Abstract

In the current era, information can be easily spread widely, this is due to advances in information technology, namely new media. This study analyzes the communication style in accordance with the Communicator Style Measure (CSM) theory, on a a doctor in a YouTube video that discusses bullying and depression. The method used is Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis, which is a method to find out the denotative and connotative signs in a video show. The purpose of this study is to find out the communication style used by a doctor in a video that educates about depression caused by bullying. The results indicate that at the denotation level, bullying is not only physical violence but also verbal, such as teasing that is often taken as a joke. At the connotation level, the term "bullying" reflects domination, social power, and emotional trauma. The doctor adopts a relaxed, informal and expressive communication style to connect with the audience, especially teenagers. The video also exposes the myth that verbal bullying is not serious and that mental health education can only be done by professionals such as psychologists or psychiatrists. With a casual and inclusive approach, doctors are able to deliver educational messages effectively, while challenging the stigma associated with bullying and mental health in society. This research emphasizes the importance of social media as a relevant and adaptive health education tool in the digital age

Abstract

In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, all activities are forced to adapt to the Disruption Era, one of which is the education sector. The era of Disruption Covid-19 changed the learning system from face to face to online and did not change the quality of the learning process. Therefore, the Furniture and Wood Processing Industry Polytechnic must create a new framework in order to survive. This study aims to create a new framework that has the perspectives of various stakeholders such as government, industry, academic institutions, certification institutions, students and technological developments. The making of this framework is based on PEST analysis and a drives competitive for universities according to (Panday, 2014). The result of the framework for the Wood Furniture and Processing Industry Polytechnic are implementation health protocol for Covid-19, improvement of facilities dan infrastructure, creating income from teaching factory, SDM adaptation for improvement facilities and infrastructure, and quality assurance of graduates. The next step is to carry out monitoring and evaluation (MONEV) so that the implementation of framework runs according to the references and targets.

Abstract

Seulawah volcano, located in Sumatra, Indonesia, is renowned for its geothermal potential, a crucial source of cleaner energy for Indonesia’s future growth and security. Available studies of Seulawah volcano primarily focus on its general geological, geochemical, and regional characteristics, with limited research on its shallow subsurface conditions. This study aimed to fill this research gap and enhance our understanding of the geothermal system of Seulawah volcano. There are two objectives of this study: (1) to conduct a transient electromagnetic (TEM) survey across the study area and (2) to better visualize and characterize the shallow subsurface conditions of the geothermal system of Seulawah volcano. The TEM method, which employed 60 stations (with distances between stations ranging from 0.5 to 1 km) and intersected several geothermal manifestations as well as local and regional faults, was used to achieve the objectives of this study. The Occam algorithm was applied for 1D inversion of TEM data, which was then validated using magnetotelluric data. The results of this study indicate that the geothermal system of Seulawah volcano has the potential to generate up to 230 Mwe of electrical energy. Moreover, the shallow depth (<200m) of Seulawah volcano is dominated by a resistive zone, which is interpreted to be related to the basaltic rocks of the Lamteuba Formation. The reservoir layer is located at depths of 200–500 m, exhibiting moderate resistivity values of >10 Ωm. At a depth of 500 m, a conductive layer with resistivity values <10 Ωm was observed, interpreted as a clay cap where fluids from the reservoir layer accumulate. Validation with magnetotelluric data shows results consistent with the TEM data, confirming that the findings of this study are reliable. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the geothermal system of Seulawah volcano and are expected to support the development of greener, renewable energy sources for Indonesia.

Abstract

This research focuses on the process of social integration and cultural acculturation between the people of Medan and the Sundanese people in the city of Bandung. By applying a descriptive qualitative method using Alcutation Theory, the data collection process is carried out through direct observation to understand the dynamics of social interaction, semi-structured interviews to gain in-depth insights from participants, and literature studies that serve as the basis for strengthening the theory and context of research. This research aims to describe how the people of Medan adapt to Sundanese culture while maintaining their cultural identity. The acculturation process between Medan and Sundanese cultures also enriches the cultural diversity in the city of Bandung, creating a harmonious relationship in the midst of a multiethnic society.

