Abstract

Pelatihan cara penggunaan aplikasi wordwall untuk membuat media pembelajaran interaktif diadakan oleh Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Medan untuk para pendidik anak usia dini. Pelatihan yang terselenggara di Hotel Griya ini mengikutsertakan guru-guru dari PAUD se-Kota Medan. Layanan kali ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang bagaimana menggunakan wordwall dalam menyiapkan media pembelajaran sehingga dapat menjadi solusi untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dengan menjelaskan melalui materi dan praktik serta memberikan pembaruan yang lebih menarik karena wordwall adalah aplikasi pendidikan yang dinanti untuk menarik minat siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Para peserta mengikuti kegiatan secara langsung setelah pemateri mempresentasikan pengetahuan teoritis atau informasi tentang wordwalls. Penjelasan teori disampaikan oleh pemateri melalui slide powerpoint, dan peserta praktik langsung menggunakan alat dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah penggunaan wordwall. Pendidik dapat memanfaatkan wordwalls dengan membuat sendiri materi pertunjukan, media, atau alat penilaian dari aplikasi wordwalls, dan pendidik mengetahui perkembangan terkini pemanfaatan media pembelajaran. Hasil wawancara yang dilakukan sebelum kegiatan pelatihan membuat hal ini sangat jelas, penjelasan beberapa guru menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak guru yang masih asing dengan penggunaan wordwalls, baik secara teoritis maupun praktis. Jumlah guru yang tidak mengetahui wordwall sekitar 95%. Guru yang mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan wordwalls secara keseluruhan mampu menggunakan wordwalls di kelas dan memahami teorinya.

Abstract

Minimnya niat untuk membaca di Indonesia menjadikan Indonesia mempunyai indek literasi yang lemah. Oleh karena itu, Indonesia telah disurvei menjadi negara yang ke 62 tingkat literasinya dari 70 negara. Dan karena itulah penulis mengangkat tulisan ini dan dilatar belakangi oleh kenyataan yang ada di Indonesia, karena tingkat literasi di Indonesia itu sangat kurang, kurangnya itu tidak ada di lingkungan sekolah, di lingkungan keluarga juga. Perlunya membangun minat membaca anak dimulai dari usia dini. Masalah umum dalam dunia pendidikan adalah informasi yang tidak berhubungan dengan apapun acara rumah dan sekolah dan kurangnya pertukaran informasi antara sekolah dan rumah. Literasi dini merupakan keterampilan dan kemampuan anak-anak usia dini terkait dengan membaca dan menulis. Kemampuan literasi dini harus dimiliki anak, karena jika anak memiliki kemampuan keterampilan membaca pertama yang baik, anak memiliki kemauan untuk belajar dan sukses ulama di sekolah formal. Dalam pengembangan literasi awal Anak memang tidak bisa lepas dari peran orang tuanya, terutama ibu. lebih banyak waktu berinteraksi dengan anak-anak dibandingkan dengan seorang ayah yang harus bekerja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan. Seorang ibu harus memiliki informasi yang cukup tentang literasi dini untuk melakukan lebih banyak kegiatan keserbagunaan di lingkungan rumah. Teknologi dapat menghubungkan hubungan antara sekolah dan rumah serta memberikan kesempatan bagi guru dan keluarga dapat berbagi dan memperluas kesempatan belajar, memberi dan menerima informasi mendorong tumbuh kembang anak, membangun kemitraan dan memperkuat keterlibatan keluarga. Keterlibatan orang tua di sekolah sebagai keterlibatan dan partisipasi aktif orang tua di sekolah dan anak-anak, yang mengarah pada perolehan keterampilan anak-anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah dijelaskan keterlibatan orang tua dalam kompetensi digital pada pendidikan anak usia dini di taman kanak-kanak.

