Abstract

Paraphilias are a group of disorders related to sexual activity that society considers strange or abnormal. This causes many people with paraphilia to experience ostracism and hide their condition. Even though social media and news report on the increasing phenomenon of paraphilia, there are still many people who don't know how to deal with this condition. Economic limitations and embarrassment discourage many people from visiting specialists such as psychologists, especially since most of them live in big cities. This makes it difficult for the public to access accurate information and early diagnosis. This factor causes people with possible paraphilia to be less aware of their condition and reluctant to seek treatment. This study uses additional methods such as forward chaining and Bayes' theorem to overcome the uncertainty of diagnosis and increase the level of accuracy. This expert system can assist the community in carrying out an accurate self-diagnosis to detect possible paraphilia. This system is capable of diagnosing 8 types of paraphilia with 31 symptoms.

Abstract

Tempat bersejarah, bangunan tua, museum, tempat ibadah, wisata pedagang kaki lima, danau buatan dan lain sebagainya menjadi daya tarik utama yang bisa dinikmati oleh setiap pengunjung kota Medan. Namun potensi ini harus dibantu promosi dan implementasi pengenalan destinasi menarik, termasuk penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dan metode Location Based Service (LBS), harus mendukung potensi destinasi tersebut. Integrasi realtime dari objek virtual yang ada dan dihasilkan komputer dengan objek dunia nyata dikenal sebagai augmented reality. Kemudian dengan adanya layanan LBS dapat digunakan untuk untuk menentukan suatu tujuan atau area. Penulis mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kajian literatur sebagai bagian dari metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Pembangunan sistem dibuat dengan Rapid Application Development (RAD), yaitu versi kustomisasi cepat dari model waterfall dengan pendekatan pembuatan komponen. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan adalah analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan sistem dan implementasi sistem.

Abstract

One of the pharmacy installations located in the Medan city area was tasked with overseeing the management of pharmaceutical inventory for public health facilities, ensuring adequate stock levels, and processing medication-related data, including receiving supplies and LPLPO forms from 41 Public Health Centers. Supervisors at the pharmacy installation were responsible for dispensing medications, while medication managers at the Public Health Centers handled medication requests by completing LPLPO forms and sending them to the installation. Issues arose regarding the accuracy of medication data within its operations, encompassing aspects such as initial stock, receipt of medications, inventory management, medication disbursement (including usage, damaged, or expired items), remaining stock, medication requests, and discrepancies between reported and actual medication quantities. The objective of this study was to establish a web-based data processing system utilizing the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) methodology. The DRP approach offered significant insights for forecasting medication stock demands and effectively guided the pharmacy installation in meeting the medication needs of the Public Health Centers. Furthermore, the DRP method shed light on the distribution process costs, thus serving as a valuable tool for enhancing cost efficiency and effectiveness. Results obtained through the DRP approach provided a more efficient distribution process, yielding a notable 93% reduction in expenditure. Additionally, the DRP method successfully anticipated future requirements by employing structured calculations that delineated demand levels experienced by each Public Health Center, accounting for the distinct needs of each facility.

Abstract

The technological advancements of the past have transformed various sectors, including information, education, and commerce. Many utilized the internet to enhance business and trade efficiency. Pantai Gading Village was a significant contributor to agricultural production. Its residents traditionally sold agricultural products locally, resulting in a narrow market scope. Consequently, a web-based E-commerce platform was developed using the User Experience Design Process to aid farmers and expand the market for agricultural products in the village. E-commerce facilitated cost reduction for companies, consumers, and management while enhancing service quality and speed. Through this platform, farmers could promote and sell their products online, overcoming the limitations of the local market and enhancing the village's global visibility. User Experience Design (UXD) improved user satisfaction with products through enhanced usability, accessibility, and satisfaction in interactions. This approach yielded designs that were neat, simple, intuitive, flexible, and appealing, providing users with a unique experience and differentiating products or services from competitors. The author of this study employed the Research and Development (R&D) methodology and the Waterfall development method. The system developed incorporated user experience design processes derived from questionnaire results. Users expressed the need for features such as live chat for each product, shipping options, displaying reviews, and offering Cash on Delivery payment method. This system facilitated and streamlined the marketing of agricultural products, thus boosting sales in Pantai Gading Village.

