Abstract

The reasearch is a set of interest by the selection region head of Pati regency 2017, which only followed by a couple of candidates, Haryanto (incumbent candidate) and Saiful Arifin, to fight an empty box. The empty box on the polling station gets 25,48% votes. This votes is significant other than 9 other areas that were also only followed by a single candidates by then. In addition, the volunteer of empty box is sufficiently active to select an empty box and do a negatif campaign about incumbent’s candidate. And the prospective incumbent’s candidate to investors has been identified as one of the unchosen selecting of empty box. The methods used in this research are quantitative methods of research with statistical tests as a tool to test hypotheses. The purpose of this research is to know whether there is a partial or shared influence of a negative campaign, the prospective incumbent’s candidate to the investors, and the behavior of choosing empty box on the selection of Pati regency 2017.The results of this research indicates that there is influence between the negative campaign to behavior of choosing empty box, there is influence between the prospective incumbent’s candidate to investors to choosing empty box, and together there is influence between the negative campaign and the incumbent’s candidate to the investors to choosing empty box on the selection region head of Pati regency 2017. In a hypotheses test the influence of both variables, there are negative campaign and the prospective incumbent’s candidate to the investors, to the behavior of choosing empty box are 42,3%, and 57,7% are described or influenced by other variables beyond the research.Keywords : The Selection of Pati Recency 2017, Negative Campaign, The Prospective Incumbent’s Candidate To Investors, Behavior of Choosing Empty Box

Abstract

This research and analysis is for the sake of re-existence of the influence of equality relationship of marga / ethnicity in political system and its network as winner of Regent or commonly called with successful team 2015, and its power as political machine in Toba Samosir. The genus whose origin is the name of a person who is then named after the first name, is made so that they can understand each other from who can keep the marriage of a very clan descendant because it still has a blood relation. Then whether the political machine utilize relatives and similarities in the clan to campaign or realize the victory partner Ir. Darwin Siagian and Ir. Hulman Sitorus, MM.The research method using qualitative method. This study is a rare case elsewhere. Please note that any of these research procedures should produce descriptive data of speech and writing and the behavior of the observed. A qualitative approach is expected to produce in-depth descriptions of the words, writings, and / or observable behavior of a particular individual, group, society, or organization in a given context setting that is studied from a holistic, comprehensive, and holistic perspective. The informants were Team Success, Chairman of KPU, Regent / Vice Regent and Chairman of Adat.The research finds 3 important things that is, first how figure of candidate of Regent itself in public eye. The two ways of association of the clan network of candidate regents with political machine winning candidate pairs, and third is how the winning strategy is used. Abstract

On December 9, 2015, for the first time, the Government holds simultaneous region headelection in 264 regions, one of all is Semarang. The most important thing in the election ofMayor and Vice Mayor is participation from all local citizens who already have voting rightsincluding the voters with a disability.This research aims to know the forms and factors that influenced the politicalparticipation of person with disability in Semarang on the Mayor and Vice Mayor election ofSemarang in 2015. The method used in this research is a combination quantitative research andqualitative research method, with the techniques of data collection is questionnaires andinterviews. To determine the sample is used accidental sampling, and to determine the subject ofresearch is used purposive sampling. The result showed that there were some forms of politicalparticipation of person with disability are joining the campaign, supporting a particularcandidate and became a participatory supervisor. Meanwhile, the factors that affect the politicalparticipation of person with disability, including data entry, socialization, facilities andaccessibility.The recommendations that can be done by KPU Kota Semarang is doing socializationseparately, present an interpreter when socialization, and ensure the tools for disability on theballot. The recommendation can be done by the family of the person with disability is not hidingtheir family members with a disability. And the recommendation that can be done by LocalGovernment is improving the database of disability.Keywords: Political participation, Person with Disability, Mayor election

