Abstract

AbstrakKecamatan Muara Gembong yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Bekasi merupakan salah satu daerah yang terkena dampak abrasi. Terdapat tiga desa yang terancam hilang oleh abrasi yaitu Desa Pantai Bahagia, Pantai Mekar dan Pantai Bakti. Abrasi yang terjadi di Muara Gembong juga diakibatkan oleh konversi hutan mangrove menjadi tambak oleh nelayan sekitar. Potensi bahaya yang terdapat di Kecamatan Muara Gembong tidak hanya dari abrasi, tetapi juga limpasan air dari hulu, karena daerah tersebut merupakan muara Sungai Citarum. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kegiatan penyuluhan mengenai green belt dan penanaman mangrove perlu untuk dilakukan. Membangun kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya fungsi mangrove terhadap keberadaan dan kelestarian wilayah mereka dapat mempermudah pelaksaanaan kegiatan dan pasca kegiatan rehabilitasi mangrove. Tujuan dari penyuluhan ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan guna membangun kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya green belt dan melakukan penanaman mangrove sebagai pembekalan teknis dan persiapan sumberdaya manusia untuk keberlanjutan pelestarian mangrove di Kecamatan Muara Gembong.

Abstract

Alat tangkap purse seine adalah alat tangkap terbanyak kedua yang digunakan nelayan di PPI Muara Angke setelah alat tangkap bouke ami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat selektivitas alat tangkap purse seine berdasarkan hasil tangkapannya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan survey di PPI Muara Angke Jakarta dari 10 Mei - 1 Juni 2016. Data hasil tangkapan ikan dikumpulan dari 4 unit alat tangkap purse seine dengan masing-masing alat tangkap 1 kali trip. Analisis data meliputi komposisi jenis hasil tangkapan dan ukuran panjang cagak pertama matang gonad hasil tangkapan utama. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa alat tangkap purse seine menangkap sebanyak 14 spesies dengan jumlah total hasil tangkapan 75.945 ekor dengan bobot 9.092 kg.  Komposisi hasil tangkapan sampingan lebih mendominasi yaitu sebesar 78,7% dibanding hasil tangkapan utama 21,3%. Panjang cagak ikan tangkapan utama yang telah mencapai ukuran matang gonad mencapai 50,1% dari total seluruh ikan yang diukur. Secara umum, dengan melihat faktor yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat selektivitas alat tangkap, purse seine tergolong alat tangkap yang memiliki tingkat selektivitas yang rendah.Kata Kunci : Purse Seine, Hasil Tangkapan, Selektivitas. Purse seine fishing gears is the second most fishing gears which is used by fisherman in muara angke fishing port after bouke ami fishing gears. The purpose of this research is to analyzed the selectivity level of purse seine fishing gears based on fishing catch. The data collection was collected in muara angke fishing port between 10 mei – 1 juni 2016. The data of fishing catch is collected from 4 unit of purse seine fishing gears with 1 trip from each unit. The data analysis exmines  the composisition of fishing catch and fork length of first maturity fish. The result from this research seeing that purse seine catch 14 different species from the total 75.945 fishes with 9.092 kg total weight. By-catch composistion is 78,7% more high than main catch composition 21,3%. The fork length of main catch which is have maturity size is just 50,1% from fishes were measured. Generally. From seeing the  used factor to measurre the level of fishing gears selectivity, purse seine fishing gears is classffied to the fishing gears that have poor selectivity level.Keywords : Purse Seine, Fishing catch, Selectivity

