Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of information services via Instagram on the self-actualization of students and whether there are differences in the level of self-actualization between two groups with different treatments. The implementation at SMP Negeri 6 Malang used two samples, class VIII (B) as an experimental class and VIII (D) as a control class with 32 students each. Experimental classes, treatment through Instagram and control classes conventionally use power points. The implementation started on March 22 - April 19, 2022, with seven treatments and no sample withdrawals. Research method with true experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. Hypothesis test with independent sample test through SPSS 22 to find out the comparison of experimental and control class scores. The pretest output in the experimental class has a mean of 84.72 and a posttest of 99.59. The control class at the pretest has a mean of 88.19 and a post-test of 93.63. The results of the independent sample test on the pretest have a value of F (0.442) with a significance (2-tailed) of 0.137 greater than 0.05 which means that there is no noticeable difference, then at the time of post-test it shows a value of F (1.028) with a significance (2-tailed) of 0.003 less than 0.05, so there is a striking difference between the level of self-actualization of the experimental and control classes. Abstrak: Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas layanan informasi via instagram terhadap aktualisasi diri peserta didik dan ada tidaknya perbedaan tingkat aktualisasi diri antara dua kelompok dengan perlakukan yang berbeda. Pelaksanaan di SMP Negeri 6 Malang dengan memakai dua sampel, kelas VIII (B) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII (D) sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing 32 peserta didik. Kelas eksperimen, treatment melalui instagram dan kelas kontrol secara konvensional menggunakan power point. Pelaksanaan mulai tanggal 22 Maret - 19 April 2022 dengan tujuh kali treatment dan tidak ada sampel yang gugur. Metode penelitian dengan true experimental dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Uji Hipotesis dengan independent sample test melalui SPSS 22 untuk mengetahui perbandingan skor kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Output pretest pada kelas eksperimen memiliki mean 84.72 dan posttest 99.59. Kelas kontrol saat pretest memiliki mean 88.19 dan posttest 93.63. Hasil uji independent sample test pada pretest memiliki nilai F (0.442) dengan signifikansi (2-tailed) 0.137 lebih besar dari 0.05 yang berarti tidak adanya perbedaan yang mencolok, kemudian pada saat posttest menunjukkan nilai F (1.028) dengan signifikansi (2-tailed) 0.003 lebih kecil dari 0.05, sehingga ada perbedaan yang mencolok antara tingkat aktualisasi diri kelas eksperimen dan kontrol.

Abstract

Abstract: The understanding of national intelligence is important for students because in early adolescence, junior high school students are in a state of lability in emotional development. However, circumstances in the field show that many counselors have difficulty in helping students obtain proper information about such emotional intelligence due to the absence of adequate instruments. The purpose of this study is to develop an inventory of emotional intelligence. For this reason, the design is development research. The stages of its development, the preparation of the construct of characteristics to be measured, the preparation of the instrument grid, the preparation of statement items (items), the implementation of expert considerations, the analysis of expert consideration results, field trials, analysis of the results of field trials and revisions, the preparation of norms and guidelines for the use of instruments, and the preparation of reports. The population of this study was junior high school students in East Java Province with the research sample being 389 junior high school students taken using the multistage technique of cluster random sampling area. The study produced a set of emotional intelligence inventories of East Java Junior High School students with adequate validity and reliability as well as practical five-scale norms for counselors to use in uncovering the emotional intelligence of junior high school students in East Java. Based on these results, it is hoped that further research will be carried out with evidence of predictive validity and the development of guidelines for the use of emotional intelligence inventories for East Java Junior High School students. Abstrak: Pemahaman kecerdasan nasional penting bagi siswa karena pada usia remaja awal, siswa SMP berada pada kondisi labil dalam perkembangan emosi. Namun, keadaan dilapangan menunjukkan banyak konselor mengalami kesulitan dalam membantu siswa memperoleh informasi yang tepat tentang kecerdasan emosional tersebut karena tidak adanya instrumen yang memadai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan inventori kecerdasan emosional. Untuk itu rancangannya adalah penelitian pengembangan. Tahap-tahap pengembangannya, penyusunan konstruk karakteristik yang hendak diukur, penyusunan kisi-kisi instrumen, penyusunan butir pernyataan (item), pelaksanaan pertimbangan pakar, analisis hasil pertimbangan pakar, uji coba lapangan, analisis hasil uji coba lapangan dan revisi, penyusunan norma dan panduan penggunaan instrumen, dan penyusunan laporan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP di Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan sampel penelitian adalah 389 siswa SMP yang diambil dengan teknik multistages area cluster random sampling. Penelitian menghasilkan seperangkat inventori kecerdasan emosional siswa SMP Jawa Timur dengan validitas dan reliabilitas memadai serta norma skala lima yang praktis untuk digunakan konselor dalam mengungkap kecerdasan emosional siswa SMP di Jawa Timur. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut diharapkan dilakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan bukti validitas prediktif dan pengembangan panduan penggunaan inventori kecerdasan emosional siswa SMP Jawa Timur.

