Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness and attractiveness of using game application media to increase students' learning motivation. This research was conducted in Medan, North Sumatra because the teaching and learning activities (KBM) carried out at the school, especially in fiqh subjects, had used games and applications, it was just that they were still limited to using Microsoft PowerPoint media so that it still seemed less effective. This type of research uses research and development methods or it can also be called research and development. While the sample uses the Dick and Lou Carey development design method. While the samples were taken by class VII students of SMP IT Nurul Azmi Medan, using a one-group pretest and post-test design pattern. The data used is the daily test values ​​before and after being treated, then analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that the game application-based learning media used had a high level of effectiveness and attractiveness. The existence of fairly high interest and motivation to learn shows that there is a high interest of students in teaching and learning activities, especially during fiqh subjects. This finding is supported by field facts where the average daily test scores of students increased by 18.49% from 69.96% to 82.90%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of game application learning media on Islamic Religious Education materials. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) approach of Brog and Gall mode. The subjects in this study were students of class X MAS al-Washliyah Stabat, while the object of this research was the development of game-based learning media. The data collection instruments used were observation and questionnaires. The results showed that the feasibility level of game application learning media according to material experts was categorized as valid with a score of 86, media experts were categorized as very valid with a score of 91 and linguists were also categorized as valid with a score of 83 so that a cumulative score of 86.7 was obtained with a valid category. The level of practicality of the game application learning media was carried out to 20 students of class X on the learning material of aqidah morals who were experts in the field of Islamic education, the results obtained were responses in the use of media with honest method that was beautiful as a form of application of the commendable nature contained in the moral material obtained a score of 94,2. For the development of effective application-based learning media from the application of this game media, namely, the material presented is easier to understand, teachers from the schools studied also considered this media suitable to be applied because it is more practical.

Abstract

Scientific development within UIN North Sumatra Medan must lead to efforts to create Wahdatul Ulum. However, on the other hand, the map of lecturer distribution from recruitment patterns to lecturer transfers and rotations still experiences many obstacles, this is because there is no integrated policy, where authority can be exercised completely by the Faculty of Science, Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, FITK UIN North Sumatra, Medan. This research aims to describe the scientific parental knowledge of lecturers at FITK, North Sumatra State Islamic University, Medan. This type of research uses research and development (RnD). This research concludes that the results of product effectiveness testing in website-based scientific parental application development research are 0.001 ≤ 0.05. This means that these results show that using this media will be more effective and practical to use. This shows that the product resulting from research into the development of website-based scientific parental application media, namely the "scientific parental information system", is effective in increasing lecturers' scientific parental knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis website untuk mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama Islam di Politeknik Negeri Medan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang efektif dan interaktif yang dapat meningkatkan literasi agama Islam serta mengukur pemahaman melalui tes evaluasi. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan mengikuti model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dan melibatkan berbagai tahapan, termasuk analisis kurikulum, identifikasi target audiens, pengembangan konten, pengujian, dan evaluasi. Media pembelajaran ini dirancang untuk mendukung beragam gaya belajar dengan fitur interaktif, konten yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, dan responsif terhadap berbagai perangkat. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui tes pemahaman dan literasi agama Islam, serta melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa sebagai responden. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini memenuhi kriteria praktikalitas dan validitas yang tinggi, dengan tingkat literasi dan pemahaman yang signifikan yang dicapai oleh pengguna dengan hasil rata-rata validasi 90.87%. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Politeknik Negeri Medan melalui pemanfaatan media berbasis website yang inovatif dan efektif.

