Abstract

Hipertensi identik dengan kenaikan tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik yang mengakibatkan gangguan pada pembuluh darah, sehingga suplai oksigen dan zat gizi pada darah terhambat ke seluruh tubuh. tujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan perilaku gizi seimbang terhadap kejadian hipertensi di Desa Sugiharjo, Kecamatan Batang Kuis. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian survei analitik dengan desai cross sectional. Adapun populasi yang digunakan adalah masyarakat penderita hipertensi yang berusia 30-60 tahun. Skrining dilakukan pada 135 responden dengan mengisi lembar observasi, mengukur tekanan darah, sehingga diperoleh 35 subjek hipertensi. Hasil karakteristik responden diperoleh jenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 22 orang (62,9%), kategori umur terdiri dari 30-50 tahun sebanyak 18 orang (51,4%), mayoritas responden lulusan SD sebanyak 17 orang (48,6%), kategori pre hipertensi sebanyak 19 orang (54,3%), tingkat pengetahuan dengan kategori kurang 13 orang (37,1%), karakteristik perilaku gizi seimbang mayoritas masih kurang yaitu sebanyak 28 orang (80,0%) dan analisis perilaku gizi seimbang dengan kejadian hipertensi kategori baik dari 7 orang responden pre hipertensi sebanyak 19 orang (57,1%) nilai p-value 0,048. Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dan perilaku gizi seimbang dengan kejadian hipertensi di desa Sugiharjo.

Abstract

Abstrak Pemberian air susu ibu secara eksklusif merupakan pilihan terbaik untuk bayi yang baru lahir hingga usia 2 tahun. Masalah yang timbul pada ibu menyusui adalah produksi jumlah ASI yang tidak maksimal. Salah satu penyebab masalah tersebut adalah asupan gizi yang rendah sehingga banyak bayi yang kebutuhan gizinya kurang terpenuhi. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi pengabdian masyarakat ini telah dilakukan selama empat hari di Puskesmas Pantai Cermin. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan produksi ASI ibu menyusui melalui pemberian bolu kukus daun katuk. Ibu menyusui diberikan 1 porsi bolu kukus daun katuk yang terdiri dari 3 potong yang masing-masing beratnya 15 gram selama empat hari. Pada hari pertama tim pelaksana melakukan edukasi tentang ASI melalui ceramah dan diskusi serta memperkenalkan produk bolu kukus daun katuk dilanjutkan dengan demonstrasi pembuatan bolu kukus daun katuk dan pemberian bolu kukus daun katuk kepada peserta. Pemberian bolu kukus daun katuk dilanjutkan hingga hari ke empat dan lembar observasi tentang frekuensi menyusui dibagikan setiap hari. Berdasarkan sosialisasi ini didapatkan hasil bahwa ibu menyusui mengalami peningkatan frekuensi menyusui dalam 24 jam. Disimpulkan bahwa produk bolu kukus daun katuk efektif meningkatkan produksi ASI. Abstract Exclusive breastfeeding was the best choice for newborns up to 2 years of age. The distribution of katuk leaf steamed sponge was continued until the fourth day and the observation sheet on the frequency of breastfeeding was distributed every day. Based on this socialization, it was found that breastfeeding mothers had an increasing of the frequency of breastfeeding within 24 hours. Abstract

During pregnancy anemia often occurs, anemia is a term that is often used for a decrease in hemoglobin (Hb) levels. Anemia during pregnancy can increase the risk of death during childbirth, give birth to babies with low birth weight, miscarriage and increase the risk of premature birth. Health promotion activities through the provision of red spinach juice can be used as an alternative in socializing the prevention and treatment of anemia in pregnant women. The purpose of implementing community service is to maintain the health quality of pregnant women so that they are not at risk of anemia during pregnancy through health promotion and providing simple treatment through the provision of red spinach juice. This community service was carried out for two days at the Salma clinic, Perbaungan District. On the first day of the activity, starting from registration, checking hemoglobin levels before giving red spinach juice, delivering material, demonstration of making red spinach juice and giving red spinach juice. On the second day of implementation, checking hemoglobin levels to see changes in hemoglobin levels after giving spinach juice. red. The results of the examination of hemoglobin levels showed that the mean hemoglobin level before administration of red spinach juice to pregnant women was 10.30 and after administration of 10.89 with a median value before administration of 10.15 and after administration of 10.75, SD value before administration of 0. ,6 and the SD value after administration was 0.5 with a minimum hemoglobin level before administration of 10 and after administration of 10, the maximum hemoglobin level before administration was 12 and after administration was 13. Abstract

