Abstract

The Community Service Program was implemented with partners of the governments of Padukuhan Beneran, Purwobinangun, Pakem and the Students Community Service Program. The Community Service Program Team assisted the Padukuhan Beneran community in utilizing their yard for planting vegetables in pots. This is done to achieve food security in the form of the community being in a position where food needs for their households are adequately met. The goal of this Community Service Program is to encourage the community to make good use of their yards in order to maintain family food self-sufficiency. Yard land utilization is a strategy for increasing food independence because yard land has the potential to provide family food. This Service Program consists of three activities: counseling on community food security, counseling on the use of yard land for vegetable cultivation, and training on planting vegetables in pots.

Abstract

Since its inception, the 2019 coronavirus disease (Covid-19) outbreak has become a major health problem. At the same time, countries worldwide have been waiting for a Covid-19 vaccine to be sufficiently available. When the Covid-19 vaccine became available, several countries began to adopt mandatory Covid-19 vaccination policies. However, mandatory Covid-19 vaccination has received strong opposition from the start. Rejections have emerged from various parties, including from libertarians. The researcher observes that the current research attempting to analyze the mandatory Covid-19 vaccination still revolves around the perspective of human rights and utilitarianism. Then, this study aims to explore and find out how the libertarian perspective toward mandatory vaccination. Normative research methods with conceptual and comparative approaches were used in this study. After analyzing secondary data sources with prescriptive analysis methods, this study finally succeeded in finding that mandatory Covid-19 vaccination has its place, legitimacy, and justification on the ideological side of libertarianism. It is because libertarians accept that the government may require a mandatory vaccination program against Covid-19. In addition, due to the libertarian framework, the government is still justified in enforcing coercive policies that violate the rights of certain individuals if the policy is necessary to avoid greater harm to others.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tentang Penguatan Satgas PPA dalam Menyelesaikan Kasus Tindak Kekerasan Terhadap Anak di RW 18 Leles Condongcatur adalah program yang diajukan untuk memenuhi kinerja dosen di UMY. Tujuan dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan penyadaran kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya menciptakan kehidupan yang harmonis dalam keluarga dan masyarakat serta menghindari terjadinya konflik dalam keluarga dan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Tema pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini difokuskan pada antisipasi terhadap tindak kekerasan terhadap anak. Sebagaimana yang sering diberitakan di berbagai media massa bahwa tindak kekerasan terhadap anak dapat terjadi di berbagai daerah, baik yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap anaknya sendiri maupun terhadap anak orang lain. Melalui metode yang bervariasi di antaranya observasi, sosialisasi, FGD, maupun pendampingan, diharapkan hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat mencegah terjadinya tindak kekerasan terhadap anak. Penguatan kelembagaan masyarakat melalui Satuan Tugas PPA dilaksanakan melalui simulasi dengan narasumber yang kompeten, pendampingan, dan juga dibekali dengan berbagai peraturan perundang-undangan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menjamin adanya dukungan penuh dari berbagai pihak, yaitu dari keluarga, masyarakat dan dari pemerintah. Sudah terdapat proteksi hukum yang memperkuat posisi Satgas PPA RW 18 Kampung Leles, Condongcatur melalui Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Ramah Anak di Kabupaten Sleman

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Masyarakat KKN-PPM dengan tema “Penggunaan Platform Digital untuk Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Petani”, dengan mitra program merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang tidak produktif. Masyarakat mengandalkan hasil alam yaitu pertanian dan perkebunan di lereng Gunung Merbabu lokasinya di wilayah Kabupaten Boyolali. Masyarakat di lereng Gunung Merbabu memiliki permasalahan yaitu usaha dan perkebunan tradisional yang sudah lama ditekuni tetapi tidak mengalami kemajuan atau perkembangan. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra: (1) pengenalan hasil usaha masih menggunakan cara promosi tradisional yaitu komunikasi dari orang ke orang yang telah menggunakan usaha; (2) tingkat pengetahuan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk meningkatkan hasil pertaniannya juga masih rendah. Masalah masyarakat tersebut diatasi melalui pelatihan cara pemasaran yang efektif menggunakan media sosial dan untuk masalah kedua diselesaikan melalui peningkatan kemampuan TI untuk meningkatkan hasil pertanian yang maksimal. Monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan yang diperlukan untuk dapat mengukur kinerja tersebut adalah pemahaman masyarakat tentang penggunaan TI untuk memasimalkan produk pertaniannya

