Abstract

The future is something that is uncertain for humans. Therefore, everyone tries to predict and plan for his/her future. Individual career planning is an important way to secure life. A career plan will help employees feel comfortable with their work and will directly affect job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the relationship between individual career planning and employee job satisfaction for two types of university workers  –  academic  and  administrative  staff.  This  research  is  also  to  understand whether the influence of individual career planning on job satisfaction is positive and significant. The research instrument using a questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents  at  Uniska  Banjarmasin.  Statistical  analysis  with  linear  regression  and tested using SPSS software for windows version 20.0.The results of the study found that the existence of a clear career planning from the organization can increase job satisfaction positively and significantly.

Abstract

Organizations are always changing with shifting in leadership. Employees are required to be able to adapt to changes in the organization, including the existence of work shifting in the organization. Employees are required to have professionalism in their work in order to provide good service to the user community. At this point, the employee's personality traits and career adaptability are very important. Relevant research shows that the ability to adapt to a career should not be overlooked when career planning is made. This study examines the relationship between employee personality traits and career adjustment abilities, who work in the public sector in the Banjarmasin City (n = 100). Using the survey method, data was collected from village officials. According to the results of data analysis, five personality factors and identification dimensions, and each dimension are grouped into three levels. Factor analysis was applied to the expression of career adaptability, with four factors. The results showed that there were significant differences in employee’s career adjustments according to the personality traits of each employee’s.

Abstract

This study aims to determine product quality and price in purchasing decisions. This is because of the current digital era, the development of technology and information is running very rapidly, resulting in increasingly fierce business competition. In the business world, product quality and product price can stimulate a market response. The population in this study was 1230 people, with the sampling technique of convenience sampling with the Slovin formula so that a sample of 302 respondents was obtained. The analytical technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that product quality had an effect on purchasing decisions. In addition, the suitability of the price with the benefits and quality received by consumers will be very sensitive in responding to the level of pricing applied to the product.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) To find out whether employee work discipline partially affects the performance of PT. Mandala Multifinance Banjarmasin. (2) To find out whether the employee's work motivation partially affects the performance of employees of PT. Mandala Multifinance Banjarmasin. (3) To find out whether work discipline and employee motivation simultaneously affect the performance of PT. Mandala Multifinance Banjarmasin. This research uses quantitative methods and is a type of survey research. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire. The number of respondents is 34 people with Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The results showed: (1) Work discipline and work motivation have a significant influence on employee performance at PT. Mandala Multifinance Banjarmasin. (2) Work discipline has no significant effect on employee performance at PT. Mandala Multifinance Banjarmasin. (3) Work motivation has a significant influence on employee performance at PT. Mandala Multifinance Banjarmasin.
