Abstract

Voting behavior in the presidential election is a set of activities to determine thedecision in choosing the president and vice president. In the 2014, the number ofyoungvoters of presidential election were very significant to win the electioninIndonesia, about 20-30% of the total number of voters areyoungvoters. Based onsurvey of Lembaga Survei Nasionalyoungvoters behavior included in thecategory of rational approach. This study to analyze theyoungvotersbehaviorinKendalon Election of President and Vice President using sociological approach,psychological approach, and the approach of rational choice.This research is using quantitative approach with survey method. The samplingtechnique in this studyusing Multi Stage Random Sampling with 100 respondents.This study using a questionnaire to collecting data.The results showed thatyoungvoters is using their voting rights rationally.Beginner voters ignore sociological factors, they ignored age and professionalbackground of presidential candidates, but the education and gender of beginnervoters influence their political choices.Maleyoungvoters tend to choose a matePrabowo-Hatta, while femaleyoungvoters tend to choose Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla.Basedon psychological approaches, candidates figur had larger role than bearerparty. Based on rational approaches,youngvoters believe that president theyhave chosen can alleviate poverty, enforce laws, and improve welfare.For the next researcher who willconduct research on the same topic, researchershope this study can be perfected, by using a triangulation method. Keywords: voting behavior,youngvoters

Abstract

Political parties have a very important role and role in a democratic system, so that the recruitment and caderization of political parties has become a strategic function in increasing the name of political parties and increasing the number of members. Political caderization is carried out by political parties to members and not members (Harris, 2016). The internal caderizationfor the political party member is carried out by party itself, while for the expansion of the mass base external to the party can be done by the party wings (political party underbows). The role of the party wings is as a bridge for Political Parties to reach all groups of society, including youth, women and others occupation group, who are the party masses sources. Researchers are interested to study the role of women party wings in the Golongan Karya Party (Golkar) and the National Democratic Party (NasDem) to political caderuzation. The namely the wings party are Golkar Party Women's Union (KPPG) and the Malahayati Women's Guard (Garda Wanita Malahayati) from the NasDem Party. Research based on think every political party has a caderization pattern or system in accordance with the thought system and strategy developed by each political party. This study aims to explain the process of caderization female party members carried out by the Golkar Party and NasDem Party in Semarang City through the women party wings and the barriers they face. This study uses primary and secondary data sources. Data methods used are interviews and documentation. The data analysis method used was qualitative data analysis. The results showed that the cadre process was not patterned, then similarities were found in the both parties cadre process, where the authority of the political caderization function by womens party wings was more focused on efforts to expand members. The other hand, the main political caderization function by the Golkar Party and the NasDem Party itself. Women party wings held caderization role which are unstructured. The obstacles to thewomen party wings in carrying out its caderization function stems from its limited authority. The political caderizationby the Golkar Party and the NasDem Party of Semarang City, including by the womenparty wings was not running optimally, so it failed to gain significant seats and failed to deliver women's electability in the 2019 Semarang City Election. This study recommends further research in other areas.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out what government programs Semarang health for the poor, to analyze how the poor gain access to information on government programs and to find out semarang poor accessibility to health services, especially in the area of tambak mulyo. Based on research results this, the poor accessibility to health services carried out through several health programs are Jamkesmas and Jamkesmaskot. Lack of information about the program due to lack of socialization of government. Public access Tambak Mulyo is still difficult to obtain health care. This is illustrated through an analysis based on three indicators are used that access to health facilities, rates, and information on the village Tambak Mulyo not provide good access to health services for the cummunity.Keywords: Accessibility, The Poor, Health Service

