Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of financial ratios on share prices in the banking sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The approach in this research is to use a quantitative approach and based on its objectives, this type of research is causal, namely research that explains the influence of an independent variable on the dependent variable. The independent variables in this research include Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return On Assets (ROA) and the dependent variable in this research is Stock Price. The population of this research is banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, totaling 46 banking issuers. The sample determination procedure uses a non-probability sampling method, namely in the form of purposive sampling. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique with certain considerations. Based on the selection results, there were 20 banks that met the criteria. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio have a negative effect on stock prices, Return On Assets have a positive effect on share prices.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of financial ratios and cash flows on financial distress conditions in retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. The independent variables tested included Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA), and Cash Flow from Operations (CF), with Financial Distress (FD) measured using the Altman Z-Score. The method used is multiple linear regression. The research uses a quantitative approach with secondary data from the financial statements of retail companies listed on the IDX during 2020–2024. The sample was selected by purposive sampling based on the criterion of declining profits for two consecutive years. Financial distress is measured with the Altman Z-Score. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression to test the influence of independent variables on financial distress. Multicollinearity, normality, and heteroscedasticity tests were performed to ensure the validity of the model. The results showed that CR, DER and CF had no significant effect on FD, only ROA had an effect on FD. These findings confirm the importance of managing financial ratios, especially on asset ratios, to reduce the risk of financial distress, which is a reference for managers and investors in financial decision-making.

Abstract

The aquaculture sector is a strategic component in Indonesia's marine development, but its sustainability faces serious challenges such as environmental degradation, limited access to finance, and low adoption of environmentally friendly practices. This study aims to analyze the influence of Blue Economy Financing (BEF) on Sustainable Aquaculture (SA), considering the mediating role of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors. The study uses an explanatory quantitative approach using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) method, based on sample data of 120 seaweed farmers in the coastal area of South Sulawesi. The results of this study show that BEF strongly supports the sustainability of sustainable aquaculture. However, ESG mediation has no effect on increasing the role of BEP in the development of SA. Although the model has adequate predictive capabilities for sustainability, the influence of BEF on ESG is not strong enough to explain and convince the public, investors and the government for the development of SA. To optimize the role of ESG as a catalyst for sustainability, supporting strategies such as institutional strengthening, technological innovation, and integrated policy interventions are needed. This research confirms that BEF is an important instrument in encouraging sustainability transformation in the aquaculture sector. These findings provide practical implications for the development of a more adaptive blue financing scheme in supporting Indonesia's sustainable marine development agenda.
