan inovatif dapat memberikan akses yang lebih luas ke pengetahuan dan memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menarik. Penggunaan teknologi informasi, terutama melalui internet, menjadi sarana penting dalam mengakses informasi dan sumber daya pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan Islam. Selain itu, lingkungan pendidikan Islam yang baik juga memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran. Lingkungan pendidikan yang kondusif, inklusif, dan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dapat menciptakan suasana yang positif dan memfasilitasi pertumbuhan siswa yang holistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis informasi yang relevan dari berbagai sumber teoritis dan praktis yang berkaitan dengan topik yang dibahas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan Islam di Era Society 5.0 dapat memberikan manfaat yang signifikan, namun juga memunculkan tantangan yang perlu diatasi. Kata Kunci: Kemajuan Society 5.0, Pembelajaran, Pengaruh.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of women ulama in South Kalimantan in advancing Islamic education through pesantren leadership, inclusive educational approaches, and adaptation of digital technology in da'wah. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study type to explore the real-life context of women's leadership in Islamic education. The primary data was obtained from 25 female ulama. Data collection techniques included semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis of da'wah content disseminated through social media. To ensure the validity of the data, triangulation was applied by comparing the findings from different data sources and techniques. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, involving data reduction, categorization, and theme identification to reveal patterns related to the roles and contributions of women ulama. The results showed that female ulama in this region can manage pesantren with an inclusive and collaborative leadership style, thus creating an empathetic and friendly educational environment for both female and male Santri. In addition, the inclusive approach to education allows female ulama to accommodate the specific needs of female congregants through discussions on relevant issues, such as family education, health, and women's rights in Islam. Other findings show that female ulama has successfully utilized digital technologies, such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Live, to spread da'wah to a broader and cross-generational audience, especially those familiar with the technology. This adaptation allows them to deliver religious messages that are relevant and accessible, thus strengthening women's participation in religious discussions in the digital era. Overall, this study shows that women ulama in South Kalimantan play an important role in Islamic education responsive to the congregation's needs, whether through leadership in pesantren, gender-sensitive education, or digital adaptation in da'wah. The results of this study provide a new perspective on the importance of the role of women ulama in strengthening Islamic education that is inclusive and adaptive to the times.

Abstract

As a new payment instrument, electronic money usage is increasing yearly. This can be seen from the increasing volume and nominal transactions. This study aims to see whether electronic money transactions affect the effectiveness of monetary policy in Indonesia, as seen from economic growth, inflation, interest rates, and money supply. The analytical method used is the Vector Autoregression/ Vector Error Correction Model (VAR/ VECM), using secondary time series data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia, observation period 2010M1 to 2021M12. The results show that there is a long-term relationship between the electronic money variable and the monetary policy variable in the VAR model, so the model shifted to VECM. Second, this study finds that an increase in the volume of electronic money transactions positively affects the effectiveness of monetary policy in the long run. Meanwhile, in the long run, an increase in the nominal of electronic money transactions has a varying impact on monetary policy indicators.

Abstract

This paper explores the difficulties in learning Arabic based on the students' backgrounds, along with various solutions that can maximize the effectiveness of Arabic Language Education for students. This research conveys a descriptive approach with a field study. It is a simple quantitative and qualitative descriptive study, providing a narrative description of the situation. Data was collected through interviews with 25 Arabic Program (PBA) students, PBA lecturers, and The Arabic Language Student Association (HMP PBA) activists. The data analysis model used in this research follows the model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The result shows that each student in the PBA study program faces difficulties in Arabic language skills and components according to their educational background. Students from modern pesantren backgrounds do not experience many language difficulties. The most significant difficulty for students is kalam skills. The factors influencing language difficulties include interest, educational background, teaching and methodological aspects, environment, student activities, and psychological and economic factors. The efforts made by the study program to strengthen students' language skills are still limited, consisting mainly of additional activities such as kalam and qiraah practice. HMP Bahasa Arab also organizes language communities, such as language workshops (daurah lughah) and competitions related to Arabic language proficiency. However, these activities are only attended by some students who are already relatively proficient in the language.
