Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian multi tahun yang merupakan rangkaian dari penelitian pengembangan dengan tujuan mengembangkan media presentasi berbasis ClassPoint pada mata kuliah Persamaan Diferensial Elementer (PDE). Model pengembangan yang dipakai yaitu ADDIE dengan langkah-langkah: analisis (analyze), pada tahap ini dilakukan analisis kebutuhan yakni dengan menganalisis RPS, analisis sumber belajar, dan melakukan wawancara dengan dosen sejawat; desain (design), yaitu tahap perancangan media presentasi yang sesuai dengan hasil analisis kebutuhan; pengembangan (develop), yakni mengembangkan media presntasi yang telah dirancang, kemudian divalidasi oleh pakar; implementasi (implement) dan evaluasi (evaluate), di tahap ini produk ujicoba dalam skala kecil dan besar guna melihat praktikalitas dan efektivitas dari media presentasi yang telah dikembangkan. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi, angket, dan pedoman wawancara, dan tes, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Pada tahun pertama ini dilakukan penelitian sampai tahap pengembangan (develop), yakni sampai menghasilkan media presentasi berbasis ClassPoint yang valid. Hasil penilaian oleh pakar terlihat bahwa untuk aspek isi/materi, penyajian dan kegrafikaan media presentasi berbasis ClassPoint tergolong sangat valid. Untuk aspek bahasa berada pada kategori valid. Tahun kedua akan dilanjutkan dengan tahapan berikutnya, yaitu implementasi (implement) dan evaluasi (evaluate) dengan melakukan uji coba baik skala kecil maupun besar untuk melihat praktikalitas dan efektivitas. Kata Kunci: ClassPoint, Media Presentasi, Pengembangan, PPT.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil diskusi yang dilakukan bersama dengan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sukabumi, masih banyak permasalahan-permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran di kelas, misalnya pembelajaran berjalan satu arah hanya dari guru kepada peserta didik, metode yang digunakan kebanyakan ceramah sehingga suasana pembelajaran menjadi bosan, pemilihan media pembelajaran monoton dan tidak variatif, motivasi belajar peserta didik rendah, serta kurangnya perhatian peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Maka dari itu tim pengabdian melakukan pelatihan kepada guru menengah di SMPN 1 Sukaraja agar dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif dengan menggunakan Aplikasi ClassPoint. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah metode presentasi mengenai pengenalan software, kemanfaataannya, dan penerapannya dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif, serta metode demonstrasi mengenai pengoperasionalisasian program. Terdapat kendala dalam pelatihan yaitu kurangnya waktu yang diberikan dan akses jaringan yang sulit. Based on the results of discussions held together with the Sukabumi District Education Office, there are still many problems found in classroom learning, for example learning goes in one direction only from the teacher to the students, the method used is mostly lectures so the learning atmosphere becomes bored, the choice of learning media monotonous and not varied, low student learning motivation, and lack of student attention during the learning process. Therefore, the service team conducted training for secondary teachers at SMPN 1 Sukaraja so they could create interesting and interactive learning using the ClassPoint Application. The method applied in this training activity is a presentation method regarding the introduction of software, its benefits, and its application in creating interactive learning media, as well as a demonstration method regarding the operationalization of the program. There are obstacles in training, namely the lack of time given and difficult network access.

Abstract

Background: ANOVA analysis is crucial for comparing multiple population means and is highly beneficial for final-year students. However, many face challenges in mastering it due to the lengthy SPSS installation process and the complexity of ANOVA material. Despite its importance, ANOVA training is rarely conducted. This research aims to fill that gap. Contribution: This community service aims to provide creative training for participants regarding ANOVA analysis using SPSS applications technology. Method: Final-year students (semester 6 and above) participated in basic training using SPSS 22. Pre- and post-training evaluations measured effectiveness. Results: The evaluation results showed that 92% of participants from final year students experienced improvement in mastering ANOVA analysis. Conclusion: This activity successfully increased students' knowledge to master ANOVA analysis using SPSS 22 applications. Thus, it allows the emergence of various research topics that apply the ANOVA application so that research in the academic world becomes better.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di SMP SMART Ekselensia Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP SMART Ekselensia Indonesia untuk tahun akademik 2023/2024. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kuasi Eksperimen dengan desain Posttest-Only Control Group. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B di SMP SMART Ekselensia Indonesia. Kemampuan pemecahan masalahan matematika siswa diukur dengan instrumen penelitian berupa 5 soal uraian pada pokok bahasan peluang yang telah diuji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi α=0,05, didapatkan bahwa nilai dan sehingga , sehingga tolak . Besar pengaruh diuji menggunakan Cohen’s Effect Size dan diperoleh nilai d sebesar 1,1. Nilai tersebut termasuk ke dalam kategori large atau besar dengan besar persentase 86%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran model Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP SMART Ekselensia Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dipengaruhi oleh model SiMaYang berbantuan LKPD interaktif. Penelitian ini mengunakan desain post-test only control group dan penelitian eksperimen semu. Teknik cluster random sampling digunakan untuk memilih sampel, hal ini menyebabkan penggunaan siswa SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta kelas X-1 dan X-2 sebagai subjek penelitian. Tujuh soal uraian yang berkaitan dengan materi barisan dan deret yang telah terbukti valid dan reliabel membentuk instrumen tes. Hasil analisis hipotesis diperoleh melalui uji-t’ dengan tingkat signifikansi α=0,05, menunjukkan bahwa nilai 〖t'〗_hitung=3,8405 ≥ 〖t'〗_tabel=0,0632. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penolakan hipotesis nol, yang mengindikasikan bahwa peserta didik yang menggunakan model SiMaYang memilki rata-rata pemahaman konsep yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang belajar dengan metode konvensional. Penerapan model pembelajaran SiMaYang berbantuan LKPD interaktif berpengaruh pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Dengan persentase sebesar 82%, nilai Cohen’s effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,9159 masuk ke dalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' mathematical literacy skills reviewed from problem-solving skills in solving AKM-shaped questions. The method of this research is a qualitative descriptive study. This study was conducted in class 10 MAN 3 Jakarta Pusat and took 251 students as respondents. Data collection in this study was carried out by conducting problem-solving tests, mathematical literacy tests, and interviews. Based on the level of mathematics literacy achievement, students are grouped into 4 levels, namely, requiring special intervention, basic, professional, and advanced. While problem-solving skills are grouped into 3 categories, namely low, medium, and high. The results showed that most students, regardless of problem-solving skills category, were at “needing special intervention” level in mathematical literacy achievement. However, no students in the low problem-solving skills category reached the advanced level in mathematical literacy. Students often ignore the “looking back” step in problem solving. In fact, ignoring this step causes many students to make mistakes in the final results, including students with higher problem-solving skills. These results indicate the importance of teacher intervention in mathematics learning so that students are more careful and effective in solving problems.

