There are many reasons behind teenage smoking behavior where smoking behavior is a dysfunction of the individual itself and the environment. This can be seen from the study of the development of adolescents who started smoking associated with the crisis of psycho-social aspects experienced during development, when a teenager is looking for identity. The efforts to find that identity, not all can go according to the desired expectations. Some adolescents do smoking as a compensatory method because there are some parties that have a big influence in the socialization process. Smoking behavior usually begins in adolescence even though the process of becoming a smoker has started since childhood. Adolescence is also an important period of risk for the development of long-term smoking behavior. In addition, smoking behavior is the entrance to other negative behaviors such as drug abuse and drinking alcohol. In this study researchers sought the influence of smoking behavior on the risk of drug abuse. The data in this study were obtained by distributing evaluation questionnaires to students. The results of this study obtained information about the effect of smoking behavior on the risk of drug abuse. The benefit of this research is to provide information to students about the dangers of smoking and the risk of drug abuse. The aim of this research is to produce information about the dangers of smoking and the risk of drug abuse. The results of this study indicate that smoking behavior among students at the Indonesian Community Development University (UPMI) majority has moderate smoking behavior. both of these studies see the risk of drug abuse in students at the Indonesian Community Development University (UPMI), the majority is not at risk. third, this study found a significant effect between smoking behavior and the risk of drug abuse on students at UPMI.Keywords: smoking, behavior, drug, abuse.

In the world of teacher education, one of the supporting tools that play an important role in achieving national education goals is through the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence on teacher performance, commitment at SMA Negeri 13 Medan, to determine the effect of competence and work commitment of teachers together on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 13 Medan. This researchthe sample is 61 teachers. Analysis of the hypothesis using SPSS 16.Research results: 1). The magnitude of the influence of competence on teacher performance as shown by the results of the study is 47.7meaning that competence has a good influence on teacher performance. 2).The magnitude of the effect of work commitment on teacher performance as shown by the results of the study is 36.6% This means that in improving teacher performance, one of the variables that influence it is teacher work commitment. 3).The magnitude of the effect of competence and work commitment on teacher performance is shown by the results of the study of 83.3%.

In simple terms, education is a learning process for students to be able to understand, understand, and be more critical in thinking. This article aims to determine the effect of competence, innovation on professionalism. Education can occur anytime and anywhere, both on campus (school) and outside campus, which aims to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative. being independent and being a democratic citizen is also responsible. The sample in this study amounted to 35 people. Analysis of hypothesis testing using SPSS Research results Partially, competence has a significant effect on lecturer professionalism at the Indonesian Maritime Adiguna Polytechnic Medan. Partially, innovation has a significant effect on the professionalism of lecturers at the Adiguna Maritime Indonesia Polytechnic, Medan. Simultaneously, competence and innovation have a significant influence on the professionalism of lecturers at the Indonesian Maritime Adiguna Polytechnic Medan.

The Effect of Empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on Economic Development in Deli Tua District, Deliserdang Regency (By: Netarius Ndruru) (Supervisors: Dr. Mananda Situmorang, Drs., M.Si and Nurul Dalimunte, S.Sos., M. Si). This study aims to determine how much influence the empowerment of MSMEs has on economic development in Deli Tua District and to determine the extent to which MSME empowerment is carried out in supporting economic development in Deli Tua District. The research method used in this thesis is a quantitative method. The data collection techniques include primary data collection, namely the method of observation, interviews and questionnaires. Then with secondary data collection techniques, namely the library and field studies. To determine the effect of empowering micro, small and medium enterprises on economic development in Deli Tua District, the author uses the product moment correlation coefficient formula. Meanwhile, to test the significant level between the independent variable and the dependent variable, in this case the author uses the t test formula. The results showed that the effect of empowering micro, small and medium enterprises on economic development in Deli Tua District had a strong effect, with a value of r_xy = 0.687. Meanwhile, from the results of the significant level test, it is concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the empowerment of micro, small and medium enterprises on economic development, with a value of t = 7.389.

This study raises the issue of Public Service Supervision Policy at the North Sumatra Provincial Transportation Service, the Supervision Policy is a provision made in an effort to determine whether the conditions of the activities carried out have reached the specified target. To reveal the research problem used secondary data and primary data with a sample of 30 people. The analytical method used is Product Moment Correlation Analysis. Individual Competence has a strong positive relationship to employee performance at the Department of Transportation of North Sumatra Province where the research results are based on a correlation test. Supervision Policy has a strong positive effect on Public Services where the research results are based on the correlation test of Public Service Supervision Policies of 0.97. compared to the critical table r product moment (n = 30) with df = 95% there are numbers r table = 0.349 where rxy = 0.97 > 0.349 this means that the Supervision Policy has a strong positive relationship to public services in North Sumatra Transportation Service Province. The results of this study suggest that the better supervision policies owned by the North Sumatra Provincial Transportation Service are formed in the dimensions of systems and work methods, repair of work errors, procedures or policies, compensation and use of work tools and facilities and followed by increased efficiency, effectiveness, fairness, responsibility and accountability of public services at the North Sumatra provincial transportation office. Policy factors for implementing work systems and methods, correcting work errors, procedures or policies, compensation and use of work tools and facilities will be followed by efficiency, effectiveness, fairness, responsibility and accountability of public services in North Sumatra provincial transportation offices.

