Abstract

Technological developments such as smartphones are internet enabled telephones which provide many functions and benefits for the wider community, not only for SMS and telephone calls but users can freely do their work, because smartphones are easy to carry everywhere and are also practical compared to laptops. and however, only a few people who use smartphones are sensitive to smartphone damage problems, such as damage to the smartphone hardware in the IC Power system, Display/Touch Screen, damaged battery, damage to the LCD, speakers, etc. so that Most people are unaware and don't care about the symptoms of damage until the smartphone is actually damaged. To be able to provide information about how to detect the type of damage by using the Excel application to find out the symptoms of damage by using the code and uncertainty factor formula. If the result is positive with a high percentage then it can be said to be certain and if the result is negative with a low percentage then it can be said not sure Someone who is not an expert or expert uses an expert system to improve problem solving abilities, while an expert uses an expert system for knowledge assistants. There are two important parts in an expert system, namely the development environment and the consulting environment

Abstract

Rapid technological advances in the era of globalization in education, requires decision-makers conducted by an objective and clear. Decision-making faculty performance appraisal using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process), is an alternative solution that could dilakukan.At faculty performance appraisal research done by pairwise comparisons between the existing criteria that include teaching, research, service and student assessment. And bring samples based on the results of the questionnaire as a lecturer of the source data. After completing the alternative assessment, the final choice will come recommended from the analysis as the ultimate alternative of faculty performance assessment itself.

Abstract

The place of coffee sales, or more commonly known as a coffee shop, not only offers coffee but also serves a variety of hot and cold beverages. Many individuals, especially young people and students, choose to spend their time in modern coffee shops to sit and relax. Currently, coffee shops are often used as places for discussions, exchanging ideas, or simply relieving stress after activities. Coffee shops have become centers of social interaction with adequate service facilities. Although coffee shops are widespread, many people are not careful in choosing them. When choosing a coffee shop, it is important to select one that not only provides a comfortable environment but also serves the best-tasting coffee. The process of choosing the best coffee shop involves considerations such as price, taste quality, service, atmosphere, and cleanliness. To address this challenge, the author deems it essential to implement a Decision Support System (DSS). DSS is a field of science that utilizes technology to assist in problem-solving and accurate decision-making, without being manipulable. In the context of this research, the author uses the OCRA and ROC methods, as both are known as objective and easily understood methods. By applying the OCRA and ROC methods, the research results show that Gen’s Semar Cafe, with a score of 1.594, is selected as the best coffee shop.

Abstract

Sistem Pemilihan dan Penetapan Harga Dalam Jasa Logistik adalah sebuah sistem yang dirancang untuk memudahkan proses pemilihan penyedia jasa logistik dan penetapan harga secara efisien. Sistem ini memanfaatkan teknologi informatika untuk mengautomatisasi proses tersebut, sehingga meminimalkan waktu dan upaya yang diperlukan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan proses pemilihan jasa logistik dan penetapan harga dapat dilakukan dengan lebih cepat,akurat, dan transparan.

Abstract

Aquina Rent Jambi, sebuah perusahaan rental mobil yang masih mengandalkan sistem operasional konvensional, menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam menjalankan bisnis sehari-hari. Sistem manual yang bergantung pada pencatatan kertas dan komunikasi melalui telepon atau kunjungan langsung ke kantor mengakibatkan proses pemesanan dan pengelolaan kendaraan menjadi lambat dan rawan kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi rental mobil berbasis mobile dengan menggunakan teknologi Progressive Web Apps (PWA) guna meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan mempermudah proses pemesanan kendaraan kapan saja dan di mana saja. Aplikasi ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna secara keseluruhan. Pengembangan sistem mengikuti metode Waterfall, dengan dukungan basis data MySQL dan penerapan teknologi PWA, sehingga mampu mengatasi permasalahan operasional yang dihadapi oleh Aquina Rent Jambi.

Abstract

Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi adalah sebuah perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Propinsi Jambi yang sedang dalam tahap berkembang, dimana dalam proses perkembangan kearah yang lebih baik dalam kegiatan akademik senantiasa mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Kemendikbud. Salah satu program hibah dari Kemendikbud yang ada pada tahun 2023 ini adalah program Matching Fund, dimana kegiatan ini adalah sebuah kegiatan kompetisi hibah yang melibatkan insan dikti (dosen) dan mitra berupa DUDI (Dunia Usaha Dunia Industri) dan Pemerintah. Dimana kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan komunikasi dan sinergi keterlibatan insan dikti (dosen) dalam penerapan ilmu pengetahuan yang dimilki dalam peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat pada khususnya. Agar para dosen memahami dengan baik apa saja yang perlu dilakukan dalam persiapan pengajuan hibah tersebut, dan bisa menjalankan dengan tepat program-program yang ada dalam program Matching Fund maka dilakukan workshop dan choacing clinic.