Abstract

One of the research objectives was formulated to improve the quality of education, namely by understanding the problems of students and teachers. There were three main groups of quality characteristics of education highlighted in scientific and academic literature in Russia, namely the quality of educational objectives, the quality of the educational process, and the quality of educational outcomes. The problem of education in Indonesia is the quality of the education process. The development of teaching materials is an alternative to improve the quality of the education process. Research so far has only focused on the implementation of learning models by teachers in the classroom, but the model is not integrated into the teaching materials used. This paper examines how the effectiveness of a product that has been developed for two years on 27 Indonesian students. The product produced is a guided discovery-based module in the Complex Analysis subject. This product was developed after the preliminary analysis (defining) process. Students are given 16 modules during lectures; then students are given a final test containing all the competencies that must be achieved. Test results are scored, and statistical analyses are conducted to compare them with student score before using the module. The test used is t-test. The design used is one of the experimental research designs, One Shot Case Study. The results of the study showed that students who were taught with modules developed effectively to improve student learning outcomes. Further research can be done by implementing different learning models in teaching materials.

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning is an important aspect of mathematics education that involves logical thinking, problem analysis, and drawing conclusions based on existing data. Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) connects mathematical concepts with real situations that train students' logical thinking so that reasoning skills tend to improve. Therefore, it is important to analyze the development of RME research on reasoning skills. This analysis presents a bibliometric analysis of the literature on RME-based learning to improve mathematical reasoning, using data from Google Scholar accessed through the Publish Or Perish software and analyzed with the help of VOSViewer software. Through keyword searches for "RME" and "Mathematical Reasoning", 167 relevant documents were analyzed based on performance analysis, citation metrics, co-words, and co- authorship networks. The analysis reveals that publications on RME-based learning to improve reasoning skills have increased recently, although from 2008 to 2016 it was less than 4 per year. Indonesia has made significant contributions to RME research, with many of its authors actively involved in this field. The analysis identifies recent trends in advancing reasoning skills, including exploring topics such as the use of technology, media integration, hybrid learning models, and various approaches in RME-based teaching. In addition, this analysis highlights the potential for further research on the use of student worksheets as a widely applied learning medium in RME-based education to improve mathematical reasoning.

Abstract

The practice of learning mathematics students find it difficult to understand the material of geometry transformation. The success of students in learning geometry transformation is still low because teachers use conventional teaching and have not implemented learning innovations. Learning tools become one of the components that support the success of learning activities. This study aims to analyze the results of teacher interviews and student questionnaires to analyze the needs of learning devices with reciprocal teaching models assisted by GeoGebra on geometric transformation material. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Respondents in this study were mathematics teachers and students at SMA Negeri 2 Jonggol with a total of 60 respondents in class XI. This research instrument uses interviews and needs questionnaires to students presented on the google form platform. Data analysis techniques by analyzing and describing mathematics teacher interview data and student questionnaire data are analyzed in detail. The results of this study are 1) schools use Merdeka Curriculum in mathematics learning activities, 2) the material that students have difficulty with is geometric transformation material, 3) teachers have never used the reciprocal teaching model in learning mathematics, 4) teaching materials used include PowerPoint, LKPD, modules, and school textbooks, 5) GeoGebra has been used for two-variable linear inequality material, but not yet for geometric transformation material. It can be concluded that students and teachers need learning tools using the reciprocal teaching model assisted by GeoGebra which is implemented in mathematics learning, especially geometric transformation material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalis pengaruh model Problem- Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Metode penelitian ini adalah meta-analisis, yaitu menganalisis penelitian-penelitian empiris yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 10 artikel penelitian pada jurnal nasional. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) menentukan domain penelitian yang akan dianalisis, (2) menentukan penelitian yang relevan yang terdiri atas pertimbangan diantara lain variable yang diteliti yaitu model project based learning dan/ kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis, desain penelitian dan jenis publikasi berupa artikel hasil penelitian, (3) melakuan pengkodean seperti karakteristik desain penelitian serta karakteristik referensi penelitian yang digunakan, dan (4) menghitung effect size. Perhitungan effect size menggunakan jenis meta-analisis Group Contrast dengan jenis Standardized Mean Difference dikarenakan skala nilai yang digunakan diseluruh penelitian relevan tidak cukup jelas atau berbeda- beda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model Problem-Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Hal tersebut terlihat dari hasil perhitungan rerata effect size yang berkategori tinggi.