Abstract

AbstractAquaponics is new aquaculture integrating the technology of fishes and plants due to less availability of land. This study aimed to determine the optimum retention period in the aquaponics farming of sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) integrated with water spinach (Ipomoea reptan) to generate the water to support the catfish production. This study conducted in 40 days between May to June 2016 at Ciparanje Fish Hatchery Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran. The design of this study was completely randomized, with five treatments and three replications. The treatments retention periods were 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes, and control (no water flow). The study showed that the retention period affected water spinach’s inorganic nutrient absorption in sangkuriang catfish farm. The 15 minutes retention period gave the most desirable result, with a flow of 0.072 L/s that reduced 58.83% of nitrate, and 33.32% of ammonia has been produced by fish farming activities. The highest specific growth rate of the sangkuriang catfish obtained in 15 minute retention period of 4.01 % Keywords: aquaponics, sangkuriang catfish, water spinach, retention periods  AbstrakAkuaponik adalah teknologi akuakultur baru yang mengintegrasikan ikan dan tanaman karena ketersediaan lahan yang semakin rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan periode retensi optimum pada budidaya akuaponik ikan lele sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus) yang terintegrasi dengan kangkung air (Ipomoea reptan) untuk menghasilkan air yang mendukung produksi lele. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 40 hari di Laboratorium Budidaya  Ikan Ciparanje, Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, Universitas Padjadjaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap, dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan berupa periode retensi 5, 10, 15, 20 menit, dan kontrol (tidak ada aliran air). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa periode retensi memengaruhi penyerapan nutrisi anorganik oleh bayam air dalam budidaya ikan lele sangkuriang. Periode retensi 15 menit memberikan hasil yang paling baik,  dengan aliran 0,072 L/s mengurangi 58,83% nitrat, dan 33,32% amonia dalam media budidaya ikan. Laju pertumbuhan spesifik ikan lele sangkuriangtertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan waktu retensi 15 menit, yaitu sebesar 4,01%.  Kata kunci: akuaponik, ikan lele sangkuriang, kangkung darat, waktu retensi

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of filters on the growth performances of catfish fry (Clarias gariepinus) in the aquaponic system. The study was conducted in the Ciparanje Green House, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor. A completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications was applied, namely treatment A: Water circulation using bioball filter medium, B: Water circulation using water spinach filter medium, C: Water circulation using bioball and water spinach filter media, and D: Water circulation using sponge filter medium (control). The container used for the maintenance was a fiber tank at 70 cm × 70 cm × 70 cm size filled with 257 L water and a stocking density of 15 fish/fiber. The parameters observed were survival rate, growth, feed conversion, and water quality. The results showed that the use of biological filter using water spinach produced the best growth performance of catfish. The best survival rate was also obtained by using water spinach filter (100%) with the absolute growth of 98.32 ± 15.6 g. The water quality an aquaponic system with water spinach filter supported the growth performance of catfish fry. Keywords: absolute growth, aquaponic, Clarias gariepinus, filters. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas filter terhadap performa pertumbuhan benih ikan lele Clarias gariepinus dalam sistem akuaponik. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Rumah Kaca Ciparanje, Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor. Metode penelitian adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, yaitu perlakuan A: sirkulasi menggunakan media filter bioball, B: Sirkulasi menggunakan media filter bayam air, C: Sirkulasi menggunakan media filter bioball dan tanaman kangkung, dan D : Sirkulasi menggunakan media spons (kontrol). Wadah yang digunakan untuk pemeliharaan bak fiber dengan ukuran 70 cm × 70 cm × 70 cm diisi dengan air sebanyak 257 L dengan padat tebar 15 ekor / bak. Parameter yang diamati adalah kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan ikan, konversi pakan dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan filter biologis menggunakan tanaman kangkung menghasilkan performa pertumbuhan ikan lele yang terbaik. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup terbaik juga ditunjukkan oleh pelakuran dengan filter berupa tanaman kankung (100%) dan pertumbuhan mutlak 98,32 ± 15,6 g. Kualitas air sistem akuaponik dengan filter tanaman kangkung mendukung performa pertumbuhan benih ikan lele.

