Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Farmer Group Empowerment and Agribusiness Training Programs on the Productivity and Income of coffee farmers in West Java. The research utilizes a quantitative approach with a sample of 200 coffee farmers and significantly positively affect ploys Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) to analyze the relationships between the key variables. The results indicate that both Farmer Group Empowerment and Agribusiness Training Programs significantly positively affect Productivity and Income. However, Farmer Group Empowerment shows a stronger impact on productivity compared to training programs, emphasizing the importance of collective action in enhancing farming practices. These findings highlight the need for an integrated approach to agricultural development, combining empowerment with technical training to ensure sustainable improvements in farmers' livelihoods. The study provides valuable insights for policymakers and agricultural development practitioners seeking to promote rural development and increase smallholder farmers' productivity and income.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor pada konsumen dalam membeli buah-buahan dan sayuran serta membandingkan pengeluaran konsumen di pasar offline dan online di Kecamatan Medan Petisah, Kota Medan. Sampel terdiri dari 100 ibu rumah tangga yang dipilih menggunakan metode accidental (pasaroffline) dan snowball sampling (pasaronline). Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan komparatif menggunakan metode analisis regresi logistik dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor harga, kualitas produk, dan kualitas pelayanan memengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Harga dan kualitas produk berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan, sedangkan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh negatif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pengeluaran konsumen, yaitu Rp1.060.370 di pasar offline dan Rp1.436.725 di pasar online, dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar Rp376.355.

Abstract

Salah satu industri pengolahan kedelai yang potensial adalah industri tempe dan tahu. Pengolahan tempe merupakan salah satu produk potensial yang dapat dikembangkan karena hingga 50% konsumsi kedelai Indonesia digunakan untuk pembuatan tempe, 40% untuk tahu dan 10% untuk produk lainnya. Terdapat beberapa industri yang berada di Desa Pulo Jantan, Kecamatan Na-IX-X, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara salah satunya industri Makmur sejahtera yang bergerak pada industri tahu dan tempe, dengan menggunakan kedelai sebagai bahan baku produksinya. Industri Makmur Sejahtera melayani permintaan di sekitar wilayah Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Hayami. Metode pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan metode kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh Adalah adanya perbedaan nilai tambah kedelai pada produksi tahu dan tempe sebesar 44% atau sekitar Rp41.831/kg kedelai yang diolah pada UKM Bapak Angga dan sebanyak 55% atau sekitar Rp41.498/kg kedelai yang diolah pada UKM Ibu Suarni.Kata Kunci: Kedelai, Produksi Tahu-Tempe, Pendapatan,kecamatan Na IX- X

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan petani padi sawah di Desa Gelam Sei Serimah, Kecamatan Bandar Khalifah, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendapatan rata-ratapetani padi sawah di desa tersebut adalah Rp27.264.417/MT dengan luas lahan ratarata 0,73 hektar. Faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadappendapatan petani padi sawah adalah benih (X2), sedangkan luas lahan (X1), tenaga kerja (X5), pestisida (X4), dan pupuk (X3) tidak berpengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui saluran tataniaga, fungsi-fungsi tataniaga, margin tataniaga, farmers share, dan efesiensi tataniaga di Desa Pondok Gajah Kecamatan Bandar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kualitataif di lakukan untuk saluran tataniaga dan fungsi-fngsi tataniaga, sedangkan analisis kualitatif untuk mengetahui margin tataniaga, farmers share dan efisiensi tataniaga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat duasaluran tataniaga di Desa Pondok Gajah, saluran tataniaga I mencakup petani dan pedagang besar, sedangkan saluran tataniaga II mencakup petani, pedagang pengepul, dan pedagang besar. Margin tataniaga pada saluran tataniaga I sebesar Rp.40.000 dan margin tataniaga saluran II sebesar Rp. 55.000. Nilai Farmers share menunjukan angka52,94% pada saluran tataniaga I dan untuk saluran tataniaga II sebesar 35,29 %. Dan tingkat efisiensi tataniaga menunjukkan angka 15,55 % pada saluran tataniaga I sedangkan saluran tataniaga II menunjukkan angka 23,33 %.

