Abstract

One way to create interesting teaching materials is to design teaching materials with the help of a website by utilizing the Google Sites website builder application. This study aims to describe the validity, practicality and effectiveness of teaching materials assisted by Google Sites on Vibration, Waves and Sound. This research refers to the 4-D model development research which consists of the Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate stages. The results showed that the validity of teaching materials was included in the valid criteria, the practicality of teaching materials was classified as good criteria, the effectiveness of teaching materials in terms of student activities was classified as good criteria and from the learning outcomes of students, it was classified as medium N-gain criteria. Thus, the Google Sites-assisted Teaching Materials developed are valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Noise is a sound that is not desired because it is not in accordance with the context of activity, space, and time so it can cause disturbances to comfort and even human health. Twoof the basic ingredients of a silencer are husk and bran. This research aimed to determine the effect and model of the relationship of the density of the sample mixture of husks and bran on acoustic waves' reflection coefficient and transmission coefficient. The method used in this research is experimental, using a mixture of husk and bran samples whose density consists of 5 variations. The results showed that the husk and bran mixture's sample density strongly affected the reflection coefficient (r = 0.947 to r = 0.966) and the transmission coefficient (r = -0.962 to r = -0.999). These resultsshow that the greater the sample density of the husk and bran mixture, the greater the absorption intensity fraction produced. Statistically, the level of influence is indicated by the correlation coefficient, whose value is around r = 0.95 to r = 0.99. Based on the results, the reflection and transmission coefficients are influenced by the density of the mixture of husk and bran samples.

Abstract

This study aims to know whether or not there is a difference in the student's cognitive learning outcomes by using a discovery-bassed learning model and problem based learning model on Physics subjects in Static Fluids material. This study applies a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design using two classes. The study site is at SMAN 1 Boliyohuto in the odd semester of 2021. The population in class XI MIA 1, XI MIA 2, XI MIA 3, and XI MIA 4, with the sample is class XI MIA 3 and Class XI MIA 4, totaling 15 students, respectively. This study uses t-test in hypothesis analysis, where the test is based on the minimum completeness criteria for 75. Based on the result of hypothesis testing, the t-count value is 0.604102, and the t-table value is 2.144787 (tcount  ttable), so H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. The H0 states that there is a difference in students learning outcomes by applying the experimental discovery-based learning model and the problem-based learning model.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery dan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada pelajaran fisika materi fluida statis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasi eksperimen dan menggunakan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control grup desain dengan menggunakan dua kelas. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian di SMAN 1 Boliyohuto semester ganjil tahun 2021. Populasi kelas XI MIA 1, XI MIA 2, XI MIA 3, Dan XI MIA 4 dengan sampel kelas XI MIA 3 dan Kelas XI MIA 4 yang masing –masing berjumlah 15 peserta didik. Analisis hipotesis dalam penelitian menggunakan uji t, dimana pengujian didasarkan pada Kriteria Ketuntasan minimal disekolah yaitu 75. Berdsarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diketahui harga t hitung 0.604102 dan harga t tabel yaitu  2.144787 (thitung ttabel), maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, dimana H0 menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran discovery berbasis eksperimen dengan model problem based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Inquiry-Based Learning model on students' scientific ability in Rotational Dynamics of a Rigid Bodies. This influence is seen from whether or not students can achieve the criteria of completeness by mastering three PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) indicators in 10 items on the test consisting of two questions to identify scientific problems, five question to explain phenomena scientifically, and three questions to interpret data and scientific evidence. The research method applied is the experimental method and uses the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design as a research design involving 4 classes, where 1 class acts as the experimental class and 3 classes as the replication class. Based on the statistical results of the t-test to test the research hypothesis, the t-count value for each sample class is greater than the t-table value. This shows that the use of the Inquiry-Based Learning learning model has an effect on students' scientific literacy abilities in the rotational dynamics of a rigid bodies

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan dari pengaruh teknik pembelajaran Probing-Prompting dengan media simulasi berbantuan PhET terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing berbantuan alat peraga pada percobaan sederhana pada materi gelombang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Lolak menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan design Posttest Only Control Group Design, dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan teknik pembelajaran Probing-Prompting berbantan media simulasi PhET dan kelas pembanding yaitu XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model Inkuiri Terbimbing berbantuan alat peraga pada percobaan sederhana. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes hasil belajar dengan 8 butir soal dalam bentuk tes uraian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah t_hitung  = 3,36 lebih dari t_tabel  = 1,69, maka kesimpulannya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan teknik pembelajaran Probing-Prompting berbantuan media PhET dengan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing berbantuan alat peraga sederhana.