Abstract

Ada beberapa tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini, yakni : 1.) untuk megetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan GEDGET (gerakan budaya gemar literasi) di pondok pesantren tahfidz Ibnu Aqil, 2.) keefektifan kegiatan GEDGET dalam meningkatkan minat baca santri pondok pesantren tahfidz Ibnu Aqil, dan 3.) untuk mengetahui hasil kegiatan GEDGET dalam upaya meningkatkan minat baca santri di pondok pesantren tahfidz Ibnu Aqil. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pemerolehan sumber data adalah dari data primer dan sekunder. Data primer didapat dari kepala sekolah, guru, pustakawan dan santri, sedangkan data sekunder didapat dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa kegiatan GEDGET (gerakan budaya gemar literasi) di pondok pesantren tahfidz Ibnu Aqil dilakukan selama 1 bulan, dengan melibatkan seluruh santri tingkat tsanawiyyah yang berjumlah 129 orang. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat baca santri di pondok pesantren tahfidz Ibnu Aqil, hal ini di perkuat dengan data dari perpustakaan yang menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah anak yang berkunjung ke perpustakaan. Kegiatan ini mendapat respon yang positif dari seluruh santri. Pihak sekolah juga telah menyiapkan reward bagi santri yang paling banyak menyelesaikan bacaan bukunya dan mampu mempresentasikan ulang hasil bacaannya tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dari kegiatan literasi, hambatan dan usaha yang dilakukan sekolah dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan minat baca siswa pada Madrasah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa sekolah dasar kelas V MIS Nurul Fadilah Desa Bandar Setia Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat 1). Kegiatan literasi berperan dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan budaya membaca siswa,  2). Hambatan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi di sekolah bertitik pada sarana dan prasarana, metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif 3). Usaha yang dilakukan oleh para guru dalam mengatasi hambatan yaitu dengan memberikan pemahaman mengenai literasi, mengupayakan memperbaiki, mengadakan sarana dan prasarana dan mengadakan kegiatan perlombaan sebagai sarana pembiasaan literasi.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan mengkaji secara konseptual (teoretik) bentuk strategi pembelajaran hadis dan penerapan media pembelajaran hadis. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pemerolehan data dan analisanya dilakukan menggunakan bahan referensi. Hasilnya, pembelajaran hadis dapat diterapkan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman melalui bantuan media dan pendekatan teknologi, sehingga dapat dirasakan dengan munculnya aplikasi pendukung pembelajaran, seperti (1) Ensiklopedia Hadis Kitab 9; (2) hadis dalam buku digital; (3) Jawami’ al-Kalim; (4) Aplikasi One Day One Hadis; (5) WhatsApp Group; (6) Powerpoint; (7) Fast Stone Capture; (8) Youtube. Selanjutnya, penerapan strategi al-hadis dapat diklasifikasikan; (1) Strategi Pembelajaran Ekspositori, meliputi metode diskusi, metode ceramah, metode resitasi, metode tanya jawab. (2) Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif, meliputi card sort, jigsaw learning, foster comment, concept mapping, reading aloud, teks acak, practice rehearsal pairs, true or false, active knowledge sharing, dan index card match.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the roles of leadership, efforts, and obstacles faced by the school principal in enhancing the competency standards of graduates at Galih Agung Private High School, Kutalimbaru. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research location is at Galih Agung Private High School, Kutalimbaru. The primary data sources for this research are the School Principal, the Vice Principal of Curriculum, the Vice Principal of Facilities and Infrastructure, and the teachers at Galih Agung Private High School, Kutalimbaru. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique involves data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and examination of data validity using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The research findings indicate that: 1) The role of the school principal's leadership in enhancing the graduates' competency at Galih Agung Private High School is demonstrated by setting a good example for educators, educational staff, and students. 2) The efforts made by the school principal in improving the graduates' competency at Galih Agung Private High School have been effective by collaborating with other campuses, consulting with psychologists, and planning special class programs. 3) The obstacles in improving the quality of education at Galih Agung Private High School include a lack of cooperation between parents and the school, where some parents are not very supportive of their children's abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the management of extracurricular activities in the formation of students' character, namely extracurricular activities in character education which are very important to gain direct experience. Learners are actively involved and provide enough time outside of effective class hours so that value education is more accommodated through extracurricular activities. This research uses descriptive qualitative research using case study method. This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 21 Kota Tebing Tinggi with two sources of data, namely secondary and primary data with data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and then data verification. To check the validity of the data, the techniques used are source triangulation, method triangulation, and theory triangulation. The results of this study reveal the findings: 1) extracurricular activity planning in the formation of student character, 2) implementation of extracurricular activities in the formation of student character, 3) assessment of extracurricular activities in the formation of student character. It was concluded that, in the process of planning extracurricular activities carried out according to what was targeted by the school. Extracurricular activities are carried out every Monday to Saturday outside of school hours and do not interfere with the ongoing teaching and learning process in the classroom so that students can follow their interests and talents. In extracurricular activities the implementation has been determined and regulated by the coach. Extracurricular activities for new methods or improving old methods, and also provide motivation in the form of criticism and suggestions that are conveyed by coaching to students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness and attractiveness of using game application media to increase students' learning motivation. This research was conducted in Medan, North Sumatra because the teaching and learning activities (KBM) carried out at the school, especially in fiqh subjects, had used games and applications, it was just that they were still limited to using Microsoft PowerPoint media so that it still seemed less effective. This type of research uses research and development methods or it can also be called research and development. While the sample uses the Dick and Lou Carey development design method. While the samples were taken by class VII students of SMP IT Nurul Azmi Medan, using a one-group pretest and post-test design pattern. The data used is the daily test values ​​before and after being treated, then analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that the game application-based learning media used had a high level of effectiveness and attractiveness. The existence of fairly high interest and motivation to learn shows that there is a high interest of students in teaching and learning activities, especially during fiqh subjects. This finding is supported by field facts where the average daily test scores of students increased by 18.49% from 69.96% to 82.90%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of game application learning media on Islamic Religious Education materials. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) approach of Brog and Gall mode. The subjects in this study were students of class X MAS al-Washliyah Stabat, while the object of this research was the development of game-based learning media. The data collection instruments used were observation and questionnaires. The results showed that the feasibility level of game application learning media according to material experts was categorized as valid with a score of 86, media experts were categorized as very valid with a score of 91 and linguists were also categorized as valid with a score of 83 so that a cumulative score of 86.7 was obtained with a valid category. The level of practicality of the game application learning media was carried out to 20 students of class X on the learning material of aqidah morals who were experts in the field of Islamic education, the results obtained were responses in the use of media with honest method that was beautiful as a form of application of the commendable nature contained in the moral material obtained a score of 94,2. For the development of effective application-based learning media from the application of this game media, namely, the material presented is easier to understand, teachers from the schools studied also considered this media suitable to be applied because it is more practical.

Abstract

Scientific development within UIN North Sumatra Medan must lead to efforts to create Wahdatul Ulum. However, on the other hand, the map of lecturer distribution from recruitment patterns to lecturer transfers and rotations still experiences many obstacles, this is because there is no integrated policy, where authority can be exercised completely by the Faculty of Science, Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, FITK UIN North Sumatra, Medan. This research aims to describe the scientific parental knowledge of lecturers at FITK, North Sumatra State Islamic University, Medan. This type of research uses research and development (RnD). This research concludes that the results of product effectiveness testing in website-based scientific parental application development research are 0.001 ≤ 0.05. This means that these results show that using this media will be more effective and practical to use. This shows that the product resulting from research into the development of website-based scientific parental application media, namely the "scientific parental information system", is effective in increasing lecturers' scientific parental knowledge.
