Treatment given is utilization Ms Excel in learning eye studying method numerical . Research results This shows the average difference performance Study statistics that utilize Ms Excel in learning is 68.4 while group student Which No utilise is 80.9. Results t test shows mark significance 0.001, with a significance level of 0.05 which means There is difference performance Study statistics student between those who use it and those who don't utilise Ms Excel. So can concluded that learning with Ms Excel on statistics give influence in a way significant.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using triangle-shaped teaching aids in improving students' learning outcomes in geometry concepts, particularly triangles. The research employed a quasi-experimental approach with a "Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group" design to evaluate differences in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups. The sample comprised eighth-grade students at MTS Buaran Tangerang, divided into two groups: the experimental group using teaching aids and the control group following conventional methods. Data were analyzed using normality tests, Pearson correlation tests, and t-tests. The findings reveal that using triangle-shaped teaching aids significantly enhances students’ understanding of triangle concepts. The experimental group achieved higher average learning outcomes compared to the control group. Correlation analysis indicated a strong positive relationship between the use of teaching aids and students' learning outcomes. This study concludes that triangle model teaching aids serve as an effective learning medium to facilitate understanding of abstract mathematical concepts. The findings underscore the importance of innovation in educational tools to support more interactive and meaningful learning processes.

Abstract

This reserch aims to analyze the relationship between students’s self-efficacy and critical thingking in using artificial intelligence (AI) in Number Theory course. The method used in quantitative survey with a correlation approach. The research sample consisted of 30 students in the 5th semester of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University, Tangerang. Data was collected through questionnaires and critical thingking tests. The research result show that the majority of students are in the medium category in terms of self-efficacy, critical thingking skills, and use of AI. The correlation test shows that there is no significant relationship between self-efficacy and critical thingking on the use of AI. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference in developing learning strategies that utilize AI effectively by considering other factors.

Abstract

This research aims to examine students' mathematical critical thinking abilities based on self-efficacy in flat-sided geometric material and students are expected to be able to have self-confidence in analyzing and solving problems critically. The research was conducted at Kafah Unggul Islamic High School, Tangerang City, with research subjects selected from 6 students from 14 class X Science students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique obtained through filling out a questionnaire regarding self-efficacy was analyzed using low, medium and high criteria and continued with a written test in the form of description questions with flat-sided geometric material and interviews. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the category level of students who have high self-efficacy is 25%. The largest category is 58.33% with moderate self-efficacy and the smallest is 16.66% in the low self-efficacy category which is caused by several factors, such as experiencing difficulties when analyzing and determining the formula to use according to the question.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas IX di MTs Buaran Tangerang dapat meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada materi translasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas IX yang terbagi dalam dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, di mana kelas eksperimen (XI-Ali) diterapkan dengan model pembelajaran RME, sedangkan kelas kontrol (XI-Khalid) menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimental. Data dikumpulkan melalui post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa setelah mendapatkan perlakuan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil uji hipotesis yang menggunakan Independent Sample T-test menunjukkan nilai p kurang dari 0,05. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran RME secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Oleh karena itu, model RME dapat diadopsi sebagai solusi yang efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa, khususnya dalam materi translasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematics learning difficulties of junior high school students in the digital era. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with 25 eighth-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through a questionnaire measuring eight indicators of mathematics learning difficulties and analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results indicate that students face multidimensional difficulties, including an inability to understand basic concepts, calculation errors, and difficulties in applying formulas. Internal factors, such as low learning motivation and limited comprehension, as well as external factors, such as distractions from digital devices and a lack of variation in teaching methods, exacerbate these challenges. Although digital technology offers various conveniences, its use is often suboptimal due to students' limited ability to utilize these tools effectively.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' learning independence in math learning in trigonometric materials. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Participants in this study were students of SMK Avicena Tangerang Regency which amounted to 25 participants. The technique used in collecting data in this study is to provide a learning independence questionnaire consisting of 25 statements with 6 indicators. The data analysis technique used is with the student's answer percentage formula and is described using the criteria of interpreting the percentage of answers. The results of the analysis of each indicator of learning independence are: 1) Not dependent on others 78%, 2) Confidence 74%, 3) Disciplined behavior 70%, 4) Sense of responsibility 80%, 5) Learning initiative 72%, 6) Self-control 76%. The results showed that the overall average independence of students in learning by 75% with high categories. The results of this study provide recommendations to the school to support and optimize the improvement of student learning independence.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemandirian belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika pada materi trigonometri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Avicena Kabupaten Tangerang yang berjumlah 25 partisipan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data pada penelitian ini ialah dengan memberikan angket kemandirian belajar yang terdiri dari 25 pernyataan dengan 6 indikator. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan rumus persentase jawaban siswa dan dideskripsikan menggunakan kriteria penafsiran presentase jawaban. Hasil analisis tiap indikator kemandirian belajar yaitu: 1) Tidak tergantung kepada orang lain 78%, 2) Kepercayaan diri 74%, 3) Perilaku disiplin 70%, 4) Rasa tanggung jawab 80%, 5) Inisiatif belajar 72%, 6) Pengendalian diri 76%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata secara keseluruhan kemandirian siswa dalam belajar sebesar 75% dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada pihak sekolah untuk mendukung dan mengoptimalkan peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa.

Abstract

The development of science and technology affects the emergence of interactive learning media. Interactive learning media is expected to be able to foster students’ learning motivation and spatial abilities. This study aimed to develop learning media based on geogebra software on cubes to deveop students’ spatial ability. This study applies the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development implementation, evaluation) as a research and development model for creating interactive learning media using geogebra on cube theory. Tha sample in this study amounted to 20 students where these students had not received theory about cubes. The research data was obtained through filling out a questionnaire evaluation test for students’ responses to learning. The quality of geogebra based learning media is related to three criteria, namely validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Based on the results of the research and analysis carried out, the interactive learning media that has been developed meets good validity criteria, can be used practically in learning and is able to grow students’ spatial ability in cube theory
