Abstract

This study examines the digital transformation of women entrepreneurs in Makassar City with a focus on analyzing opportunities and challenges from a gender perspective. Using a qualitative method with a literature study approach, this study analyzed data from various primary and secondary sources for the period 2019-2024. The results showed a significant increase in the adoption of digital technology among women entrepreneurs from 15% to 52%. The main challenges identified include limited access to capital, digital literacy gaps, and socio-cultural factors. The fashion and craft sectors dominate the digital women entrepreneur landscape (35%), followed by culinary (30%). This study identified four key factors for the success of digital transformation: digital skills, business networks, product innovation, and market access. Women entrepreneurs who successfully adopted digital technology recorded an average increase in income of 35%. This study provides strategic recommendations for the development of gender-responsive policies and empowerment programs to support the digital transformation of women entrepreneurs in Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Dalam Peningkatan Ekonomi (Studi Pada Kelompok Tani Bawang Merah DiKecamatan Monta Kabupaten Bima). Dengan   Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif atau metode phenomenological research (fenomenologis) yang merupakan salah satu jenis penelitian kualitatif, dimana peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data dengan observasi partisipan untuk mengetahui fenomena esensial partisipan dalam pengalaman hidupnya. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil wawancara observasi dan dokumentasi menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan pertanian melalu kelompok tani bawang merah dalam peningkatan ekonomi menjadi sangat penting untuk mendukung peningkatan ekonomi Masyarakat, keikut sertaan lembaga-lembaga pemerintahan dalam hal ini dinas pertanian melalui tim penyuluh pertanian dapat membantu memberikan pengetahuan dasar dan sebagai fasilitator untuk kelompok tani bawang merah dalam memperoleh pengetahuan yang cukup dalam pengelolaan pertanianya, penyuluh juga diharapkan mampu menjadi mediator untuk menghubungkan Masyarakat sebagai pelaku pertanian dengan pemerintah sebagai penopang pertanian. Peningkatan ekonomi yang cukup baik dirasakan secara langsung oleh petani yang disebabkan oleh hasil yang diperoleh dari pertanian bawang merah memberikan dampak positif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dan perbaiakan taraf hidup Masyarakat kecamatan monta.This study discusses Community Empowerment in Economic Improvement (Study on Shallot Farmer Groups in Monta District, Bima Regency). Using a qualitative approach or phenomenological research method which is one type of qualitative research, where researchers collect data by participant observation to find out the essential phenomena of participants in their life experiences. The results of this study based on the results of observation interviews and documentation show that agricultural empowerment through shallot farmer groups in economic improvement is very important to support the improvement of the community's economy, the participation of government institutions in this case the agricultural service through the agricultural extension team can help provide basic knowledge and as a facilitator for shallot farmer groups in obtaining sufficient knowledge in managing their agriculture, extension workers are also expected to be able to become mediators to connect the community as agricultural actors with the government as a supporter of agriculture. A fairly good economic improvement is felt directly by farmers caused by the results obtained from shallot farming having a positive impact in meeting the needs and improving the standard of living of the Monta District community.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian: (1) untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis market day dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan terhadap peserta didik kelas enam pada UPT SPF SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP I Makassar, dan (2) mengetahui nilai-nilai kewirausahaan yang ditanamkan terhadap peserta didik kelas VI melalui kegiatan berbasis market day. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi, teknik keabsahan data melalui triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan pembelajaran berbasis market day dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan terhadap peserta didik kelas VI UPT SPF SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP I Makassar dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan dalam kurikulum pembelajaran berupa tema wirausaha dan penerapannya dalam bentuk materi pembelajaran serta model pembelajaran yang berbasis market day yang meliputi beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap promosi, tahap produksi, pemasaran/penjualan, pelaporan atau bagi hasil dengan melibatkan peran guru, peserta didk, orang tua, serta seluruh warga sekolah sebagai pembeli, (2) nilai-niilai kewirausahaan yang dapat ditanamkan terhadap peserta didik kelas VI pada UPT SPF SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP I melalui kegiatan berbasis market day seperti, kreativitas, rasa percaya diri, jujur, kepemimpinan, da kerja sama.

