Abstract

The importance of utilizing information technology, including Cyber Extension, in West Lampung is becoming increasingly apparent along with the development of globalization and digital transformation. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of utilization of cyber extension, determine the level of empowerment of coffee farmers and analyze the effect of the level of utilization of cyber extension on the empowerment of coffee farmers. This research was conducted in West Lampung Regency using a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample size of 125 respondents. The level of utilization of cyber extension by coffee farmers in West Lampung Regency is generally classified in the high enough category, meaning that farmers have used and utilized digital technology to manage information related to coffee farming, besides that the level of empowerment of coffee farmers is low, this is due to the lack of ability of farmers in managing results and determining coffee prices. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the level of utilization of cyber extension has a significant influence on the empowerment of coffee farmers in West Lampung.

Abstract

TThis research aims to comprehensively assess the production facilities, production performance, operating income, the marketing mix, supporting services, and strategy development within Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the pastry and bakery industry. The study includes 41 respondents, comprising business owners, seven employees, 30 consumers, and three expert chefs in the pastry and bakery field. A mixed-method approach, combining descriptive qualitative and quantitative analyses, was employed. The research involved both qualitative exploration of respondents' perceptions and quantitative measurements of production performance and marketing effectiveness. Findings revealed satisfactory product quality, yielding profitable results from an average daily production of 100 bread loaves and 32 cakes. While the overall marketing mix was effective, the promotional aspect was identified as an area requiring enhancement. Supporting services were underutilized, suggesting opportunities for improvement, particularly in optimizing raw material utilization to heighten productivity and income while ensuring superior product quality. The study underscores the need for strategic enhancements in promotional efforts and the maximization of supporting services to align with the already satisfactory product quality. Furthermore, it emphasizes the significance of leveraging raw materials effectively to augment productivity and profitability in the SMEs pastry and bakery sector. Enhancing promotional strategies and optimizing supporting services are crucial for SMEs in the pastry and bakery industry to strengthen market positioning. Additionally, future research endeavors should delve deeper into the impact of optimized raw material utilization on productivity and income within this sector, thereby fostering sustained growth and competitiveness.

Abstract

Food security has clear goals and impacts on efforts to improve nutrition and improve community welfare.  To achieve this, diversification of food consumption plays an important role. Diversification of food consumption has a role in efforts to improve nutrition and to obtain quality human beings and reduce dependence on certain commodities. However, consumption pattern is different to each household depending on its income levels. The majority of household welfare levels in Lampung Province are categorized as pre-prosperous households. The economic situation (income) of pre-prosperous households can affect the food choice. If the food choice is inappropriate, the fulfillment of nutritional quality is not optimal and can affect the quality of human resources. As a result, research on this topic was critical, particularly in lower middle-class households especially pre-prosperous households. The goal of this study was to examine the amount of consumption diversification and its determinants among the pre-prosperous households. Secondary data from the 2019 SUSENAS raw data were used in this investigation. This survey included 2,792 households as samples. The Berry Index was employed to quantify the diversity of food consumption, and binary logistic regression analysis was performed to study its determinants. The amount of food consumption diversity among pre-prosperous households in Lampung Province was moderate. The Berry Index had an average value of 0.827. Household income, education of the head of the household, education of the mother, gender of the head of the household, and type of region all had a positive effect on household food consumption diversity, whereas the number of household members had a negative effect.  Based on these results, comprehensive policies are needed with clear targets and programs that contribute to increasing employment opportunities and income so that family consumption is more diverse and of high quality.  In addition, it is also necessary to increase the contribution of education both through formal and non-formal education, and promotion in the implementation of counseling or socialization on diversification of food consumption.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine consumption patterns, satisfaction and consumer loyalty in purchasing Luwak White Koffie in Bandar Lampung. The location for this research was the angkringan coffee shop PKOR Way Halim, Teuku Umar Kedaton street and Taman Gajah Saburai. The total sample was 60 people selected by the probability sampling method which was carried by means of multistage random sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis methods, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Customer Loyalty Index (CLI). The results showed that the consumption of Luwak White Koffie consumers in the last month was 6.23 sachets. The consumption frequency of Luwak White Koffie consumers in angkringan coffee shops is 2.37 times/month and at home 3.87 times/month. The flavors that consumers like the most were the original vanilla flavors. Most consumers of Luwak White Koffie consumed coffee at night. The purpose or reason for consumers consuming Luwak White Koffie was because of the taste. The reason consumers choose to buy or consume Luwak White Koffie at angkringan coffee shops was purely coincidental with the assumption that consumers accidentally visited an angkringan coffee shop and consumers drank Luwak White Koffie because consumers liked the taste of the coffee. The Luwak White Koffie's consumer satisfaction was in the very satisfied category with its CSI value of 81.46. The condition of Luwak White Koffie consumer loyalty was in the loyal category with its CLI value of 77.43. Consumers would make repeated purchases of Luwak White Koffie. Key words: consumption pattern, customer behavior, loyalty, satisfaction

