Abstract

Sukaraja Sub-district is still less effective in carrying out the collection of PBB, this is in accordance with what is conveyed by Duncan who explains that, effectiveness comes from the word effective, namely a job is said to be effective if the job can achieve the goals or objectives that have been determined and can be completed on time in accordance with the plan that has been set. The research method used in this research is qualitative research method, which aims to reveal qualitative information so that it emphasises more on process and meaning issues by describing a problem. The achievement of taxpayer goals is measured by the achievement of tax assessment, the obedience of the community to pay taxes and the timeliness of the community to pay taxes. Both according to the agency and the community, the achievement of taxpayer goals by the Village in Sukaraja Sub-district, Sukabumi District is still less effective. Adaptation in Sukaraja Sub-district is still not effective because adaptation by developing strategies is just in process.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explores the significance of treasury and financial risk management in volatile economic environments. It aims to assess the effectiveness of various risk mitigation strategies in enhancing financial stability and organizational resilience. The research hypothesizes that a well-integrated risk management framework can mitigate market uncertainties and improve long-term financial sustainability. Research Design and Methodology: The study adopts a qualitative literature review approach, systematically analyzing existing scholarly works to identify key themes, theoretical foundations, and practical insights related to financial risk management. The research synthesizes knowledge of financial, operational, and strategic risk management practices by reviewing various academic sources. Findings and Discussion: The findings highlight the critical role of structured risk management practices in maintaining financial stability, ensuring operational continuity, and strengthening competitive advantage. The study underscores the importance of integrating insights from recent research to develop adaptive risk management strategies that address financial risks holistically. Implications: The study suggests that organizations should foster a proactive risk-aware culture, leverage emerging financial technologies, and continuously align strategies with evolving regulatory requirements. Future research should explore the intersection of digital transformation and financial risk management to enhance predictive capabilities and decision-making processes in uncertain economic landscapes.

Abstract

Among the 38 villages in Sukabumi Regency that have implemented the Disaster Resilient Village program, Citepus Village was chosen by BPBD Sukabumi Regency to implement this program because it has a high disaster risk. However, if we look at the level of capacity, Citepus Village is classified as a village with a low level of capacity, this shows that the community and village officials in disaster management are still relatively low or poor. The aim of this research is to find out how the Disaster Resilient Village program is implemented in Citepus Village, Palabuhan Ratu District, Sukabumi Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were Citepus residents, with a sample size of 100 respondents. In this research, researchers used data collection techniques, namely observation, questionnaires/surveys, and literature study. Data analysis and hypothesis testing used in this research are validity testing, reliability testing, hypothesis testing, t test. The findings in this research are the Disaster Resilient Village Program in Citepus Village, Effectiveness, Disaster Resilient Village Program. Effectiveness, defined as the degree of goal achievement, is crucial in gauging organizational progress. In conclusion, community knowledge and awareness are pivotal in mitigating disaster risks and losses. The findings emphasize the efficacy of community-driven disaster resilience initiatives and advocate for proactive, preventive measures in disaster management.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the credibility and integrity of the Sukabumi City General Election Commission as the Organizer of the 2024 General Election. The grand theory in this research, the credibility variable theory uses source credibility proposed by Hovland, while the integrity variable theory uses the Executive Brand Assessment integrity concept in the Front Group Dissemination module Riau Provincial Government Integrity. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The sampling technique that the researcher used was purposive sampling, with a population of 100 and a sample of 80 respondents and to collect data, the researcher carried out observations, literature studies and distributed questionnaires. Based on the correlation coefficient, it shows a very strong relationship between credibility, integrity and general elections, worth 0.826. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination shows that the credibility and integrity of the General Election Commission (KPU) has a positive influence on the general election, namely 68.2%. Based on the results of this research, it shows that the Sukabumi City General Election Commission (KPU) has credibility and integrity as the organizer of the 2024 general election.

