Abstract

This study aims to improve and enhance the learning model in higher education by using a problem-based learning (PBL) model approach with a mobile-based Moodle platform. The data tested in this study consisted of 46 respondents, 20 lecturers and 26 students. The method used in this research is research and development in the Information Systems Audot Subject. The results showed that 80% of lecturers and 82.83% of students stated that this approach was practical to be used in the learning process. Therefore, this study can be a reference in the implementation of learning using the PBL approach with the Mobile-based Moodle platform at universities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT) is a financial assistance program provided by the government to people in need. The main purpose of the BLT program is to support the economy of underprivileged families. In the selection process of BLT recipients, there are several criteria that must be considered, such as the condition of the house, the completeness of the files, the number of dependents, income, and the size of the land owned. To ensure that the determination of BLT recipient eligibility is done objectively and accurately, a decision support system is needed. One method that can be used is Operational Competitiveness Rating Analysis (OCRA). Through this method, it is expected that more accurate results can be obtained in determining who is entitled to receive BLT. The results of the research using the OCRA method showed that Jimmi Nababan was the most deserving BLT recipient candidate with the first rank and a score of 1,297. Thus, this decision support system is expected to be an effective solution in determining BLT recipients who really need this assistance.

Abstract

A library is a work unit of a particular agency or institution that manages library materials, both in the form of books and non-books, which are managed systematically according to regulations so that they can be used as a source of information. Nowadays, libraries are often considered old-fashioned, thereby reducing public interest, especially students, because they are considered old-fashioned and stiff. Therefore, I wrote this article to help overcome and attract students at Muhammadiyah University of Jambi so that they can help the library increase the number of visits. This system was created with the aim of displaying an attractive login, displaying student attendance ranking data to attract interest and appeal to other students and also making it easier for students to obtain their data without having to bother asking the library. This was created using the Distributed System method with the result of increasing the number of student visits to the Jambi Muhammadiyah University Library.

Abstract

Expert systems are computer-based systems that use knowledge, facts, and reasoning techniques to solve problems that usually can only be solved by an expert in a particular field. The purpose of making an expert system for diagnosing damage to Android cellphones is to provide knowledge and information in repairing Android cellphones based on the type and characteristics of the damage that has occurred. The method used in this study is to use the forward chaining method, which aims to determine the type of damage experienced. The input needed is to choose a choice of questions regarding the symptoms that occur. The result of using the forward chaining method is the output solution in repairing damage to Android cellphones. And an expert system for damage to Android cellphones can help novice users or technicians to be able to find out precisely about the damage experienced by Android cellphones based on a selection of damage symptoms, so that repairs can be carried out quickly and precisely.

Abstract

The large number of computer users who do not have sufficient knowledge about the initial handling of hardware damage results in many computer users or an institution spending a lot of money just to repair damage that occurs to computer hardware. Therefore, this expert system application was created to assist computer users in making an initial diagnosis of a computer hardware damage experienced along with solutions to overcome the damage. The process of developing this expert system uses the knowledge method with data collection techniques used, namely interviews and observation. While the inference method used in the development of this expert system uses the forward chaining method. The application used in the development of this expert system uses the AppSheet application.

Abstract

The best teacher is a teacher who is given appreciation because he has a high achievement value. There are several specific criteria in selecting the best teacher, namely in terms of achievement, skills possessed, morals/manners, and discipline. To improve quality in the world of education, of course, a teacher is needed who will interact directly with students in the learning process which can indirectly improve the quality of education. With the interaction in the learning process, it is hoped that it will become a resource in improving the quality of education. There is also something the government is doing that is in a way to advance education, namely by empowering teachers and giving an award, especially for those who are entitled to get the title of the best teacher with achievements. Based on the results of interviews and research related to SMK Negeri 2 Medan, in determining the best teacher the assessment is still in a subjective way. This is based only on the opinion of each teacher and does not start with certain criteria, this will affect social events because the method used is not in an objective way and ends in an unfair feeling caused by subjective methods among fellow teachers who teach at the school. Therefore, it is recommended that schools must determine and agree on certain criteria in determining outstanding teachers, even though the assessment in the final process is still carried out by voting from those who have voting rights in determining the outstanding/best teachers, which of course is also carried out by teachers. The system for determining the best teacher is always a problem every year because it can create injustice among fellow teachers. Therefore, to facilitate and eliminate this unfair attitude, a decision support system (SPK) is needed which can facilitate the determination of the best teacher at SMK Negeri 2 Medan. A decision support system is an interactive computer system that can assist decision making by utilizing existing data to solve unstructured and semi-structured problems. In this SPK there are several methods, one of which is the Moosra Method (Multiobjective Optimization on the Basis of Simple Ratio Analysis) and the ROC (Rank Order Centroid) Method. The result of ROC and MOOSRA method calculation showed that Halimah (A10) obtained the highest final preference value of 14.599, making her selected as the best teacher.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance students' technical skills in database management using XAMPP, an open-source platform that integrates Apache, MySQL, PHP, and phpMyAdmin. The program was implemented through a hands-on training approach based on experiential learning, allowing participants to practice installation, configuration, and database management independently. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding of database concepts and their ability to operate XAMPP effectively. Beyond technical competencies, the program also fostered behavioral changes, increased technological awareness, and the emergence of local leaders among the participants. This initiative is expected to contribute to the development of a more adaptive and collaborative learning culture in response to advancements in information technology.

