Abstract

This study aims to develop E-LKPD learning media based on problem solving learning models in thematic learning in class V SD and to produce E-LKPD learning media based on problem solving learning models that meet the criteria of being feasible to implement in thematic learning in class V. Methods the research used is the research and development method modified by Trianto, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This learning media is subjected to expert validation tests conducted by media experts, material experts and language experts. After a validation test was carried out by a team of experts, a product trial was then carried out with the research subject, namely fifth grade elementary school students. The results of the media expert test showed that this learning media obtained an average score of 88% in the "very decent" category. The results of the material expert test showed that this learning media obtained an average score of 80% in the "decent" category. The results of the linguist test showed that this learning media obtained an average score of 71% in the "decent" category, then the results of student responses obtained an average score of 82% in the "very good" category. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the E-LKPD learning media based on the problem solving learning model in thematic learning in class V is "appropriate" for use in thematic learning in class V SD.

Abstract

Pendidikan saat ini membutuhkan kepala sekolah yang kompeten dalam mengelola sekolah dan meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Mengetahui profil kompetensi manajeriaal kepala sekolah di Kec. Muncang; (2) Mengetahui profil kinerja guru di Kec. Muncang; (3) Menguji korelasi antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SD di Kec. Muncang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasi. Sampel berjumlah 40 orang, yaitu 20 orang kepala sekolah dan 20 orang guru SD di Kec. Muncang. Teknik pengumpulan menggunakan angket (kuesioner). Teknis analisi data meliputi analisis deskriftif dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dasar di Kec. Muncang berada pada kategori sedang (rata-rata 124), begitupun kinerja guru di SD Kec. Muncang (rata-rata 116). Terdapat korelasi positif dan kuat (0.89) antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru di SD Kec. Muncang. Hal ini menujukan kompetensi manajerial memiliki keterkaitan dengan kinerja guru.

Abstract

The student worksheets of Natural and Social Sciences developed by teachers are not yet based on learning models that can encourage students to solve problems, resulting in weak and underdeveloped critical thinking skills of students, student activities tend to be more note-taking, and learning activities tend to be dominated by memorization to master knowledge. This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet of Natural and Social Sciences based on inquiry learning to foster critical thinking skills in elementary school students. This research method uses the 4-D model development research method. Data collection techniques use validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and test questions. Validation sheets are used to obtain data on the validity of Student Worksheets, questionnaires are used to record teacher and student responses to the practicality of Student Worksheets, and Tests are used to measure students' critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique used is descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of the validation of Student Worksheets show that the average percentage of material and media expert validators is in the very valid category. At the same time, the responses of teachers and students are in the convenient category. The worksheets for students of natural and social sciences based on inquiry learning that was developed have also proven to be effective in developing critical thinking skills in elementary school students, as evidenced by the significant difference in the average value of students' critical thinking skills between the experimental class and the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Google Sites-based learning media that incorporates Banten cultural elements for teaching social and natural sciences, specifically focusing on cultural heritage material. The effectiveness of this media in enhancing students' interest and learning outcomes is also examined. This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE framework, which comprises five key phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data sources for this study consist of students, teachers, and relevant documents. Data collection instruments include observation guidelines, interview protocols, questionnaires, and documentation sheets. Both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques are used to examine the data. The results indicate that the validation of the Banten culture-based Google Sites learning material yields a score of 96%, categorized as 'Very Good'. The validation by media experts achieves a score of 88.33%, also categorized as 'Very Good'. Furthermore, the effectiveness test reveals an N-Gain value of 76% and a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05). These findings suggest that the Banten culture-based Google Sites learning media is effective in increasing students' interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penerapan sistem penghargaan (reward) dan hukuman (punishment) merupakan salah satu strategi yang dapat mendukung pembentukan karakter disiplin pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana proses pelaksanaan reward dan punishment berlangsung, faktor-faktor yang mendukung maupun menghambat pelaksanaannya, serta bagaimana karakter disiplin siswa di SDIT Bina Bangsa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah, dua orang guru, serta lima siswa dari kelas I dan IV. Untuk memastikan keabsahan data, digunakan teknik triangulasi yang menggabungkan berbagai metode dan sumber data. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian reward dan punishment berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa. Melalui penerapan metode ini, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan kedisiplinan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan mereka.

Abstract

Ruang kelas karakter yang berpengaruh untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam menciptakan ruang kelas karakter, ruang kelas karakter membutuhkan peran guru di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya menciptakan ruang kelas berkarakter guna memberikan stimulasi bagi implementasi nilai-nilai karakter siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ilmiah ini ialah studi literatur melalui jurnal-jurnal imiah serta buku-buku. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengkaji dan membandingkan sumber literatur untuk mendapatkan data teoritis. Hasil penelitian ini pendidik diharapkan mampu menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang dapat memberikan stimulasi bagi implementasi nilai-nilai karakter siswa, oleh karena itu, pendidik harus menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang berkarakter.
