Abstract

Holistic education is a demand of the times amidst the complexity of global challenges, especially in forming a generation that is intellectually, morally, socially, and spiritually qualified. Islamic educational psychology is present as an approach that integrates the principles of psychology with the values ​​of Islamic teachings. This study aims to analyze the application of Islamic educational psychology in schools. The method used is a literature study with content analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that Islamic educational psychology emphasizes the balance between cognitive, affective, social, and spiritual aspects in the learning process, based on the values ​​of monotheism, sincerity, patience, gratitude, and tawakal. Its application in schools involves the formation of a conducive learning environment, learning methods that are in accordance with the development of students, and comprehensive evaluation.

Abstract

Quality education outside the home comes from schools that have a good system and education. The increasing number of private schools or integrated Islamic elementary schools (SDIT) that compete to show the superiority of the system, facilities and infrastructure in order to display a good and quality school image, is one of the factors considered and motivated by parents in sending their children to integrated Islamic elementary schools (SDIT). ). The purpose of this research is to describe the role of school image in motivating parents to enroll their children in an integrated Islamic elementary school (SDIT). This study uses a case study qualitative approach where semi-structured interviews are used to collect data from parents who enroll their children in an integrated Islamic elementary school (SDIT). The sample in this study were parents enrolling their children in an integrated Islamic elementary school (SDIT) Rumbai Pekanbaru. The results of this study show that a quality school image is needed by a school. This is a consideration for parents when they decide to choose a school, because one of the motivations of parents to send their children to SDIT Al-Ittihad Rumbai Pekanbaru is that they want their children to study in good schools with good quality schools so that their children get good learning methods and become memorizer of the Qur'an with Islamic character.

Abstract

Qur'anic recitation has excellent potential as a psychological therapy method to address mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, and depression. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of recitation through a multidimensional approach in improving individual mental well-being. The method employed is a qualitative literature study involving the analysis of relevant national and international journals. The results showed that Qur'anic recitation contributes to lowering stress levels, improving mindset, and strengthening emotional resilience through spiritual closeness. However, challenges such as a lack of understanding of the verses' meaning and indiscipline in recitation practice are obstacles that need to be overcome. This study recommends a strategy of professional mentoring, the utilization of digital technology, and the strengthening of tilawah-based communities to optimize its effectiveness. The findings reinforce the potential of tilawah as a model of Islamic psychological therapy that can be integrated into modern mental health practices.

Abstract

Student engagement merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk meraih kesuksesan pada siswa.Ketika siswa memiliki student engagement siswa akan cenderung terlibat secara perilaku, emosi dankognisi didalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga ini akan berdampak terhadap prestasi siswa.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara ilmiah hubungan motivasi belajar dan dukungan sosialteman sebaya dengan student engagement pada siswa MA Darussakinah Batu Bersurat. Sampelpenelitian adalah siswa MA Darussakinah Batu Bersurat dengan jumlah sampel 124 Siswa. Datapenelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan skala motivasi belajar, dukungan sosial teman sebayadan student engagement. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dandukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan student engagement dengan nilai R=0,693 dan nilai sig=0,000(0,000 < p 0.05). Hal ini berarti hipotesis yang diajukan oleh peneliti diterima yaitu terdapat hubunganmotivasi belajar dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan student engagement pada siswa MADarussakinah Batu Bersurat. Selain itu, dengan melihat nilai Adjust R Square maka sumbangan efektifmotivasi belajar dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan student engagement sebesar 68.8%.Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa motivasi belajar dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya merupakansalah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi student engagement siswa. Artinya dengan meningkatkanmotivasi belajar dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya pada siswa maka hal ini dapat pula meningkatkanstudent engagement.

Abstract

This study explores the perspective of Islamic psychology in responding to criminal behaviors such as theft, robbery, and corruption through three main strategies: prevention, curative intervention, and reconstruction. Using a library research design with a descriptive-analytical approach, the paper examines scholarly works related to Islamic psychology, Islamic law, moral education, and criminal conduct. The analysis indicates that preventive efforts are most effective when they are rooted in strengthening faith, moral and character development, family-based socialization, and the establishment of fair socio-economic structures. Curative interventions focus on spiritual and psychological recovery through practices such as muhasabah (self-introspection), taubat nasuha (sincere repentance), and Islamic counseling, alongside social reintegration initiatives including skills training and economic empowerment. Reconstruction emphasizes a restorative justice approach that actively involves victims, offenders, and the wider community in processes of reconciliation, healing, and the restoration of social trust. Overall, Islamic psychology offers a comprehensive framework that integrates spiritual, moral, and psychological dimensions to prevent, address, and rehabilitate criminal behavior, while providing both theoretical insights and practical strategies for cultivating just, ethical, and socially cohesive societies.