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mode of violation, the factors that cause some cases are not followed up and issues handling violations that occurred in the 2014 General Election and Regional Head Election Year 2015 in Central Java. Type of research used in this research is case study research type through qualitative approach. Sources of data used in the form of primary data derived from the results of in-depth interviews of some research informants and secondary data in the form of archives and documentation. The technique of selecting informants using purposive sampling. The results of this study found that the violation modes that occurred were violations of electoral administration, violations of election criminal conduct, violation of the code of conduct of election organizers, and there were disputes between Pemilu and PHPU. Furthermore, in the case of the handling of election violation, the Election Supervisory Board still encounters several problems, namely: Insufficient Human Resources, Witness, Terpaor, and Uncooperative Reporter, limited handling time, Uncertain Evidence, and there is a difference of perspective between Institutions. Factors that cause some cases to be discontinued are: Evidence is difficult to find, limited handling time and Witness, Terpaor, and Uncooperative Reporting. The recommendation that the authors give is for the implementation of duties and authority of the Election Supervisory line from the bottom level is given optimal technical training so that in the handling of a case can be maximized. It is recommended that the recruitment of Human Resources in the Election Supervisory Majority having prior legal background or having election knowledge as well as regulations related to violations in the General Election needs to accommodate strict sanctions for violators in order to create a deterrent effect for them and fear for others to commit violations . Abstract

This research’s purpose is to identify driving factors of the election of three women candidates in DPRD at the Election of Parliament in Kudus Regency 2014. What makes the three women candidates can be selected from the many women candidates contesting Kudus Regency 2014. The type of research is qualitative descriptive. Depth interview method was used to collect the data toward all the women members of local legislative in Kudus Regency by the result of the Election 2014. Data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion and verification were used for the data processing method. The result of the research affords driving factors of the election of three candidates from the determinant factors: they dominate political asset which facilitate them to develop the network between political elites or to develop their own network, becomes a nomination at the insignificant serial number and strategic region’s election, obtain the supports from people’s trust toward the candidates for the social asset, economics asset to fund the legislative’s nomination, the best selection of the effective strategic issues as a way to convince the voters and incumbent popularity rate to bring up the credibility.Keywords: Driving Factors, Women Candidate, Elected

Abstract

Religion has a great influence on social life, including in politics. Islam, the majority religion in Indonesia, has long participated in politics, both through social organizations and political parties. Meanwhile, other religions have their views about politics, including Catholicism. The Catholic Church, as an institution of the Catholic Religion, has issued various official documents on politics, both at the world level and at various levels below, such as the Archdiocese of Semarang. These documents show that the Archdiocese of Semarang is trying to increase the political participation of its people. This research uses a qualitative method by conducting interviews with speakers, observations, and study of official documents of the Catholic Church. Political theory, political participation, and strategy are used to analyze findings in research. After conducting research, several obstacles were found, namely the lack of understanding of the political community, feeling as a minority, and the political situation that was not conducive, due to the emergence of primordial groups that gave rise to sectarian politics. The Catholic Church has a strategy, which consists of internal and external strategies. Internal strategy, targeting people and priests aims to instill understanding and knowledge of Catholic views, attitudes, and values in politics and prepare people for political contestation. Meanwhile, an external strategy in the form of cooperation with the KPU, Bawaslu, social organizations, and political parties, one of the aims is to create a conducive political climate for all groups. The researchers found that there were inhibiting factors in the church hierarchy, at the parish level, when there were lay people who had personal political interests so that the church's strategy did not reach everyone, especially those who fought in elections. Also, strategies to prepare people to participate in contestation are considered too short, only when a political year.

ABSTRACT Political dynasties can be interpreted as a power practice where family members (family Araceae) given or fixed in the sruktur power of Government so that power is only distributed among relatives, the family of blood. The village which is the smallest Government Unit also did not escape from the existence of a political dynasty. Therefore this research was conducted aiming to know political dynasty in the reign of village in Kancilan Village Kembang Subdistrict of Jepara District. In addition to knowing political dynasty, the study also to know the social and political implications of the existence of a political dynasty. This research uses qualitative research methods, descriptive with documentation and interviewing as a technique of data collection. The subject in this study are purposif. The target in this research is the head of the village of Whistler that did political dynasty, privileged residents, community leaders, as well as communities in the Kancilan Village Kembang Subdistrict of Jepara District.The results of this research show that there's actually a political dynasty in Kancilan Village Kembang Subdistrict of Jepara District for 26 years. The relationship of ruler and privileged residents greatly influences the length of this dynasty existed. Reciprocal relationships between rulers (patron) and society (the client) mutual benefit make this dynasty still exists today. But not always the political dynasty that detriment, itlooks in the village of Kancilan Village that still today families with Officials before. So many positive things that looks first at the village development program because the program always running and gettingbetter. Society tends to receive not even questioned about the political dynasty. Abstract