Abstract

The development of hotels has become an important part of the tourism industry, with the main function as a place to stay for guests. Hotels have evolved from simple structures to complex ones that offer various facilities and services to meet various guest needs. This study focuses on developing a system that can assist in making hotel selection decisions by considering various criteria such as hotel area, price, and room type. The problem discussed in this study is the difficulty in choosing the best hotel among many choices, which can be influenced by various factors. The purpose of this study is to design a system that can effectively evaluate and rank hotels based on their attributes, so that the decision-making process becomes more efficient and accurate. The MOORA method is used in this study to evaluate hotels based on their attributes. This method is very useful in situations where there are several criteria that are not mutually exclusive, allowing for a more comprehensive evaluation. This study uses a combination of data collection, definition of alternative criteria, and weighting to create a decision matrix. The results of this study demonstrate the effectiveness of the MOORA method in selecting the best hotel based on predetermined criteria. The result of this study is a decision support system that can be applied in various contexts where hotel selection is a crucial decision. This system provides a structured approach to evaluating hotels, ensuring that selection is based on a thorough analysis of the available options. This research contributes to the development of more effective decision-making tools in the hospitality industry, ultimately improving the overall customer experience.

Abstract

Scholarships are grants in the form of financial assistance given to individuals, students or students for the continuation of education. In accordance with the program guidelines issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education, it must follow the 3T principles, namely Right Target, Right Amount and Timely. Jambi Muhamamdiyah University is one of the private universities that received a quota for the scholarship, because of the large number of scholarship recipients, the university must be selective in determining who is eligible to get the scholarship. One of the methods of information technology that can support decision-making in an organization or company is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method so that it can facilitate the process of managing, sorting, comparing and selecting scholarship recipients, so as to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the work of the actors. business. The purpose of this research is to analyze and design a prototype of the Scholarship Acceptance Decision Support System with the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) Method at the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi so as to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in receiving scholarships and to assist in providing alternative decisions in the selection of scholarship recipients. This design was made using the visual paradigm and using object-based modeling techniques to describe the analysis and design of the system, namely in the form of use case diagrams, class diagrams, and activity diagrams. This research resulted in a prototype design of the analysis system and the design of a Scholarship Acceptance Decision Support System using the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method at the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi. On this basis, an integrated system is needed, it is hoped that the system can be implemented directly to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of scholarship acceptance at the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi

Abstract

The laboratory is an academic support unit in an educational institution, in the form of a closed or open room that is permanent, managed systematically for teaching and learning activities, research, experiments as well as for practical and learning activities both individually and in groups. The laboratory at the Muhammadiyah University of Jambi has limited capacity, equipment and numbers because it is not proportional to the number of students, so students cannot master this value. These limitations can be overcome by scheduling the use of space. The current schedule for computer laboratory practicum can only be seen on the paper attached to the laboratory room and for the process of borrowing the laboratory, lecturers and students must come directly to the laboratory to communicate the laboratory loan to the head of the computer laboratory to see if there is an empty schedule. From the problems above, the purpose of this study is to design a Laboratory Usage Schedule System to make it easier for lecturers and students, especially the head of the laboratory, to access laboratory usage schedules regarding borrowing empty laboratories and substitutes for learning with the prototyping system method which results in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of implementation to overcome existing problems

Abstract

According to data recorded at the end of the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, Al-Falah Jambi Islamic High School currently has 403 active students, 39 permanent foundation teachers, and 7 foundation contract teachers. With the increasing number of active students, which can be seen from the number of students at the beginning of its establishment, which amounted to 85 students, the services that must be provided and the academic atmosphere must remain conducive and maintained. Therefore, an information system strategic plan is needed that supports the school's business strategy and is aligned with the school's vision, mission, and goals to be able to advance Al-Falah Jambi Islamic High School and increase competitive advantage with other private SMA/SMK or with public SMA/SMK existing or future. The data collection technique that the writer used in this study was by means of interviews, observation, literature study, and documentation. The analytical methods used include the Value Chain Analysis, PEST Analysis, Porter's Five Forces, SWOT Analysis, Balanced Scorecard Analysis, the Critical Success Factor (CSF) Analysis, Gap Analysis, and McFarlan Strategic Grid Analysis. The targeted output of this research is to produce recommendations for an IS/IT strategic plan aimed at all parties, both the Principals, TU Heads, and ICT divisions, and can obtain future information system proposals and be mapped in development plans within a five-year period and mapped based on user units, namely HR, leadership, corporate secretary, treasurer, curriculum, inventory, and ICT, so that Al-Falah Jambi Islamic High School can increase competitive advantage with other private SMA/SMK or with existing or future public SMA/SMK
