Abstract

The development of educational technology has become an essential factor in solving academic problems. Educational technology can provide accessible information and delivery of material so that the learning activities carried out do not become a significant obstacle to learning effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the use of digital musical storytelling to increase first-grade elementary school student listening skills. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The research design used in this study was a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was the first graders of elementary school. Data collection techniques were direct observation and measurement techniques. The data is ana-lyzing statistically using SPSS. The results showed that there is an average difference between pretest and posttest learning outcomes, which means that there is an effect of using digital music storytelling on stu-dents' listening skills. The contribution of this study is to help students learn music courses with more fun and easier understanding.

Abstract

Technology has developed rapidly and supports various aspects of life, including education.  Many schools, especially in developed countries, often use technology in the learning process. This study aims to increase the interest in learning mathematics of second-grade elementary school students through scratch-based interactive games.  Second-grade teachers expressed the need for learning media that is interesting for students. The researcher developed scratch-based interactive games validated by experts and found to meet the appropriate criteria.  The test results using the paired t-test showed a significant mean difference between the pretest and posttest of interest in learning mathematics, indicating that using interactive games positively increased students' interest in learning.  In addition, the use of interactive games media also has a good effect in improving students' interest in learning mathematics, as shown by the results of the N-Gain test.  Therefore, this study recommends using interactive games as a practical learning media to increase interest in learning mathematics in various other classes and schools.  It can even be developed for additional lessons to increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of Learning Media and Learning Independence on the Narrative Writing Ability of Grade V Students in Gugus II, Cempaka Putih District. The experimental method was used with a target population of 261 students. The sample consisted of 43 students who were given Animated Film Learning Media, divided into 22 students of high learning independence and 21 students of low learning independence, and 43 students who were given Film Learning Media, divided into 22 students of high learning independence and 21 students of low learning independence. The results showed that Narrative Writing Ability was higher in the group given Animated Film Learning Media than in Film Learning Media (Fhitung = 13.018 > Ftabel = 3.96). Narrative Writing Ability is also higher in students with high independence than low independence (Fcount = 11.922 > Ftable = 3.96). There is an interaction between learning media and independence in students' narrative writing ability (Fcount = 61.052 > Ftable = 3.96). This research can potentially improve narrative writing learning in Class V elementary schools in Gugus II Cempaka Putih District

Abstract

The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in Indonesian education is an initiative aimed at producing competent learners with strong character and behavior in line with Pancasila values. This profile is designed to prepare democratic, productive learners capable of facing global challenges in the 21st century. The goal of this mentoring program is to integrate Pancasila values into basic education through the implementation of Multicultural Fairytales at SD Sindanglaya, Garut, West Java. The program is structured to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile, encompassing six character dimensions vital for lifelong competent and characterful learners. Utilizing a project-based learning approach, the program facilitates a holistic and contextual learning experience for teachers and students. During the implementation, from July 31 to August 3, 2023, 20 elementary school teachers participated in a series of planned activities, including field observation, training, and evaluation. The evaluation showed a substantial increase in the understanding of the Multicultural Fairytale concept, from 15% in the initial evaluation to 85% in the process evaluation, and finally to 90% in the final evaluation. This indicates the program's effectiveness in enhancing literacy and pedagogical competencies among teachers. The program also successfully sparked high motivation and enthusiasm among teachers, reflected in full attendance and a strong commitment to quality, engaging learning for students. These results affirm the importance of reinforcing a Pancasila-oriented student profile, focusing not only on cognitive achievement but also on character and attitude development. This mentoring program has made a significant contribution to the professional development of teachers and the improvement of learning quality, in line with Indonesia's educational needs in facing global challenges in the era of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

In an effort to improve students' literacy, it is necessary to have learning media that is in accordance with the times. This study aims to determine the level of need for fairy tales in supporting the Pancasila learner profile of elementary school students. The research method to be used in this research is the research and development method of the 4-D model (Four-D Model) with the stages of define, design, development and Disseminate. In this study only at the defining stage, namely conducting a field needs analysis first. Respondents in the study were 30 teachers and 50 students from eight elementary schools in Jakarta. The data collection technique was obtained by distributing a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale to teachers with 2 answer choices and open answers.  The aspects used to measure the level of teacher needs include learning objectives, learning stages, learning environment, classroom management, and classroom management. The results showed that teachers have used digital media, but still need to develop digital media that can increase student understanding. In addition, digital fairy tale media also supports the profile of Pancasila students while the results of the analysis of student needs show that the use of digital fairy tale media makes students motivated to participate in learning activities, and can easily understand abstract concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran quantum terhadap kecerdasan sosio-emosional dan prestasi belajar IPA siswa sekolah dasar (SD) di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa Sekolah Dasar berjumlah 80 orang di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis intrumen penelitian berupa kuisioner. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran quantum memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kecerdasan sosio emosional dan prestasi belajar IPA siswa.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada dasarnya merupakan suatu upaya sadar untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik secara optimal. pendidikan karakter, yaitu; membentuk pribadi anak, supaya menjadi manusia yang baik, warga masyarakat, dan warga negara yang baik, sehingga mampu mengantisipasi gejala krisis moral dan berperan dalam rangka pembinaan generasi muda. Masa Sekolah Dasar merupakan suatu masa peralihan dari kanak-kanak awal ke masa kanak-kanak akhir sampai menjelang masa pra-pubertas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa Sekolah Dasar berjumlah 40 orang di Kota Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis intrumen penelitian berupa kuisioner. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pendidikan karakter memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan diri melalui kemandirian siswa.

