Abstract

Demand of corn always increased. Therefore corn production has to be increased through both intensification and extensification program. Cultivation of corn in acid sulphate soil has salinity problems causing crop toxicity. This study aims to determine the effect of NaCl concentration to the growth and yield of corn in the acid sulphate soil with saturated cultivation, and assesing the growth phase of corn which is tolerant to the NaCI stress. The experiment was carried out at green house, located in Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University Pontianak. The experimental design was completely randomized design which consisted of two factors and three replications. The first was the level NaCl which consisted of n0 (without NaCI), n1 (1,50+3,00 dS/m) dan n2 (3,00+6,00 dS/m) whereas the second factor was NaCl application time which consisted of p1  (early growth phase), p2 (toward tasseling phase), and p3 (after tasseling phase). The result showed that the treatment of NaCI concentration sinivicantly effeced only the dry wight of plant. Meanwhile, the period of NaCI application did not effect on all variable observed.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Moringa leaf pudding is one type of additional food that is rich in nutrients. The nutritional content of moringa leaves includes protein, beta carotene (pro-vitamin A), carbohydrates, calcium, fiber, energy that can maintain health and stamina. Making moringa leaf pudding is quite easy, but the cadres do not have the skills to make moringa leaf pudding. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Moringa Leaf Pudding Making Training on Cadre Skills in the Coastal Area of Kendari City. Type of pre-experimental research with One Group pretest-posttest research design. The sample in this study were 16 cadres in the coastal area of Kendari City, namely cadres in Abeli Village using accidental sampling technique. Statistical tests using the Wilcoxon pSigned Rank Test. Data collection questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the study obtained the value of skills before training is a mean of 4.88, a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 and the value after training obtained a mean of 7.39, a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10. The results of the Wilcoxon test obtained a P value of 0.000. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of Moringa leaf pudding making training on cadres in the coastal area of Kendari City. It is hoped that cadres can utilize local food ingredients and process them into pudding and then distribute it to the community, especially mothers who have children under five. Abstract

This research discusses the role of technology in the representation of the true people in Nano Riantiarno's play "Demonstran". Using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach, this research aims to identify signs that represent the true people in the context of the play. Through digital media, elements such as stage settings, costumes, visual settings, music, background sounds, and sound effects are used to strengthen the representation of the people. This research explores how technology affects the way folk representations are understood and received by the audience. As such, it contributes to the understanding of the relationship between technology, semiotics and folk representation in the context of performing arts.