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the most economical quantity of orders for raw materials, calculate the amount of safety stock, the reorder point, and the total inventory costs. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis with the probabilistic EOQ method. The research was carried out using a case study method at the Bawang Goreng Dua Saudara Agroindustry. The research location was deliberately chosen. Respondents in the research consisted of agroindustry owners and workers. The research results show that the most economical order for brebes shallots using the probabilistic EOQ method is 7.646 kg per order, and the most economical order quantity for sumenep shallots is 4.442 kg per order. There is a total savings in inventory costs using the probabilistic EOQ method of IDR 1.439.008 (9%) for brebes shallots and IDR 62.398 (1%) for sumenep shallots. Brebes shallots must be ordered when the reorder point value is 6.817 kg and the amount of safety stock is 2.918 kg. Meanwhile, sumenep shallots should be ordered with a reorder point value of 3.167 kg, and the amount of safety stock that must be available is 125 kg. Keywords: agroindustry, probabilistic EOQ, raw materials, shallots

Abstract

Pengentasan kemiskinan merupakan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB) atau Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Berbagai lembaga berkontribusi dalam pengetasan kemiskinan, salah satu lembaga yang turut berkontribusi adalah YBM BRILiaN, sebuah lembaga filantropi islam yang berkomitmen dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan mustahik. Melalui program Mustahik Income Generating Program (MIGP), YBM BRILian melakukan pemberdayaan berupa pendampingan dan pemberian stimulus modal usaha dalam rangka meningkatkan keberdayaan anggota binaan MIGP. Peserta program MIGP merupakan para petani dengan komoditas usaha tani (yang diajukan pada program) berupa jagung, pare, dan cabai hijau besar. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui karakteristik, kualitas pendampingan MIGP, pemanfaatan modal usaha MIGP, dan tingkat kosmopolitan petani binaan serta pengaruhnya terhadap tingkat keberdayaan petani binaan MIGP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah sensus pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisi data dilakukan dengan analalisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis Structural equation modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS4. Responden adalah semua anggota kelompok program MIGP 2022-2023 . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik anggota kelompok MIGP tidak secara krusial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat keberdayaan, sedangkan kualitas pendampingan MIGP, pemanfaatan modal usaha MIGP, dan tingkat kosmopolitan angota binaan berpengaruh sigifikan terhadap tingkat keberdayaan yang dirasakan oleh para petani anggota binaan MIGP dari segi peningkatan usaha, peningkatan kepedulian, kemandirian, dan kapsitas

Abstract

Enviromental issue stimulate growth of green marketing. The aims of this research are to evaluate implementation of green marketing and attitude of natural cosmetics consumens at PT Best One Natural in case to support green cosmetics marketing. Data collection in July to September 2023 at Terusan Nunyai, Lampung Tengah. The research method used is case study which is analized by qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The samples are consumers of PT Best One Natural which are recruited by random sampling. Total respondens are 54 consumers. Data analyzed by descriptive analysis, namely Multiatribut Fishbein and Ideal model for analyse Consumer Behaviour. Analyze of this research showed that PT Best One Natural have implement green marketing in green product specially at quality aspect and minimalize product waste, then still optimalize at green price, green promotion also green place aspect. The research show that consumers like Best One Natural products with the highest score on the quality attribute and the lowest score on the price attribute. Consumers stated that the highest ideal model was for the longlasting fragrance attribute and the lowest ideal value was for the label attribute. Abstract

Introduction: stunting is a physical growth disorder in children which is characterized by short stature and is characterized by impaired brain development. Purpose: determine the relationship between the incidence of stunting with motor development in toddlers. Methods: This research is an analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in July 2021 in Jatimulyo Village, Jati Agung District, South Lampung. Sampling with a total sampling of 50 toddlers. Data collection tools using questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis used percentage and Chi-Square test. Results: Most of the toddlers were not stunted and had fine motor development that was appropriate for their age. There is a significant relationship between the incidence of stunting and fine motor development in toddlers. The community can pay more attention to parenting patterns and the provision of nutritious food so that it can reduce child mortality due to stunting as well as a reference for designing health programs in order to improve the health status of toddlers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitungkeuntungan usaha dan harga pokok produksi (HPP)jahe instan, serta menganalisis kepuasan konsumen terhadap produk jahe instan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode studi kasus di agroindustri jahe instan pada KWT Harapan Jaya, Kecamatan Rajabasa, Kota Bandar Lampung. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja. Responden penelitian ini adalah 3 orang pengelola agroindustri jahe instan yang juga merupakan anggota KWT Harapan Jaya serta 30 konsumen jahe instan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada Juni-Juli 2022 melalui wawancara dan observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif,dan juga dengan customer satisfaction index (CSI) dan important performance analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keuntungan agroindustri jahe instan per bulan April 2022 adalah sebesar Rp899.476,08. HPP yang diperoleh dengan metode variable costing dan metode full costing berada di bawah harga jual, sehingga agroindustri masih memperoleh laba dengan harga jual yang berlaku sekarang, karena harga jual berada di atas HPP. Konsumen merasa puas dengan produk jahe instan. Atribut jahe instan yang menjadi prioritas utama adalah rasa, aroma, kuantitas, dan kemudahan memperoleh.
