Abstract

Setiap mahasiswa memiliki masa depan yang ingin di raih. Dalam meraih masa depan mahasiswa memiliki dasar untuk menyusun tujuan, rencana, mengeksplorasi pilihan dan membuat komitmen yang disebut dengan orientasi masa depan. Salah satu aspek yang mempengaruhi orientasi masa depan adalah optimisme. Optimisme merupakan orang yang memiliki ekspektasi yang baik pada masa depan dalam kehidupannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara optimisme dengan orientasi masa depan pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Universitas Malikussaleh. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa/i tingkat akhir Universitas Malikussaleh yang berjumlah seratus sembilan puluh delapan orang yang ditentukan melalui teknik cluster sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala alat ukur, yaitu skala optimisme dan skala orientasi masa depan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara optimisme dengan orientasi masa depan pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Malikussaleh. Semakin tinggi optimisme individu maka orientasi masa depan juga akan tinggi dan sebaliknya jika optimisme individu rendah maka orientasi masa depan juga akan rendah.

Abstract

Fathers have an important role in parenting but their involvement is still minimal. The study aimed to look at how fathers engage in parenting. The study uses qualitative methods with phenomenological approaches. Data collection uses observation and interview techniques. The results of this study showed that two subjects were not involved in parenting, while the other subject was involved in parenting such as taking an afternoon walk, which corresponds to the paternal dimension of engagement. Three subjects also still supervised the child even though they rarely played with children, it corresponded to the dimensions of accessibility/availability. Three subjects also tried to meet the needs of children such as daily needs and children's education, it is in accordance with the dimensions of responsibility. Based on psychological well-being factors, the whole subject also accepts the child's state despite the time and process. Based on personality factors, when the child makes a mistake, the whole subject is able to manage emotions well. Two out of three subjects said that childcare was a must-do together, while one subject handed childcare to the wife for work, which was part of the attitude factor. Three subjects learned sincerely to accept the condition of their deaf children as a trust from God, it goes into the religious factor.

Abstract

Mental toughness is a positive emotional reaction, especially in Malikussaleh University athletes to overcome all pressure in the training process and matches. This research aims to determine the dimensions that shape the mental toughness of Malikussaleh University athletes and the factors that influence the mental toughness of Malikussaleh University athletes. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. The research results show that based on the overall dimensions, athletes are able to control themselves against internal and external pressure when on the field, are confident in their physical and mental abilities, have a responsible attitude, never give up and make many sacrifices while being athletes such as sacrificing time, finances, energy and education. Based on factors, overall athletes are influenced by time discipline, persistence in training, self- confidence and listening to directions from the coach.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the psychological well-being of teachers who teach in coastal schools. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. This research involved one hundred and forty seven teachers who taught on the coast using non-probability sampling techniques. The data collection method uses a psychological well-being scale modified from Setiawa & Tri's research (2014). The results of the research show that the psychological well-being of teachers who teach on the Lhokseumawe coast is relatively high with a percentage of 53.7%. This shows that the teacher's psychological well-being is able to adapt to teaching, has positive relationships with other teachers, has autonomy, can adapt to the work environment, has a life goal at work and also has good personal growth. Research based on male and female gender both have high categorization, while early adulthood has higher categorization than middle and advanced adults.

Abstract

Remaja cenderung memiliki emosi yang kurang stabil dan sering kesulitan dalam pengambilan keputusan yang tepat, karena masa remaja merupakan fase pencarian jati diri yang rentan terhadap pengaruh lingkungan dan dorongan diri sendiri. Psikoedukasi diperlukan untuk membantu remaja memahami pentingnya pengambilan keputusan yang baik guna menghindari pengaruh negatif dan kenakalan remaja. Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan psikoedukasi kepada 45 siswa SMA N 1 Dewantar. Melalui materi yang disampaikan, siswa mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai tugas-tugas perkembangan remaja, terutama di tahap remaja tengah, serta pentingnya pengambilan keputusan yang tepat demi kebaikan diri. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai pengambilan keputusan yang sehat dan manfaat psikoedukasi dalam membantu mereka menghindari kenakalan remaja. Simpulan, diharapkan psikoedukasi ini dapat memberikan dampak positif dan mengurangi kasus kenakalan akibat salah pergaulan. Abstract