Abstract

Penelitiaan ini menganalisis untuk mengetahui besarnya pendapatan yang diperoleh petani padi tadah hujan di Desa Rampah dan menganalisis faktor -faktor yang berpengaruh pada tingkat produksi padi tadah hujan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Rampah Kecamatan Kutambaru Kabupaten Langkat. Penelitian ini dimulai dari survei, pengambilan data ke lapangan dan pembuatan laporan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan Pendapatan rata-rata yang diperoleh para petani padi tadah hujan di Desa Rampah Kecamatan Kutambaru dengan luas rata rata adalah 0,55 Ha adalah sebesar Rp. 5.882.597,16 /mt. Rata-rata produksi yang diperoleh para petani padi tadah hujan di Desa Rampah Kecamatan Kutambaru Kabupaten Langkat dengan luas rata-rata 0,55 Ha adalah 1.453,1 kg/mt. Berdasarkan hasil regresi linier berganda bahwa variabel (X1) luas lahan, dan (X3) benih, (X4) pupuk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap (Y) produksi petani padi tadah hujan di Desa Rampah Kecamatan Kutambaru Kabupaten Langkat. Sedangkan variabel (X2) tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi petani tadah hujan di Desa Rampah Kecamatan Kutambaru Kabupaten Langkat.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and understand more deeply the implementation of the no-fishing policy as an effort to achieve sustainable development goals for life below water. The research method uses qualitative with a descriptive approach with the aim of building meaning based on the views of participants. Data collection is carried out through three stages: observation by directly observing fishing activities and comparing them to the activities of the day of the fishing ban, in-depth interview stages by meeting informants and the literature study stage is carried out by collecting research results that are closely related to the research. The determination of informants was carried out purposively with the criteria of the Sabang City Community, who work as Fishermen, fishermen who know about the no fishing policy, ship-owning financiers who are closely related to fishing operations, and traditional representatives of the laot customary commander. The research findings of the communication stage, which originally prohibited fishing as part of the culture, was changed into a rule with a legal umbrella in Qanun No. 7 of 2010 concerning fisheries. The resources stage was carried out by forming an institution in charge of supervising and enforcing customary law rules, namely Panglima laot, which was further reinforced by the issuance of Qanun No. 10 of 2008 concerning the role of customary institutions. The disposition stage provides social sanctions in the form of ostracism and gives negative stigma to strict sanctions in the form of confiscation of catches and boats for three to seven days; the bureaucratic structure stage reinforces the authority of customary law and the role of Panglima laot as stated in Qanun No. 10 of 2008 and Qanun No. 7 of 2010.

Abstract

This research analyzes the added value of processing pineapple into pineapple chips in Onanrunggu I Village, Sipahutar District, North Tapanuli. This research uses the Hayami method to calculate added value, which shows that processing pineapple into chips makes a significant contribution to the local economy through job creation and increased income. The data collection method was carried out through in-depth interviews with pineapple chip producers, direct observation of the production process, and analysis of documents related to costs and income. The analytical methods used include calculating added value, profit margins and production efficiency. The analysis results show that the added value from pineapple chips production reaches IDR 11,200 per kilogram with a value added ratio of 75%. The profit margin per kilogram is IDR 1,125 with a profit level of up to 80%. The research results show that the production process involving selecting quality fruit, frying with vacuum frying technology, and attractive packaging has proven to be effective in increasing the economic value of the product. Competitive marketing strategies also play an important role in increasing product competitiveness in the market. This research highlights the importance of innovation in the processing of agricultural products to increase added value and economic welfare of society.

Abstract

The high population will have an impact on the food crisis and poverty if it is not balanced with food security. The Indonesian government must be able to formulate a national food policy that can improve food security. The food policy includes the availability of food Supplies in good quantity and quality as well as affordable food prices by the community and safe for consumption. The purpose of this study is to examine the synergy of the national food security system. This type of research is qualitative research with the aim of explaining the phenomenon by reviewing existing data. Data sources are obtained through bibliographic data from manuscripts obtained from Google Scholar and analyzed using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which is a method that uses previous evidence-based evidence through reviews, evaluations, structured evaluations, classifications and categorizations. Based on the results of the review, the results of this study include: implementing good governance as a challenge and solution to food security; food security stability also affects price and distribution policies; increasing rice production will make a major contribution to rice production. Superior rice varieties will increase food security and reduce poverty; food distribution is still not optimal so that availability in each region and prices in each region vary.