Abstract

This research examines the Konseling Intensif dan Progresif yang Adaptif terhadap Struktur counseling model (KIPAS) based on Indonesia's archipelago. In English, this means Intensive and Progressive Counseling Adaptive to Structure. The model constitutes good news (Kabar gembira), data integration and Internalization (Integrasi dan internalisasi data), action planning (Perencanaan tindakan), plan actualization (Aktualisasi rencana), and celebration or certification (Selebrasi/Sertifikasi). Together, these steps form an acronym of KIPAS, a counseling model whose steps should be tested empirically to describe the users’ expectations or ratings. Data were collected using a satisfaction scale and analyzed in a descriptive percentage. The results show that the KIPAS steps are applicable, with user ratings ranging from very feasible to quite feasible.

Abstract

Mind skills become the counselor’s internal competencies that support the counselor’s self-development in providing guidance and counseling services. Mind skills consist of six components that are interrelated and often integrated. The metacognitive thinking process is the key to success in how counselors can manage their thoughts and mental states through these six components. This study examined the success of the reverse roleplay training strategy to improve the counselor’s mind skills. The method was quasi-experimental quantitative with a pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 31 counselors in Malang Raya, Indonesia. Data analysis in this study used two stages, descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis test. The results showed that the counselor’s mind skills achievements before and after the intervention marked a difference with significant increase. Reverse roleplay increased the participants’ understanding and experience of the thoughts, perceptions, and feelings from broader perspectives. The counselor’s mental experiences involved during counseling sessions become a “full presence” for the therapeutic relationship. This research suggests further research to explore the counselor’s mental experiences in detail. As for practical implication, the reverse roleplay is recommended as a training design for improving the internal competencies of counselors and educators in general.

Abstract

This community service is the application of the results of research on the development of Madura's Cognitive Behavioral cultural counseling model that is encompassed in the paradigm of cognitive behavioral counseling based on local wisdom in East Java. The training was carried out through expository activities, discussions, and practices through peer-counseling in the implementation of the Madurese cultural cognitive behavior counseling model. Madurese cultural cognitive behavior counseling model Training has a goal that is intended for junior high school counselors in Malang City and the Madura region, which specifically guides students with Madurese cultural backgrounds in their schools. The outcome of community service is to increase the cognitive behavioral counseling skills of Madurese cultural behavior of the counselors who guide students with Madurese cultural backgrounds in Malang City and the Madura region.Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini merupakan penerapan hasil penelitian tentang pengembangan model konseling Kognitif Perilaku budaya Madura yang terangkup dalam paradigma konseling kognitif perilaku berbasis kearifan lokal Jawa Timur. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui kegiatan ekspositori, diskusi, praktik melalui peer-counseling dalam pelaksanaan model konseling Kognitif Perilaku budaya Madura. Pelatihan keterampilan konseling Kognitif Perilaku budaya Madura ini memiliki sasaran yakni diperuntukkan kepada para konselor SMP di Kota Malang dan wilayah Madura, yang khususnya membimbing siswa berlatar budaya Madura di sekolahnya. Hasil yang ingin dicapai dari pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya keterampilan konseling kognitif perilaku budaya Madura para konselor yang membimbing siswa berlatar budaya Madura di Kota Malang dan wilayah Madura.

Abstract

The problem of self-esteem is very closely related to and influences the emotional, social, personality, and cognitive aspects of every human being, so if this problem is not resolved immediately, it will affect other things in the future. This development research aims to create a guidebook product for counselors that is interesting and easy to understand. The guidebook is about psychodrama to overcome students' self-esteem problems. The development used is following the development of Borg and Gall (1983). The steps used in development research up to the seventh stage are by needs, namely up to the product revision stage after material expert testing, media expert testing, and testing of potential product users (counselors) at SMK Negeri 6 Malang. The results show that the psychodrama guidebook received a score from guidance and counseling material experts with an inter-rater agreement model showing very high criteria of 1, media experts of 3.2, and potential product users (counselors) of 3.4. Based on expert assessments, it was concluded that the guidebook was very suitable for use.

