Abstract

Finger painting is one of the effective sensory-motor stimulation methods in developing fine motor skills in early childhood. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of finger painting activities in developing fine motor skills of children aged 2-4 years, with a focus on KB Alam Jungle School in Gunung Pati District, Semarang City. The method used is descriptive qualitative research, with primary and secondary data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity of the data was obtained through triangulation techniques. The results of the study stated that finger painting activities were effective in stimulating the development of fine motor skills in children aged 2–4 years. With good planning, flexible implementation, and a supportive environment, children can explore and improve hand-eye coordination, as well as develop creativity and confidence. The role of teachers as facilitators is important to create positive interaction and learning comfort. Evaluation is carried out qualitatively through observation and portfolio, allowing teachers to design sustainable learning strategies. This approach also supports the child's overall social and emotional development.

Abstract

Parenting style is a set of attitudes and practices applied to children to predict their future behavior. This study aims to describe the role of democratic parenting in shaping the independence if early childhood in PAUD Junior, West Ungaran, usibg a descrptive qualitative method. This study uses primary and secondary data sources. The research rechniques used are observation, interviews,and documentation. In this study, data validity was tested using triangulation techniques. The study shows that  democratic parenting greatly supports the growth of independence in young children. This parenting style creates a loving and open communication environment that supports children's emitional developnent, increases their self- confidence, and improves their ability to manage their emotions. Democratic parenting provides controlled freedom, allowing children to make simple decisions and explore their environment, which encourages the development of intellectual independence and critical thinking skills. The application of a rational reward and punishment system helps children understand the consequences of their actions and improves their social skills through interaction with their peers.

Abstract

In the midst of the structural challenges of Indonesia's job market and digital disruption, non-formal education (PNF) plays a crucial role in equipping the community with relevant skills. This article analyzes a tutor empowerment model as a strategic effort to develop digital multimodal based entrepreneurship education in the PNF program in Ungaran Regency. Using a qualitative case study approach, this study examines the process and impact of training programs designed to improve the digital and pedagogical competencies of tutors. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, then analyzed thematically. The results show that this empowerment program significantly transforms the role of tutors from conventional teachers to digital learning architects who are able to design interactive learning experiences. The implementation of multimodal pedagogy has been proven to increase student engagement and learning motivation, as well as facilitate the development of early-stage digital entrepreneurship skills. This study concludes that tutor empowerment is a critical-path factor for the success and relevance of PNF in the digital era. However, the sustainability of these innovations is highly dependent on the existence of systemic support and affirmative policies to address the professional precariats that educators in the non-formal pathway have been facing.

Abstract

This research examines the optimisation of video conferencing tools (VCTs) to enhance virtual collaboration and leadership skills development in educational settings. The research problem focuses on how VCTs can effectively improve interactions among educators and foster essential leadership competencies. The research objectives include identifying best practices for VCT implementation, exploring their impact on leadership development and assessing the challenges institutions face. Utilising a qualitative research design, this research analyses existing literature and case studies to gather insights into using VCTs across various educational contexts. Data was collected through a comprehensive review of scholarly articles, reports and case studies that focus on the effectiveness of VCTs. Major findings indicate that optimised VCTs significantly enhance communication, foster collaboration, and contribute to developing vital leadership skills such as adaptability and emotional intelligence. The research also highlights barriers such as differing levels of technological proficiency and resource access, which can impede effective VCT implementation. In conclusion, the research emphasises the necessity of establishing clear communication protocols, providing ongoing professional development, and cultivating a collaborative culture to maximise the benefits of VCTs. By addressing these challenges and implementing best practices, educational leaders can leverage VCTs to create more engaging and inclusive learning environments, ultimately transforming educational leadership and collaboration in the digital era.

Abstract

Non-formal education in Indonesia, particularly in the context of equivalency education, faces numerous challenges in introducing innovation to the learning system. This study aims to describe the readiness of tutors in implementing E-PKBM by using a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and their validity was tested through source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results describe (1) tutors show professional confidence in implementing the system, although they still need support and further training to handle complex questions. (2) Comprehensive institutional support, including training, appreciation of achievements, and constructive communication, is crucial. (3) Tutors need to develop competence in using the system to optimize the learning process. The implications of this study emphasize the need for continuous training programs and the development of self-learning skills. This study concludes that tutor readiness makes a significant contribution to the success of E-PKBM, and these findings make a valuable contribution to the development of tutor training programs in PKBM.

Abstract

Inovasi dalam pembentukan media pembelajaran menjadi salah satu prioritas utama sebagai bentuk upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di berbagai lingkup pendidikan, baik lembaga formal, informal, maupun non formal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses media pembelajaran sejarah melalui permainan ular tangga sandi di Museum Sandi melalui proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah seorang Edukator Museum, Mentor Junior Edukator Museum Sandi MSIB Batch 6, dua orang peserta magang Junior Edukator Museum Sandi MSIB Batch 6, dan tiga orang pengunjung Museum. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Proses perencanaan dilakukan dengan menetapkan tujuan pembelajaran, sumber atau bahan ajar, metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, dan merancang penilaian hasil belajar; (2) Pelaksanaan media pembelajaran melalui permainan ular tangga diawali dengan pemberian edukasi terlebih dahulu, dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan kunjungan museum dan diakhiri pengunjung dapat bermain ular tangga sandi sebelum atau sesudah berkunjung ke Museum. (3) Evaluasi yang digunakan adalah evaluasi formatif dengan ketercapaian aspek yang dinilai yaitu kemampuan penguasaan pemahaman materi dan aspek komunikasi dalam menjawab pertanyaan saat permainan. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini adalah diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis game dalam konteks pendidikan.

