Abstract

Solid and liquid waste from PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari only do the management and utilization. The Company not count the economic value of waste produced. If the company counting and know about the economic value of waste, so the company will know advantage which ought to be accepted by PT. SIL. This research aim to identify kind and form of waste, and also counting and analysis economic value of waste yielded by PT. SIL. Analysis method the use is descriptive analysis for first aim and quantitative descriptive for second aim. Based on the research result, solid waste the yielded is empty fruits bunch, fiber, shell and solid. Liquid waste consist of condensate and sludge oil. The form and benefit from each yielded waste different each other. Total economic value of waste yielded by PT. SIL is Rp 518.140.954,47/month. The mentioned mean that the waste of yielded by PT. SIL have economic value and than the company getting of benefit, that is the company getting income from waste is Rp 518.140.954,47/month.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to determine the flow of supply chain Fresh Fruit Bunches in PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari (PT.SIL) and analysis the value of marketing margin earned each marketing agency in the supply chain Fresh Fruit Bunches in PT. SIL. Primary data and secondary data were used in this research which was taken in February 2016 to March 2016. Data collection was done by observation, recording and interviews. Data analysis technique was in this research quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of this research concluded that there were three patterns of flow in the supply chain PT.SIL. The third stream of the supply chain, namely, supply chin flow pattern 1: non plasma farmers - traders - supplier - PT.SIL. The flow pattern of the supply chain II: non plasma farmers - supplier - PT.SIL. The flow pattern of the supply chain III : non plasma farmers – PT. SIL. The flow patterns of supply chain IV: plasma farmers - KSU-BKM - PT. SIL. Marketing margin obtained marketing agencies in the supply chain flow 1 was Rp 230/ kg. Stream supply chain II had a value of marketing margin Rp 230 / kg. The flow of the Supply Chain III had a value of marketing margin 0/Kg. The flow of the supply chain IV had a value of marketing margin of Rp 200 / Kg.

Abstract

This study aimed to know the income to the tobocco farming and marketing channels, distribution   and to determine the marketing marjin in Doloksaribu village Pagaran districts North Tapanuli district.  This study uses descriptive and do purposive method location. Determination of farmer respondents is done by Stratified Random Sampling technique as much as 50 farmers, while to know the marketing channels used snowball sampling method. Types of data collected included primary data and secondary data.  This study uses data were analyzed the farm income of tobacco farmers, analyze marketing channels and marketing margins.The results showed the average income of cash tenant farmers in the Doloksaribu village of Pagaran District is Rp.23.994.011,58 per hectare in one growing season is greater than the share tenant farmers on average earnings of Rp.21.051.624,77per hectare per cropping season and owner operatorRp.17.708.316,37per hectare per cropping season. The main marketing channel in the study area is from tobacco farmers (producers) to the consumer (the tobacco company). Tobacco marketing margin in the village Doloksaribu is very low (0) in the absence of marketing institutions that play a role in these activities so that the channel marketing is also short

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of palm tree tapper and its effect on the amount of sap production. The study was carried out in the Danau Liang Village in Lebong Tengah District, Lebong Regency through a survey involving 45 palm tappers in May 2013. Data collected were characteristics of palm tappers (independent variables) consisting of age, education, experience, family dependents, number tapped trees, and number of trees, and the dependent variable is the production of sap. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the average age characteristics of palm tappers were as follows: age 38.24 years, education level was only junior high school level, number of dependents of family of 3 people, experience tapping palm 14.84 years the number of trees tapped 28 stems, age of trees which was intercepted 8.07 years, the number of the widows was 2 pieces, and the length of interception was 1.86 hours. The characteristics of tapping variables that have a significant effect on the amount of sap production are the number of sugar palm trees controlled by tappers and the age of the tapped trees.Keywords: Aren, Tapper Aren, Palm Sugar Palm