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Masyarakat PKM ini dilaksanakan bermitra dengan Pemerintah Padukuhan Sembung, Purwobinangun, Pakem. Permasalahan utama mitra adalah belum adanya kemandirian ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, pengabdi selama 2 tahun berturut-turut melakukan pengabdian pada tahun 2019 dan 2020 dengan kurun waktu 4 minggu. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk membentuk kemandirian ekonomi para ibu rumah tangga dan kebersihan lingkungan. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode berupa penyuluhan kualitas batik, penyuluhan nilai ekonomi batik, dan pelatihan batik eco-print di atas media keramik. Adanya pengabdian tersebut berdampak terhadap peningkatan keterampilan Ibu-Ibu Padukuhan Sembung, dengan pelatihan variasi-variasi keterampilan membatik, sehingga mitra memiliki alternatif untuk mengembangkan jenis batik. Peserta pengabdian mengalami peningkatan keterampilan membatik eco-print di atas media keramik ditunjukkan dengan 18 orang yang sebelumnya tidak bisa membatik eco-print di atas media keramik kemudian setelah pengabdian dilakukan 18 orang tersebut bisa membatik eco-print di atas media keramik. Pelatihan ini melengkapi keterampilan peserta dalam variasi media batik eco-print, setelah sebelumnya telah diadakan pelatihan berbagai metode batik eco-print dan membatik batik eco-print di atas media kain.  This Community Service Program is carried out in partnership with the Government of Padukuhan Sembung, Purwobinangun, Pakem. The main problem of partners is the absence of economic independence. Therefore, for two consecutive years, devotees carried out service in 2019 and 2020 for four weeks. The purpose of this devotion is to form the economic independence of housewives and the cleanliness of the environment. This service uses batik quality counselling, batik economic value counselling, and eco-print batik training on ceramic media. This service's existence impacts the improvement of the skills of Padukuhan Sembung Mothers, with training on variations of batik skills so that partners have alternatives to develop types of batik. Service participants experienced increased eco-print batik skills on ceramic media, as shown by 18 people who previously could not batik eco-print on ceramic media. Then after the service, the 18 people could batik eco-print on ceramic media. This training complements participants' skills in various eco-print batik media after training on various methods of eco-print batik and batik eco print batik on cloth.

Abstract

The Village Minister Regulation No. 21 of 2020 on general guidelines for village development and village community empowerment was enacted to carry out Article 131 paragraph (1) of the Government Regulation concerning Village Law and was issued to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This research aims to discover and examine village development to achieve The Village SDGs according to village minister regulation No. 21 of 2020 by conducting interviews with related parties in Tirtonirmolo Village using normative and empirical juridical methodologies. This research examined three problem formulations: village minister regulation No. 21 of 2020, the obstacles, and the village government’s efforts. The 2022 village development plan in Tirtonirmolo village to achieve village SDGs followed the stages in village minister regulation No. 21 of 2020. However, there were obstacles to its implementation, particularly at the SDGs data collection stage. The village government has attempted to address this by constantly coordinating with village assistants, engaging IT-savvy human resources to assist with SDGs data collection activities, manually collecting data, and holding the Musrenbangdus.

