Abstract

The development of digital technology, especially digital multimedia, can change the way people do business. The development of social media and the sophistication of new applications offer endless opportunities for product marketing. Product marketing strategy is needed to increase competitiveness. One of the marketing strategies is attractive advertising media. This community service aims to improve the ability of home industry entrepreneurs who are members of the Medan IPEMI (Indonesian Islamic Entrepreneurs Association) organization to promote their products through advertising media. This activity teaches women entrepreneurs how to use the Kinemaster app to create product ads with visually appealing content. The resulting media is in the form of moving advertisements in short duration video formats.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 membawa perubahan pada metode pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah, termasuk di SD Yayasan Perguruan Amaliyah Sunggal. Kegiatan belajar mengajar yang selama ini dilaksanakan secara tatap muka berubah menjadi pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring). Hal ini tentunya menuntut kemampuan guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran digital bagi siswa. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru membuat animasi menggunakan Microsoft Power Point sebagai media pembelajaran bagi murid.

Abstract

CV. Rentalindo Digital Pro merupakan UMKM di bidang penyewaan alat elektronik yang masih menggunakan sistem pencatatan manual sehingga menimbulkan kendala seperti kehilangan data, kesalahan administratif, dan keterlambatan pelayanan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem informasi penyewaan berbasis web sebagai solusi teknologi tepat guna untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan akurasi data serta mendukung pemberdayaan UMKM. Pendekatan Software Development Life Cycle dengan model Waterfall yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan diterapkan dalam pengembangan sistem. Hasil pengujian yang diperoleh, sebagaimana terlihat dalam tabel pengujian, menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu mengotomatiskan pencatatan transaksi, mengelola data pelanggan secara terpusat, menyediakan informasi inventaris dan status pemesanan secara real time, serta menyederhanakan proses operasional melalui antarmuka yang mudah digunakan. Peningkatan signifikan dalam keamanan data, transparansi informasi, dan efisiensi pelayanan membuktikan bahwa sistem ini tidak hanya menyelesaikan permasalahan internal tetapi juga berpotensi memberdayakan pelaku UMKM melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi secara efektif.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah keterbatasan informasi terkait lokasi dan rute optimal menuju objek wisata di daerah tersebut, yang menghambat aksesibilitas dan promosi pariwisata. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, digunakan algoritma Floyd-Warshall dalam menghitung rute terpendek antar lokasi wisata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun aplikasi mobile GIS yang mampu menampilkan lokasi objek wisata, memberikan informasi deskriptif, serta menyarankan rute perjalanan yang efisien. Aplikasi ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemudahan navigasi dan membantu pengembangan sektor pariwisata lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi yang dikembangkan dapat menampilkan peta interaktif dengan fitur penelusuran lokasi wisata, informasi detail mengenai setiap objek wisata, dan penentuan rute terpendek berdasarkan algoritma Floyd-Warshall. Pengujian sistem membuktikan bahwa algoritma ini bekerja secara optimal dalam menemukan rute efisien, sehingga aplikasi dapat menjadi alat bantu yang efektif bagi wisatawan dan pemerintah daerah dalam pengelolaan data pariwisata.