Abstract

Career understanding is a depiction of students' mastery of various career and world of work information to support career decision making. This study is a service that aims to see the influence of the socialization of society 4.0 skills on students' understanding of careers at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Malang. The research design uses a quantitative design in the form of a Quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design using the normality test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk) and the Wilcoxon test to compare the average of two variables in one group involving 79 class XI students as research subjects . The research subjects are class XI spread across five departments, the departments in question are Visual Communication Design (DKV), Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ), marketing, Retail Business (BR), and accounting. Seminars are given for 4-5 hours on the same day. The results of the analysis of the normality test using both Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk show a non-zero normal distribution (p = 0.000) because p (Sig.) < 0.05. Therefore, another test is needed using the Wilcoxon test with the analysis results showing a sig value. p-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05). This shows that career seminars have an influence in increasing students' knowledge regarding career understanding. So it can be concluded that the delivery of career material has provided students with a better understanding of SMK 2 Muhammadiyah Malang City. Abstract

Daerah penelitian berada di Sub Cekungan Leles, Kabupaten Garut, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Secara geologi tersusun atas geologi kuarter dengan litologi berupa endapan aluvium, endapan tuf, aliran lava berasal dari sumber Gunung Guntur (Alzwar, M., Akbar, N. 1992). Dalam tujuannnya, penelitian ini akan menggambarkan geometri sistem akuifer berdasarkan kondisi geologi dan geofisika. Berdasarkan data geologi permukaan dan data sumur bor dapat menunjang kondisi stratigrafi dan peranannya terhadap potensi keberadaan airtanah. Data tersebut dikorelasikan dengan data vertical electrical sounding (VES) untuk melihat persebaran, ketebalan, dan bentuknya secara vertikal maupun lateral dengan menggunakan analisis geostatistik dengan metode krigging dan inverse distance weighted (IDW). Hasil analisis geolistrik dan korelasi dengan data sumur bor didapatkan empat kelompok nilai resistivitas yaitu: kelompok nilai resistivitas rendah; menengah pertama; mengengah kedua; dan tinggi. Dari hasil rekonstruksi data tersebut didapatkan dua jenis lapisan akuifer, yaitu akuifer semi tertekan dan akuifer tertekan. Keberadaan lapisan akuifer semi tertekan ditemukan pada kedalaman 10 – 30 meter tersusun atas tuf kasar hingga tuf-lapili dengan ketebalan bervariasi dan berbentuk melensa ke arah timur dan selatan, sedangkan akuifer tertekan ditemukan pada kedalaman 80 – 100 meter tersusun atas breksi vulkanik dengan ketebalan didominasi pada daerah Situ Bagendit area selatan daerah peneltian.Kata kunci: Sub Cekungan Leles, sumur bor, resistivitas, akuifer, geometri

Abstract

The effectiveness of clinical supervision in enhancing counselors' competencies in practicing Rational Emotive Behav-ior Counseling (REBC) remains largely unexplored. This study aims to evaluate and optimize the impact of clinical supervision on counselors' skills in REBC, particularly in developing diagnostic abilities, accuracy in disputing, and the effectiveness of technique implementation. A pre-experimental design with a quasi-experimental approach was employed. The instruments used included an REBC counseling competence evaluation and a counseling perfor-mance observation sheet. The data were analyzed descriptively.The results indicate that clinical supervision plays a significant role in improving counselors' competencies, especially in diagnostic skills, followed by an increase in dis-puting abilities. However, improvements in the effectiveness of technique implementation remain relatively low. A limited sample size is one of the constraints of this study in terms of generalizing the findings. Nevertheless, the de-scriptive results provide a reasonable overview of the impact of the supervision program on REBC counseling skills. Future research is recommended to consider sample dynamics, a time-series design, and consistency analysis through trend and graphical approaches.

Abstract

Abad 21 dengan pengaruh globalisasi menjadikan individu harus bekerja lebih keras untuk dapat tetap bertahan dan sukses dalam persaingan global. Generasi Z sebagai generasi yang akan memasuki usia produktif, sangat memerlukan persiapan yang matang untuk memasuki persaingan global tersebut, khususnya pada ranah pengambilan keputusan karirnya. Keterampilan berpikir kreatif menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang dapat mengarahkan siswa untuk mengambil keputusan karir yang tepat dan sesuai. Atas dasar gagasan tersebut, dilakukan pengukuran keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam pengambilan keputusan karir di sekolah mitra, SMA Laboratorium UM Malang. Hasil pengukuran mennjukkan 73% siswa berada pada tingkat keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam pengambilan keputusan karir yang sedang dan 27% lainnya berada dalam tingkatan rendah. Sehingga, saran yang diberikan adalah dilakukannya tindak lanjut melalui layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk membantu siswa dalam memenuhi, meningkatkan dan mematangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam pengambilan keputusan karirnya.
