Abstract

Kualitas yang kurang baik sehingga diperlukan suatu penelitian terkait Sistem Penyediaan Air Minum (SPAM) untuk mengetahui berapa besar kebutuhan air bersih yang harus disediakan untuk Desa Kenerak dan perancangan pemipaan sistem penyediaan air besih dengan memanfaatkan sumber air bersih Sungai Lingkau dari Bukit Merigi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi Sungai Lingkau sebagai sumber air bersih bagi penduduk di Desa Kenerak berdasarkan syarat kualitas, kuantitas dan kontinuitasnya dari hasil survey dan analisis serta merancang pipa pengaliran air Sungai Lingkau (pipa transmisi) untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui ketersediaan air Sungai Lingkau adalah Metode Mock. Sedangkan perancangan sistem pengaliran air bersih pipa transmisi menggunakan perangakat lunak EPANET. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa Sungai Lingkau dapat dijadikan sumber air bersih karena (a) Ketersediaan airnya yang dinyatakan dalam nilai debit andalan 99% rata-rat sebesar 9,52 liter/detik dan dapat mencukupi kebutuhan air penduduk desa Kenerak yang besarnya 5,96 liter/detik. Hasil rancangan jaringan pipa transmisi menggunakan pipa HDPE berdiameter 125-250 mm dengan elevasi tertinggi 90 m didapat pressure tertinggi 58,33 m dan terendah 19,95 m, Velocity tertinggi 0,85 m/s dan terendah 0,42 m/s, serta unit headloss tertinggi 6,91 m/km dan terendah 0,85 m/km. oleh karena itu semua persyaratan seperti preasure (10-100) m, velocity (0,3-3) m/s, dan unit headloss maksimal 10 m/km sudah terpenuhi sehingga menunjukan bahwa pipa transmisi yang dirancang dapat digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih di Desa Kenerak dengan panjang total pipa 3,12 km.

Abstract

The limited availability of long-term discharge data remains a significant challenge for rainfall–runoff modeling in Indonesian watersheds, including the Landak Sub-Watershed. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the Mock and Sacramento rainfall–runoff models in simulating river discharge in the Landak Sub-Watershed during the 2022–2023 period. The data used include rainfall, river discharge, and climatological parameters obtained from relevant institutions. The analysis was conducted through model calibration and validation, with model performance evaluated using the correlation coefficient (r) and the RMSE–Standard Deviation of Observations Ratio (RSR). The results show that the Mock model produced moderate correlation coefficients during both the calibration and validation stages (r = 0.64 and 0.65), but with high RSR values, indicating limited agreement with the observed discharge. The Sacramento model demonstrated better performance, with strong calibration (r = 0.73) and moderate validation (r = 0.66), although the RSR values remained high. Overall, both models can represent flow patterns but are not yet capable of accurately reproducing discharge magnitudes due to data limitations and high rainfall variability

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Intensity–Duration–Frequency (IDF) curve for Pontianak City using short-duration rainfall data recorded at the BRIN automatic weather station from 2014 to 2022. The RAPS consistency test confirmed that the data were statistically valid and suitable for hydrological analysis. Frequency analysis was conducted using several probability distributions, including Normal, Gumbel Type I, Log Pearson Type III, and Log-Normal (2- and 3-parameter), with the Normal distribution selected as the best fit based on goodness-of-fit and chi-square tests. Rainfall intensities were then calculated using the Mononobe method, with a locally calibrated sensitivity parameter m = 0.846. The resulting intensity equations for return periods of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 years follow the exponential form I = a⋅t−0.846, where I is the rainfall intensity (mm/hour), t is the duration (minutes), and a is a return period–specific coefficient. The IDF curves demonstrate an inverse relationship between intensity and duration, confirming expected tropical rainfall behavior. These results provide a reliable tool for urban drainage design and flood risk assessment in Pontianak City

Abstract

Geographical conditions and a suboptimal drainage system capacity make Kubu Raya Regency in West Kalimantan Province highly vulnerable to flooding. This study aims to determine the priority scale in flood control in three subdistricts, including Sungai Raya, Sungai Ambawang, and Kuala Mandor B, by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to stakeholders and related parties to obtain paired assessments of various criteria and alternative strategies. The analysis results show that the most effective priority strategies for each region are a reforestation program in Sungai Raya District, the implementation of flood-prone area zoning in Sungai Ambawang, and a revision of spatial planning policies in Kuala Mandor B. These findings are expected to provide an empirical basis for the local government in formulating effective flood mitigation policies.