Abstract

Semakin ketatnya persaingan dalam industri makanan ringan mendorong pelaku usaha untuk menerapkan strategi yang tepat dalam menarik perhatian konsumen, salah satunya dengan memperhatikan aspek kemasan. Kemasan yang inovatif dan informatif dapat meningkatkan penjualan dan nilai tambah produk, serta dapat mejadi alat komunikasi dan strategi pemasaran yang memengaruhi persepsi konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain kemasan produk yang lebih inovatif dan menarik guna meningkatkan penjualan, serta membangun identitas merek yang kuat dan mudah dikenali sehingga dapat memperkuat posisi produk Keripik Pisang Tanduk Reguni di pasar dan membedakannya dari pesaing. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini meliputi 1 orang pemilik usaha, 1 orang ahli kemasan, dan 21 orang konsumen yang diambil berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, angket (kuesioner), dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kemasan produk pada usaha keripik pisang tanduk Reguni berhasil meningkatkan penjualan. Tingkat kelayakan yang diperoleh pada kemasan baru yaitu sebesar 85,7% atau sangat layak. Kemasan yang baru dinilai lebih menarik oleh responden, dan memperoleh respons positif dari konsumen. Selain itu, penjualan mengalami peningkatan yang terbukti saat implementasi selama 2 bulan dan juga malalui promosi dengan perolehan penjualan sebesar 37% pada bulan juli, dan pada bulan berikutnya mengalami kenaikan sebesar 13%. Ini membuktikan bahwa pengembangan kemasan pada usaha keripik pisang tanduk Reguni yang lebih menarik, informatif, dan fungsional berhasil meningkatkan penjualan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen pengguna Twitter terhadap kendaraan listrik menggunakan teknik pembelajaran mesin. Data dikumpulkan dari Twitter dengan menggunakan kata kunci terkait kendaraan listrik. Data yang diperoleh diolah melalui beberapa tahap seperti pembersihan data, tokenisasi, dan stemming. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan tiga algoritma pembelajaran mesin: Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC), dan Random Forest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma SVM memberikan akurasi terbaik dalam mengklasifikasikan sentimen pengguna. Berdasarkan analisis diagram tulang ikan, ditemukan bahwa sentimen negatif pengguna terutama disebabkan oleh delapan faktor utama: baterai, infrastruktur pengisian daya, biaya awal, jangkauan, dukungan kebijakan, kinerja, variasi model, dan keandalan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi produsen kendaraan listrik untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk dan kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal problems regarding the management of culinary businesses based on local wisdom (Case Study Of the Triple Mango Tuna Fish Floss Business). This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research, that provides an overview and description of the business managamenet implemented by the triple mango tuna fish floss business. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out by means of documentation, observation and interviews. The results of the analysis in the research show that appropriate business management that can be applied to the tuna floss business to support aggressive management is to use management that is oriented towards business development.

Abstract

In recent decades, entrepreneurship has become one of the main pillars of economic development, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Makassar City, as one of the economic centers in Eastern Indonesia, has an important role in encouraging the growth of the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector. One of the efforts made by the government and various institutions is to develop a Business Incubator Program, which aims to accelerate the growth of entrepreneurs through educational support, training, and guidance. In Makassar District, Bara-Baraya Timur Village, the development of local entrepreneurs is getting more attention. Business incubators in this area offer programs to help local entrepreneurs develop business skills, increase access to capital, and open wider networks. Although business incubators have proven successful in various countries, their implementation in each region can certainly provide different results, depending on the characteristics of the economic and social environment. In Bara-Baraya Timur Village, there are several challenges faced by one of the local entrepreneurs interviewed by the researcher, such as lack of management skills, and increasingly tight competition. Therefore, the researcher decided to conduct further research on “The influence of business incubators on the entrepreneurial economy in Makassar City, Bara-Baraya Timur Village”.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product innovation and digital promotion on purchasing decisions with Brand Awareness as an intervening variable at Fashion Businesses in Gowa Regency. In the context of increasingly fierce competition in the fashion industry, innovation, and digital-based marketing strategies are key to improving competitiveness. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS). Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who were fashion businesses customers, then analyzed using SmartPLS version 4.00 software. The results show that product innovation and digital promotion have a significant effect on Brand Awareness, with a loading factor value above 0.7 and Average Variance Extracted (AVE) meeting the validity criteria. Brand Awareness is also proven to mediate the positive influence of product innovation and digital promotion on purchasing decisions. Path analysis reveals that Brand Awareness acts as an intervening variable that strengthens the relationship between marketing strategy and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Desa Pataro, Kecamatan Herlang, Kabupaten Bulukumba, merupakan wilayah yang memiliki potensi besar dalam produksi kelapa. Namun, limbah tempurung kelapa belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal dan seringkali hanya menjadi bahan buangan. Tempurung kelapa sesungguhnya memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi apabila diolah menjadi produk inovatif, salah satunya briket arang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Karang Taruna dan Ibu PKK Desa Pataro melalui transfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah tempurung kelapa menjadi produk briket arang yang bernilai jual dan ramah lingkungan. Metode kegiatan meliputi tahap persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis pembuatan briket, pendampingan produksi, penguatan manajemen usaha, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam memahami teknik pembuatan briket secara utuh. Produk briket yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas yang baik, ditandai oleh bentuk yang homogen, kekerasan yang memadai, serta daya bakar tinggi dengan asap minimal. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas Karang Taruna dan Ibu PKK Desa Pataro dalam menghasilkan produk briket arang berbasis limbah tempurung kelapa. Program ini tidak hanya berkontribusi dalam pengurangan limbah lingkungan, tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi baru bagi masyarakat. Keberlanjutan program sangat memungkinkan dengan dukungan kolaborasi masyarakat, sehingga briket arang berpotensi menjadi salah satu produk unggulan desa di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a very large population and has abundant sources of wealth. The more developed a country, the more experts needed. There will be competition for jobs which causes an imbalance between the small number of jobs and the increasing number of job applicants. In addition, this can also increase the number of unemployed in a country. The most appropriate solution to reduce the number of unemployed is by entrepreneurship. Someone can open jobs to overcome the problem of unemployment that occurs due to the limited number of jobs provided by the government. This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effects of the influence of personality, entrepreneurship education on interest in entrepreneurship, with entrepreneurial attitudes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive explanatory type which describes the relationship between variables with a population of 153 students. The sampling technique used Proportional Random Sampling totaling 62 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University. The results of the study show that directly and indirectly the influence of personality, entrepreneurship education with entrepreneurial attitudes has a significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship. Based on the results of the research that has been done, this research can be a source of information or reference for teaching staff or lecturers in order to improve the quality of entrepreneurship education received by students and personality plays a role in improving the mindset in entrepreneurship skills.