Abstract

PT. Union Confectionery, a long-established company in the confectionery production industry, had encountered significant challenges in managing employee career progression, including transfers, demotions, and promotions. The primary issue faced was the difficulty in conducting objective employee performance assessments and determining the appropriate criteria for career development. These assessments involved various complex factors such as work experience, discipline, education level, age, job performance, attendance, teamwork, and work ethics. To address these challenges, this study proposed the implementation of a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) utilizing the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method for criteria weighting and the Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) method for ranking decisions. The implementation of this system was expected to assist the management of PT. Union Confectionery in making more accurate and transparent decisions, while also improving employee satisfaction and operational efficiency. This research also compared previous studies that used similar methods for performance assessment, albeit with a narrower focus, specifically at the supervisory level. The findings from this study were anticipated to provide a comprehensive and innovative solution for employee career management across all levels of PT. Union Confectionery’s organization, as well as contribute to the development of more effective human resource management practices.

Abstract

The advancement of computer technology has developed rapidly and has been applied in various aspects of life. At that time, computers were considered one of the most efficient tools in supporting technological development. At the Office of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (OI-OIS) in Medan City, the process of applying for Building Permits (BP) was still conducted manually and had not been computerized, resulting in slow and inefficient licensing processes. Applicants were required to fill out forms manually and deliver physical documents to the village and sub-district offices, which extended processing times. Furthermore, application reports were often piled up, hindering prompt and accurate handling. The lack of efficiency in managing applicant data further exacerbated the situation and slowed down the completion of applications. Therefore, an integrated digital system was needed to expedite and facilitate the submission and management of IMB applications. This research aimed to develop an Android-based Information System for Building Permit Applications at DPMPTSP in Medan City using the R&D (Research and Development) method. It was hoped that this application would make it easier for staff to manage IMB application data. The research results indicated that the development of the Android-based Information System for Building Permit Applications successfully addressed the issues encountered in the previously manual IMB application process. This application expedited and simplified the filling out and submission of applications, eliminating the need for applicants to deliver physical documents. Additionally, the management of applicant data became more efficient and computerized, reducing the backlog of reports and speeding up the verification process.

Abstract

Kesultanan Deli Medan merupakan suatu kesultanan megah yang didirikan di Kota Medan oleh kesultanan Ma’Amun Al Rasyid pada tahun 1890 dan dinamakan dengan Istana Maimun. Beberapa sultan dalam Istana Maimun yang sangat berpengaruh adalah Sultan Mahmud Al-Rasyid, Sultan Ma’Moen Al Rasyid, Sultan Amaludin Al Sani Perkasa Alamsayah, Sultan Osman Al Sani Perkasa Alamsyah, Sultan Deli Azmi Perkasa Alam Alhaj dan Sultan Otteman Mahmud Perkasa Alam. Mereka mampu memberikan pengaruh signifikan di bidang ekonomi khususnya perkebunan. .Salah satu kebudayaan yang mencolok adalah peninggalan Kesultanan Deli yang ditandai dengan berdirinya Istana Putri Hijau di pusat kota sebagai salah satu simbol ciri khas Kota Medan. Dan ada beberapa peninggalan Kesultanan Deli lainnya di simpan di Istana Maimun. Banyak diantara masyarakat baik kalangan anak-anak, remaja maupun dewasa yang masih belum mengenal tentang sejarah Kesultanan Deli serta peninggalannya, karena kurangnya dokumentasi berupa foto yang sangat minim serta naskah sejarah riwayat Kesultanan Deli yang jelas membuat kebanyakan masyarakat masih kurang mengenal Sultan Deli yang pernah berkuasa di Istana Maimun, dan juga kurangnya minat baca pada masyarakat tentang sejarah Kesultanan Deli yang masih di dominasi oleh buku, sehingga menyebabkan masyarakat kurang tertarik untuk mempelajarinya. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sekarang yang dapat menarik perhatian khalayak umum adalah Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality atau lebih dikenal dengan realitas tertambah dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah teknologi yang menggabungkan benda maya dua dimensi dan tiga dimensi ke dalam sebuah lingkungan nyata tiga dimensi lalu memproyeksikan benda-benda maya tersebut dalam waktu nyata. Augmented Reality atau disingkat dengan AR adalah perwujudan dari benda di dunia maya ke dalam dunia nyata baik dalam dua dimensi ataupun tiga dimensi.