Abstract

After 24 years of reform, the people passionately anticipate direct general elections as a process of power transition and evaluation of the performance of political parties over the previous five years. Similarly, the registration and verification phases of political parties participating in the 2024 Election, which began on Friday, July 29, 2022, and ended on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, have concluded for the 2024 Election. The requirement for verification of political parties is an effort to improve the institutions of political parties to make them more professional in their management, as well as to verify the readiness and fulfillment of the requirements of political parties, both new and those that have participated in previous elections. In addition, if the registration and verification of political parties process proceeds smoothly, the subsequent stages will also go smoothly. One is to minimize or prevent violations of election criminal acts that can diminish the wisdom and efficiency of the 2024 Election process and stages. This study uses normative and empirical research methods and qualitative analysis to examine the relationship between the registration and verification of political parties and efforts to prevent election crime violations. This study demonstrates that verifying political party candidates can assist electors in selecting credible and competent public officials. However, verification provisions and procedures can increase the chance of election crimes and electoral misconduct. Therefore, the election commission (KPU) and Bawaslu must be resolute and unaffected by any interference that could harm the integrity of elections and democracy. The community is also responsible for supervising and providing aspirations so that election regulations do not diminish enthusiasm for conducting elections with integrity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji kedudukan state auxiliary organ yang merupakan Lembaga negara resmi negara tetapi tidak dijelaskan dengan rinci kedudukan state auxiliary organ dalam konstitusi.  Pembagian kekuasaan pada cabang-cabang khusus kekuasaan dalam negara hukum bertujuan untuk menghindari terpusatnya kekuasaan pada satu titik yang berakibat kesewenang-wenangan. Indonesia tidak menerapkan pembagian kekuasaan trias politica secara murni. Di Indonesia lembaga negara terbagi menjadi constitutional state organ dan state auxiliary organ. Constitutional state organ memiliki kedudukan yang sangat jelas dalam ketatanegaraan, tetapi state auxiliary organ tidak memiliki kedudukan yang jelas.  State auxiliary organ sendiri terbentuk dengan berbagai macam variasi bentuk yang berdampak terhadap ketidakjelasan kedudukannya. Metode analisis deskriptif dipergunakan dalam penelitian hukum normatif untuk menganalisis data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui kajian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa state auxiliary organ di Indonesia memiliki berbagai kedudukan. Kedudukan state auxiliary organ dapat ditentukan melalui kedudukan berdasarkan aturan pembentuknya, kedudukan berdasarkan independensi kelembagaannya, dan kedudukan berdasarkan tugas dan fungsinya. Kata Kunci: constitutional state organ, state auxiliary organ, trias politica

Abstract

This PKM Community Service Program is being carried out in collaboration with the governments of Padukuhan Tawangrejo, Purwobinangun, Pakem. The UMY PKM team will assist the Tawangrejo Educational Tourism Village Pioneer Team, which has struggled to build and develop the Tawangrejo educational tourism village concept. This Service Program is carried out through a Workshop on Tourism Village Management and Establishment and Field Trips to review the Tawangrejo Area, which will be used as a tourist destination. The workshop was held to improve the Tourism Village Pioneer Team's understanding of managing and establishing a tourist village. The field trip results were then discussed, as was the possibility of structuring the tourist location area and the projection of the establishment of a tourist village, which was then documented in the documentation "Plan for the Establishment of the Tawangrejo Tourism Village." This document will serve as a guideline and direction for the Tourism Village's establishment and future development.

Abstract

Value-added tax disputes dominate tax disputes in Indonesia, one of which is a dispute over input tax that does not meet formal requirements and does not correspond to actual reality.​ This doctrinal research uses regulatory, conceptual, historical, case, and interpretive approaches; the data analyzed are secondary, namely laws, court decisions, and literature studies, which are interpreted to make conclusions and recommendations. The results of the study show that in the input tax dispute over the advance payment returned by the tax authorities, the tax invoice cannot be taken into account because the transactions listed in the tax invoice do not correspond to reality. The opinion of the Tax Court Judge, which the Supreme Court confirmed, was that the tax invoice could be taken into account because, in substance, the taxpayer had already been charged Value Added Tax by the transaction counterparty. Article 5A paragraph (2) of the Value Added Tax Law already regulates the Value Added Tax mechanism for the provision of taxable services that are canceled but does not yet regulate the refund of advance payments for taxable services that have not been provided, for this reason, it is recommended that this be added.
