Abstract

The Merit System and the available options are applied in many Agencies, Institutions and Local Governments to get the best Human Resources. The objectives of this research was to ascertain the impact of open selection and competence on the performance of regional apparatus organizations in the East Belitung Regency. This study employs an explanatory approach with a quantitative approach, analyzing data using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The findings indicated that open selection had a major impact on organizational performance in part. Meanwhile, integrity has a major effect on organizational success on a partial basis. Simultaneous effects of open selection and competence on organizational efficiency are also important.

Abstract

Understanding of the response of the mine slope stability is very important regarding the safety of life and investment / productivity / environment, as anticipation of landslide prevention based on the latest research. Mine slope behavior previously discussed widely in terms of the response due to dewatering and seismic (Peak Ground Acceleration) as well through verification. This paper aims to obtain a broad dimension of design criteria that are not only unstable slopes, but the slope is stable under various conditions of the rock mass saturation (dewatering) and seismic condition. Response of slope stability per geotechnical rocks unit from different formations or any engineering formation as a result of environmental influences, for example, the same quake, will be different. This means that the geometry of the same slope in other formation will have different stability conditions (safety factor of the slope) due to the same seismic acceleration. This is also similar due to dewatering. The method used for this study is the deductive-probabilistic method with a hypothetical verification approach. The Standard statistical analysis is used to test the data normality and homogeneity, average and independent differences, as well as regression-correlation test. The research results show that dewatering activitycan decrease ground water level (GWL/MAT) of the slope, so the durability of sliding along the sliding plane is reduced (increasing slope safety factor). At the same time earthquake reduces shear strength and increases driving force, so the safety factor of the slope suddenly downs. Slope stability decreased due to the earthquake, but dewatering improves slope stability. Thus, the slope in dewatering conditions will be kept stable through simulation to anticipate earthquake.

Abstract

Kabupaten Konawe dan Kabupaten Konawe Utara merupakan bagian dari Kawasan Strategis Nasional (KSN) Soroako dan sekitarnya, yang dicanangkan sebagai wilayah dengan komoditi unggulan pertambangan nikel. Penentuan kawasan pertambangan berbasis komoditi unggulansumberdaya nikel ini menggunakan pendekatan Satuan Genetika Wilayah (SGW) dan memanfaatkan Teknologi Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG).Valuasi matrik holistik SGW menghasilkan 204 nilai SGW di Kabupaten Konawe dan 248 nilai SGW di Kabupaten Konawe Utara. Valuasi matrik holistik tersebut, menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan  aspek potensi dan kendala wilayah terhadap total nilai valuasi SGW. Berdasarkan valuasi SGW dan analisis SWOT  kawasan pertambangan prioritas I, maka dapat direkomendasikan bahwa SGW Pedataran Patahan Batuan Ultramafik daerah Langikima dan Wiwirano serta SGW Pedataran Batuan Ultramafik daerah Asera, Andowia, Wiwirano dan Molawe sebagai Kawasan Andalan Pertambangan Nikel, dengan total sumberdaya sekitar 1,14 Milyar Ton, dan nilai valuasi skenario dikembangkan/ditambang berkisar 248 hingga 298.

Abstract

Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Cisadane merupakan wilayah yang pembangunannya berkembang sangat pesat. Tingginya aktivitas pembangunan tersebut menjadikan pemahaman kondisi bawah permukaan aliran sungai Cisadane perlu untuk dipelajari. DAS Cisadane termasuk dalam Cekungan Jakarta bagian Barat, tersusun oleh endapan aluvium, delta dan material gunungapi serta batuan tua yang berumur Tersier. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui struktur bawah permukaan yang ada di bagian tengah DAS Cisadane. Metode gaya berat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi keberadaan struktur bawah permukaan berdasarkan kontras densitas batuannya. Analisis struktur bawah permukaan dilakukan melalui interpretasi dari peta anomali Bouguer dan anomali residual serta model dua dimensi gayaberat. Hasil penelitian mempelihatkan nilai anomali Bouguer antara 47.0 sampai 70.4 mGal. Anomali di bagian utara dan selatan relatif lebih rendah daripada bagian tengah, menunjukkan bahwa basement di bagian utara dan selatan lebih dalam dibandingkan di bagian tengah. Penampang model gayaberat dibuat dalam 3 lapisan, dengan densitas 1.9 mGal berupa sedimen kuarter, 2.2 mGal sedimen Tersier dan batuan dasar 2.67 mGal. Pola struktur bawah permukaan DAS Cisadane bagian tengah berupa sesar mendatar yang berarah baratlaut-tenggara.

Abstract

The Upper Citarik sub-watershed area is part of the Citarum watershed. Most of the surrounding land is used as agricultural areas, gardens, rice fields, forests, and settlements. With most of the people working as farmers, it causes land degradation due to agricultural extensification. Because the Cicalengka area is estimated to be the final part of the Lembang Fault, and an area that has experiencing changes of land use, this study aims to examine the relationship between the morphotectonic aspects of the Upper Citarik watershed and land use around the Citarik River. The approach used to identify morphotectonic influences in the research area is the analysis of the ridge lineament pattern as well as geomorphic analysis in the form of bifurcation ratio (Rb), drainage density (Dd), mountain front sinousity (Smf), and valley floor width to height ratio (Vf). The dominant pattern of ridge lineaments in the study area is northeast-southwest, resulting in mountains oriented northwest-southeast. The average Rb value is 3.64, Dd ranges from 0.25-10, Vf with an average of 0.62, and the Smf value ranges from 1.11-1.64 in the north and 1.3-2.39 in the south. It can be interpreted that the tectonic activity of the surrounding area is classified as moderately active tectonic, and there are differences in tectonic classes between the northern and southern parts.