ABSTRACTWomen in Indonesia have various occupation backgroundsas means tofulfill their rights as human being. In this day and age, entering politics is nolonger strange for women. Politics is also free to be entered by anyone with anybackground, including celebrity. Women celebrities who participated in politicsare the object of this research. This research aims to discover the political role ofcelebrity legislator in regards to legislative function of DPR RI in 2009-2014 term.To achieve its objectives, this research uses celebrity political theory and thetheory of women's participation in public policy making. This research wasconducted using qualitative method and havedescriptive nature. The subjects werefemale celebrity legislator of DPR RI within 2009-2014 term, namely:OkkyAsokawaty, Venna Melinda, Rachel Maryam.The results of this research shows that women celebrity legislators played anactive role in the parliament’s legislative function and benefited by collegialcollective system in order to run three functions of DPR. However, the researchfinds that women celebrity legislator have not been able to perform legislativefunction in terms of personal proposal for act enactment, less strategic position inparliament for women legislators and also negative stigma of society towardswomen celebrities legislator which could potentially hamper their works.Keywords: Women Legislators, Women Celebrity, Legislative Function

Abstract

In the political arena in the district / city , competition between local and ethnic immigrants looks verystrong . Regional Head Election ( Election ) June 30, 2010 , held simultaneously in five districts / cities inLampung has prove it . The combination of Java and Lampung ethnic almost always arise until thegeopolitical characteristics of an area in Lampung could be represented on the winner of Regional HeadElection . In Metro Citie majority ethnic Javanese , for example , Lukman Hakim and Saleh Chandra Javabloody win the General Election . In Pesawaran district the ethnic composition was balanced betweenLampung and Java , the winner is Aries Password ( Lampung ) and Musiran ( Java ) . The same case is seenin East Lampung , although with suspect status , Satono , was dominate sound among 60 percents in themiddle of Java bloody . In South Lampung regency with dominant Lampung ethnic composition thanJavanese , so winning the Regents and Vice Regents elected, they are Waki Rycko Menoza SZP - EkiSetyanto . The purpose of this study is to determine " the role of ethnicity in the general election in SouthLampung regency at 2010”. The research methods are qualitative - descriptive type because descriptivestudies systematically describe a situation , problem , phenomenon , service or program , the provision ofinformation about a situation , problem , social life , or describe the attitude of the people responding to aparticular issue. The study shows a year before the General Election held in South Lampung regency ,political dynamics nomination process Regent and Vice Regent South Lampung regency preceded theexistence of rumors in the community about the pair potential between the " sons of ethnic " with " settlers " .The issue of ethnicity appears seven pairs of candidates Regent and Vice Regent South Lampung , the wholefamily tries to accommodate the heterogeneity of ethnic groups in South Lampung . Number 1 ( one ) ; H.Rycko Menoza , SE , SH , . MBA ( ethnic Lampung ) and H. Eky Setyanto ( Javanese ) won the SouthLampung Election at 2010. Theoretically ethnicity can be a serious issue in the election , but in SouthLampung at 2010, the issue of ethnicity could not be negative or even conflict access , so until the vote countends, it can take place smoothly and without significant disruption . The efforts of politicization of ethnicityin South Lampung Election can be clearly addressed by the community. Potential force of Rycko - Eky is inthe socio antrpologis adequate approach, which is combined synergistically and regardless of bad sounds tothis couple . Integrative and egalitarian approach undertaken by the couple is able to reach people's heartsas both are popular figure in the people of South , and is known to have positive social attitudes , as well asrepresenting the interests of ethnic Lampung and Java , as the majority of the population of South Lampungregency .Keywords: Ethnic, Regional Head Election, South Lampung regency