Abstrak Pemberian ASI eksklusif memiliki peran yang sangat besar terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada bayi terutama pada periode 0-24 bulan. Masalah yang timbul pada ibu nifas kegagalan dalam menyusui. Salah satu penyebab kejadian kegagalan menyusui adalah kurangnya informasi pengetahuan tentang ASI dan sumber bahan pangan dapat meningkatkan produksi ASI. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi pengabdian masyarakat ini telah dilaksanakan selama tiga hari di Rumah Sakit Grandmed Lubuk Pakam. Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan produksi ASI ibu nifas melalui pemberian daun torbangun. Ibu menyusui diberikan 1 porsi daun torbangun rebus selama tiga hari. Pada hari pertama tim pelaksana melakukan edukasi dan diskusi tentang manfaat daun torbangun untuk meningkatkan produksi ASI. Berdasarkan kegiatan sosialisasi ini diperoleh para peserta mendapat informasi dan pengetahuan tentang manfaat ASI dan pemanfaatan daun torbangun terhadap peningkatan produksi ASI. Dari hasil sosialisasi selama tiga hari bahwa ibu nifas dapat menyusui bayi dengan rata-rata 11,6 menit dengan lama menyusui paling lama adalah 17 menit setiap kali menyusui. Problems that arise in postpartum mothers are failure to breastfeed. One of the causes of breastfeeding failure is the lack of information about breastfeeding and food sources that can increase breast milk production. The implementation of this community service socialization has been carried out for three days at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. The purpose of this outreach activity is to increase breast milk production for postpartum mothers through the provision of torbangun leaves. Breastfeeding mothers were given 1 portion of boiled torbangun leaves for three days. On the first day, the implementation team conducted education and discussion about the benefits of torbangun leaves to increase breast milk production. Based on this socialization activity, participants got information and knowledge about the benefits of breastfeeding and the use of torbangun leaves to increase breast milk production. From the results of socialization for three days that postpartum mothers can breastfeed their babies with an average of 11.6 minutes with the longest breastfeeding time is 17 minutes each time. Abstract

Kejadian anemia penyebab utama pendarahan. Anemia merupakan suatu masalah kesehatan akibat defisiensi mineral zat besi (Fe). Penyakit ini merupakan salah satu penyakit yang berhubungan dengan ibu hamil yang dapat mengganggu kesehatan ibu dan janin. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi pengabdian masyarakat ini telah dilaksanakan selama empat hari di Rumah Sakit Grandmed Lubuk Pakam. Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin melalui pemberian minuman kurma. Ibu hamil diberikan 1 gelas minuman kurma selama empat hari. Pada hari pertama tim pelaksana melakukan edukasi dan diskusi tentang manfaat kurma untuk meningkatkan kadar Hb. Berdasarkan kegiatan sosialisasi ini diperoleh para peserta mendapat informasi dan pengetahuan tentang anemia dan pemanfaatan minuman kurma terhadap peningkatan kadar Hb. Dari hasil sosialisasi selama empat hari bahwa setelah pemberian minuman kurma dapat meningkatkan kadar Hb ibu hamil anemia dengan rata-rata 0,24 mg/dl dari 18 peserta. The implementation of this community service socialization has been carried out for four days at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. The purpose of this socialization activity is to increase hemoglobin levels through the provision of date drinks. Pregnant women are given 1 glass of date drink for four days. On the first day, the implementing team conducted education and discussion about the benefits of dates to increase Hb levels. Based on this socialization activity, participants obtained information and knowledge about anemia and the use of date drinks to increase Hb levels. From the results of socialization for four days that after giving dates drinks can increase the Hb level of anemic pregnant women by an average of 0.24 mg/dl from 18 participants.

Abstract

Penyakit tidak menular seperti Diabetes mellitus (DM) menunjukkan kenaikan setiap tahunnya. Hal ini dikarenakan penyakit DM merupakan penyakit yang belum diketahui cara penyembuhannya selain melakukan pencakokan pankreas sebagai produsen insulin. DM dapat berakibat fatal bila tidak dikelola dengan baik dan dapat menyebabkan penyakit komplikasi lainnya. Edukasi penerapan tata laksana diet merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengendalikan glukosa darah pasien DM serta mencegah terjadinya peningkatan keparahan penyakit dan komplikasi. Pasien yang mengikuti edukasi penyakit DM yang dilaksanakan di RS Grandmed Lubuk Pakam berjumlah 50 orang dengan persentase laki-laki 56,7% dan perempuan 43,3% kemudian nilai pengukuran tekanan darah peserta yang normal 97,3% dan hipertensi 2,7%. Edukasi merupakan salah satu cara yang direkomenasikan oleh WHO dalam menekan terjadinya peningkatan dan keparahan penyakit DM tipe-2. Hasil edukasi yang telah dilakukan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kewaspadaan dan perhatian peserta dalam mengedalikan penyakit DM tipe-2 melalui penerapan tata laksana diet yang telah diberikan.