Abstract

The use of Instagram in political marketing strategies has become an important thing that cannot be ignored in the current digital era. Political marketing strategies begin to adopt sophisticated technology in its implementation. The existence of Instagram as a media campaign tries to overcome the weaknesses in conventional media. In order that every 2017 DKI Jakarta Gubernatorial Election candidate pairs together with his campaign team optimally uses Instagram to win political contestation.The research method used is a qualitative method. Namely in the form of a descriptive approach (explanatory) analytic with a comprehensive presentation of the results of interviews and observations and then analyzed in depth. The findings of this research are based on facts found in interviews and Instagram analysis as campaign media. Data collection through interviewing research informants, namely KPU Commissioner, Chairperson of Bawaslu, and all representatives of the campaign team from each candidates.The results of the study explain that Instagram has an important role in the 2017 DKI Jakarta Pilgub which is to reach out to first-time voters from the millennial generation (17-25 y.o.) and get public support from this audience segment. The way to package (framing) political messages in a political marketing strategy must also be adjusted to target the audience segment. In order that in packaging the content must contain important elements in it. In outline, the use of Instagram as a campaign media has two main contents, both contents that contain positive elements and content that contain negative elements. Instagram content in political campaigns that contain positive elements includes political marketing such as superior programs, interactions with the public, and political leadership figures. Abstract

A political party is one of the agents in a system called democracy. The success of a party to run a democratic system we can see through the political recruitment function. PDI-P is one of the major parties in Central Java, which has a mass base a lot. Vacancy that occurs in the DPD PDIP must immediately be filled again by the political elite recruiting a new chairman to replace.             This study used a descriptive study in which the analysis here will explain an object, phenomenon, or social background terejawantahkan research objectives in narrative writing. Research location in the city of Semarang where DPD PDIP located. Vacancy in the position of chairman of DPD PDIP become a matter of considerable interest to study, vacancy that occurs during the approaching election of the Governor of Central Java raises recruitment patterns of the political elite as well as the system used in the election of the chairman of PDI struggle to fill vacant positions.             Through this study the authors tried to describe how the patterns of recruitment conducted by PDI-P to replace the Chairman of the Council, both for five-year periods as well as filling vacant positions as last occurred in 2013. Then the researchers here also to answer how the system is performed by the Chairman of the PDI PDI Struggle for the five-year period and filling vacant positions.

Abstract

In legislative election many political parties faces the some problem, theexistence of female representation. The existence of 30% quota system and zyppersystem makes all political parties focusing on preparing their femalerepresentative even more.In this research, the writer used qualitative method which focuse onrecruitment of female representative in DPC PPP in Semarang. The result ofshows that the recruitment by DPC PPP in Semarang resulting femalerepresentative who are not to join the election itself.DPC PPP in Semarang is one of the representative of legislative election2014 in Semarang City. To prepare its female legislative representative DPC PPPin Semarang has already held a recruitment which is followed by its femalerepresentatives. The result of the recruitment is DPC PPP in Semarang can fulfillboth rules mentioned before in legislative election 2014.Most of them join the elections because of the encouragement frompolitical parties staffs. In this year election, DPC PPP in Semarang itselft lacks offemale representative. Therefore, political staffs encourages its femalerepresentative to join the legislative election 2014. The recruitment process forfemale representative done by DPC PPP in Semarang can make this partiessuccesfully join in election. Abstract

ABSTRACTEvaluation of the election monitoring movement of a milion volunteer in 2014, Central Java    Bawaslu is the body responsible for supervising the elections across regions of the unitary state of the republic of Indonesia. In efforts to reduce and prevent any violation in the 2014 election, Bawaslu involving public participation for the supervision activities through Gerakan Sejuta Relawan Pengawas Pemilu (GRSPP) With this movement existence, however, the election violation keeps coming up on the 2014 election in the Central Java Province.To discover the problem and the purpose of research, researcher used a qualitative-descriptive approach. Descriptive research is itended to explore and clarify a phenomena. The purpose of this research is to analyze the activity of Gerakan Sejuta Relawan Pengawas Pemilu at central Java. The data obtained is used to formulate recommendations as a feedback toward the sustainability of GRSPP in the future in the Central Java Province.The result of this study represents that GRSPP has not been running properly in the Central Java Province on 2014. This is caused by the less of effectiveness in creating  caring-society oversight the election supervision. The less quality of the volunteers in understanding to fill the report form of election violation and the violation itself is still noticeably high over the campaign phase. On the other hand, there are some purpose of this movement which has been already accomplished, such as enhance scientific repertoire and build up a fear feeling of the election candidates for committing violations.Recommendations can be given are: technical guidance and socialization by Bawaslu will Million Volunteer Movement Monitoring Election to the volunteers and the public, gave appreciation to the volunteers in the form of material and real, such as the provision of certificates to giving money when volunteers were enrolled find violations.Keywords: Evaluation, Gerakan Sejuta Relawan Pengawas Pemilu (GRSPP)