Abstract

Sektor pertanian di Indonesia telah lama menjadi sumber pendapatan penting bagi rakyat dan juga telah menyumbang pendapatan ekspor yang sangat dibutuhkan. pelaksanaan reformasi dinamis yang didukung oleh kebijakan pemerintah telah memicu peningkatan output di bidang pertanian. Namun kemajuan di sektor ini seringkali terhambat karena permasalahan yang terjadi pada pendistribusian pupuk. Pupuk memiliki peranan penting dalam peningkatan dan produktifitas pertanian. Berdasarkan penyaluran dan pengadaannya di Indonesia, pupuk terbagi 2 yaitu pupuk bersubsidi dan pupuk non subsidi. Distribusi pupuk, baik bersubsidi maupun non subsidi, seringkali tidak tepat sasaran. Persoalan ini membutuhkan solusi distribusi pupuk yang terkelola dengan baik dan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk penyaluran pupuk bersubsidi maupun non subsidi yang tepat sasaran. Masalah utama dalam industri pupuk adalah distribusi, sehingga ketika distribusinya bermasalah, maka terjadi kelangkaan. Melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, hal ini dapat diminimalisir. CV. Makmur Jaya Abadi adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi pupuk hayati, yaitu pupuk yang mengandung mikroorganisme hidup yang ketika diterapkan pada benih, permukaan tanah atau tanah, akan mendiami rezosfer atau pasokan nutrisi utama dari tanaman. saat ini dalam pendistribusian pupuk hayati kepada petani dan agen-agen dilakukan secara manual dengan mencatat berapa agen atau petani mengambil pupuk, sehingga tidak diketahui stok pupuk yang masih berada di Gudang.

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan dunia teknologi yang semakin modern, mendorong munculnya ide-ide baru. sistem yang awalnya berjalan secara manual perlahan-lahan mulai tergantikan. Teknologi kini menjadi suatu hal yang wajib dipahami, terlebih disuatu instansi dan perusahaan. Abstract

Dengan tumbuhnya beberapa usaha kecil dan menengah di suatu daerah mengakibatkan pertumbuhan perekonomian daerah tersebut akan lebih baik. Agar usaha kecil dan menengah bisa bertahan dan berkembang maka diperlukan tambahan modal yang bisa didapat dari lembaga perbankan maupun bukan lembaga perbankan.Dalam perbankan, proses penyaluran kredit tidak semudah membalik telapak tangan. Dimana proses tersebut harus melewati beberapa tahapan dan melibatkan beberapa pihak untuk mendapatkan keputusan kredit sehingga membutuhkan waktu relatif yang lama. Seperti beberapa hari waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk memproses dan menentukkan berkas yang masuk bisa dilanjutkan ke tahap survey, lalu beberapa hari waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menentukan apakah layak atau tidak pinjaman tersebut diberikan kepada pemohon berdasarkan dari keputusan pihak BWMK (Batas wewenang memutuskan kredit). Dengan lamanya waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk memproses dan menetukan kelayakan pengajuan kredit dari calon debitur maka peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian di BTPN untuk membantu merancangan sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) dalam penentuan kelayakan pengajuan dengan menggunakan metode Rank Order Centroid (ROC).Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Kelayakan Pengajuan Kredit Usaha Rakyat yang diharapkan bisa membantu dalam memberikan keputusan secara efisien dan tepat kepada pihak BTPN khususnya pimpinan.
