Abstrak:Penelitian tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi mengenai: (1) Peraturan akademik yang telah disusun, (2) Langkah-langkah yang telah dilakukan, (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang dihadapi, (4) Cara kepala sekolah mengevaluasi penyusunan peraturan akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam kepada Tujuh orang Informan yang terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Tim Pengembang Kurikulum (TPK) sekolah, Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kehadiran siswa, kriteria ketuntasan minimal, pelaksanaan remedial dan pengayaan, kenaikan kelas, dan kelulusan belum terdokumentasi dengan baik. (2) Kepala sekolah bersama TPK ikut membuat dan menyusun rencana kegiatan, merumuskan draf, reviu dan revisi, menetapkan serta menggandakannya. (3) Faktor pendukungnya yaitu dana yang memadai, SDM guru-guru, sarana-prasarana serta dukungan dari komite sekolah. Faktor penghambatnya yaitu disiplin pegawai, komitmen pegawai, semangat siswa dalam belajar dan kurangnya dukungan dari orangtua siswa. (4) Kepala sekolah selalu hadir lebih awal di sekolah, monitoring dan supervisi proses belajar-mengajar serta evaluasi terus-menerus. Disarankan agar Kepala sekolah segera menyusun kembali, memiliki menggandakan dan mendistribusikan dokumen peraturan akademik dengan lengkap. Kata Kunci : Penyusunan, Peraturan Akademik, Kepala Sekolah Abstract: This research is aimed to obtain informations about: (1) Academic regulations that has been arranged by headmaster, (2) The steps that have been done, (3) The supporting factors and the barriers were faced by headmaster (4) The way of the headmaster was to evaluate the implementation of academic regulations.         This research used descriptive method, because it intended to describe a phenomenon, event and actual event. The method of collecting data was done by the depth interview to seven informans which consisted of headmaster, curriculum school team developers (CSTDs), teachers and an administration staff.  Based on the result of this research has been done showed that (1) students attendance, tests and exams, remidial and enrichment, passed grade, and passed exams. (2) The steps that have been done by headmaster together with curriculum school team developers (CSTDs) to formulate draft, determine, give a technical instructions, review and revise and to double it. (3) The supporting factors were sufficient budget, human resources, facilities and infrastructures. The Barriers factors of the employees discipline were less, employees commitment, students spirit to study. (4) The headmaster is always to come earlier at school, monitoring and supervising the teaching learning process.   It was suggested that the headmaster was soon to arrange an academic regulation document, to have it, to double and to distribute it completely in accordance with the arranging instructor of technical academic regulations for Senior High School.