Abstract

Sampah plastik banyak dijumpai di berbagai wilayah pesisir, terbawa oleh gelombang arus dan pasang surut, serta kontribusi aktivitas daratan melalui sungai yang bermuara di laut. Ekosistem pesisir yang saat ini mengalami dampak peningkatan sampah plastik antara lain terumbu karang, padang lamun, pantai dan ekosistem mangrove. Ekosistem mangrove menjadi wilayah dengan ancaman akumulasi sampah makroplastik dengan jumlah sangat banyak dari berbagai aktivitas. Kawasan mangrove Karangsong di Kabupaten Indramayu merupakan ekosistem mangrove yang memiliki fungsi dan dikelola sebagai kawasan ekowisata. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis dan kepadatan makroplastik di kawasan ekowisata Mangrove Karangsong. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan plot transek 10 x 10 m2 secara stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan makroplastik terbanyak merupakan jenis Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE) sebesar 33,47% dengan kepadatan 5,43 potong/m2, sementara makroplastik paling sedikit dijumpai pada jenis Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) sebesar 0,15% dengan kepadatan 0,01 potong/m2. Sebaran sampah makroplastik yang ditemukan umumnya terkumpul tersangkut pada sistem perakaran mangrove dan tertutup substrat sedimen. Jenis makroplastik yang ditemukan, mengindikasikan pentingnya pengelolaan sampah di kawasan ekowisata maupun dari sumber utama penghasil.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the Mande District, Purwakarta Regency, with the research period from December 2024 to June 2025. The objective of this study is to analyze the factors that can influence the productivity of aquaculture in floating net cages (KJA). The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling, while the data obtained were analyzed using both descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of the research show that aquaculture in floating net cages at Cirata Reservoir, in terms of location, layout, infrastructure, and water quality, comply with the standards set in SNI 8228:2015 regarding Good Aquaculture Practices for freshwater fish in floating net cages. Based on the analysis of productivity levels in aquaculture at Cirata Reservoir, Bobojong Village, Mande District, Cianjur Regency, productivity per unit area was 25.15 kg/m²/year, and productivity per cost unit was Rp. 21,111/kg. The financial analysis resulted in an R/C ratio of 1.6, indicating profitability. The factors affecting productivity include land area, seed quality, feed conversion, and experience duration, while age had no significant impact.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii terhadap karakteristik kimia dan organoleptik cendol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pengolahan Hasil Perikanan, Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Padjadjaran, serta di Laboratorium (SIG) PT. Saraswanti Indo Genetech Bogor. Metode riset yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan 4 perlakuan penambahan tepung rumput laut sebanyak 0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15% pada cendol. Uji organoleptik dilakukan sebanyak 25 orang panelis semi terlatih sebagai ulangan. Parameter yang diuji meliputi tingkat kesukaan kenampakan, aroma, rasa, dan tekstur serta kadar air, protein, lemak, abu, serat pangan. Data hasil uji organoleptik dianalisis dengan uji Friedman dan Bayes, sedangkan hasil uji kimia dianalisis secara deskriptif komparatif. Hasil riset ini menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii pada cendol sebesar 5% merupakan perlakukan yang paling disukai berdasarkan parameter organoleptik dengan nilai rata-rata tingkat kesukaan kenampakan (7,3); aroma (6,8); rasa (7,0); dan tekstur (6,8) dan menghasilkan komposisi proksimat yaitu kadar air (91,55%); kadar abu (0,16%); kadar protein (0,59%); kadar lemak (0,02%); karbohidrat (7,70%) dan kadar serat pangan menjadi (1,94%).

Abstract

The industrialization of marine and fisheries is the integration of production systems from upstream and downstream, to increase the scale and quality of production, productivity, competitiveness, and value added of fishery products. Bio-ecoregion-based fisheries and marine resources from each region, especially in West Java, which is one of the producers of fisheries and marine production through the development of industrialization innovations 4.0. This study aims to analyze how to promote 4.0 industrial innovations for Fisheries Bioecoregion, case study in West Java Province, Indonesia. The method used in this research is quantitative description, using primary and secondary data. Data analysis tools use SWOT to systematically analyze various factors based on logic that can maximize strengths and opportunities, but simultaneously can minimize weaknesses and threats. Based on the research results, the strength that is owned is to create a transformation of the potential of fishery resources to the exploitation of fishery resources based on Bioecoregion. Opportunities faced by the transformation of open market access management and high competitiveness in fisheries and marine products. The challenges faced must be able to create a digital bio-ecoregion-based fishing industry system. The threat faced by the transformation of the workforce towards digitalization. Based on the SWOT analysis being in quadrant 2 it means it is in a diversification strategy. Promoting 4.0 Industrial Innovations For a Fisheries Bioecoregion, based on: increasing the added value of fisheries industrialization, increasing the competitiveness of fishery products; strengthening of marine and fisheries industry players; commodity-based, regional, and regional management systems with a concentration on leading commodities, modernization of upstream and downstream production systems; balance between the use of natural resources and sustainable environmental protection; and changes in the mindset and behavior of modern society.