Abstract

General Election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Tangerang which took place on August 31, 2013 followed by five pairs of candidates contesting for the seat of Mayor and Vice Mayor. These five pairs of candidates are competing is Harry Mulya Zein-Iskandar, Abdul Syukur-Hilmi Fuad, Dedy Gumelar-Suratno Abu Bakar, Ahmad Marju Kodri-Gatot Suprijanto, and Arief R. Wismansyah-Sachrudin.Number of (DPT) Permanent Voters List Tangerang were 1,161,855 people and the number of valid votes on election day amounted to as much as 726 351. While the number of polling stations (TPS) as many as 2,921 polling stations spread over 104 villages. In the election of 2013 yesterday Tangerang victories achieved by the pair number 5 by a vote as much as 48.01%, followed by pair number 2 by a vote 26.34%, then the pair number 3 by a vote 17.10%, while the pair number 1 and 4 respectively to get the vote by 6.43% and 2.12% .Good cooperation between the winning team, volunteers, and political parties for couples Arief R. Wismansyah-Sachrudin become one of the success factors. Political strategies and political marketing are applied also proved successful and brought the couple occupying the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the period 2013-2018.Local elections is pentokohan event. In addition to a solid team, and the popularity of the candidate figure greatly affect the success of a candidate in winning the political battle.Keywords : General Election , Political Strategy , Marketing Politics , Tangerang .

Abstract

ABSTRACTIONOpportunities of the policy about the expansion which protected by UU No. 32 of 2004 article 4-8 and PP No. 78 of 2007 made a lot of local and regional elites take an advantage of these opportunities, as well as the southern of Brebes region. The expansion discourse that several years dim come back arise after the election 2012. Although, the pros and contras coloring of the expansion discourse in brebes regency, but the expansion cannot be happened without the actors role to achieve expansion. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this this research is "Who are the actors involved in the expansion plan of Brebes regency?", "What did the actors do in the expansion plan of Brebes regency ?" and "What is the purpose to be achieved from the expansion of Brebes?".This research aims to identify the actors and their activities in the expansion plan of Brebes regency and the goals of the expansion. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The primary data source was obtained through interview with snowball sampling technique, and secondary data from document, archive and other sources related to the research. Analysis techniques using analysis of qualitative data which is the analysis in the form of description, illustration and drawing conclusions on the problem analysed.From the results of this research, be discovered that the idea of expansion of Brebes regency is already discussed in 1963 by H.S.A Basori, a member DPR-GR of the Brebes District. Post-reform, demands of expansion continued by other South Brebes figures consisting of religious leaders / organizations, politicians, academics and NGO activists, Head of the Village and BPD. In the struggle, the actors make a structure dan give a socialization. While the path used is Informal and Formal. The purpose is effective and efficient services, accelerate development, manage and develope a potential in the south region, ease community control to governance, get a central funding and economic motives.The suggestion that can be given, among others; actor to continue to comply with Regulation 78 of 2007 in the process of expansion, don't leave the relevant institutions such as camat, and had to leave his ego so that the expansion process can be done well. While the recommendation for next researcher are able to see from the side of the internal conflict in the stewardship and how the readiness of the southern region community if the expantion is really happening.Keywords: Expansion, actor, role.

Abstract

Recruitment politics or political representation plays an important role in the political system of a country with a democratic political system. Because the process is determining the people who will carry out the functions of the country's political system through existing institutions. Therefore, the goal is reached or not a good political system depends on the quality of political recruitment. This study aims to examine the change recruitment pattern of legislative candidate partai keadilan sejahtera of post defined as open party for 2014 election in semarang city. PKS recruitment mechanism is the formation of Regional Committee of the executor legisltaif candidate recruitment, socialization, Networking legislative candidates by a cadre member in each electoral district, verification of legislative candidates, internal elections plenary meeting by the committee and the board of DPD PKS and Determination of candidates for the Board legisltaif Regional Board PKS and the National Election Commission. Recruitment pattern adopted by the PKS is a semi-open pattern for all the people who qualify can be selected as candidates of the party. The society, unable to register in person to the Prosperous Justice Party, but a cadre of each electoral district will conduct a search on its territory, in the sense that the entire community has no right to register as a candidate member legisltaif.