The Effect of the Effectiveness of the Family Hope Program on Poverty Reduction in Sorkam Kanan Village, West Sorkam District, Central Tapanuli Regency Nurul Dalimunte

Poverty is one of the problems experienced by developing countries, including Indonesia. Efforts to reduce poverty in Indonesia have been carried out by the government in every era of government with various poverty alleviation programs that aim to break the chain of poverty and improve the welfare and economy of the people in Indonesia. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Effectiveness of the Family Hope Program on Poverty Reduction in Sorkam Kanan Village, West Sorkam District. The method used in this study using quantitative methods. The data sources include primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the field, obtained by means of interviews, observation and questionnaires. It can be concluded that this study uses the product moment correlation test which is distributed to respondents with the results of r = 0.611. These results indicate that the effectiveness of the family of hope program in reducing poverty in the Sorkam right sub-district, West Sorkam sub-district is quite strong. Meanwhile, the results of the significant correlation coefficient test are t = 5, 319. From the test results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the hopeful family program on poverty reduction in Sorkam Kanan Village, West Sorkam District . While the advice offered by the researcher is that PKH participants are expected to attend every meeting held by the PKH supervisor so as to increase public knowledge about the goals and benefits of the assistance received

This study aims to explore the effect of training and suitability between individual characteristics (person-job fit) on increasing teacher competence in the digital era using a qualitative approach. Amid the transformation of education by digital technology, it is important to understand how individual training and suitability for work demands play a role in developing teacher competency. This research method uses in-depth interviews with headmasters of experienced teachers from various backgrounds at Madrasah Aliyah. The results of this study reveal that training has a significant role in enriching teachers' knowledge, skills, and understanding of the use of technology in learning. Teachers who attended the training reported increasing their ability to face technological challenges and optimize teaching potential in the digital age. In addition, the suitability of individual characteristics with work tasks in the digital era also influences how teachers can more effectively integrate technology in education. This research indicates that a combination of training that is tailored to individual needs and the degree of suitability to job demands can positively affect teacher competence. in the digital age. These findings make an important contribution to the development of better professional development strategies to support teachers in coping with educational changes caused by technology.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pengaruh Otonomi Daerah Dengan Sistem Pemerintahan Desa terhadap Pembangunan Desa di Desa Siholi Kecamatan Boronado Kabupaten Nias Selatan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu Variabel Bebas (X) Otonomi Daerah dan Variabel Terikat (Y) Pembangunan Desa.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Pengaruh Pengelolaan Dana Desa Terhadap Pembangunan Desa.Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa Siholi Kecamatan Boronado Kabupaten Nias Selatan. Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh aparat desa dan masyarakat desa Siholi yang berjumlah 300 orang. Jadi yang menjadi sampel penelitian ini adalah 75 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu interview (wawancara), questioner (angket), dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dan uji signifikan. Berdasarkan pengolahan data bahwa hasil nilai r tabel product moment dengan =75 dan taraf kepercayaan 95% atau kesalahan 5% adalah 0,216 Dengan demikian bahwa r hitung 0,39> r tabel 0,216. Ini berarti ada pengaruh besar antara Otonomi Daerah Dengan Pembangunan Desa. Dengan demikian hipotesis dapat diterima, yaitu dengan besarnya Pengaruh Otonomi Daerah Dengan Sistem Pemerintahan Desa Terhadap Pembangunan Desa di Desa Siholi Kecamatan Boronado Kabupaten Nias Selatan.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh pengawasan terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai dengan variabel pemoderasi kompensasi pada Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah pengawasan berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas dan apakah kompensasi sebagai variabel moderasi melemahkan atau memperkuat pengaruh pengawasan terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengertahui apakah pengawasan berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas dan untuk mengetahui apakah kompensasi sebagai variabel moderasi melemahkan atau memperkuat pengaruh pengawasan terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai di Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas berjumlah 33 pegawai dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang berskala likert untuk memberikan jawaban terhadap item pertanyaan dan diolah data dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 26.0 melalui uji validitas data, uji reliabilitas data, uji normalitas data, uji multikolinieritas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh pengawasan terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas adalah 41,9% dan sisanya 58,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya, artinya pengawasan memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja pegawai. Dalam penelitian ini, dimensi pengawasan mencakup kualitas pengawasan, kuantitas pengawasan, waktu pengawasan, biaya pengawasan, dan motivasi pengawasan. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor-faktor ini perlu diperhatikan dalam pengembangan strategi pengawasan yang efektif di Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas. Dan hasil penelitian pengaruh pengawasan terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai dengan variabel pemoderasi pada Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas adalah 58% dan sisanya (42%) dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kompensasi yang baik dapat meningkatkan pengaruh positif pengawasan terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai. Dimensi kompensasi melibatkan kemampuan, meningkatkan hasil yang dicapai, semangat kerja, pengembangan diri, dan mutu. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi organisasi untuk memperhatikan aspek-aspek ini dalam merancang kebijakan kompensasi untuk pegawai agar dapat mendukung produktivitas yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu dimensi produktivitas kerja pegawai mencakup gaji, insentif, fasilitas, dan tunjangan. Ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor ini dapat menjadi motivasi dan pengaruh dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja pegawai. Dengan demikian hipotesis pertama dan kedua yang diajukan dapat diterima pada Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas.

This research aims to develop PKK creativity in increasing MSME sales turnover in Medan Sunggal. In Increasing PKK Creativity in improving MSMEs in the Medan Sunggal PKK environment to support government programs in creating entrepreneurs and improving their quality. Globally, this training aims to increase entrepreneurial abilities and improve the quality of management and financial governance for micro, small and medium enterprises. (MSMEs) can operate independently. Planning, implementation, and evaluation are the three stages that go through to complete this work. Provided two meetings which were attended by 25 participants from MSME actors in the environment. PKK Medan is single. The results and discussion of this activity teach MSME players about entrepreneurship education, effective marketing strategies, and simple financial management. They also learn about the various financing schemes they can use.