Abstract

This study explores the methodological framework of Islamic psychology, which integrates scientific approaches with Islamic values as its epistemological foundation. The employed methods extend beyond empirical and rational inquiry by incorporating faith-based approaches grounded in the Qur’an and Hadith, as well as intuitive and spiritual dimensions that are distinctively Islamic. The study examines several methodological orientations—namely scripturalist, philosophical, and Sufi approaches—in an effort to construct a holistic and authentic paradigm of psychology. The purpose of this research is to develop a methodological framework for Islamic psychology that is both epistemologically valid and practically applicable, accommodating both spiritual and scientific dimensions while offering psychological solutions consistent with Islamic principles. This research adopts an extensive literature review of both classical and contemporary sources on Islamic psychology. The findings reveal that the methodological framework of Islamic psychology has the potential to enrich the broader field of psychology through a comprehensive, integrative, and contextually responsive approach that addresses the psychological needs of the Muslim community.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental siswa merupakan aspek krusial dalam proses pendidikan, terutama saat menghadapi tekanan akademik seperti ujian. Salah satu gangguan psikologis yang umum dialami siswa menjelang ujian adalah kecemasan berlebih, yang berdampak pada penurunan fokus, motivasi, dan performa akademik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas terapi Shalat dalam mengurangi kecemasan siswa sebelum menghadapi ujian, dengan menitikberatkan pada pendekatan psikoterapi Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan mengkaji literatur dari berbagai jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa Shalat, sebagai ibadah wajib umat Islam, memiliki nilai terapeutik yang signifikan. Praktik Shalat dengan kekhusyukan dapat membantu menstabilkan emosi, meningkatkan konsentrasi, dan memberi rasa tenang serta aman, yang berkontribusi pada pengurangan gejala kecemasan. Terapi ini memadukan aspek spiritual, fisik, dan psikologis melalui rangkaian gerakan, zikir, dan doa. Implementasi terapi Shalat dalam konteks pendidikan dapat dilakukan melalui bimbingan konseling berbasis agama di sekolah, dengan menanamkan pemahaman makna Shalat secara mendalam dan melatih teknik Shalat khusyuk sebagai media relaksasi. Dengan demikian, terapi Shalat dapat menjadi pendekatan psikoterapeutik alternatif yang efektif, murah, dan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai spiritual siswa Muslim untuk mengatasi kecemasan menjelang ujian.

Abstract

Fenomena bullying saat ini menjadi salah satu bentuk deviasi sosial yang kian marak terjadi, baik di lingkungan pendidikan, pertemanan, maupun media sosial. Perilaku ini tidak hanya merusak hubungan antar individu, tetapi juga mengganggu tatanan kehidupan masyarakat secara luas. Melalui metode penelitian library research, kajian ini menelaah teori-teori psikologi modern seperti teori belajar sosial dan psikoanalisis serta landasan normatif dalam al-qur’an dan hadis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa bullying merupakan perilaku agresif yang disengaja, dilakukan berulang, dan melibatkan ketidakseimbangan kekuasaan antara pelaku dan korban. Dalam islam, bullying dipandang sebagai bentuk kezaliman yang bertentangan dengan prinsip akhlak mulia dan larangan merendahkan martabat sesama. Faktor penyebab bullying mencakup karakter individu, pola asuh keluarga, pengaruh media, teman sebaya, serta perbedaan status sosial. Dampaknya meliputi gangguan psikologis, sosial, dan akademik, baik bagi korban maupun pelaku. Pencegahan dan penanggulangan dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan kesehatan, komunikasi keluarga, pembentukan budaya anti-bullying di sekolah, intervensi psikologis seperti Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), serta kebijakan represif yang tegas. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya sinergi pendekatan psikologi dan nilai spiritual Islam dalam membangun strategi komprehensif untuk meminimalisasi praktik bullying.

Abstract

In a dynamic global era full of multidimensional challenges, education is required to focus not only on academic aspects, but also to develop the moral, social, and spiritual qualities of students in a balanced manner. Islamic educational psychology offers an integrative framework by combining theories of developmental and learning psychology with the principles of Islamic teachings. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a literature study (library research). The results of the study show that Islamic educational psychology integrates modern psychological theories such as behaviourism, cognitive, and humanistic with the principles of the Qur'an and Sunnah. The main principles applied include the development of natural potential, tawhid, exemplary behaviour (uswah hasanah), compassion (rahmah), and the process of purification of the soul (tazkiyah al-nafs). Islamic educational psychology provides a comprehensive basis for developing learning that focuses not only on cognition, but also on the balanced formation of character and spirituality.

Abstract

Reward dan punishment merupakan strategi pedagogis yang banyak digunakan dalam proses pendidikan untuk membentuk perilaku dan karakter peserta didik, termasuk dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Dalam pendidikan Islam, kedua konsep ini tidak hanya dipahami sebagai mekanisme penguatan perilaku, tetapi juga sebagai sarana penanaman nilai moral dan spiritual. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep reward dan punishment dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam serta harmonisasinya dengan pendekatan psikologi pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui kajian pustaka terhadap berbagai literatur yang relevan dalam bidang psikologi, pendidikan, dan pendidikan Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan reward dan punishment dalam pendidikan Islam harus dilakukan secara proporsional, adil, dan berlandaskan kasih sayang agar mampu membentuk kesadaran moral dan akhlak mulia peserta didik. Integrasi perspektif psikologi dan nilai-nilai Islam memberikan landasan yang lebih holistik dalam praktik pendidikan, sehingga strategi reward dan punishment tidak hanya efektif dalam membentuk perilaku, tetapi juga bermakna secara etis dan spiritual.
