Abstract

This study aimed to develop and validate a project-based e-module on molecular shapes integrated with HyperChem computational media to enhance students’ digital literacy skills. The study employed the Plomp development model, which is a framework for educational design that consists of preliminary research, prototyping, and assessment phases. The participants were undergraduates enrolled in a basic chemistry course. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, practical questionnaires, and student learning activities. The validity of the e-module was assessed using Aiken’s V, and practicality was assessed using descriptive percentages. The results showed that the average Aiken’s V value was 0.89, indicating high validity. The practicality test conducted with students yielded an average score of 87.84%, indicating that it was very practical. These findings indicate that the developed HyperChem-integrated project-based e-module is valid and practical for supporting chemistry learning, particularly in improving students’ digital literacy and understanding of molecular shapes.

Abstract

PURPOSE - This study analyzes the influence of macroeconomic variables and global stock indices on the IHSG during 2017–2023. The research is motivated by IHSG fluctuations amid changes in inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, and global market dynamics, reflecting investor responses to both domestic and international economic conditions. Prior studies have produced inconsistent results, highlighting the need for further investigation.METHODOLOGY - This research applies a quantitative approach using secondary monthly data from January 2017 to December 2023, totaling 84 observations. The independent variables consist of inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, the Hang Seng Index, and the Nikkei 225 Index, while the IHSG serves as the dependent variable. Data analysis includes classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, model feasibility testing, and partial hypothesis testing using the t-test.FINDING - The findings reveal that inflation and the Nikkei 225 Index have a positive and significant effect on the IHSG, whereas the exchange rate has a negative and significant impact. Interest rates and the Hang Seng Index show positive and negative relationships, respectively, but are not statistically significant. These results suggest that domestic price stability and Japan’s economic conditions significantly influence the Indonesian stock market, while exchange rate volatility tends to weaken IHSG performance

Abstract

The younger generation plays an important role in increasing the quantity and quality of entrepreneurs in Indonesia. However, the majority of young generation do not have a formidable entrepreneurial spirit to be able to face business challenges in the future. Therefore, socialization activities about the importance of fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in the younger generation are very much needed. Community Service Activities (PkM) in the form of socialization are carried out in Pringrejo Village, Pekalongan District. This activity was attended by Karang Taruna of Pringrejo village. The activity phase includes identification, socialization, and evaluation. The identification results at the initial stage showed that the majority of participants did not own a business. While the majority of participants who already have a business to pursue business in the culinary field. At the evaluation stage, there was an increase in the number of participants who understood the importance of an entrepreneurial spirit from 24% of the total participants at the time before the socialization was carried out to 84% after the socialization was carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of capital structure and profitability on firm value, considering firm size as a moderating variable. Capital structure and profitability are considered important components in assessing financial performance and investment attractiveness. Firm size is assumed to have the potential to strengthen or weaken the relationship between these two main variables on firm value. This study used a sample of 25 companies from the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. The analysis was conducted using a multiple regression method using a fixed-effects (FE) approach to test the direct influence and moderating role of firm size. The results show that capital structure and profitability have a positive and significant influence on firm value. However, firm size was not proven to moderate the relationship between capital structure and profitability on firm value

Abstract

The banking sector is a key foundation of the Indonesian economic system. The stability and contribution of this sector are significantly influenced by bank financial performance and the dynamics of banking stocks in the capital market. Based on this, this study aims to investigate the effect of banking financial performance, as measured by the loan-to-deposit ratio (LDR) and return on assets (ROA), on stock returns. This study also includes the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) as a moderating variable to assess whether CAR strengthens or weakens the relationship between LDR and ROA on stock returns. The research sample consists of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020 to 2024. The analytical method used is multiple regression with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach. The analysis results show that ROA has a positive and significant effect on stock returns, with a t-statistic of 2.00, which is significant at the 5% level. Furthermore, CAR is proven to moderate the relationship between ROA and stock returns, indicated by a t-statistic of -1.9, which is also significant at the 5% level. In contrast, LDR did not show a significant effect on stock returns, and CAR failed to moderate the relationship between LDR and stock returns.

Abstract

This article examines the practical implementation of a contractual agreement within the context of an evaluation study focusing on the International Class Program (ICP). The ICP aims to enhance global learning experiences for students through structured international partnerships. The study explores the effectiveness and challenges of the contractual framework in facilitating program evaluation. Drawing on qualitative and quantitative data from stakeholders involved in the ICP, including administrators, faculty, and students, the analysis highlights key outcomes and areas for improvement. This study explores the significance of contractual agreement in international class program evaluation, emphasizing their role in establishing clear terms and conditions, mitigating risks, and executing research ethics. The study investigates the process of establishing contractual agreement and highlights the importance of understanding their terms. It discusses key aspects such as international class theories, characteristics of contractual agreement in evaluation research, the role of evaluators, and an export evaluation study. The study underscores the vital role of contractual agreement in facilitating research ethics and promoting smooth evaluation process. Findings suggest that while the contractual agreement provides a structured approach to evaluation, its application requires continuous refinement to align with evolving program goals and participant expectations. Recommendations are provided for enhancing the contractual framework to better support comprehensive program assessment and foster sustainable international collaborations in education.
