Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, supervision, evaluation and reporting and accountability of the management of school operational assistance fund in SDN Girirejo 02 Ngablak, Magelang Regency. Data were collected by interview, questionnaire and documentation, which were then analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the preparation of the RKAS was on schedule at the beginning of the fiscal year, based on the priority scale of school needs, and involved committees and teachers. The implementation aspect was not entirely successful because the distribution of BOS fund was still too late. Bookkeeping administration was in accordance with Permendiknas No. 48 of 2017. The aspect of supervision was still unsuccessful because there was no supervision from the school committee and related agencies on a regular basis. Evaluation activities by the committee had been conducted even though they had not been maximized. Reporting on the management of BOS fund in SDN Girirejo 02 can be said that it had been successful because it had made a report in accordance with the technical guidelines for managing BOS funds in accordance with Ministry of Education Regulation No.48 2017. The effectiveness of BOS fund management at SD Negeri Girirejo 02 reaches 63%, within the effective criteria.

Abstract

As part of the culture, sport has a variety of forms and meaning that undergo changes from time to time and from society to society. This study is intended to describe the accessability of public spaces, the adaptation patterns of the use of public spaces by participants of ‘sport for all’, forms of interaction, communication and image of “sport for all”, and sociocultural factors that support “sport for all” within the car free day program in Simpang Lima Complex. A phenomenologic naturalistic approach by using a multi-site design was used. The subjects consisted of heads of Semarang City Services, and users of car free day activities. The data were collected by using observation, documents, and interviews.The results show that first, public spaces are external and accessible by all people and consist of parks, city square, roads, and sidewalks. Second, the users of “sport for all” adapt to the available spaces through car free day activities. Third, the symbols of interaction, communication and image of “sport for all” are similar including accessories, fashion and identities to visually demonstrate their community or group existence. Fourth, physical, social, ecologic, and economic aspects of the sociocultural factors support “sport for all”.

Abstract

The increase in people’s prosperity and education level create a change on their view about education and the need for it. Consequently, they choose an education institution in a more selective consideration. Schools under Ma’arif institution in Semarang regency faced some difficulties as the impact. They had negative students growth values in the last three years before the research was conducted. In order to survive, institution's management strategy needed to be evaluated. This research examined the interface between culture and school, with specific reference to branding. The purpose of this research was to develop a cultural branding model for junior high schools under Ma’arif institution. Therefore, it includes research and development (R&D) systematic activities. This study was carried out on a premise that creating a bond between a school and its community by adopting the community’s culture in a formal education setting will help the school to gain certain positioning in their community. After a limited implementation on a Ma’arif’s school, the pilot project school underwent a significant increase in a number of new students. The analysis on the fact resulted in a conclusion that implementation of cultural increase community’s love, emotional attachment, and loyalty to the school. The study also suggested applying the model in a wider scope, at least in regency area as it is only implemented in a school as a pilot project. Applying the model in the different type of schools in wider scope will add the worthy value and benefit of the model.

Abstract

Rencana Pembangunan PLTU Jawa Tengah di kabupaten Batang mengalami kendala penolakan dari sebagian masyarakat. Masyarakat yang menolak menjual lahan menyebabkan rencana pembangunan PLTU menjadi terhambat. Tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai (1) mengidentifikasi dan mekanisme implementasi rencana pembangunan PLTU Batang, (2) mengkaji, menganalisis kendala dalam proses perencanaan pembangunan PLTU, (3) menganalisais strategi pendekatan sosial pada masyarakat sekitar proyek pembangunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengambil lokasi di Batang Desa Ujungnegoro, Ponowareng dan Karanggeneng. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan FGD. Pengolahan data menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan mekanisme perencanaan pembangunan sesuai prosedur perencanaan pembangunan. Pelaksanan proyek, pemerintah dan masyarakat terlibat dalam perencanaan. Pelaksanan dan pemerintah telah melakukan pendekatan intensif kepada masyarakat . Masyarakat menolak rencana pembangunan PLTU karena alasan takut kehilangan pekerjaan dan alasan lingkungan hidup. Pembangunan PLTU dianggap akan mencemari lingkungan yang merupakan area konservasi laut. Strategi partisipasif digunakan supaya masyarakat mau menerima rencana pembangunan.