Abstract

Internship registration at the Communication and Information Technology Office of Binjai City still uses a conventional system that requires prospective participants to attend in person, submit physical documents, and rely on informal communication through WhatsApp. This condition causes administrative process inefficiency, limited service accessibility, dependency on personal connections, risk of document loss, and minimal transparency in the registration process. This research aims to design a web-based internship registration information system to improve administrative process efficiency and public service quality at Diskominfo Binjai City. The development method used is Waterfall with stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is built using the Laravel framework with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, PHP programming language, as well as Bootstrap and jQuery for the user interface. System design uses Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) to model functional requirements and database structure. Research results show the system successfully transforms the registration process from manual to digital with features including online registration, administrator dashboard, applicant data management, automatic notification system, and contact message management. System implementation improves operational efficiency through process automation, eliminates geographical and temporal barriers, removes dependency on personal connections, and enhances public service transparency and accountability through standardized procedures and structured digital documentation. This system contributes significantly to modernizing government governance and improving public service quality at the local level.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk memanfaatkan e-commerce sebagai media penjualan yang lebih efektif, efisien, dan terintegrasi. Salah satu strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan serta loyalitas pelanggan dalam e-commerce adalah Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan CRM pada sistem e-commerce sebagai media penjualan pada UMKM penghasil kopi dengan studi kasus Linge Coffee Home Roasting di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg and Gall, sedangkan metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan Waterfall yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis, desain, implementasi, pengujian, serta pengoperasian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Sistem e-commerce yang dikembangkan dilengkapi dengan fitur-fitur CRM, antara lain manajemen akun pelanggan, penilaian produk, serta pemberian diskon sebagai strategi peningkatan loyalitas pelanggan. Implementasi sistem ini memungkinkan pelanggan melakukan pemesanan secara daring tanpa harus datang langsung ke lokasi, sekaligus membantu pemilik usaha dalam mengelola data transaksi secara lebih terstruktur dan terdokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu mempermudah proses transaksi penjualan, meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan data penjualan, serta memperkuat hubungan antara pelaku UMKM dan pelanggan. Pengujian sistem menggunakan metode blackbox menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur sistem berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna baik dari sisi admin maupun pelanggan. Dengan demikian, implementasi CRM pada e-commerce dapat menjadi solusi yang tepat dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, perluasan jangkauan pemasaran, serta pengembangan usaha UMKM penghasil kopi secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based bus ticket reservation information system that implements a Collaborative Filtering algorithm in a smart seat booking feature. The system was developed to address the limitations of manual ticket reservation processes, including restricted access to information, long queues, and low service efficiency. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Waterfall model, which consisted of observation, interviews, literature review, system design, implementation, and testing. System evaluation was conducted through Unit Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results indicate that the system successfully provides real-time departure schedule information, facilitates online ticket reservations, and generates seat recommendations based on user preferences. All major system functions achieved a 100% success rate during testing. UAT involving 30 respondents produced a user satisfaction score of 91%, while the Collaborative Filtering algorithm achieved a seat recommendation accuracy of 85%. The system also reduced ticket booking queue times by up to 70% compared with the previous manual process..

Abstract

Effective inventory management is essential to maintain stock availability and control inventory costs in distribution companies. PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia, Medan Branch, still faces challenges due to non-integrated inventory recording, resulting in data inconsistencies, reporting delays, and difficulties in determining optimal order quantities. These issues increase the risk of stock shortages and excess inventory, highlighting the need for an integrated inventory management information system. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory management system using the Safety Stock and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) methods. The research applies a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Waterfall model, covering requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. The system was developed using PHP with the Laravel framework, a MySQL database, and UML. Model validation was conducted by comparing system calculation results with manual theoretical calculations, while verification was performed through functional and user acceptance testing. The results show that the system can accurately record inventory data, monitor stock levels in real time, and automatically calculate EOQ and safety stock, thereby supporting efficient and optimal inventory control.Keywords - Economic Order Quantity (EOQ); Inventory Control; Inventory Management Information System; Safety Stock; Web-Based System

Abstract

Digital transformation in public administration requires integrated and efficient personnel information systems. However, personnel management at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office of Simalungun Regency remains semi-manual and fragmented, resulting in process inefficiencies, data inconsistencies, and limited information accessibility. This study seeks to develop and assess a web-based personnel information system by applying the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach to enhance service quality and optimize the user experience. The UCD method was applied iteratively through context analysis, user requirement specification, solution design, and usability evaluation. The developed system integrates geofencing-based attendance with real-time location monitoring, workflow-based leave management, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI)-based performance evaluation within a centralized platform. The usability assessment using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 30 respondents yielded a mean score of 91.25 (Grade A), indicating excellent usability and high user acceptance. The findings further demonstrate that the integration of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles and geofencing technology contributes to improved attendance accuracy, administrative efficiency, information accessibility, and transparency in personnel management. The proposed system contributes to digital government transformation by providing an integrated and user-oriented solution for personnel administration in public sector organizations.

Abstract

Ineffective drug inventory management may result in overstock and stock shortages that disrupt healthcare services and reduce operational efficiency. This issue was identified at Klinik Pertamina, particularly in managing Lansoprazole stock, which demonstrates fluctuating demand patterns across periods. This study aims to design and implement a web-based drug forecasting system using the Single Moving Average (SMA) method to support accurate and data-driven procurement planning. The system was developed following the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Forecasting accuracy was evaluated using Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) and Mean Squared Error (MSE) as quantitative error indicators. Based on nine forecasting periods, the system produced a MAD value of 291 and an MSE value of 146,184. These results indicate that the SMA method with parameter N = 3 is capable of generating relatively stable predictions despite significant demand fluctuations in certain periods. The novelty of this research lies in integrating the SMA method into a web-based information system that automatically computes forecasting results and error metrics to support practical decision-making. Therefore, the proposed system contributes to improving inventory control, minimizing stock-related risks, and enhancing operational performance at Klinik Pertamina.