Abstract

Abstract Numeracy skills at elementary schools play an essential role as a fundamental foundation for students in developing logical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical skills needed to face the complexity of technological developments. This study aims to investigate the effect of using Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)-based realia media on numeracy literacy skills in Class IV students at SD Negeri Gandaria Utara 03 South Jakarta. The research method applied was a quasi-experiment. The sample consisted of IVA class students as the experimental class and IVB class students as the control class, which were selected using simple random sampling. The research instrument was a test consisting of 6 essays. The research results showed that using RME-based realia media had a significant effect on students' numeracy literacy skills. Thus, teachers can consider the use of RME-based realia media as an effective teaching tool to improve students' numeracy literacy skills. The main implication of this research is the importance of using realia in learning mathematics. Teachers and educators can utilize real and textual objects in teaching mathematical concepts to help students understand them better.

Abstract

The idea that technology can dramatically change our lives has become a public discourse both within and outside academia. Claims that technology can effect change faster than anything else in human history often convey a sense of urgency that urges us to keep up and inspire fear that parts of our society are being left behind. The cartoon humorously depicts the gap between young people who grew up with technology and older generations who seem mysterious or threatening. Technological change has created a utopian vision of a brave new world, promoting greater equality and active participation. Underlying all these conceptions of modern life is the idea that technological progress creates social changes that require new methods and practices. This study aims to generate interest in learning the social studies model used by Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectual (SAVI), and Multiliteracy students in SD Negeri 74 Bonti-Bonti students, Maros Regency. The type of research used is action research in the classroom. The subjects in this study were all 4th-grade students who took place at SD Negeri 74 Bonti-Bonti, totaling 25 students consisting of 14 boys and 11 girls. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instruments used are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study in cycle I showed that students' interest in learning increased with an average score of 63-81 with a percentage of 43% in the interest category. In cycle II, the average interest in learning was 82-100, with a percentage of 60% being very interested. It can be concluded that using the SAVI and Multiliteration models can increase the learning interest of SD Negeri 74 Bonti-Bonti Students, Maros Regency. Gagasan bahwa teknologi dapat mengubah hidup kita secara dramatis telah menjadi wacana publik baik di dalam maupun di luar akademisi. Klaim bahwa teknologi dapat mempengaruhi perubahan lebih cepat daripada apa pun dalam sejarah manusia sering menyampaikan rasa urgensi yang mendesak kita untuk mengikuti dan menimbulkan ketakutan bahwa sebagian masyarakat kita tertinggal. Kartun itu dengan lucu menggambarkan kesenjangan antara anak muda yang tumbuh dengan teknologi dan generasi tua yang tampak misterius atau mengancam. Perubahan teknologi telah membuka visi utopis tentang dunia baru yang berani, mempromosikan kesetaraan yang lebih besar dan partisipasi aktif. Mendasari semua konsepsi kehidupan modern ini adalah gagasan bahwa kemajuan teknologi menciptakan perubahan sosial yang membutuhkan metode dan praktik baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangkitkan minat belajar IPS model yang digunakan siswa Somatic, Audiotory, Visualization, Intellectual (SAVI) dan Multiliterasi pada Siswa SD Negeri 74 Bonti-Bonti Kabupaten Maros. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian tindakan di dalam kelas. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 4 yang bertempat di SD Negeri 74 Bonti-Bonti yang berjumlah 25 Orang siswa yang terdiri dari laki-laki 14 orang dan perempuan 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I terdapat minat belajar siswa meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata berada pada 63-81 dengan persentase 43% kategori berminat. Pada siklus II, minat belajar rata-rata berada pada 82-100 dengan persentase 60% kategori sangat berminat. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model SAVI dan Multilterasi dapat meningkatkan minat belajar Siswa SD Negeri 74 Bonti-Bonti Kabupaten Maros.

Abstract

Education in the digital era demands innovation in the development of learning media. One aspect that needs attention is the development of Indonesian listening skills, especially at the elementary school level. This research aims to analyze the need for Google Podcast-based learning media as an innovative solution in elementary schools. Google Podcasts is selected as a learning medium because of its ease of access and flexibility. Podcast content is prepared taking into account the Indonesian language curriculum for elementary schools. This media is designed to build students' listening skills through various types of interesting material, including short stories, songs and everyday conversations. The research method used is development research (R&D) with a learning design approach. The development model used is the ADDIE model with five development stages, including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The place of research was SDN Cipayung 05, East Jakarta. The research targets for this needs analysis were 3 Phase A teachers and 30 Phase A students who were selected randomly. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and observations. The result of this  needs analysis research shows that there is a need to develop learning media using Google Podcasts in elementary schools.
