Abstract

Flood concern everybody in every flood area. It makes the researchers interest to take the research about flood detection system, especially in rivers by using mobile phone facilities. The procedure of this tool is if the flood rise due to overflow of the river, then the river guard will receive SMS to tell the people to anticipate the flood by sounding the alarm until the entire riverbank area. This SMS delivery is via connection to telecommunications network using SMS gateway module. This tool can be used as a flood emergency which is installed at river location points where sensors and control devices are permanently installed. This research has been successful and has been well tested in its implementation.

Abstract

Criminal law reform in Indonesia marks a significant shift from the old Penal Code (KUHP) to the new KUHP, aimed at strengthening law enforcement, ensuring legal certainty, and protecting human rights (HR). This reform reflects the necessity of a modern criminal justice system that is responsive to democratic demands and oriented towards substantive justice. One of the main aspects of the reform is the emphasis on progressive legal principles, including the protection of human rights during law enforcement processes and recognition of victims' rights. The new KUHP introduces more diversified punishment mechanisms, alternative criminal resolutions, and clearer provisions regarding criminal liability, including for corporate crimes. The reform underscores the importance of balancing state interests with individual protection within the criminal justice system. Thus, law enforcement focuses not only on repressive aspects but also on preventive, restorative, and rehabilitative measures. This study highlights the transformation of criminal norms, changes in legal structures, and the practical impact of the new KUHP on law enforcement practices in Indonesia. The analysis employs normative and descriptive juridical approaches, examining amended, deleted, or added articles and their implications for criminal justice institutions, including the police, prosecutors, courts, and correctional facilities. The results indicate that KUHP reform not only updates legal norms but also shifts the paradigm of law enforcement towards a more humane and democratic approach. Implementation challenges, such as law enforcement capacity, public awareness, and harmonization with other regulations, are crucial factors determining the effectiveness of this reform. In conclusion, the new KUHP represents a significant milestone in establishing a fair, transparent criminal law system oriented towards human rights protection, while simultaneously strengthening the legitimacy of law enforcement in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract: In a competitive digital era, business owners such as Alya Collection face challenges in determining the right fashion products to offer to consumers. Relying on intuition without data support often results in inaccurate and potentially detrimental decisions. This study aims to assist the sales decision-making process by applying a data mining method using the K-Means Clustering algorithm. This method was used to group sales data from February 2024 to January 2025 into three categories: best-selling, least-selling, and non-selling products. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach, through sales data collection and direct interviews with store owners. The system was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, and designed with tools such as UML, DFD, and ERD. The results of this clustering system are expected to provide strategic information useful for Alya Collection in planning stock, promotions, and product development, thereby increasing sales effectively and efficiently. Keywords: data mining; k-means; sales; alya collection; information system Abstrak: Dalam era digital yang kompetitif, pemilik usaha seperti Alya Collection menghadapi tantangan dalam menentukan produk fashion yang tepat untuk ditawarkan kepada konsumen. Ketergantungan pada intuisi tanpa dukungan data seringkali mengakibatkan keputusan yang kurang akurat dan berisiko merugikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu proses pengambilan keputusan penjualan dengan menerapkan metode data mining menggunakan algoritma K-Means Clustering. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengelompokkan data penjualan dari Februari 2024 hingga Januari 2025 ke dalam tiga kategori: produk terlaris, kurang laris, dan tidak laris. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melalui pengumpulan data penjualan serta wawancara langsung dengan pemilik toko. Sistem yang dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL, serta dirancang dengan alat bantu seperti UML, DFD, dan ERD. Hasil dari sistem klasterisasi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi strategis yang berguna bagi Alya Collection dalam merencanakan stok, promosi, serta pengembangan produk, sehingga mampu meningkatkan penjualan secara efektif dan efisien. Abstract

Abstract: The management of liquid nitrogen nutrients in water spinach cultivation is still largely performed manually, which can lead to inaccurate dosage, irregular fertilization schedules, and uneven nutrient distribution. This study aims to design and implement a digital agriculture system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) for managing liquid nitrogen nutrients in water spinach cultivation. The research adopts an applied research method with a systems engineering approach. The developed system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller as the main control unit, a Real Time Clock (RTC) module for fertilization scheduling, a relay as an actuator controller, and a water pump to automatically distribute liquid nutrients according to plant growth stages. The study was conducted on a water spinach cultivation field in Punggulan Village, Asahan Regency, using one planting bed as the research sample. The implementation results indicate that the system is capable of delivering liquid nutrients in a scheduled and consistent manner, thereby improving fertilization efficiency in terms of time, labor, and uniformity of nutrient distribution. Furthermore, the application of this system has a positive impact on the growth of water spinach plants. Therefore, the proposed system has the potential to enhance land productivity and support the adoption of IoT-based modern agricultural technology. Keyword: Internet of Things, ESP32, Real Time Clock, liquid nitrogen nutrients, water spinach, digital agriculture Abstrak: Pengelolaan nutrisi cair nitrogen pada budidaya tanaman kangkung masih banyak dilakukan secara manual, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan ketidaktepatan dosis, ketidakteraturan waktu pemupukan, serta distribusi nutrisi yang tidak merata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menerapkan sistem pertanian digital berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dalam pengelolaan nutrisi cair nitrogen pada tanaman kangkung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian terapan dengan pendekatan rekayasa sistem. Sistem yang dikembangkan memanfaatkan mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai unit kendali utama, modul Real Time Clock (RTC) sebagai penjadwal pemupukan, relay sebagai pengendali aktuator, serta pompa air untuk mendistribusikan nutrisi cair secara otomatis sesuai umur tanaman. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada lahan budidaya kangkung di Desa Punggulan, Kabupaten Asahan, dengan satu bulutan sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu melakukan pemberian nutrisi cair secara terjadwal dan konsisten, serta meningkatkan efisiensi pemupukan dari segi waktu, tenaga kerja, dan pemerataan distribusi nutrisi. Penerapan sistem ini juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kangkung. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dikembangkan berpotensi mendukung peningkatan produktivitas lahan dan penerapan teknologi pertanian modern berbasis IoT.