Abstract

Breastfeeding problems that often arise in the postpartum period are breast engorgement or also called breast milk dams. Cabbage leaf cold compress can have an effect in reducing the intensity and swelling of the breast, cabbage leaf contains sinigrin (allylisothiocyanate) rapine, mustardoil, magnesium, oxylate, sulfur and has antibiotic, anti-irritating, and anti-inflammatory properties. The content in cabbage leaves can help increase blood flow to the area of ​​swelling, and expand capillary networks so that it has properties that can be used to reduce swelling and inflammation of the breast so that it affects the smoothness of milk. This community service is carried out on postpartum mothers. The first preparation before going into the field was discussing the material that would be socialized to postpartum mothers. The next preparation is making banners that facilitate the socialization process. Cabbage leaf cold compresses are proven to reduce breast pain. Cabbage leaves contain sulfur and antibiotic properties that can reduce the pain of breast engorgement and reduce inflammation in the breast. In addition, processed cabbage leaves can be sold to generate income for postpartum mothers.

Abstract

Sanitation is an effort to maintain health in the food sector through controlling environmental health, cleanliness of raw materials, workers, equipment and so on. Poor sanitation hygiene will have a major impact, especially in the field of nutrition in hospitals. Foods that have good nutritional components without attention to hygiene and sanitation will be less than optimal for the benefits felt by the body. This is because sanitation hygiene can reduce the value of the nutritional quality of the food components in question. This community service activity is carried out with the aim of providing knowledge of workers in the field of hospital nutrition in maintaining and maintaining the nutritional value of food to consumers and patients. This activity was carried out in November 2021 at the Sembiring Delitua General Hospital. This activity was carried out using lecture and interactive methods with 24 participants. The final result of the implementation of community service provided an increase in knowledge and awareness of the importance of sanitation for the participants by 26.17%. It is hoped that this activity can have a greater impact not only on workers, work units but also patients who visit the hospital.

Abstract

Currently, the spread of COVD-19 can be directly transmitted between humans, resulting in an extraordinary number of cases throughout 2022 until now. The condition of Covid-19 nutritional intake affects a person's immune system. To increase the acceptance of local products in the student environment, it is done by creating ginger and tempeh flour food bars which play a role in increasing the immune system. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and train the skills of HMKG students. This activity will be held on March 21-22 2022. The venue for this activity is the Lubuk Pakam Medical Institute Campus. The target audience for this activity are active students of the Public Health and Nutrition Association (HMKG) of the Faculty of Public Health, Lubuk Pakam Medistra Health Institute, male and female, with a total of 20 participants. Based on the results of monitoring and evaluation during the socialization and education activities aimed at measuring success, it was found that before the socialization and education were carried out, the average student questionnaire results were 53.33 while after the activities had increased so that the average obtained was 86.66 from the maximum result was 100 points. based on the assessment of the attributes of texture, color, aroma and taste that the results of food bars products are group C. Based on the organoleptic assessment that the highest rating is on aroma. The aroma of the resulting product is the dominant aroma of ginger. Based on the results of this activity, it can be concluded that the HMKG students of the Mediatra Lubuk Pakam Health Institute as partners know the importance of maintaining and improving the body's immune system during the Covid-19 endemic period. In this activity, HMKG students experienced an increase in knowledge.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan faktor utama risiko jantung coroner, stroke, gagal jantung maupun gagal ginjal. Penyebab kejadian hipertensi tidaklah spesifik, namun hipertensi merupakan respon meningkatnya tekanan perifer. Adapun faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya hipertensi yaitu usia, jenis kelamin, obesitas, merokok, genetik dan aktivitas fisik. Salah satu pencegahan dan pengendalian menurunkan kejadian hipertensi yaitu dengan mengatur asupan makanan sehari-hari sebagai terapi. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bahwa pentingnya perilaku diet bagi penderita hipertensi di Desa Sugiharjo Kecamatan Batang Kuis. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahap terdiri dari tahap pertama dengan melakukan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa agar program yang dilakukan sesuai dan tepat sasaran. Untuk tahap kedua tim dosen dan mahasiswa melakukan penyuluhan kesehatan diet. Tahap ketiga dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi bagi peserta. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini memberikan pengalaman belajar bagi mahasiswa, melatih rasa percaya diri, meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dan menambah pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang penyuluhan diet hipertensi. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan peserta meningkat sebesar 45%. Berdasarkan kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa seluruh tim pengabdi masyarakat beserta peserta bekerja sama dengan baik.