Abstract

The School Literacy Movement (GLS) which is being promoted by the MTsN 2 Medan school which aims to increase students' interest in books, even if it is only a sheet and frees them to read any book. However, not all students are enthusiastic about reading literacy, even though the school has made extracurriculars based on reading and writing. The research method used was descriptive research using a survey approach. The subjects studied were all students at MTsN 2 Medan from grades VI, VII, XI, however, it was narrowed down to 30 people, with 10 samples taken at each grade level. Collecting data in the study was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data obtained in this study were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis and focused on using the Miles & Huberman model which consisted of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that the reading literacy activities carried out by MTsN 2 Medan schools provide good results and the growing interest in reading and writing of students. 'an. And the school also makes every class and corner of the school in the form of slogans that are easy for students to read and each class is provided with bookshelves that make it easier for students to read.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the influence of KIE (communication, information, and education) through leaflets and video media on adolescents’ knowledge and attitude toward pornographic exposure. The research used quasi experimental method. The population was all Grades VII and VIII students of SMP Negeri 45 Medan, and 60 of them were used as the samples, which consisted of 30 respondents in the leaflet group and the other 30 respondents in the video group. The analysis showed an influence of counseling with leaflet media about pornographic exposure on students’ knowledge (p=0.000) and attitude (p=0.000). There was an influence of counseling with video media about pornographic exposure on students’ knowledge (p=0.0000 and attitude (p=0.000). Video media was more effective in increasing knowledge (p=0.000) and attitude than leaflet media in counseling about pornographic exposure. It is recommended that the students be more proactive in counseling about pornography which influences reproductive health and uses leaflets and videos as the media to increase their behavior in forestalling pornographic exposure.

Abstract

Keberhasilan sebuah Pendidikan akan terlihat Ketika dapat diterima dan diterapkan oleh peserta didik. Namun dalam hal ini, tentu saja peranan guru sangat penting terutama dalam penggunaan media. Kegiatan belajar dan mengajar akan lebih mudah mencapai keberhasilan apabila dilaksanakan menggunakan metode, media dan strategi yang baik. Karena jika dibandingkan antara pembelajaran menggunakan media dan pembelajaran tanpa media pasti lebih membosankan. Hal ini menyebabkan tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai dengan baik. Jika dilihat dari banyaknya jenis mata pelajaran yang diampu di sekolah, tampaknya pelajaran PAI menduduki peringkat terendah dalam penggunaan media teknologi. Hal ini menjadi pusat perhatian bagi kita bahwa perlu adanya peningkatan kemampuan penggunaan media bagi guru PAI. Ketika membahas media dan metode Pendidikan, peserta didik pada saat ini lebih menyenangi penggunaan teknologi sebagai media belajar. Hal ini dikarenakan kondisi anak yang memang hidup dalam masa teknologi seperti saat sekarang ini. Minat belajar Ketika menggunakan media teknologi tentunya akan berbeda dengan penggunaan media manual berupa buku dan papan tulis. Tapi Ketika seorang pendidik mampu mengkreasikan pembelajaran menggunakan media teknologi pasti akan menaikkan minat belajar anak. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan modul perangkat pembelajaran integrasi PAI dan sains, kepraktisan modul alat pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan PAI dan Sains serta efektifitas modul perangkat pembelajaran integrasi PAI dan Sains dalam Meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian R&D (Research and Development) pendekatan ADDIE. Subjek yang digunakan merupakan siswa kelas VII SMP Swasta Islam An-Nizam Medan sementara objek penelitiannya adalah kemampuan dalam mengembangkan modul perangkat pembelajaran integrasi PAI dan Sains. Tes, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi adalah bentuk instrument yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kelayakan modul dievaluasi melalui validasi ahli materi dan ahli perangkat. Persentase validasi ahli materi mencapai 52,5%, termasuk dalam kategori cukup valid, sedangkan validasi ahli perangkat mencapai 72,5%, termasuk dalam kategori valid. Skor rata-rata keseluruhan validasi adalah 62,5%, dengan kategori valid. Adapun kepraktisan modul diuji melalui uji terbatas dan uji lapangan. Persentase kepraktisan dari uji terbatas adalah 78,33%, termasuk dalam kategori praktis. Sedangkan dari uji lapangan, persentasenya adalah 89,02%, termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Skor rata-rata keseluruhan kepraktisan adalah 83,67%, dengan kategori sangat praktis. Sedangkan untuk efektivitas modul dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa diukur dengan normalized gain (N-Gain) sebesar 0,52, yang termasuk dalam kategori efektif. Dengan demikian, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan modul perangkat pembelajaran integrasi PAI dan Sains efektif dalam memperbaiki pencapaian prestasi belajar siswa.