Abstract

Pendidikan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan perekonomian suatu negara, salah satunya melalui pendidikan kewirausahaan. Technopreneurship merupakan salah satu generasi baru dari pengembangan model kewirausahaan pada umumnya yang muncul sebagai akibat dari perkembangan teknologi, revolusi industri dan transformasi digital. Tujuannya tidak jauh dari pengembangan pasar ekonomi dengan digitalisasi teknologi. Akan tetapi, sebagian besar lembaga pendidikan tidak memiliki pemahaman yang memadai dan jelas tentang kewirausahaan terutama kewirausahaan berbasis teknologi yang sudah mulai diterapkan, sehingga diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang efektif agar siswa mampu menangkap pemahaman dan konsep technopreneurship. Harapannya siswa dapat mengimplementasikan dalam dunia pekerjaan. Model pembelajran yang memungkinkan dapat digunakan yaitu model pembelajatan berbasis multimodal. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan efektivitas dari modal pembelajaran technopreneurship berbasis modal untuk meningkatkan kreativitas wirausaha pada pendidikan kesetaraan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi serta wawancara terhadap 10 partisipan dengan latar belakang sebagai siswa pendidikan kesetaraan dan pengajar di sekolah kesetaraan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis multimodal menciptakan sistem pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, komunikatif, dan aktif. Pada bidang technopreneurship, pembelajaran berbasis multimodal mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa dan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa, sehingga mereka dapat mendiskusikan sesuatu dengan baik. Pendidikan kewirausahaan berbasis teknologi tentu saja selalu memanfaatkan teknologi untuk ikut andil dalam bisnis yang dikembangkan, oleh karena itu kurikulum pendidikan kewirausahaan harus menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pasar bisnis. Teknologi meningkatkan literasi multimodal siswa, hal tersebut berdampak positif terhadap pengembangan produk, inovasi, ide, gagasan dan pendapat siswa menjadi lebih luas dan mendorong siswa menjadi lebih kreatif dalam menciptakan inovasi yang memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi.

Abstract

Pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Semarang menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam memanfaatkan platform digital untuk pemasaran, khususnya TikTok dan Shopee, yang berpotensi besar dalam meningkatkan jangkauan pasar dan penjualan. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemasaran digital pelaku UMKM melalui pelatihan berbasis praktik, pendampingan intensif, dan optimalisasi penggunaan kedua platform tersebut. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan dan workshop, pendampingan implementasi, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada indikator kinerja: jumlah pengikut TikTok meningkat rata-rata 50%, engagement rate naik 25%, kunjungan toko Shopee bertambah ±45%, dan penjualan meningkat rata-rata 18% dalam dua bulan pasca-program. Keberhasilan ini didukung oleh motivasi peserta, metode pelatihan aplikatif, pendampingan berkelanjutan, dan ketersediaan infrastruktur digital, meskipun dihadapkan pada kendala keterbatasan waktu produksi konten, variasi literasi digital, keterbatasan anggaran iklan, dan minimnya pemanfaatan analitik pemasaran. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan pelatihan dan pendampingan terintegrasi mampu meningkatkan kompetensi digital dan kinerja pemasaran UMKM, sehingga layak direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan kondisi serupa.

Abstract

BBPVP plays a role in organizing training and professional competency tests as an effort to improve the quality of human resources, but the implementation of competency tests carried out there are trainees who are not competent because they fail to master the standard competency units set. The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of the program in terms of (context, input, process, product). The research used a descriptive qualitative approach and the research data was obtained through observation of training activities, interviews with organisers, instructors and trainees, and documentation from institutional profile books, institutional websites and photographs of training activities. The results show that the context of the training programme is in line with the needs and objectives of the participants, namely their interests and professional needs. According to the input of the programme, the participants are of productive age (17-64 years old) and the participant are civil servants, graduates of fashion vocational training, who follow basic education and have a certificate of sewing expertise methodology. The curriculum is based on SKKNI and the source of funding comes from the state budget. The infrastructure includes machines, rooms and other supporting facilities. Process, schedule according to the total duration of 260 jp, instructor and participant activities are active in theory, discussion, practice and assignments. There is a weekly target as a strategy to adjust the programme to the plan set. By the end of the course, participants will be competent in sewing and will have increased self-confidence. Participants are declared passed when they have mastered the specified training competency units. In conclusion, the sewing training programme can be continued because it has been successful in providing competence to the trainees in terms of the CIPP aspects. The implication of this research is that when implementing training programmes, it is necessary to apply CIPP evaluation so that the implementation process can proceed in accordance with the planned programme objectives.

Abstract

Graphic design training is one of the training courses available at the Gorontalo Regency Work Training Center with the highest interest, so that it can help reduce the unemployment rate in Gorontalo Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to describe the management of graphic design training programs during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Gorontalo Regency Work Training Center. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection uses observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The subjects are Tu Sub-District, Instructor, training manager and trainee. The validity of the data used is the triangulation of the source. The result of the research is the management of the graphic design training program at the Gorontalo Regency Work Training Center consisting of planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, assessment, and development referring to SKKNI that has been developed according to needs. The conclusion of this study is that the management of the graphic design training program at the Gorontalo Regency Work Training Center is carried out in accordance with the theory of experts. This research is carried out to provide understanding to the public regarding the correct management of training programs and in accordance with the theory of experts so that it can be used as input and development on training programs. The advice that can be given should the training manager be able to conduct further checks on the training facility and can cooperate with the company or form an independent business group to distribute graduates.