Abstract

Derasnya arus globalisasi dan modernisasi membawa dampak pada berubahnya gaya hidup masyarakat di Kota Pekalongan. Perubahan gaya hidup ini sering dialami oleh remaja, khususnya remaja yang berasal dari golongan ekonomi kelas menengah. Hal ini disebabkan karena remaja tersebut memiliki modal yang cukup dari pendapatan ekonomi orang tuanya. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Kota Pekalongan dengan pertimbangan bahwa kota ini adalah salah satu kota kelas menengah yang mempunyai keunikan tersendiri. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola pendidikan keluarga keluarga kelas menengah, sekolah dan masyarakat. Selain itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pergaulan, perilaku konsumsi dan komunikasi remaja kelas menengah yang akan menggambarkan gaya hidupnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan teknik analisis data interaktif dalam pembahasannya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup remaja kelas menengah yang terlihat dari pergaulan, pilihan konsumsi dan komunikasi merupakan cerminan hasil dari pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh keluarga, sekolah dan lingkungan masyarakat. The rise of globalization and modernization bring the effect to the changes of the lifestyle in the people of Pekalongan. These lifestyle changes are often experienced by teenagers, especially young people who come from the middle-class economy. These happen because they have sufficient capital from their parent income. This study took place in Pekalongan considering that this city is one of the middle-class cities that has its own uniqueness. The purpose of this research is to determine the educational pattern of the family, school and the community from the middle-class. In addition this research is conducted to determine the social intercourse, consumption behavior and the communication of the middle-class teenagers which will describe their lifestyle. The method used in this research is a qualitative research by using interactive data analysis techniques to the discussion. The result of the research showed that the lifestyle of middle-class teenager which can be seen from the social intercourse, the choice of consumption and communication are a reflection of the education result by the family, school and society environment.

Abstract

Beragam suku dan budaya yang ada di Provinsi Aceh diantaranya suka Gayo yang berada di kabupaten Aceh Tengah, masyarakat etnis Gayo memiliki kebudayaan, seni, tradisi dan kegiatan sosial budaya lainya yang seharusnya dapat dijadikan sebagai destinasi wisata budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pengelolaan wisata budaya, menganalisis kendala-kendala dalam pengelolaan wisata budaya, menganalisis strategi pengembangan wisata budaya di Kota Takengon. Metode penelitan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil model pengelolaan pariwisata di Kota Takengon masyarakat dan pemerintah tidak sejalan dalam pengembangan pariwisata, dan yang menjadi kendala untuk pengembangan pariwisata kurangnya sarana prasarana, tidak adanya bus pariwisata dan terkendala dengan anggaran dalam pagelaran kesenian. Adapun strategi pengembangan pariwisata sudah baik dalam pembuatan event pagelaran kesenian dan sosial budaya masyarakat tetapi kegiatan tersebut belum maksimal.Various tribes and cultures that exist in Aceh province such as Gayo that reside at Central Aceh. Gayo people have their own cultures, arts, traditions and other socio- cultural activities that could have been used as cultural tourism destinations. This study aims to analyze the model of cultural tourism management. Furthermore, this study analyzes the obstacles within the management of cultural tourism and the strategy of cultural tourism development in Takengon city. This study uses qualitative approach as the research methodology. The results of the model of tourism management in Takengon city showed that the community and the government are not aligned in the development of tourism, and the things that become the obstacles to the development of tourism are lack of infrastructure, unavailability of tourism buses and limited budget in setting up any art performances. The tourism development strategy has been good in the making event of art performances and socio- culture of society but the activity has not been maximized.

