Abstract

This research focuses on formulating strategies to support the digitalisation of MSME training and coaching institutions in Indonesia, a crucial sector that supports national economic growth. Through the use of survey methods and secondary data analysis, the research identifies key factors that influence digital adoption in these institutions and formulates effective strategies to overcome barriers. The results show that training and coaching that focus on the specific needs of MSMEs, as well as the integration of information technology, can improve the digital competence and operational effectiveness of MSMEs. A post-training coaching strategy, identified through QSPM as the more attractive option, is recommended to be implemented to optimise the growth potential of MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

Efficient logistics and warehousing operations heavily rely on effective material handling and cleaning processes. The utilization of equipment like lifting scissors, hand stackers, and forklifts is crucial for the safe and smooth movement of raw materials, finished products, and heavy cargo within these facilities. Nevertheless, the substantial financial outlay for such equipment presents a significant hurdle for businesses in this industry. Despite this capital-intensive challenge, the logistics and warehousing sector has witnessed substantial growth, primarily driven by the e-commerce surge ignited by the COVID-19 pandemic. The escalating demand for online shopping has exerted considerable pressure on supply chains, necessitating expanded warehousing and transportation infrastructure. Human Resource Planning (HRP) involves strategically allocating and optimizing human capital within an organization. This process aligns with short, medium, and long-term objectives by determining the necessary workforce to meet operational requirements. HR planning translates organizational goals into specific human resource targets, ensuring the availability of skilled personnel to support business operations. LogisMe has a flexibility of working style and hours which combines both offline and online / remote working styles empowered with virtual office and Employee Self Service (ESS). The company also supports for employees work-life balance and rewards.

Abstract

Plastic is one of the sectors that contributes greatly to Indonesia's manufacturing output, with high plastic consumption seen from the import value which is much greater than exports. However, plastic has a negative impact on the environment because it is difficult to decompose and comes from non-renewable resources, namely petroleum. Plastic waste can last up to 500-1000 years and causes various environmental problems, such as soil damage and water absorption barriers. To reduce this impact, one of the solutions developed is bioplastic, which is made from natural materials and can be decomposed by microorganisms naturally. Environmentally friendly bioplastics are easier to decompose and do not accumulate on land, rivers, or seas. This study aims to analyze the potential business opportunities for bioplastics and the operational management needed to manage this business effectively. The method used is qualitative with literature studies, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of the study shows that PT Green Plastik Indonesia has set goals and objectives in operational management, as well as planning company needs, including buildings, machines, business licenses, and short-term to long-term expenditure projections to ensure that the products produced are in accordance with the standards desired by consumers.

Abstract

People's need for energy tends to get higher from time to time. The energy that is needed is related to electricity. The current condition of power plants uses a lot of steam sources with the support of coal combustion. However, the coal owned will not last long because this source is non-renewable. For this reason, renewable energy sources are needed to overcome the scarcity of coal that will occur in the next few years. Waste pellets can be used to replace the role of coal for PLTU. For this reason, these waste pellets are produced by PT. Energi Indonesia Maju as a provider of waste pellets as a substitute for coal fuel. This journal aims to provide business considerations whether the production of waste pellets is able to develop and be profitable in the short and long term.