Abstract

Sukabumi City in West Java Province, as a city that uses the Smart City concept, continues to be committed to the Smart City program based on Sukabumi Mayor Decree Number 73 concerning the Establishment of the Smart City Action Plan Activity Compilation Team in Sukabumi City. The aim is to establish Smart City development planning guidelines based on Smart Governance, Smart Economy, Smart People, Smart Mobility, Smart Living, and Smart Environment. The Smart City concept is carried out to overcome complex problems in urban life. This research aims to discover the Application of Smart Governance in Developing the Smart City Concept at the Communication and Informatics Office of Sukabumi City. The research method was carried out using descriptive qualitative methods. Snowball sampling was used to determine informants, and data collection techniques included observation, documentation, interviews, and audio-visual materials. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of smart governance in the innovative city program at the communication and informatics office of Sukabumi has been realized. Still, there are several inhibiting factors, such as complaints from users of online complaint service applications that experience network and application problems.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan salah satu isu kesehatan yang menjadi prioritas dan penting untuk ditanganani saat ini. Dalam penanganan stunting tidak lepas dari inovasi, inovasi merupakan pengenalan terhadap hal-hal baru, pembaharuan, penemuan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inovasi penanganan stunting di Kota Magelang tahun 2022-2023. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori 3 inovasi menurut sururi (2017), yaitu; inovasi kebijakan berdasarkan proses, inovasi kebijakan berdasarkan metode dan inovasi  kebijakan berdasarkan produk. Hasil penelitian inovasi kebijakan pada tahun 2022, inovasi BAAS (Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting) yang dilakukan DP4KB Kota Magelang dengan uang tunai 450 ribu perbulan 6 bulan. Namun, inovasi ini kurang efektif karena kurang pemantauan dalam distribusi, sehingga dana tidak digunakan untuk kebutuhan anak stunting. Inovasi kebijakan tahun 2023 inovasi Ceting Emas TP PKK Kota Magelang dengan PMT untuk anak stunting, dengan kandungan tinggi protein hewani, pelatihan PMBA, blangko, dan monev. Inovasi ini membantu penanganan stunting karena menaikan tinggi badan, berat badan anak. Hambatan inovasi Ceting anak susah makan, orang tua pindah tempat tinggal, orang tua menolak untuk diberikan PMT menganggap anak tidak stunting. Solusi untuk hambatan dengan pendekatan keluarga yang dilakukan oleh TP PKK Kota Magelang.

Abstract

Pelaporan mengenai peristiwa kematian seseorang sangat diperlukan untuk pemeliharaan data kependudukan sehingga data yang tersaji merupakan data yang faktual. Target pencatatan akta kematian masih belum tercapai dikarenakan masih rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat akan pentingnya kepemilikan akta kematian. Kesenjangan yang terjadi antara kasus kematian yang dilaporkan dan jumlah akta kematian yang diterbitkan di Kabupaten Sukabumi yakni selisihnya sebesar 72,69%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelayanan pembuatan akta kematian pada Dinas Kependudukan Dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Sukabumi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dimana dalam penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat deskriptif yang menggambarkan fenomena sebenarnya dari kejadian di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik Wawancara, Observasi, dan dokumentasi yang terkait dengan penelitian. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga variabel efektivitas dari Duncan meliputi pencapaian tujuan, integrasi, dan adaptasi. Dari penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan dalam pelaksanaan efektivitas pelayanan pembuatan akta kematian Kabupaten Sukabumi ini, ditemukan banyak hal yang setidaknya menghambat pembuatan akta kematian yakni : Pemberian informasi yang salah tentang persyaratan pembuatan akta dan kurangnya kecakapan yang dimiliki oleh para pelaksana.

Abstract

The effectiveness of the parking ban policy in Sukabumi City implemented by the Transportation Department has been regulated by the Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. This research is motivated by the presence of illegal parking at several points such as Jalan R.E Martadinata, Jalan Gudang Kebonjati, Jalan Kramat, and Jalan A. Yani. This research aims to see the effectiveness of the parking ban policy implemented by the Sukabumi City Transportation Agency. This research uses Duncan's theory of effectiveness with three dimensions, namely goal achievement, Integrity, and Adaptation. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study show that it is quite good but in its implementation, there are still many motorists who do not realize the importance of orderly traffic or obey the rules set by the Sukabumi City Transportation Office.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the capability of the Office of Education and Culture in managing heritage tourism in Sukabumi City. The research method in this study uses a qualitative research type, with 4 informants through observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The results found that overall, the management of heritage tourism in Sukabumi City can be said to be good and quite effective. However, in practice, a holistic approach is needed that includes better coordination between institutions, increased promotional efforts and legal improvements, as well as active community involvement to ensure more effective preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. In addition, researchers found that the biggest challenges faced in the management of cultural heritage in Sukabumi City include legal aspects, budgeting, and conflicts of interest between institutions. The importance of a strong legal stipulation related to cultural heritage was highlighted. Meanwhile, cooperation between institutions such as the Culture Office, Tourism Office, and Archives Office needs to be strengthened to better promote destinations and maintain cultural heritage.

Abstract

In an effort to realize digital technology-based good governance, for public complaint management services related to government performance, the Communication, Information and Signage Office of Sukabumi District launched the E-LAPOR SP4N service program, as one of the public service innovations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the National Public Service Complaint Management System Service Program (E-Lapor SP4N) in responding to and following up on complaints from the public at the Communication, Information and Signage Office of Sukabumi Regency. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach to observe individuals or a number of people who will become informants in the phenomenon of research problems. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documents. Data validation used in this research is source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The results showed that the Communication, Informatics and Standardization Office of Sukabumi Regency successfully implemented the E-Lapor SP4N application strongly. Continuous socialization, training and evaluation efforts were made to ensure understanding and effectiveness of the application. Despite facing resource and budget constraints, the app has successfully increased community participation in the oversight of development and public services. The agency followed clear SOPs in handling complaints, achieving timely resolution despite challenges in responsiveness and budget limitations. The implementation of E-Lapor has had a positive impact with significant improvements in the handling of public complaints, opening up more transparent and participatory access for the community in submitting complaints and aspirations related to public services.
