Abstract

The problem in this study is the under ring shooting ability possessed by the extracurricular basketball participants of SMAN 2 Tebo which is still low. This study aims to see the relationship between eye-hand coordination and explosive power of leg muscles to the ability to shoot under the basketball hoop. This type of research is correlational with two free variables. the sample in this study was all participants in basketball extracurricular activities totaling 34 people. The instruments used are vertical jump, tennis ball catch throw and shooting under ring. The data in this study were analyzed using simple correlation and double correlation. The results are as follows: (1) There is a relationship of eye-hand coordination to the shooting under ring ability of  basketball  players with a calculated r value of  0.439 > rtable 0.344, (2) There is a relationship of the explosive power of the leg muscles to the shooting ability of the under hoop of  basketball  players with a calculated r value of  0.402 > rtable  0.344, (3) There is a relationship between eye-hand coordination and explosive power of limb muscles simultaneously to the shooting under hoop ability of  basketball players with a calculated rvalue of  0.518 > rtable 0.344 and with acalculated F value  of 5.69 > Ftable 3.30.

Abstract

This study aimedat observing the effect of eksploration style and command styletoward volleyball basic skills achievement.  Type of the research wasquasi-experimental(Quasy experiment). The population of this study are high school students of Bukit Barisan class X and XI who follow extracurricular activities of volleyball at least eighty student, while the sample in this study is 20 male students using total sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a basic bolavoli skill test. Data were analyzed by using t-test (dependent sample and Independent sample) The results ofdata analysisshow that:(1) There are influences eksploration style which significantly to the volleyball basic skills in Students Senior High School Bukit Barisan  be obtained the value of t count = 5,61 > t table = 2,26, (2) There are influences command style which significantly to the volleyball basic skills in Students Senior High School Bukit Barisan be obtained the value of t count = 5,93 > t table = 2,26,(3) Eksploration style is more better than series of command style to the volleyball basic skills in Students Senior High School Bukit Barisan be obtained the value of t count = 1,99 > t table = 1,76. The usage exploration method is better than command methode.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence possessed by students of the Department of Sports Education, Padang State University after Covid-19 hit Indonesia. Emotional intelligence or emotional quotient refers to abilitiesrecognizeown feelings and the feelings of others. This type of research was a quantitative descriptive involving 183 male students (124) and female students (59) who were still actively enrolled until the research was carried out using the accidental sampling technique. Data was collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed with the Google form. The results of the study provide information that the level of emotional intelligence possessed by students is on average in the "Good" classification with a Respondent Achievement Level (TCR) value of 77.24%.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that out of 164 students, only 74 (45%) students are focused and enthusiastic during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional status of students at 31 Elementary School Pasar Ambacang Padang City. This research is descriptive research. The population in this study were all students at 31 Pasar Ambacang Elementary School, Padang City, amounting to 164 people. Sampling using proportional stratified random sampling technique, that is, the number of samples obtained is 50 people. To determine the nutritional status of students using the formula BMI = BW/TB2 and for data analysis techniques, namely descriptive analysis P = f/n x 100%. The results showed that the nutritional status of all students, from the discussion, it can be concluded that the nutritional status of 31 Ambacang Elementary School students in Padang City is in the normal category with a percentage of 56%, lean 36%, and fat 8%.

Abstract

Fenomena yang ditemukan pada remaja Mentawai di Panti Asuhan yang mengalami kesulitan untuk mengembangkan bakat, minat, skill. Hal ini cenderung disebabkan karena rendahnya self-esteem yang mengakibatkan mereka sikap negatif. Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan self-esteem remaja Mentawai sebelum dan sesudah diberikan teknik Cognitive Behavorial Theraphy (CBT). Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif-eksperimen dengan pendekatan one-group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian berlokasi di Panti Asuhan Al-Falah Kota Padang. Subjek penelitian adalah remaja yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data menggunakan wilcoxon signed rank test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan skor pretest dan posttest self-esteem remaja setelah diberikan teknik CBT. Dalam hal ini teknik CBT efektif meningkatkan self-esteem remaja Mentawai di Panti Asuhan Al-Falah Kota Padang. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian ini adalah konselor, pengurus panti dan Dinas Sosial dapat merumuskan program konseling untuk meningkatkan keyakinan rasional dan self-esteem remaja dalam aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan materi ajar digital menggunakan Canva merupakan solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran daring di kalangan dosen. Permasalahan umum yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan kemampuan teknis dosen dalam mendesain materi yang menarik dan interaktif, yang berpengaruh pada keterlibatan mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 22 peserta dari berbagai institusi dan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom. Metode pelatihan mencakup demonstrasi, latihan mandiri, dan diskusi interaktif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan peserta, di mana mayoritas peserta berhasil membuat materi ajar digital yang relevan. Pelatihan ini juga meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta dalam memanfaatkan Canva untuk pembelajaran. Dengan hasil yang positif, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat diadaptasi secara lebih luas untuk mendukung transformasi digital dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani terhadap pengembangan kompetensi motorik peserta didik melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah seperti artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional yang relevan, terbit antara tahun 2018–2024. Fokus utama penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi model pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik siswa di berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Hasil telaah dari sembilan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang bersifat aktif, kolaboratif, dan berbasis aktivitas fisik memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan motorik, koordinasi, dan keseimbangan siswa. Pendekatan pembelajaran seperti project-based learning, pembelajaran berbasis permainan, pembelajaran kooperatif, serta pendekatan taktis dan inovatif terbukti mampu menumbuhkan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran jasmani. Selain itu, intensitas partisipasi fisik siswa dan peran guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan turut memengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang dirancang dengan metode kreatif dan kontekstual dapat berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap pengembangan kompetensi motorik. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap adanya research gap, yaitu masih terbatasnya penelitian yang mengevaluasi efektivitas berbagai model pembelajaran jasmani lintas jenjang secara longitudinal, serta kurangnya integrasi teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran PJOK. Oleh karena itu, penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengembangkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang adaptif, berbasis teknologi, dan terintegrasi dengan kebutuhan peserta didik masa kini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in coordination skills of children who live in urban and rural areas. This study used a cross-sectional design, and the research subjects were elementary school students aged between 7 - 9 years (N=640; male=320 and female=320) spread across urban and rural areas in West Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Samples were collected through a purposive sampling technique. Coordination data were measured using the Körperkoordinations Test für Kinder (KTK): balance beam, moving sideways, jumping sideways and eye-hand coordination. The data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS statistical program version 25. The analysis results revealed that Urban students had a superior motor coordination average score compared to rural students. Based on the t-test, there was a significant difference in general coordination abilities between urban and rural students (p value< 0.05). The motor coordination skills of students in urban settings are superior to those of students in rural settings, both male and female. It is believed that by having adequate facilities and equipment, schools in Urban have more opportunities to practice coordination both structured and independently. It is recommended to optimize movement coordination training for students in a structured manner in physical education and extracurricular learning at school.