Abstract

Palm oil productivity is a key factor in maintaining the stability and sustainability of Indonesia's agribusiness industry. The fluctuation in yield at PTPN IV Kebun Bah Birung Ulu, which increased from 43,308 tons in 2020 to 44,028 tons in 2022 and then decreased to 34,643 tons in 2024, highlights the need for a more accurate monitoring system. These fluctuations are influenced by weather, fertilizer usage, plant infections, and plant age. Manual record-keeping without digital system support also increases the risk of errors and complicates production monitoring. This study aims to develop a web-based palm oil productivity prediction system using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm. Five years of daily historical data, including plant age, fertilizer usage, rainfall, infection rates, and harvest results per afdeling, were used as model input. The research process includes data collection, preprocessing with Min-Max normalization, data splitting into 80% training and 20% testing, and training the LSTM model with two LSTM layers, two dropout layers, and one Dense layer. Model evaluation using Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) shows that the model can predict productivity with good accuracy, with the best RMSE for each target variable achieved at different epochs. The 2025 prediction results indicate a stable or declining trend influenced by plant age, fertilizer application, rainfall, and infection rates. The developed web-based system features real-time monitoring and data visualization, providing a more efficient solution for production management and strategic decision-making in palm oil plantations.

Abstract

This study designs a web-based online menu ordering system for the UMKM Solo Fried Chicken (SFC), located on Jl. Binjai KM.10.5, Paya Geli, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. The system is built using PHP and MySQL, with a responsive design to allow customers to place orders anytime and anywhere. The applied technology aims to address several issues previously faced by UMKM SFC, such as slow and inefficient manual ordering processes, long queues, and order recording errors that affect service quality. Additional problems include the lack of available menu information, the absence of a recommendation system to assist customers in choosing menus, and the unavailability of a digital system for recording transactions and sales reports. The main problem addressed in this study is how to build a web-based online ordering system that not only simplifies transactions but also accurately recommends menus based on customer preferences. As a solution, this research implements the Item-Based Collaborative Filtering method to recommend menus based on the purchasing patterns of other customers with similar preferences. Based on the calculations, the system recommends the top three most relevant menus for each main menu item, such as Combo Original Paha for Ayam Paha, and Kidz 3, which frequently appears as a recommendation due to its similarity with many customers' preferences. This system is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce errors, accelerate service, and provide a more personalized ordering experience. Key features developed in the system include online ordering, menu recommendations, sales reports, and transaction recording, which are visualized through a Use Case Diagram and Flowmap

Abstract

Potensi investasi memegang peranan penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu daerah. Setiap daerah berupaya menarik investor untuk menyuntikkan modalnya. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi daya tarik investasi suatu daerah antara lain kualitas infrastruktur, komitmen daerah dalam mendukung pengembangan peluang investasi, serta pengaruh faktor-faktor seperti persepsi risiko, pengetahuan, motivasi, modal minimum investasi, preferensi risiko, dan pengembalian bunga investasi. Sistem Informasi Geografis adalah sebuah rangkaian terstruktur dari perangkat keras komputer, perangkat lunak, data geografi, dan personel yang disusun dengan efisien untuk mengumpulkan, menyimpan, meng-update, memanipulasi, menganalisis, dan menampilkan berbagai jenis informasi yang terkait dengan geografi. Tujuan utama dari penggunaan SIG adalah memudahkan akses terhadap informasi yang telah diproses dan disimpan dalam bentuk atribut spasial, serta untuk keperluan lainnya selama data yang diolah memiliki referensi spasial. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan SIG telah memberikan dampak positif dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk pengendalian investasi dan manajemen informasi geografis. Pada metode penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan beberapa cara untuk mengumpulkan data dan analisis data yang diperlukan seperti penelitian lapangan yang terdiri dari pengamatan, wawancara, dan peneliti Pustaka. Metode pengembangan data yang diterapkan adalah metode waterfall, yang merupakan salah satu dari beberapa model pengembangan aplikasi yang menekankan pada urutan dan tahapan sistem secara terstruktur dan sistematis. Pada tahap penelitian ini, peneliti merancang sistem informasi geografis pengajuan wilayah potensi investasi yang akan mempermudah pendaftaran melalui sistem  dan memudahkan masyarakat dalam mendaftarkan wilayahnya. Setelah melakukan riset di Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Kota Medan, Setelah melakukan riset di Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Kota Medan, peneliti membuat suatu sistem informasi geografis wilayah potensi investasi yang memiliki fitur tampilan data wilayah, formulir pengajuan, tampilan data pendaftar, penambahan data wilayah serta dilengkapi dengan fitur pendukung seperti login, pencarian data wilayah, detail data wilayah, filter data pendaftar, dan detail data pendaftar. Setelah dilakukannya pengujian, sistem tersebut berhasil dalam menjalankan semua fungsinya dan sistem ini dapat memudahkan warga Kota Medan dalam mendaftarkan wilayah mereka untuk investasi potensial. Pengujian sistem juga menunjukkan tidak adanya kesalahan, memperkuat kehandalan sistem. Peneliti berharap penelitian ini dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan pendekatan yang lebih mutakhir.