Abstract

The development of modern technology and information that is accompanied by globalization and modernization has had an impact to the citizen of Kudus lifestye. The changes of Kudus into a cyber-city also affect the lives of adolescents in the Kudus City. It is also affects the use of gadgets in adolescents in the Kudus City because of sufficient parental income levels and demands of the use of technology in educational devices in the Kudus City. This study was conducted in Kudus City because Kudus City is an industrial city which is a religious society and has a program as a cyber City. The purpose of this research is to determine the lifestyle of adolescent users of gadgets in the Kudus City. In addition, this study was also conducted to determine the pattern of family and school education on the lifestyle of adolescents with the development of cyber city in the Kudus City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with interactive data analysis. The results of this study is the determination of technology on the adolescent lifestyle of gadget users seen from social interaction, consumption behavior and closely related to the pattern of family and school education in the development of cyber in the Kudus City.

Abstract

Students in the District Galesong Takalar not understand the cultural values ​​of the nation so that they do not correspond to the violation of norms that exist in society. The purpose of this study build social studies learning models based on cultural values ​​of the nation. The method used is the method mix types equental exsploratory strategy, data collection techniques by observation, documentation interviews, and questionnaires. Use of data analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation, inferences and simple linear regression test. The focus of research about learning model IPS. The results showed that the factors affecting the formation of the character of students in the Public Junior High School 2 Galesong Takalar including family environment by 83.0%, 54.2% of the school environment, relationships 68.4% and 55.1% of social media while at Madrasah Aliyah Assalamiah Galesong influence of family environment of 88.2%, 79.0% of the school environment, relationships 43.6% and 73.7% of social media. This study recommends value clarification technique study model for shaping the character of students in social studies.

Abstract

The Ngabul market relocation in the process of implementation caused social problems, the majority of market traders who were members of the Ngabul market traders association rejected the policy. This study aims to analyze the occurrence of conflict in the process of implementing the market relocation policy of the Annual District of Ngabul in Jepara Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach. The technique of collecting data through in-depth interview, observation and document study. The data analysis in this study used Spradley model analysis techniques, including domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, compound analysis, and analysis of cultural themes. The results showed that the conflict in the implementation process of Ngabul market relocation policy was caused by differences of opinion between related parties, communication problems, and differences in the disposition of policy implementers with market traders, village authorities continued to develop new markets, after the market was inaugurated, the majority of market traders long time they maintain their attitude not to occupy new markets and they prefer to sell in the emerging market that is built with self-financing on land owned by residents. The findings of this study are the reality of the causes of conflict in the implementation of Ngabul village market relocation policy can be categorized into Ralf Dahrendorf's conflict theory. The reality of the conflict cannot be separated from the theory of Edward III's policy implementation. The benefits of the findings of this study can be used as a reference for the preparation of strategic steps in solving the problem of market relocation.

Abstract

Motorcycle incorporated in Paguyuban Angkutan Sepeda motor Muria (PASMM) or Muria Motorcycle Transportation Association is the main job of the community in Colo Village, Kudus Regency. The monopoly of PASMM in Colo Village is inseparable from a number of pilgrims in Sunan Muria. Based on this phenomenon, this study aimed at describing and analyzing socio-cultural background, social capital, and the increase in the family income of the members of PASMM motorcycle in Colo Village. The research methode used is to use a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, the data used were primary data, and secondary data. These data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. For the interviews, the researchers involved the members of PASMM motorcycle. They were selected using simple random sampling, and grouped into two, namely morning shift group and evening shift group. The results showed that: (1) PASMM had 391 members divided into two shifts, namely morning shift group, and evening shift group; (2) it had social capital in form of trust, norms, and network which established mutual trust among the members; (3) the income earned by the members of PASMM ranged from Rp 75,000 to Rp 150.000,00 per day. What is important from this findings was the solidarity among PASMM members to maintain the existence of PASMM from online taxi. Its existence was proved by the rule stating that the only person who is able to be PASMM member is the native people of Colo Village. The findings can contribute some significances. First, they can be a reference for the development of the use of social media. Second, they can improve the welfare of PASMM members in Colo Village.