Abstract

THEMATIC KKN is an activity with a background in community service. This service is of course aligned with the background of the community in the area where the KKN is carried out. The background of the community in the KKN area of ”‹”‹Wanajaya village Most of the population are MSME managers, breeders and laborers. With this data, an increase in productivity in their business activities is an important thing to explore. Then the increase in productivity must be accompanied by an increase in human resources which basically in this day and age must be able to operate technology that contains information and be able to communicate it properly. In this way, the work program carried out aims to improve business capabilities with qualified human resources. The program is carried out in 4 stages, namely the observation stage, the socialization stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. In the socialization stage it produces data on human resources who have experienced an increase in digital knowledge of 435 people and the evaluation stage produces an effect of increasing community productivity in processing a product in the form of BOKASI fertilizer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan keuangan, penggunaan e-money, dan gaya hidup terhadap perilaku keuangan. Pengetahuan keuangan, penggunaan e-money, dan gaya hidup sebagai variable independent serta perilaku keuangan sebagai variable dependen. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa fakultas ekonomi dan bisnis tepatnya pada mahasiswa manajemen angkatan 21 pada universitas putra Indonesia “YPTK” Padang. Cara penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Teknik Slovin sehingga dari 675 populasi diperoleh sampel sebanyak 88 orang. Data pada penelitian ini dianalisis dengan Teknik pengujian outer model, penilaian reliabilitas, pengujian inner model R-square, path coefficients, atau uji parsial dan uji F dengan menggunakan bantuan SmartPLS versi 0.4.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan. Penggunaan e-money berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan. Gaya hidup berpengaruh negative dan tidak signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pengetahuan keuangan, penggunaan e-money, gaya hidup terhadap perilaku keuangan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Return On Asset and Return On Equity on Stock Prices with Debt To Equity Ratio as an Intervening variable in consumer cyclicals manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. The population in this study used consumer cyclicals manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023 with the Purpose Sampling method. The analysis method in this study is multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis. The results of this study determine that Return On Asset partially has a significant effect on Debt To Equity Ratio. Return On Equity partially has a significant effect on Debt To Equity Ratio. Return On Asset has a significant effect on Stock Price. Return On Equity partially does not have a significant effect on Stock Price. Debt To Equity Ratio partially does not have a significant effect on Stock Price. Debt To Equity Ratio has not been able to moderate the relationship between Return On Asset and Stock Price. Debt To Equity Ratio is able to moderate the relationship between Return On Equity and Stock Price in consumer cyclicals manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023.

Abstract

Environmental problems due to household waste are one of the important issues in residential areas. This Community Service (KKN) activity aims to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness through environmental awareness socialization and provision of trash cans. The target of the activity is residents of RT 10 RW 02, Betungan Village, Bengkulu City. The implementation method is in the form of counseling, group discussions, and direct provision of facilities in the form of separate trash cans (organic and inorganic). The results of the activity showed the enthusiasm of residents in participating in the socialization and the beginning of the habit of disposing of trash according to its type. This program is expected to be the first step in realizing a clean and healthy environment in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Industri leasing sebagai bagian dari sektor keuangan non-bank menghadapi tantangan besar seiring masifnya perkembangan digitalisasi. Transformasi teknologi telah mengubah perilaku konsumen, mendorong kecepatan layanan, dan meningkatkan tuntutan terhadap keamanan data serta efisiensi operasional. Sementara itu, kemunculan fintech dengan model pembiayaan digital yang lebih fleksibel semakin menekan posisi leasing konvensional. Namun, digitalisasi juga membuka peluang besar seperti perluasan jangkauan pasar, pemanfaatan big data, dan otomatisasi proses bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif tantangan dan peluang digitalisasi dalam industri leasing, serta merumuskan strategi adaptasi berbasis teknologi yang berkelanjutan. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur dan studi kasus selama lima tahun, penelitian ini menghasilkan model strategi adaptif yang dikembangkan melalui analisis SWOT, panduan praktis implementasi digitalisasi, serta rekomendasi kebijakan untuk regulator. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik serta memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam penguatan daya saing industri leasing di era digital

Abstract

Community service is an essential component of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, aimed at making a tangible contribution to society. This activity sought to enhance statistical literacy and information visualization skills among students of SMA Islam Al Mujaddid Kota Sabang through campus education and infographics training. The activity was carried out on April 19, 2025 , and was attended by 32 participants. The implementation method involved a participatory approach through interactive counseling and hands-on training. The results of the activity indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of statistics, as well as strong interest and skills in creating infographics and conveying information visually. This program successfully strengthened the synergy between higher education institutions and secondary schools. It also produced tangible outputs, including a basic training module and student-designed infographics. The activity opens up opportunities for further and continuous training initiatives.
