Abstract

The presence of Information Technology (IT) has changed the way of business by providing new opportunities and challenges that are different from conventional ways. The information system implemented in UMKM activities deserves to be protected. The developed information system is a model for small and medium enterprises. This study aims to investigate the implementation of information asset security in UMKM and the challenges it will face in the future. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. This research was assisted by the www.researchgate.net web application to collect relevant data and then conduct content analysis. The sample used in this study is journal papers that are relevant to the topic of national UMKM and information asset security during the COVID-19 period in the 2020-2022. The results of this study indicate that some UMKM have implemented an information asset security system in their operational activities, while some other UMKM still operate traditionally manually without involving information technology. The challenge ahead is the problem of increasing the knowledge, awareness and caution of operators to avoid data input errors as well as periodically checking the security of the security system. It is hoped that the collaboration of government, academics and UMKM practitioners can help answer these challenges

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat, menimbulkan banyak efek untuk kehidupan manusia saat ini, termasuk memberikan efek positif berupa mempermudah keberlangsungan hidup. Pada perpustakaan juga membutuhkan sebuah sistem informasi yang berkaitan dengan teknologi, seperti membuatnya menjadi berbasis web. Perpustakaan Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, tidak memiliki sistem yang mengetahui rekam jejak aktifitas pengunjung perpustakaan. Selain itu, pada proses peminjaman dan pengembalian buku pada perpustakaan ini hanya menyediakan link G-form yang kemudian peminjam akan menginput data dari link tersebut. Dimana pada hasil pengiputan data akan masuk ke Microsoft excel. Menggunakan Microsoft excel cenderung masih memiliki kendala yaitu keamanan data yang kurang terjamin atau bahkan kehilangan data peminjaman dan pengembalian buku. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini akan membuat Sistem Informasi Perpustakan berbasis web. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan studi literatur. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan waterfall, dan Unified Modeling Language pada perancangannya. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah PHP dan basis data MySQL. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem informasi perpustakaan yang bersifat multiuser yang dapat membantu petugas perpus dalam mengelola data pengunjung, data buku, data anggota, data peminjaman, pengembalian buku, dan pembuatan laporan dengan mudah dan cepat. Sistem informasi perpustakaan ini memerlukan pemeliharaan secara teratur dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan fungsional.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged increased efficiency and effectiveness in various fields, including service delivery in notary offices. This research aims to develop and implement WhatsApp bot in the process of registration and monitoring of services at the notary office using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. The RAD method was chosen because of its ability to produce applications quickly through intensive iteration and prototyping. The developed WhatsApp bot allows users to register for services, organise appointments, and monitor service status in real-time via text messages. The results of this implementation show that the WhatsApp bot can increase convenience and speed in the registration and monitoring process, reduce staff workload, and improve customer experience. The evaluation showed a high level of user satisfaction with the system, with quick responses and more organised services. The implementation of this WhatsApp bot is expected to be a model for the development of similar applications in various other service areas. In this research, it adds a WA BOT feature for customers to conduct consultations without having to come to the office. With this designed application, it can facilitate employees of the Adi Pinem S.H Notary Office in the registration and monitoring process in service services.

Abstract

In response to the rising usage of information technology, organizations should implement an information technology plan aligned with company goals. Similarly, in education, information technology is used for business purposes. The purpose of this research is to look into the implementation of information technology governance utilizing the COBIT 5 framework. This study was carried out at MAN 1 MEDAN. The survey technique collects data through the distribution of questionnaires to information technology managers and key users in various businesses. Descriptive research discovered that the state of governance and information technology implementation at MAN 1 MEDAN was at level 3 on a scale of 0 to 5. This demonstrated that institutional behaviors had been adequately recorded and internalized. This study aims to contribute to research on the use of information technology governance, particularly for educational institutions and information technology managers, as input material in the management of information technology resources in other institutions. These associated problems are essential considerations for parents or students when selecting a Medan MAN 1 school with a high degree of IT facilities.

Abstract

Kerusakan jalan merupakan masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh masyarakat. Kerusakan jalan dapat menyebabkan gangguan dalam mobilitas masyarakat, meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan, meningkatkan resiko kemacetan, dan mempengaruhi kegiatan ekonomi di wilayah tersebut, sehingga diperlukan solusi yang efisien untuk rekomendasi perbaikan jalan. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini dibangunlah sebuah sistem informasi geografis rekomendasi perbaikan jalan dengan metode AHP-SMART yang kemudian hasilnya dipetakan menjadi pemetaan kerusakan jalan. Pada penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti yaitu Research and Development (R&D). Serta metode RAD sebagai metode pengembangan sistem.

Abstract

Cancer is a condition that often threatens human health. Lack of public awareness of the main signs, symptoms, and causes of cancer is one of the factors causing the increasing mortality rate from the disease. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a cancer that affects humans and is potentially fatal. In Indonesia, where KNF is one of the top five malignant tumors with the most frequency, Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (KNF) is the most malignant tumor among ENT malignant tumors (along with uterine cervical malignant tumors, breast tumors, lymph node tumors and skin tumors). ). The Dempster Shafer method is one of many techniques that can be used to diagnose nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The Dempster Shafer method is a mathematical approach to proofs that combines different bits of information (proofs) to estimate the probability of an event. It is based on the functions of trust and reasonable reasoning. Based on the description above, an expert system with the Dempster Shafer approach is needed that will help medical professionals and the general public in identifying the symptoms of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (KNF) early. So many people can identify diseases affecting the nasopharynx, especially the neck and head, with the help of this method and get immediate treatment.