Salah satu dampak yang ditimbulkan pada korban bullying adalah kurangnya kemampuan individu dalam meregulasi emosi yang ada pada diri mereka. Ketidakmampuan mengelola emosi dapat menyebabkan korban bullying melakukan hal-hal negatif yang akhirnya berdampak buruk pada diri individu. Sehingga sangat penting bagi korban bullying untuk dapat meregulasi emosinya secara tepat. Regulasi emosi merupakan suatu hal yang penting untuk mengendalikan perasaan atau emosi-emosi tidak baik dalam diri korban bullying, sehingga tidak berpengaruh pada aktivitas yang lain dalam mencapai tujuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran regulasi emosi pada korban bullying di Dayah Terpadu Kota Lhokseumawe. Dengan jumlah 384 subjek. Metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif, teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik probability non sampling dengan jenis teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar santri korban bullying memiliki regulasi diri yang rendah yaitu sebesar 57%. Hal ini berkaitan dengan kemampuan remaja dalam mengelola stress dan tekanan yang muncul akbibat dari bullying sehingga belum dapat mengontrol emosi dan sensitive.  sedangkan sebagain kecil santri korban bullying memiliki regulasi diri yang tinggi yaitu sebesar 41% yang menunjukkan santri memiliki pemikiran yang positif yang dapat membantunya dalam mengelola, mengenali dan juga mengekspresikan emosi ketika dihadapkan dengan situasi yang penuh tekanan.

Abstract

Nowadays, technological advances continue to develop every year. The existence of technology makes it easy for everyone to access the internet anywhere and anytime; everyone can also use the internet at many sources, such as online games, chatting, YouTube, and many others. This research involved business administration students. The significance value (2 tailed) found was 0.000, <0.05, so there was a significant relationship between the fear of missing out (FoMO) variable and internet addiction. In addition, there was a positive correlation and a contribution between FoMO and internet addiction in business administration students with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. It signifies that if FoMO increases, internet addiction will also increase. The contribution of internet addiction to the FoMO was 52.8%. The accepted hypothesis in this study revealed that FoMO is one of the factors influencing internet addiction in business administration students.

Abstract

Early adulthood is a complex and crucial developmental phase, marked by significant changes in physical, cognitive, emotional and social aspects. In this phase, mental health becomes an important issue with a fairly high prevalence of disorders such as anxiety, depression and stress. This research explores the role of dhikr (remembering Allah) in improving individual well-being in early adulthood. Dhikr, as a spiritual practice in Islam, has psychological benefits such as calming the soul, reducing stress and anxiety, increasing spiritual closeness, concentration, mental health, gratitude, and strengthening social relationships. Through psychoeducation, students are enthusiastic and motivated to implement dhikr in their daily lives in order to achieve better mental and mental well-being. The research results show that dhikr has great potential in facilitating positive development and mental health in individuals in early adulthood.

Abstract

The search for meaning in life is a fundamental aspect of an individual's psychological well-being. Adolescents, as individuals in the process of building their identities, often face challenges in discovering their lifes meaning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a psychoeducation program based on logotherapy (meaning-centered therapy) in enhancing students' understanding of lifes meaning and its impact on happiness and self-confidence. This study employs a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design without a control group. The research sample consists of students from SMP Negeri 7 Sawang, selected using the purposive sampling technique. The psychoeducation program was conducted through lectures, discussions, and reflections on lifes meaning, with evaluations carried out using a meaning-in-life scale instrument. The results indicate a significant increase in students' understanding after participating in the psychoeducation program. Students who previously had a low understanding of lifes meaning showed improved scores after the intervention and demonstrated more positive and confident attitudes. The conclusion of this study is that the logotherapy-based psychoeducation program effectively enhances students' understanding of lifes meaning. The implications of this study suggest that similar interventions can be integrated into school curricula to support students' psychological well-being. Future research is recommended to use a larger sample and consider experimental methods with a control group.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran intensi menyontek pada mahasiswa di Universitas X. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa aktif di Universitas X dari tahun 2016 sampai 2020 berjumlah 205 subjek. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Uji instrumen yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dengan teknik corrected item-total correlation dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensi menyontek pada mahasiswa di Universitas X berada pada kategori negatif. Hal ini memiliki makna bahwa mahasiswa di Universitas X, memiliki attitudes toward the bahavioral yang negatif dimana mahasiswa menilai perilaku menyontek merupakan perbuatan yang tidak baik. Kemudian subjective norm yang dipandang negatif, membuat mahasiswa merasakan tekanan sosial untuk menghindari perilaku menyontek. Ketika attitudes toward the bahavioral dan subjective norm dinilai negatif maka perceived behavioral control yang dirasakan akan kecil, sehingga intensi untuk melakukan menyontek akan negatif. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan metode kuantitatif dua variabel dan dapat menambah variabel kontrol diri dalam fenomena menyontek yang terjadi di mahasiswa.