Abstract

The Cihaur watershed is one of the interesting areas for study about morphotectonic. This area is an earthquake-prone caused by subduction zone and active fault. The methods used in this study are: lineament analysis, morphotectonic, and associate of lithology and tectonic activity. The lineament analysis show that the ridge lineament pattern of study area is dominantly oriented West-East, following to structural pattern of Java. The morphotectonic analysis used three geomorphic index: basin asymmetric factor (Af), valley width-to-high ratio (Vf), and mountain front sinuosity (Smf). Then all the geomorphic index calculated by average of five geomorphic indices became index of relative tectonic activity (IATR). The study area was divided into four parts: 1st Class (very high tectonic, 13.14% in area); 2nd Class (high, 8.88% in area); 3rd Class (moderate, 46.21% in area); and 4th Class (low, 15.62% in area). This IATR result show that Cihaur watershed was controlled by moderate tectonic activity. The lithology of the study area is divided into: volcanic rock, sedimentary rock, and lake sediment. Association with tectonic activity shows that sedimentary rocks were highly tectonic-very highly tectonic, the volcanic rocks were moderately tectonic-highly tectonic, and lake sediment was low tectonic.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 hingga akhir tahun 2021 masih berlangsung sehingga masyarakat diharapkan masih terus menerapkan protokol kesehatan dengan ketat. Di lain pihak, program vaksinasi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah sudah berjalan dengan baik. Namun demikian, hal tersebut perlu terus diawasi di beberapa daerah agar program vaksinasi dapat berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat, para akademisi dalam hal ini dosen dan mahasiswa memiliki peran untuk membantu program percepatan vaksinasi. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan sosialisasi dengan tema penguatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap bahaya penularan Covid-19 perlu dilakukan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Wangisagara, Kecamatan Majalaya, Kabupaten Bandung pada 22 November hingga 22 Desember 2021 atas dukungan Universitas Padjadjaran dan UNICEF. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan observasi lapangan, yaitu koordinasi dengan pihak aparat Desa Wangisagara, monitoring penerapan protokol kesehatan di sekolah, serta sosialisasi kepada masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman serta penguatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap bahaya pandemi Covid-19 dan pentingnya vaksinasi bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan sosialisasi berjalan dengan baik dan dihadiri sejumlah orang di Desa Wangisagara serta aparat desa dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa adanya sosialisasi membuat masyarakat menjadi semakin paham akan pentingnya vaksinasi di tengah adanya kenaikan kasus Covid-19 varian Omicron. Hal ini pula yang menjadi harapan ke depannya agar kesadaran masyarakat juga meningkat di daerah-daerah lain di Indonesia.

Abstract

The upstream part of the watershed (DAS) extremely affects the downstream area, one of the erosion processes in the upstream and sedimentation processes in the downstream. This must be considered because excess sedimentation from downstream could potentially cause flooding. The rocks in the study area are dominated by volcanic rocks with various levels of resistance to erosion, from highly resistant lava to highly volatile volcanil materials. The research was conducted with studio analysis, laboratory analysis, normalization and correlation tests. The results of the study shows that the area has various values of erosion and sedimentation, because the Cimanuk watershed has various rock types due to volcanism. However, the value of erosion and sedimentation are directly proportional and highly correlated, this proves that indeed erosion in the upstream part highly affects sedimentation in the downstream part of the Cimanuk watershed.

Abstract

The research area is in the Sarimukti region, Cipatat District, West Bandung Regency, West Java Province. Geographically is at 107 ° 19’51.9024 “EL—107 ° 22’34.9392” EL and - 6 ° 49’56.7156 “SL —-6 ° 47’14.8344” SL. The research area is hill which is dominated by volcanic rock. Based on the physiographic aspects, the research area is include in Bandung Zone. Geological mapping aims to determine the geomorphological conditions in the construction of landfill site in the research area using field and studio approaches. Some of the methods used include geomorphological aspects as well as an assessment of the regional stage of the landfill weighting criteria. The results in the research area are the geomorphological unit of volcanic hills gentle slopes, the geomorphological unit of volcanic hills slightly steep slopes, the geomorphological unit of volcanic hills steep slope, and the geomorphological unit of denudational hills slightly slopes. According to the geomorphological and weighting analysis of the regional stage, it is assessed that this land needs to be subjected to a rather heavy technology engineering, or it is moved to land that is deemed more suitable for landfill.

Abstract

The shape of the earth's surface that exists today is the result of geological processes that have taken place during the geological period which can show how the characteristics and distribution of the rocks. This research was conducted to find out how the geomorphological conditions were by analyzing the morphographic, morphometric, and morphogenetic aspects as a geomorphological shaper in an area. The research location is in Mekarjaya Village, Ciemas District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java which has geomorphological conditions that are influenced by the existence of old submarine volcano activity which then uplifted and exposed by intensive tectonic processes. The method used in this study combines qualitative and quantitative aspects supported by satellite imagery, data processing applications, and references from previous research. The results of this study show that there are 2 geomorphological units in the study area, namely the Slightly Steep Volcanic Hills Unit and Steep Volcanic Hills Unit with andesitic lava rock distribution and volcanic breccia. The river flow pattern that developed is a rectangular drainage pattern.