Abstract

This article analyzes the effectiveness of the Community Service Program (KKN) in Sumber Padi Village, Batubara Regency, conducted by Group 44 from the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The urgency of this research lies in evaluating the sustainable impact of the KKN program on village development, with a focus on infrastructure, health, education, and the local economy. The methodology employed is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach, involving field observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that KKN plays a significant role in improving the quality of life in the village through infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and enhancements in education and public health. KKN students act as agents of change, successfully introducing innovations and sustainable practices to the village. In conclusion, the participatory approach implemented in the KKN program has proven effective in promoting sustainable development in Sumber Padi Village and can serve as a model for similar programs in other regions.

Abstract

Employee transfer is one aspect that influences employee performance in a company. PT PLN (Persero) ULP Labuhan is one of the agencies or companies that implement transfers with the aim of improving employee performance. With the increasingly advanced development of technology, every company is competing to keep up with the times. Employee transfers at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Labuhan are still carried out manually and decisions are made only based on individual or group opinions. Therefore, determining which employees will be transferred takes a long time and produces less than optimal results. This study aims to help PT PLN (Persero) ULP Labuhan identify employee transfers that will provide maximum results. In this study, the waterfall model was applied to build a system that includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. This research stage was carried out by collecting data through interviews. The data is then input into a decision support system, calculated using the ORESTE method, and stored in a database. This allows decision making with the final results sorted by system from the smallest to the largest value. The results of the study based on the ORESTE method are that Rizka Utami's alternative is the first alternative with a final value of 6.82211. This is because Rizka Utami's alternative meets almost all criteria starting from Performance Assessment, Organizational Needs, Education and Training, Length of Service and Age.

Abstract

In this modern era, the development of technology and information systems greatly affects various sectors, including social sectors such as orphanages. This research aims to develop a Food Donation Management Information System at Orphanages using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method was chosen because of its ability to simplify the complexity of multi-criteria assessments by giving weights to each criterion and determining the best alternative based on the weighted sum of the performance ratings on each attribute. This research applies descriptive quantitative methods by collecting data through observation, interviews, and literature studies. System development uses the Waterfall model which involves the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. In this case study, seven orphanages in Deli Serdang were assessed based on the criteria of access to location, routine programs, facilities, and number of children. The results show that by applying the SAW method, the developed information system can help orphanage managers in making better decisions, stock monitoring, distribution planning, and optimizing the use of resources. The weight values for the criteria are determined as follows: C1 = 0.1, C2 = 0.2, C3 = 0.3, and C4 = 0.4. The final ranking shows that the best alternative is the orphanage coded A7 with the highest score of 0.855. Thus, this information system is expected to be an effective model for donation management in orphanages, increase transparency and accountability, and support the welfare of children in orphanages through more efficient management of basic necessities.

Abstract

Abstract: Data mining is a method that has a function to collect data into new information that becomes a reference in decision making. The Medan City Social Service has the task of assisting the government in the social sector, one of which handles the implementation of the distribution of Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT). Problems arising in the distribution of this assistance ranging from the number of beneficiary quotas to the difficulty in determining the eligibility of prospective beneficiaries. Overcoming these problems, the clustering process in data mining is very appropriate to use. The algorithm used in clustering the eligibility of BPNT recipients in this study is the K-Means algorithm. The data mining system using the web-based k-means clustering algorithm using the PHP programming language, Codeigniter framework, and MySQL database will classify community data on prospective BPNT recipients in the categories of eligible, considered and ineligible. With this system, it can help the Social Service in determining the eligibility of BPNT recipients effectively and efficiently. Keywords: data mining, k-means clustering, bpnt, website Abstrak: Data mining merupakan suatu metode yang memiliki fungsi untuk pengumpulan data menjadi sebuah informasi baru yang menjadi acuan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Dinas Sosial Kota Medan mempunyai tugas membantu pemerintah dalam bidang sosial salah satunya menangani pelaksanaan penyaluran Bantuan Pangan Non Tunai (BPNT). Permasalahan yang ditimbulkan dalam penyaluran bantuan tersebut mulai dari jumlah kuota penerima bantuan hingga kesulitan dalam menentukan kelayakan dari calon penerima bantuan. Mengatasi permasalahan tersebut proses clustering dalam data mining sangat tepat digunakan. Algoritma yang digunakan dalam klasterisasi kelayakan penerima BPNT pada penelitian ini adalah algoritma K-Means. Sistem data mining menggunakan algoritma k-means clustering berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Codeigniter, dan database MySQL akan mengelompokkan data masyarakat calon penerima BPNT dalam kategori layak, dipertimbangkan serta tidak layak. Dengan adanya sistem ini dapat membantu pihak Dinas Sosial dalam menentukan kelayakan penerima BPNT secara efektif dan efisien. Kata kunci: data mining, k-means clustering, bpnt, website
