Abstract

This study aims to analyze competitive advantage as a variable that mediates the effect of market orientation on marketing performance. This research population is 113,000 SMEs (Small And Medium Enterprises) located in Malang City, which are engaged in food processing, handicrafts, and clothing business units with an observation sample of 100 SMEs. The data analysis technique used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling. The results of this study indicate that SMEs' performance will increase if they can carry out processes and activities related to creating and satisfying customer needs. Besides, market-oriented SMEs contribute to competitive advantage by creating product uniqueness, product quality, and competitive prices, ultimately affecting the performance of SMEs. In order to improve SMEs' performance, efforts must be made to develop marketing strategies, such as paying attention to market orientation, focusing on customer orientation, competitor orientation, and inter-functional coordination, and developing or innovating new products.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine the effects of destination image, facilities, and accessibility on tourists' revisit intention to the Simpang Lima Gumul area in Kediri Regency. Design/Methodology/Approach – This study employed a quantitative explanatory research design. Data were collected from 155 visitors to the Simpang Lima Gumul area aged at least 17 years using a non-probability purposive sampling technique. The relationships among the variables were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Findings – The results indicate that destination image, facilities, and accessibility each have a positive and significant effect on tourists' revisit intention. These findings suggest that favorable destination perceptions, supported by adequate facilities and convenient accessibility, are essential drivers of tourists' intention to revisit and contribute to destination sustainability. Originality/Value – This study contributes to the tourism marketing literature by integrating destination image, facilities, and accessibility into a single empirical model within the context of a developing local tourism destination. The findings extend the understanding of revisit intention in regional tourism and provide practical guidance for destination managers in prioritizing destination branding, infrastructure improvement, and accessibility enhancement to foster sustainable tourist loyalty.

Abstract

Modern cooperatives must professionalize services, strengthen reputation, and retain customers in competitive markets. This study contributes to cooperative management literature by explaining how brand image converts service quality and social influence into customer loyalty. Using a quantitative explanatory design, questionnaires were collected from 190 customers of a modern cooperative in Malang Regency, Indonesia, and analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The results show that service quality and social influence positively affect both brand image and customer loyalty. Brand image also positively affects customer loyalty and partially mediates the effects of service quality and social influence on loyalty. These findings confirm that cooperative customer loyalty depends on reliable service, favorable institutional perceptions, and community influence. Managers should integrate service professionalism, community-based communication, and consistent brand-building initiatives to strengthen sustainable customer relationships.

Abstract

Indonesia’s online food delivery market continues to expand, yet intense competition from established platforms prevails. This study contributes to the Stimulus-Organism-Response framework by explaining how e-service quality and consumer innovativeness build customer loyalty through brand trust. A quantitative causal survey was conducted among 130 Shopee Food users in Malang City, Indonesia, using purposive sampling and a structured five-point Likert questionnaire. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS. The findings show that e-service quality and consumer innovativeness strengthen both brand trust and customer loyalty. Brand trust also increases customer loyalty and mediates the effects of e-service quality and consumer innovativeness on loyalty. These results indicate that customer loyalty in the online food delivery context develops when reliable digital services and consumers’ openness to innovation generate trust. Shopee Food managers should improve service reliability, introduce relevant digital innovations, and reinforce brand credibility to sustain customer loyalty.