Abstract

Garbage is something that humans throw away because it can no longer be used. An environment with a buildup of garbage can cause various problems such as hygiene, health, beauty, environmental pollution, and social issues. One of the problems regarding waste is located in Lopo Village-Gorontalo District. Garbage is thrown away and then burned, especially plastic waste. The combustion results can undoubtedly pollute the environment. This happens due to the need for more guidance and community empowerment in recycling waste into something that can be useful. One of the solutions for handling waste into something that can be useful is to convert plastic waste into fuel oil through the socialization of making a simple plastic pyrolysis machine. This socialization activity provides an understanding of waste and its impact on the environment, methods of waste management, and how to make a simple plastic pyrolysis machine. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating in this socialization because they learned how to process plastic waste into fuel and make simple plastic pyrolysis machines that can be products of high economic value

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in psychomotor learning outcomes of students using discovery learning models and problem-based learning (PBL) models in static fluid physics materials. The research location was conducted at SMAN 1 Boliyohuto for the 2021/2022 academic year in classes XI IPA type 1 and XI IPA type 2, each with 15 students. The research method used is quasi-experimental in the experimental class and the control class. The independent variable in this learning model is the discovery learning model. In contrast, the dependent variable is the results of students' psychomotor learning through observation sheets. Based on the analysis results, there were differences in student learning outcomes by applying the experimental-based discovery learning model to the PBL model. The control class scores were higher than the experimental class scores

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan Pelatihan KIT IPA merupakan program pelatihan yang dapat memberikan solusi bagi permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh guru IPA. Permasalahannya adalah masih kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan KIT IPA dalam proses pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini bertujuan agar guru-guru dapat memahami dan menerapkan proses pembelajaran menggunakan KIT IPA.Pelatihan ini diharapkan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektifitas guru dalam menggunakan alat KIT IPA untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 serta mengatasi kurangnya kemampuan dalam menggunakan KIT IPA menggunakan metode pembelajaran jigsaw. Kegiatan inti yang akan dilaksanakan yakni, Pelatihan Penggunaan Alat KIT IPA Bagi Guru-guru IPA Se-Kecamatan Batudaa dalam Mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013, dan kegiatan Mengajar di sekolah. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini dapat menambah lmu dan kemampuan guru-guru Kecamatan Batudaa dalam mengimplementasikan penggunaan KIT IPA di sekolah. Kata kunci: efektifitas; guru; kemampuan; KIT IPA; kurikulum ABSTRACTThe Science Set Tools Training Activity is a training program that can provide solutions to the main problems faced by science teachers. The main activities to be carried out training used Science Set Tools for Science Teachers in Batudaa District in Implementing the 2013 Curriculum, and teaching activities in schools by this training. Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi stunting pada anak usia dini di desa Kayu Bulan Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai Kabupaten Gorontalo dengan mengolah bahan baku sagu menjadi makanan balita. Program KKN Tematik ini berupa pelatihan transformasi bahan baku sagu (Metroxylon sagu) menjadi barang olahan desa unggulan yang bernilai ekonomis. Di Indonesia, sagu merupakan salah satu tanaman pangan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber karbohidrat. Karena berbagai keuntungannya sebagai pengganti makanan dan karbohidrat, sagu memberikan peluang yang sangat baik untuk pengembangan produk. Selain itu, budidaya sagu sederhana, memaksimalkan potensinya. Namun, penggunaan sagu masih belum memerlukan perbaikan. Sebagian besar sagu dikonsumsi sebagai bahan tambahan pangan pada makanan ringan seperti bubur dan kue sagu. Aneka olahan bisa dibuat dari sagu. Oleh sebab itu, pengembangan pengolahan lebih lanjut menjadi makanan balita diperlukan untuk mengatasi stunting pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengolahan abon ikan pada kelompok usaha merupakan usaha untuk memaksimalkan kemampuan dari masyarakat dalam mengembangkan individu melalui kelompok agar dapat mencapai kesejahteraan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu agar masyarakat, khususnya pelaku usaha dapat membuat olahan ikan menjadi abon dengan cita rasa yang berbeda dari abon lain. Dalam hal pemberdayaan kelompok usaha terhadap individu atau anggota diharapkan dapat memanajemen keuangan, memanfaatkan sumber daya manusia, dan inovasi dalam pemasaran. Dengan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini diharapkan masyarakat dapat membuat olahan ikan menjadi abon dengan rasa yang berbeda dari abon yang lain, serta menambah wawasan mengenai faktor penting dalamkolompok usaha sehingga tercapai suatu kesejahteraan.