Abstract

This study aims to analyze farmers' perceptions of partnerships in the Pondok Kubang District. This research was conducted in Bengkulu Tengah Regency, for 5 months from June to October 2019. This type of research is survey research. In this study two types of data are used, namely, primary data obtained from respondents directly and secondary data, obtained from government agencies and related institutions. Measurement of farmers' perceptions and behavior is carried out using a Likert scale or assessment score. Based on the results of the study it was found that farmers 'perceptions of partnerships that have been established are classified as good, this can be seen from the acquisition scores obtained that farmers' perceptions about conformity of opinion with the core company are 75% of farmers answered Fairly Good with an Average Score of 9.75; farmers' perceptions of the socio-economic benefits of the partnership that have taken place are 75% of farmers answering Fairly Good with an Average Score of 10.50, and farmers' perceptions of information disclosure between partner farmers and core companies in the partnership are 100% of breeders answered Good with an average score of 12.25.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya motor brusless DC  (BLDC) atau yang biasa juga disebut permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) menggunakan hall-sensor untuk mengetahui posisi dan kecepatan dari motor tersebut. Data nilai arus (I) dan tegangan (V) pada pemodelan dasar dari motor BLDC sebagai masukan dari metode sliding mode observer (SMO). Metode sensorless yang didasarkan pada SMO diajukan untuk menggantikan perangkat hall-sensor untuk mengestimasi posisi rotor dan kecepatan motor BLDC. Pengujian akan dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi power simulator (PSim). Untuk mendapatkan error estimasi kecepatan pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan kecepatan aktual dengan kecepatan estimasi. Pengujian dilakukan dengan dua (2) nilai kecepatan yang berbeda yaitu sebesar 1000 r/min dan 1200 r/min dan dua (2) beban mekanik yang berbeda yaitu sebesar 0.1 Nm dan 0.5 Nm. Hasil dari simulasi yang telah dilakukan dengan kecepatan motor BLDC sebesar 1000 r/min dan beban mekanik sebesar 0.1 Nm, didapatkan nilai error estimasi kecepatan sebesar 6,7%, dengan kecepatan sebesar 1000 r/min dan beban sebesar 0.5 Nm, didapatkan nilai error estimasi sebesar 7,2%, dengan kecepatan motor sebesar 1200 r/min dan beban sebesar 0.1 Nm, didapatkan nilai error estimasi sebesar 9,5%, dengan kecepatan motor sebesar 1200 r/min dan beban sebesar 0.5 Nm, didapatkan nilai error estimasi sebesar 9,8%. Dari pengujian tersebut membuktikan sliding mode observer dapat bekerja dengan baik karena nilai error estimasi kurang dari 10% dan merupakan metode yang robust.

Abstract

As electric vehicles (EV) become increasingly popular in the automotive world, an accurate State-of-Charge (SoC) estimation is critical to optimizing energy utilization, increasing driving range and ensuring long-lasting battery system. This research focuses on the application of Deep Neural Networks (DNN) as an SoC estimation method in EV, exploiting the inherent capacity of DNN to learn complex relationships in vast data sets. The results of the performed simulations show that the proposed DNN-based SoC estimation method achieves a high level of accuracy, outperforming traditional estimation techniques, especially in scenarios involving rapid changes in driving conditions. This research also explores the impact of Neural Networks architecture and hyperparameter tuning on overall performance and provides insights for optimizing DNN-based SoC estimation systems. From the tests that have been carried out, an error value of 1.3% is obtained from the results of the training carried out on the DNN structure that has been prepared.

Abstract

Lithium-ion batteries have become one of the top choices for efficient and environmentally friendly mobility in today's era. Batteries play an important role in our digital lifestyles, from smartphones to electric cars. The use of this battery is inseparable from the challenge of estimating the State of Charge (SOC), which is a key parameter to monitor the availability of energy remaining in the battery. Therefore, an accurate SOC Estimation method is needed, which is important for efficient energy management and safe battery use. The Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model was chosen because of its ability to handle complex time series data and nonlier patterns in battery performance. This study provides the application of LSTM for SoC estimation and shows that LSTM is superior to the Feed Neural Network (FNN) method as evidenced by the simulation results that show that the LSTM model produces an RMSE of 4.92%, while the FNN model produces an RMSE of 7.82. From all the tests that have been carried out, the best RMSE value of 3.53% was obtained at a temperature of 25°C epoch 100.

Abstract

The growing demand for energy around the world is driving the development of renewable resources, and batteries are the primary choice for energy storage. To carry out effective energy management, State of Charge (SOC) estimation of Lithium-ion batteries is essential. The development of an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) model for SOC estimation using LG 18650 HG2 battery dataset is the objective of this research. It is tested with two parameters, namely two inputs consisting of voltage and current; and three inputs consisting of voltage, current, and temperature. The shape of the membership function, number of nodes, and epochs are some of the indicators tested to find the best configuration. The results show that the three-input configuration with generalized-bell membership function (Gbell MF), five nodes, and 100 epochs has the smallest Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), which is 0.0317, compared to the best two-input configuration, which has an RMSE of 0.0527. Since the three-input configuration takes longer to train, further improvements are needed for real-time implementations such as in electric vehicle battery management systems.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Durian Demang dalam memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumah sebagai bagian dari penguatan ekonomi rumah tangga melalui konsep Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari (KRPL). Penyuluhan dilakukan kepada Kelompok Tani Sejahtera Bersama menggunakan pendekatan terstruktur dan materi berbasis KRPL. Peserta memiliki rentang usia 45–66 tahun dengan latar belakang pendidikan mayoritas tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Sebelum penyuluhan, sebagian besar peserta belum memanfaatkan pekarangan secara optimal meskipun memiliki lahan yang cukup luas. Setelah kegiatan berlangsung, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan serta adanya intensi untuk menerapkan ilmu yang diperoleh. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan penyuluhan yang tepat dapat memberdayakan masyarakat dalam penguatan ketahanan pangan dan ekonomi rumah tangga.
