Abstract

Masalah sampah masih sangat sulit ditangani, sehingga tampak seperti masalah kompleks yang saling terhubung dan belum ditemukan solusinya. Sampah anorganik sangat sulit didegradasi bahkan tidak dapat didegradasi sama sekali oleh alam, oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu lahan penumpukan yang sangat luas untuk mengimbangi produksi sampah jenis ini. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dilakukan oleh Dosen FEB dan Dosen Hukum Universitas Ngurah Rai di Dywik Bank Sampah dan lingkungan Siladan, Taman Bali Bangli yang melibatkan mahassiwa kelompok KAT 9 yang berjumlah 22 orang dan kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 15 orang PKK serta seluruh perangkat Desa Taman Bali, Bangli. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan sampah plastik yang dapat menjadi kreasi menarik, pentingnya kebersihan lingkungan, dan penerapan teknologi dalam memasarkan produk kreasi sampah plastik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode workshop dengan memetakan sampah plastik di lokasi desa dan memberikan workshop Go Store, serta diskusi di akhir kegiatan. Adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sekitar, dan menerapkan teknologi dalam melakukan pemasaran. Hasil dan simpulan penelitian dapat memberikan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan sampah plastic yang dapat menjadi kreasi menarik, pentingnya kebersihan lingkungan, dan penerapan teknologi dalam memasarkan produk kreasi sampah plastik.

Abstract

Technological advancements in the Society 5.0 era have accelerated the growth of Indonesia’s e-commerce industry, including in Keramas Village, Gianyar Regency. Shopee, as the leading platform, makes it easier for users to shop, especially for local skincare products like Scarlett Whitening. The brand is well-known for its active promotional strategies on social media and collaborations with influencers. This study aims to examine the effect of promotion on purchase decisions with customer trust as a mediating variable among Shopee users in Keramas Village. This quantitative study used a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The population consisted of all Shopee users in the village. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The findings show that promotion has a positive and significant effect on customer trust, which in turn significantly affects purchase decisions. Furthermore, customer trust significantly mediates the effect of promotion on purchase decisions. The study provides important insights for businesses to design promotional strategies that not only attract customers but also foster long-term trust.

Abstract

Online impulse buying has become an increasingly rampant phenomenon in consumer behavior, including in Gianyar Regency, Bali. This research aims to explore the influence of self-control and materialism on online impulse buying on the Shopee application in Gianyar Regency, Bali. The research method used was descriptive quantitative, with a research sample of 110 people in Gianyar Regency, Bali taken using purposive random sampling. The results of the partial hypothesis testing analysis of the influence of self-control and materialism on online impulsive buying through the t-test were proven to have a positive and significant effect. Simultaneous testing has the results of a positive and significant effect on online impulsive buying on the Shopee application in Gianyar Regency, Bali. This research can help develop more effective marketing strategies and design more appropriate policies to reduce online impulse buying in the Gianyar Regency area, as well as provide a strong basis for further research in this area.

Abstract

Sebagai tulang punggung birokrasi, pegawai ASN mengemban kewajiban dalam menjalankan kebijakan pemerintah dan menyajikan layanan publik yang optimal. Kinerja pegawai dalam birokrasi berperan penting dalam mencapai tujuan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Kinerja pegawai pada dinas kepemudaan dan olahraga perlu dioptimalkan sebab memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan potensi generasi muda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran stres kerja dalam memediasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai ASN. Penelitian ini mempergunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam riset ini ialah keseluruhan pegawai yang berstatus ASN pada Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kabupaten Gianyar yang berjumlah sebanyak 55 orang. Seluruh anggota populasi dipergunakan sebagai sampel yang disebut metode sampling jenuh. Analisis data dikerjakan dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan temuan yakni lingkungan kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap stres kerja. Stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Stres kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kerja secara langsung dapat menurunkan tingkat stres kerja, yang pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Purpose: This study intends to analyze the relationship between flexible work arrangements and job satisfaction, with a particular focus on examining whether work-related stress mediates this relationship in the context of GrabBike drivers operating in Denpasar. Methodology/approach: This study adopts a quantitative design with a correlational orientation, where data were gathered through structured survey instruments. The sample consisted of 100 individuals chosen via purposive selection according to predetermined criteria. Data analysis was carried out using SmartPLS version 3.0 by applying the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) procedure. Results/findings: Flexibility in working conditions produces positive and significant outcomes for both satisfaction and stress. Conversely, occupational stress neither shows a significant role in shaping job satisfaction nor acts as a mediator in the relationship with flexibility. Conclutions: Work flexibility directly increases job satisfaction among GrabBike drivers, without requiring mediation by work stress. Although work flexibility raises work stress levels, stress does not influence job satisfaction nor mediate the interrelation. Limitations: The study is limited to GrabBike drivers in Denpasar and uses a quantitative approach, which may not fully capture respondents' subjectiveexperiences. Contribution: Practically, the findings offer insights for online transportation service providers in formulating fair and effective flexible work policies. Theoretically, the study enriches literature on work flexibility, stress, and job satisfaction, particularly among informal workers in Indonesia’s digital economy sector.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop a model that links the local wisdom values of Panca Budhi Indriya with innovation capability to improve the competitive advantage of tourism SMEs in Bali. This study focuses on how cultural values foster innovation and strengthen market positioning. Methodology/approach: The study will be conducted in three districts/cities in Bali, involving 150 tourism SMEs in the culinary, handicraft, and local accommodation sectors. A quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design was used. Data will be collected through questionnaires developed from the literature and validated by experts. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS or AMOS will be applied to test relationships and mediation effects. Results/findings: The expected results are as follows: (1) local wisdom values have a significant positive effect on innovation capability; (2) innovation capability enhances competitive advantage; and (3) innovation capability mediates the relationship between local wisdom and competitive advantage. This study generates a tested conceptual model of culture-based SME competitiveness. Conclusions: Panca Budhi Indriya, as part of Balinese cultural heritage, represents not only tradition but also a strategic resource that strengthens competitiveness when integrated with innovative capability. Limitations: The study is limited to SMEs in the tourism sector in Bali and relies on self-reported data, which may contain biases. Contributions: This study enriches the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory from a cultural perspective and provides practical guidance for SMEs, policymakers, and tourism programs to integrate cultural values into innovation strategies.

Abstract

  This research aims to examine the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline on employee performance at Santi Mandala Resort & Spa, Gianyar. The study employs a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique involving 50 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline simultaneously and significantly affect employee performance. Partially, each variable also shows a positive and significant effect on performance. The results suggest that effective leadership, motivational strategies, and disciplined work behavior play crucial roles in improving employee productivity and organizational success within the hospitality industry.
